1Accumulation and speciation of selenium in Cardamine sp. in Yutangba Se Mining Field, Enshi, China显示文摘A naturally selenium-accumulating Cardamine sp. is growing in Yutangba Selenium Mining Field, Enshi area, Hubei Province, China, where the geochemical environment is selenium-enriched and endemic selenosis ever occurred in humans. The present study investigated the characteristics of accumulation, speciation and quantity of selenium in Cardamine sp. with HPLC-ICP-MS. Results show that Cardamine sp. can accumulate Se at most 1427 mg/kg in seedling leaves. Even after the biomass incensement of growing up, the plant still could accumulate Se up to several hundred of mg/kg in concentration. Moreover, the biomass enrichment coefficient(BEC) of Se is exceedingly high, in the seedling leaves mostly, higher than 50 mg/kg; in the range of 43.7–68 mg/kg; and the lowest value is higher than 3 mg/kg in mature fronds. Se is present in the plant predominantly in form of Se Cys2 with the highest concentration in seeds; up to 1081 mg/kg as Se. In contrast, Se Cys2 levels are low during early growth period; they are 136.1 mg/kg as Se in seedling fronds and 39.4 mg/kg as Se in mature fronds, respectively. Se Met concentration is comparatively low; 10.6 mg/kg as Se in seedling frond and 5.3 mg/kg as Se in half mature fronds, respectively. This indicates that Cardamine sp. is extremely efficient in extracting Se from soil and translocating it into its above-ground biomass. Therefore, Cardamine sp., found in Yutangba Se Mining Field may be a new Se hyperaccumulator. It is still uncertain whether the Se-accumulation or detoxification of Cardamine sp. happens through the pathway of Se Cys methylated to form Se-methylseleno Cys or through the formation of Se-carboxymethyl- selenohomocysteine. 3Sea-floor exhalative sedimentary and magmatic hydrothermal superimposition on the Bainiuchang polymetallic deposit in Yunnan Province: REE geochemical evidence显示文摘In order to study the characteristics of sea-floor exhalative sedimentary and magmatic hydrothermal superimposition on the Bainiuchang polymetallic deposit, the REE compositions of the granites, host-rocks and ores have been systematically analyzed by ICP-MS. As viewed from their REE compositions, the granites show obvious negative Eu anomalies and weak negative Ce anomalies. According to their REE characteristics, the host-rocks were derived partly from sea-floor exhalative sediments. In terms of their REE compositions, the ores can be divided into two groups: one group, of which the samples were collected from the Baiyang segment relatively far away from the Bozhushan granite batholith, possesses positive Eu anomalies or no Eu anomaly and negative Ce anomalies, indicating that ore-forming hydrothermal fluid was relatively reductive and its temperature was higher than 250 ℃. Furthermore, the coinstantaneous presence of positive Eu anomalies and negative Ce anomalies indicate that the convective mixing of a little amount of seawater with hydrothermal fluid had happened while ores were precipitated on ancient sea floor. The other group, of which the samples were mainly collected from the Chuanxindong and Duimenshan segments near the Bozhushan granite batholith, has similar chondrite-monalized REE distribution patterns to those of the magmatic rocks. But as a whole, the REE characteristics of both groups change gradually starting from the Bozhushan granite batholith. 4Understanding the Conformational Interconversions of a Polymer Chain in a Liquid Environment at the Single-molecule Level显示文摘The conformational interconversions of polymer chains have been of great interest as a basic scientific issue.Single-molecule force spectroscopy(SMFS)is a powerful tool for molecular manipulation,which enables experimental studies on the single-chain behaviors of polymers.The SMFS results show that an individual polymer chain in a liquid environment may have similar properties to an ideal chain,which contradicts the traditional theoretical view.Herein,by taking into account the collisions of solvent molecules,the conformational interconversions of a single polymer chain in a liquid environment have been analyzed.The conformational interconversion frequency of a carbon-carbon bond of an alkane chain can be estimated by establishing the relationship between the internal rotation barriers of small molecules(monomers)and the corresponding macromolecules.Since the time scale of conformational interconversions of the polymer backbone is much shorter than that of SMFS experiments,most polymers with C-C backbones behave as ideal chains in liquid environments.SHAO Yue WEI Junhao BAO Yu CAI Wanhao QIAN Lu CUI Shuxun 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,5:0
5Regularities controlling the distribution of halogens in the Danzhai epithermal Hg-Au deposit in Guizhou and their significance显示文摘HALOGENS, as mineralizer elements, have been attracting ever increasing attention of geological workers inpetrogenetically experimental and ore-forming fluid geochemical studies. However, little research workhas been done on the contents, variation characteristics and significance of halogens in solid ores(rocks). 6Relationship between the formation, evolution of the ancient oil reservoir and metallogenesis显示文摘IN nature, there are many coexisting examples of petroleum with metallic ore deposit. There are metallicore deposits in the border and interior of many petroliferous basins, such as the bedded Pb-Zn ore depositin carbonate rock, gold sulfide ore deposit in black shale, cinnabar deposit, copper sandstone, kupferschiefer ore deposit, etc. (Tang Kuilian, 1995). The liquid hydrocarbon all was found in the Pb-Zn oredeposit, Mercury deposit, Carlin gold deposit (Shi Jixi et al., 1995) as well as the beds adjacentto them. There are a large number of bitumen and organic inclusions with hydrocarbon in the low-temperature Hg-Sb-Au ore concentrated district in southwestern margin to Yangtze platform. Fu Jiamao (1988)thought that they are remains after the ancient oil reservior destructed. 7Tracer system on halogen mineralizer from the epithermal deposits in Guizhou Province显示文摘HALOGENS are typical mineralizer elements and play a very important role in remobilization and resettlement of the ore-forming mental elements in the hydrothermal deposits. Studies of tracer system on halogens mineralizer include the following aspects: (i) halogens’ role as mineralizer in ore-forming action;(ii) halogens importance as tracer elements in formation and evolution of the epithermal ore deposit;(iii) halogens’ significance as guidance in looking for the buried orebodies. 8Geochemical characteristics of carbonate rock weathering and forming soil in the center area of Guizhou Province显示文摘ON the basis of the ecosystem characteristics of the carbonate rock area, the weathering of rock to formsoil is divided into 3 kinds of types: farm ecosystem, rainforest ecosystem and desert ecosystem in karstarea of central Guizhou. Carbonate rock weathering soil is dominant in the area, but there is a littleweathering soil of other rock in the farm ecosystem and rainforest ecosystem. The-carbonate rock weathering is the principal pattern to form soil in desert ecosystem. 9Microscopic scale mineralization characteristics of kerogen in microfine disseminated gold ores by using a variety of microbeam analysis techniques显示文摘ORGANIC minerogenesis is one of the important studies in the field of low-temperature mineralization. Ithas been well documented that organic matter plays a very important role in the transport, precipitationand enrichment of gold in the process of mineralization of gold deposits. We have found that manyresearches mainly employed the organic geochemical and experimentally geochemical methods to explorethe role of organic matter in minerogenesis. As kerogen is dispersed in ores and possesses microscopic geological characteristics as observed in its inner parts, little information has been developed about the geological phenomena of minerogenesis developed in the inner part of kerogen. We have adopted a variety ofsophisticated microbeam analysis techniques in the study of microscopic metasomatism and characteristicsof gold occurrence developed in the inner parts of kerogen from the ores of the Yata microfine disseminat-LlU Shirong~1, SUN Zhenya~2 and SHAO Shuxun~1 1.
