1Heterogeneously integrated,superconducting silicon-photonic platform for measurementdevice-independent quantum key distribution显示文摘Integrated photonics provides a route to both miniaturization of quantum key distribution(QKD)devices and enhancing their performance.A key element for achieving discrete-variable QKD is a singlephoton detector.It is highly desirable to integrate detectors onto a photonic chip to enable the realization of practical and scalable quantum networks.We realize a heterogeneously integrated,superconducting silicon-photonic chip.Harnessing the unique high-speed feature of our optical waveguide-integrated superconducting detector,we perform the first optimal Bell-state measurement(BSM)of time-bin encoded qubits generated from two independent lasers.The optimal BSM enables an increased key rate of measurement-device-independent QKD(MDI-QKD),which is immune to all attacks against the detection system and hence provides the basis for a QKD network with untrusted relays.Together with the timemultiplexed technique,we have enhanced the sifted key rate by almost one order of magnitude.With a 125-MHz clock rate,we obtain a secure key rate of 6.166 kbps over 24.0 dB loss,which is comparable to the state-of-the-art MDI-QKD experimental results with a GHz clock rate.Combined with integrated QKD transmitters,a scalable,chip-based,and cost-effective QKD network should become realizable in the near future.Xiaodong Zheng Peiyu Zhang Renyou Ge Liangliang Lu Guanglong He Qi Chen Fangchao Qu Labao Zhang Xinlun Cai Yanqing Lu Shining Zhu Peiheng Wu Xiao-Song Ma 2021Advanced Photonics2021,3,5:5
2Processing,Quality,Safety,and Acceptance of Meat Analogue Products显示文摘Rapid global population growth has caused an increasing need for products containing protein.Meat products are the most common high-protein food source,but impact the environment,cause animal welfare issues,and raise public health concerns.Consumer health and food safety are paramount to the food industry.Both the scientists and food industry are actively seeking plant proteins to substitute for animal-sourced proteins.Plant proteins have a well-balanced amino acid composition,and exhibit great potential for replacing meat via the development of healthy,high-protein,low-saturated fat,cholesterol-free,and nutritionally similar meat-like products.Generally,meat analogue formulations are specially designed and processing conditions are optimized to obtain the texture and bite of real animal meat.This article focuses on plant-based meat analogues,and covers aspects regarding processing,products,quality,and nutritional and structural modifications.Product safety consciousness and consumer acceptance are also discussed.Challenges and perspectives for future research concerning nonmeat products are presented.Cuixia Sun Jiao Ge Jun He Renyou Gan Yapeng Fang 2021Engineering2021,7,5:4

The empirical relationship between reflection coefficient and the ratio of the total horizontal forces acting on the perforated caisson to those on solid vertical walls with the relative chamber width, relative water depth and porosity of perforated wall, etc. are given. 5Variations of nutrient elements and its effect on ecological environment off the Changjiang estuarine waters显示文摘On the basis of the date obtained in two cruises during October 1997 and May 1998, the concentration distribution and the variation of present species of nutrient elements in the water masses are described. 9Prognostic for fuel cell based on particle filter and recurrent neural network fusion structure显示文摘Fuel cells are considered as one of the most promising candidates for future power source due to its high energy density and environmentally friendly properties,whereas the short lifespan blocks its large-scale commercializa-tion.In order to enhance the reliability and durability of proton exchange membrane fuel cell,a fusion prog-nostic approach based on particle filter(model-based)and long-short term memory recurrent neural network(data-driven)is proposed in this paper.Both the remaining useful life estimation and the short-term degradation prediction can be achieved based on the prognostic method.For remaining useful life estimation,the particle filter method is used to identify the model parameters in the training phase and the long-short term memory recurrent neural network is used to update the parameters in the prediction phase.As for short-term degradation prediction,the particle filter and long-short term memory recurrent neural network are firstly trained individually in the training phase and then be fused to make predictions in the prediction phase.The proposed fusion structure is validated by the fuel cell experimental tests data,and results indicate that better prognostic performance can be obtained compared with the individual model-based or data-driven method.Renyou Xie Rui Ma Sicheng Pu Liangcai Xu Dongdong Zhao Yigeng Huangfu 2020Energy and AI2020,2,2:1

