| 1 | Temperature field reconstruction of 3D luminous flames based on light field tomography theory显示文摘Standard plenoptic camera can be used to capture multi-dimensional radiation information of high temperature luminous flame to reconstruct the temperature distribution. In this study, a novel method for reconstructing three-dimensional temperature field is proposed. This method is based on the optical tomography combined with standard plenoptic camera. The flame projection information from different planes is contained in one radiation image. In this model, we introduced the effective concept of the nearest neighbor method in the frequency domain to strip the interference of redundant information in the projection and to realize three-dimensional deconvolution. The flame emission intensity received by the pixels on the charge-coupled device sensor can be obtained according to the optical tomographic model. The temperature distributions of the axisymmetric and nonaxisymmetric flames can be reconstructed by solving the mathematical model with the nearest neighbor method. | 2 | Three-dimensional temperature reconstruction of diffusion flame from the light-field convolution imaging by the focused plenoptic camera显示文摘The plenoptic imaging technique provides a promising approach to the non-invasive three-dimensional measurement, especially for the high-temperature combustion diagnosis. We establish a light-field convolution imaging model for diffusion flame in this work, considering the radiation transfer process inside the diffusion flame and the light transfer process inside the focused plenoptic camera together. The radiation transfer process is described by the radiation transfer equation and solved by the generalized source multi-flux method. Wave optics theory is adopted to describe the light transfer process, combining Fresnel diffraction and the phase conversion of the lens. The flame light-field image is obtained by the light-field convolution imaging model and adopted as the measurement signal to reconstruct three-dimensional temperature field. The inverse problem of temperature reconstruction is solved by the least square QR decomposition method. The simulative temperature reconstruction work is conducted, including the inverse analysis, the uncertainty analysis, and the measurement noise influence. All the results show that the proposed measurement method is available to reconstruct three-dimensional temperature with satisfactory accuracy and acceptable uncertainty. | 3 | Effects of silver nanoparticles with different dosing regimens and exposure media on artificial ecosystem显示文摘Due to the wide use of silver nanoparticles(AgNPs) in various fields, it is crucial to explore the potential negative impacts on the aquatic environment of AgNPs entering into the environment in different ways. In this study, comparative experiments were conducted to investigate the toxicological impacts of polyvinylpyrrolidone-coated silver nanoparticles(PVP-AgNPs) with two kinds of dosing regimens, continuous and one-time pulsed dosing, in different exposure media(deionized water and XiangJiang River water). There were a number of quite different experimental results(including 100% mortality of zebrafish,decline in the activity of enzymes, and lowest number and length of adventitious roots) in the one-time pulsed dosing regimen at high PVP-AgNP concentration exposure(HOE)compared to the three other treatments. Meanwhile, we determined that the concentration of leached silver ions from PVP-AgNPs was too low to play a role in zebrafish death. Those results showed that HOE led to a range of dramatic ecosystem impacts which were more destructive than those of other treatments. Moreover, compared with the continuous dosing regimen, despite the fact that higher toxicity was observed for HOE, there was little difference in the removal of total silver from the aquatic environment for the different dosing regimens. No obvious differences in ecological impacts were observed between different water columns under low concentration exposure. | 4 | Meiotic nuclear divisions 1(MND1)fuels cell cycle progression by activating a KLF6/E2F1 positive feedback loop in lung adenocarcinoma显示文摘Background:Considering the increase in the proportion of lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)cases among all lung cancers and its considerable contribution to cancer-related deaths worldwide,we sought to identify novel oncogenes to provide potential targets and facilitate a better understanding of the malignant progression of LUAD.Methods:The results from the screening of transcriptome and survival analyses according to the integrated Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)datasets and The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)data were combined,and a promising risk biomarker called meiotic nuclear divisions 1(MND1)was selectively acquired.Cell viability assays and subcutaneous xenograftmodelswere used to validate the oncogenic role ofMND1 in LUADcell proliferation and tumor growth.Aseries of assays,including mass spectrometry,co-immunoprecipitation(Co-IP),and chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP),were performed to explore the underlying mechanism.Results:MND1 up-regulation was identified to be an independent risk factor for overall survival in LUAD patients evaluated by both tissue microarray staining and third party data analysis.In vivo and in vitro assays showed that MND1 promoted LUAD cell proliferation by regulating cell cycle.The results of the Co-IP,ChIP and dual-luciferase reporter assays validated that MND1 competitively bound to tumor suppressor Kruppel-like factor 6(KLF6),and thereby protecting E2F transcription factor 1(E2F1)from KLF6-induced transcriptional repression.Luciferase reporter and ChIP assays found that E2F1 activated MND1 transcription by binding to its promoter in a feedback manner.Conclusions:MND1,KLF6,and E2F1 form a positive feedback loop to regulate cell cycle and confer DDP resistance in LUAD.MND1 is crucial for malignant progression and may be a potential therapeutic target in LUAD patients. | Quanli Zhang Run Shi Yongkang Bai Lijuan Meng Jingwen Hu Hongyu Zhu Tongyan Liu Xiaomeng De Siwei Wang Jie Wang Lin Xu Guoren Zhou Rong Yin | 2021 | Cancer Communications2021,41,6: | 2 |
