| 1 | Performance Evaluation for Medium Voltage MIMO-OFDM Power Line Communication System显示文摘Power line communication(PLC)provides intelligent electrical functions such as power quality measurement,fault surveys,and remote control of electrical network.Most of research works have been done in low voltage(LV)scenario due to the fast development of in-home PLC.The aim of this paper is to evaluate the link-level performance of a medium voltage(MV)MIMO-OFDM communication system based on transmission link under underground power line channel.The MIMO channel is modeled as a modified multipath model in the presence of impulsive noise and background noise.We first perform a measurement on the practical MV MIMO channel parameters for a section of buried cable of 1 km long in Ganzhou city,Jiangxi province,China.Based on the measured channel,we design the frame structure based on an IEEE standard for broadband over power line networks[1]to support MV MIMO-OFDM transmission.According to designed frame structure,we design an encoder and a decoder for a dual binary tail-biting turbo code and optimize some key decoder parameters for low bit error rate performance.Finally,the link-level performance for both spatial multiplexing and spatial diversity are evaluated.Numeral results show that MV MIMO-OFDM is a promising approach to provide both high data rate and link reliability for PLC. | Yingxue Li Min Zhang Wenguang Zhu Mengyuan Cheng Cheng Zhou Yongpeng Wu | 2020 | China Communications2020,17,1: | 10 |
| 2 | C1orf106, an innate immunity activator, is amplified in breast cancer and is required for basal-like/luminal progenitor fate decision显示文摘Basal-like breast cancer with a luminal progenitor gene expression profile is an aggressive subtype of breast cancer with a poorer prognosis compared with other subtypes.However,genes that specifically promote basal-like breast cancer development remain largely unknown.Here,we report that a novel gene C1orf106 plays an important role in maintaining the feature of basal-like/luminal progenitors.C1orf106 is frequently amplified and overexpressed in basal-like breast cancer and is associated with a poor outcome in patients.In human TCGA database,C1orf106 expression was correlated with upregulation of ELF5 and downregulation of GATA3,two transcription factors that regulate mammary gland stem cell fate.Enhanced expression of C1orf106 promotes tumor progression and expression of basal-like/luminal progenitor marker ELF5;depletion of C1orf106 suppresses tumorigenesis and expression of basal-like/luminal progenitor marker GATA3.These findings suggest that C1orf106 maintains the basal-like/luminal progenitor character through balancing the expression of ELF5 and GATA3.Taken together,we demonstrated that C1orf106 is an important regulator for basal-like/luminal progenitors and targeting C1orf106 is of therapeutic value for breast cancer. | Ji Ma Cheng Liu Decao Yang Jiagui Song Jing Zhang Tianzhuo Wang Mengyuan Wang Weizhi Xu Xueying Li Shigang Ding Jun Zhan Hongquan Zhang | 2019 | Science China(Life Sciences)2019,62,9: | 2 |

| 4 | Rice FLOURY ENDOSPERM 18 encodes a pentatricopeptide repeat protein required for 5′ processing of mitochondrial nad5 messenger RNA and endosperm development显示文摘Pentatricopeptide repeat(PPR) proteins, composing one of the largest protein families in plants,are involved in RNA binding and regulation of organelle RNA metabolism at the posttranscriptional level. Although several PPR proteins have been implicated in endosperm development in rice(Oryza sativa), the molecular functions of many PPRs remain obscure. Here, we identified a rice endosperm mutant named floury endosperm 18(flo18) with pleiotropic defects in both reproductive and vegetative development.Map-based cloning and complementation tests showed that FLO18 encodes a mitochondriontargeted P-type PPR protein with 15 PPR motifs.Mitochondrial function was disrupted in the flo18 mutant, as evidenced by decreased assembly of Complex I in the mitochondrial electron transport chain and altered mitochondrial morphology. Loss of FLO18 function resulted in defective 5′-end processing of mitochondrial nad5 transcripts encoding subunit 5 of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydrogenase. | 15 | Integrated genomic and transcriptomic analysis reveals genes associated with plant height of foxtail millet显示文摘Foxtail millet(Setaria italica)is an important C4 model crop;however,due to its high-density planting and high stature,lodging at the filling stage resulted in a serious reduction in yield and quality.Therefore,it is imperative to identify and deploy the genes controlling foxtail millet plant height.In this study,we used a semi-dwarf line 263A and an elite high-stalk breeding variety,Chuang 29 to construct an F2 population to identify dwarf genes.We performed transcriptome analysis(RNA-seq)using internode tissues sampled at three jointing stages of 263A and Chuang 29,as well as bulk segregant