13Natural sources,refined extraction,biosynthesis,metabolism,and bioactivities of dietary polymethoxyflavones(PMFs)显示文摘Polymethoxyflavones(PMFs)are a type of uncommon dietary flavonoids,characterized by more than one methoxy group,which exist in limited plant species,like Citrus species and Kaempferia parviflora.In addition,different PMFs,such as nobiletin,sinensetin,tangeretin,and casticin,have been isolated from these natural sources.PMFs have received increasing attention due to their multiple bioactivities,such as antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,anti-cancer,metabolic regulatory,immunoregulatory,neuroprotective,and skin protective effects.These bioactivities of PMFs should be associated with the regulation of critical molecular targets and the interaction with gut microbiota.In order to provide a comprehensive and updated review of PMFs,their natural sources,refined extraction,biosynthesis,metabolism,and bioactivities are summarised and discussed,with the emphasis on the molecular mechanisms of PMFs on regulating different chronic diseases.Overall,PMFs may be promising flavonoids to the forefront of nutraceuticals for the prevention and/or treatment of certain human chronic diseases.Renyou Gan Yi Liu Hang Li Yu Xia Huan Guo Fang Geng Qiguo Zhuang Huabin Li Dingtao Wu 2024Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,1:1

16Mo-based perpendicularly magnetized thin films with low damping for fast and low-power consumption magnetic memory显示文摘Perpendicular magnetic anisotropy-based magnetic tunnel junctions(p-MTJs) with low Gilbert damping constant(α) are of particular interest for fast and low-power consumption magnetic random-access memory(MRAM). However, obtaining a faster switching speed and lower power consumption is still a big challenge. Herein, we report a Mo-based perpendicular double free layer structure with a low Gilbert damping constant of 0.02 relative to W-based films, as measured by time-resolved magnetooptical Kerr effect equipment. To show the influence of different film structures on the Gilbert damping constant, we measured the Mo-based single free layer. Thereafter, we deposited the full stacks with the Mo-based double free layer and obtained a high tunneling magnetoresistance of 136.3% and high thermal stability. The results of high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HR-TEM) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS) showed that the Mo-based films had better crystallinity,sharper interfaces, and weaker diffusion than the W-based films and thus produced a weaker external contribution of the Gilbert damping constant. As a result of the weak spin-orbit coupling in the Mo-based structure, the intrinsic contribution of the Gilbert damping constant was also weak, thereby leading to the small Gilbert damping constant of the Mo-based stacks. In addition, the macro-spin simulation results demonstrated that the magnetization switching by the spin transfer torque of the Mo-based MTJs was faster than that of the W-based MTJs. 18Tailored boron phosphate monolithic foam with multimodal hierarchically porous structure and its applications显示文摘The synthesis of multimodal hierarchically porous materials is of great challenge by facile approach.Herein,we assemble BPO_(4) hollow spheres into macroscopic foam materials with multimodal hierarchically porous structure by combining down-to-up process and Ostwald ripening effect.Tailored monolithic B_(2)O_(3)@BPO_(4) foams were obtained from a sticky hydrogel precursor by a one-step annealing process.The foam has the self-supporting frame of BPO_(4) hollow spheres with covering B_(2)O_(3) nanowires and shows excellent permeability and relatively high surface area due to hierarchical structure.The formation mechanism of monolithic B_(2)O_(3)@BPO_(4) foams mainly undergoes inflation,particle aggregation,and Ostwald ripening process.Monolithic foams exhibit superior catalytic activity in oxidation dehydrogenation of alkanes due to the sufficient exposure of active sites over the special frame structure.Furthermore,various monolithic functionalized BPO_(4) foam composites can be easily synthesized and exhibit superior performance in different applications including the oxidation of carbon monoxide,and the self-driven removal of organic pollutants.More interestingly,we also found the sticky hydrogel precursor possesses good heat shielding effect.This work provides a new insight for constructing multimodal hierarchically porous materials with the remaining superior property of nanoscale to cope with various challenges.Qiuwen Liu Qiang Liu Yawei Wu Renyou Zeng Fangshu Xing ChuChu Cheng Huibin Qiu Caijin Huang 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:0
19Ultra-high extinction ratio optical pulse generation with a thin film lithium niobate modulator for distributed acoustic sensing显示文摘We experimentally demonstrate ultra-high extinction ratio(ER)optical pulse modulation with an electro-optical modulator(EOM)on thin film lithium niobate(TFLN)and its application for fiber optic distributed acoustic sensing(DAS).An interface carrier effect leading to a relaxation-tail response of TFLN EOM is discovered,which can be well addressed by a small compensation component following the main driving signal.An ultrahigh ER>50 dB is achieved by canceling out the tailed response during pulse modulation using the EOM based on a cascaded Mach–Zehnder interferometer(MZI)structure.The modulated optical_(√)pulses are then utilized as a probe light for a DAS system,showing a sensitivity up to-62.9 dB·rad∕Hz~2(7 pε/Hz)for 2-km single-mode sensing fiber.Spatial crosstalk suppression of 24.9 dB along the fiber is also obtained when the ER is improved from 20 dB to 50 dB,clearly revealing its importance to the sensing performance.YUAN SHEN XIAOQIAN SHU LINGMEI MA SHAOLIANG YU GENGXIN CHEN LIU LIU RENYOU GE BIGENG CHEN YUNJIANG RAO 2024Photonics Research2024,12,1:0