| 5 | A novel chemotherapy strategy for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma: a multicenter retrospective study显示文摘Background:Chemotherapy is a common treatment for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma,but the effect is not satisfactory.The study aimed to retrospectively evaluate the effects of adding all-trans-retinoic acid(ATRA)to infusional fluorouracil,leucovorin,and oxaliplatin(FOLFOX4)for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods:We extracted the data of patients with advanced HCC who underwent systemic chemotherapy using FOLFOX4 or ATRA plus FOLFOX4 at the Eastern Hepatobiliary Surgery Hospital,First Hospital of Jilin University,and Zhejiang Sian International Hospital and retrospectively compared for overall survival.The Cox proportional hazards model was used to calculate the hazard ratios for overall survival and disease progression after controlling for age,sex,and disease stage.Results:From July 2013 to July 2018,111 patients with HCC were included in this study.The median survival duration was 14.8 months in the ATRA plus FOLFOX4 group and 8.2 months in the FOLFOX4 only group(P<0.001).The ATRA plus FOLFOX4 group had a significantly longer median time to progression compared with the FOLFOX4 group(3.6 monthsvs.1.8 months,P<0.001).Hazard ratios for overall survival and disease progression were 0.465(95%confidence interval:0.298–0.726;P=0.001)and 0.474(0.314–0.717;P<0.001)after adjusting for potential confounders,respectively.Conclusion:ATRA plus FOLFOX4 significantly improves the overall survival and time to disease progression in patients with advanced HCC. | Juxian Sun Chang Liu Jie Shi Nanya Wang Dafeng Jiang Feifei Mao Jingwen Gu Liping Zhou Li Shen Wan Yee Lau Shuqun Cheng | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,19: | 2 |

| 7 | SHRIMP Zircon U-Pb Dating of the Tongshi Magmatic Complex in Western Shandong and Its Geological Implications显示文摘The SHRIMP U-Pb zircon dating result of the Tongshi magmatic complex in western Shandong is presented in this paper. The Tongshi magmatic complex comprises fine-grained porphyritic diorite and syenitic porphyry. Eighteen analyses for fine-grained porphyritic diorite gave two concordia ages, in which ten analyses constitute the young age group, giving 206Pb/238U ages ranging from 167.9 Ma to 183 Ma with a weighted mean age of 175.7 ± 3.8 Ma, and the other eight yielded 207Pb/206Pb ages of 2502 Ma to 2554 Ma with a weighted mean 2518 ± 11 Ma. Two analyses for syenitic porphyry gave ages of 2485 Ma and 2512 Ma, respectively. | 16 | ADVISING score:a reliable grading scale based on injury and response for intracerebral haemorrhage显示文摘Background Intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH)is the most devastating form of stroke causing high morbidity and mortality.We aimed to develop a novel clinical score incorporating multisystem markers to predict functional dependence at 90 days after ICH.Methods We analysed data from Chinese Cerebral Hemorrhage:Mechanism and Intervention study.Multivariable logistic regression analysis was used to identify the factors associated with 90-day functional dependency(the modified Rankin Scale≥3)after ICH and develop the ADVISING scoring system.To test the scoring system,a total of 2111 patients from Hubei province were included as the training cohort,and 733 patients from other three provinces in China were included as an external validation cohort.Results We found nine variables to be significantly associated with functional dependency and included in the ADVISING score system:age,deep location of haematoma,volume of haematoma,National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale,aspartate transaminase,international normalised ratio,neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio,fasting blood glucose and glomerular filtration rate.Individuals were divided into 12 different categories by using these nine potential predictors.The proportion of patients who were functionally dependent increased with higher ADVISING scores,which showed good discrimination and calibration in both the training cohort(C-statistic,0.866;p value of Hosmer-Lemeshow test,0.195)and validation cohort(C-statistic,0.884;p value of Hosmer-Lemeshow test,0.853).The ADVISING score also showed better discriminative performance compared with the other five existing ICH scores(p<0.001).Conclusions ADVISING score is a reliable tool to predict functional dependency at 90 days after ICH. | Yan Wan Hongxiu Guo Shaoli Chen Jiang Chang David Wang Rentang Bi Man Li Ke Shi Zhaowei Wang Daokai Gong Jingwen Xu Quanwei He Bo Hu | 2023 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2023,8,2: | 0 |

| 20 | Correction of a CADASIL point mutation using adenine base editors in hiPsCsandbloodvessel organoids显示文摘Cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL) is a monogenic small vessel disease caused by mutations in the NOTCH3 gene. However, the pathogenesis of CADASIL remains unclear, and patients have limited treatment options. Here, we use human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) generated from the peripheral blood mononuclear cells of a patient with CADASIL carrying a heterozygous NOTCH3 mutation (c.1261C>T, p.R421C) to develop a disease model. The correction efficiency of different adenine base editors (ABEs) is tested using the HEK293T-NOTCH3 reporter cell line. ABEmax is selected based on its higher efficiency and minimization of predicted off-target effects. Vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) differentiated from CADASIL hiPSCs show NOTCH3 deposition and abnormal actin cytoskeleton structure, and the abnormalities are recovered in corrected hiPSC-derived VSMCs. Furthermore, CADASIL blood vessel organoids generated for in vivo modeling show altered expression of genes related to disease phenotypes, including the downregulation of cell adhesion, extracellular matrix organization, and vessel development. The dual adeno-associated virus (AAV) split-ABEmax system is applied to the genome editing of vascular organoids with an average editing efficiency of 8.82%.