analysis(BSA)on their F2 population.A total of 8918 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were obtained from RNA-seq analysis,and GO analysis showed that DEGs were enriched in functions such as‘‘gibberellin metabolic process”and‘‘oxidoreductase activity”,which have previously been shown to be associated with plant height.A total 593 mutated genes were screened by BSA-seq method.One hundred and seventy-six out of the 593 mutated genes showed differential expression levels between the two parental lines,and seven genes not only showed differential expression in two or three internode tissues but also showed high genomic variation in coding regions,which indicated they play a crucial role in plant height determination.Among them,we found a gibberellin biosynthesis related GA20 oxidase gene(Seita.5G404900),which had a single-base at the third exon,leading to the frameshift mutation at 263A.Cleaved amplified polymorphic sequence assay and association analysis proved the single-base in Seita.5G404900 co-segregated with dwarf phenotype in two independent F2 populations planted in entirely different environments.Taken together,the candidate genes identified in this study will help to elucidate the genetic basis of foxtail millet plant height,and the molecular marker will be useful for marker-assisted dwarf breeding. | Mengyuan Zhu Qiang He Mingjie Lyu Tiantian Shi Qian Gao Hui Zhi Huan Wang Guanqing Jia Sha Tang Xiliu Cheng Rui Wanga Andi Xu Haigang Wang Zhijun Qiao Jun Liu Xianmin Diao Ying Gao | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,2: | 0 |

| 17 | Modified Xiaoyao powder for postpartum depression:A systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of modified Xiaoyao powder for postpartum depression(PPD)by conducting a systematic review of randomized controlled trials(RCTs).Methods:The Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure Databases(CNKI),the Chinese Scientific Journals Database(VIP),Wanfang,Google Scholar,the SinoMed,Embase,Cochrane Library,and PubMed databases were searched from their inception to April 25,2023.The Cochrane Risk of Bias tool was used to assess the quality of the trials.We applied the risk ratio to present dichotomous data and the mean difference to present continuous data.Data with similar characteristics were pooled for meta-analysis and heterogeneity was assessed using I2.Results:This review included 35 trials involving 2848 participants.The quality of the included studies was low(unclear randomization processes and insufficient reporting of blinding).Participants treated with modified Xiaoyao powder plus Western medicine showed lower Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)depression score than those who used Western medicine alone(mean difference=-2.15;95%confidence interval:-2.52 to 1.78;P<.00001),and higher effective rate(relative risk=1.19;95%confidence interval:1.15 to 1.24;P<.00001),When comparing modified Xiaoyao alone with Western medicine,the HAMD depression score remained low,however,the efficacy rate was higher in the modified Xiaoyao group.Regarding adverse events,the modified Xiaoyao group reported weight gain,nausea,and diarrhea,but no severe adverse events were reported.Conclusion:Modified Xiaoyao may help relieve depression in PPD when used alone or in combination with Western medicine,with minor side effects.Therefore,future high-quality,large-sample size RCTs are warranted. | Mengyuan Hu Xiaowen Zhang Xuya Zhang Dan Cheng Yali Zhang Xinyu Zhang Lingling Li Xinjie Li Xue Li Yi Lu | 2024 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2024,11,1: | 0 |
| 18 | 10,11-Dehydrocurvularin attenuates inflammation by suppressing NLRP3 inflammasome activation显示文摘10,11-Dehydrocurvularin(DCV)is a natural-product macrolide that has been shown to exert anti-inflammatory activity.However,the underlying mechanism of its anti-inflammatory activity remains poorly understood.Aberrant activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome is involved in diverse inflammation-related diseases,which should be controlled.The results showed that DCV specifically inhibited the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome in association with reduced IL-1βsecretion and caspase-1 activation,without effect on the NLRC4 and AIM2 inflammasomes.Furthermore,DCV disturbed the interaction between NEK7 and NLRP3,resulting in the inhibition of NLRP3 inflammasome activation.The C=C double bond of DCV was required for the NLRP3 inflammasome inhibition induced by DCV.Importantly,DCV ameliorated inflammation in vivo through inhibiting the NLRP3 inflammasome.Taken together,our study reveals a novel mechanism by which DCV suppresses inflammation,which indicates the potential role of DCV in NLRP3 inflammasome-driven inflammatory disorders. | ZHAO Qun FENG Mengyuan JIN Shu LIU Xiaobo LI Shengbao GUO Jian CHENG Xinran ZHOU Guangbiao YU Xianjun | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2023,21,3: | 0 |
