| 1 | Microstructure formation and electrical resistivity behavior of rapidly solidified Cu-Fe-Zr immiscible alloys显示文摘The immiscible Cu-Fe alloy was characterized by a metastable miscibility gap.With the addition element Zr,the miscibility gap can be extended into the Cu-Fe-Zr ternary system.The effect of the atomic ratio of Cu to Fe and Zr content on the behavior of liquid-liquid phase separation was studied.The results show that liquid-liquid phase separation into Cu-rich and Fe-rich liquids took place in the as-quenched Cu-Fe-Zr alloy.A glassy structure with nanoscale phase separation was obtained in the as-quenched(Cu0.5Fe0.5)40Zr60 alloy sample,exhibiting a homogeneous distribution of glassy Cu-rich nanoparticles in glassy Fe-rich matrix.The microstructural evolution and the competitive mechanism of phase formation in the rapidly solidified Cu-Fe-Zr system were discussed in detail.Moreover,the electrical property of the as-quenched Cu-Fe-Zr alloy samples was examined.It displays an abnormal change of electrical resistivity upon temperature in the nanoscale-phase-separation metallic glass.The crystallization behavior of such metallic glass has been discussed. | Xiaojun Sun Jie He Bin Chen Lili Zhang Hongxiang Jiang Jiuzhou Zhao Hongri Hao | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,44,9: | 5 |
| 2 | Inactivation of TFEB and NF-kB by marchantin M alleviates the chemotherapy-driven pro-tumorigenic senescent secretion显示文摘It is critical to regulate the senescence-associated secretory phenotype(SASP) due to its effect on promoting malignant phenotypes and limiting the efficiency of cancer therapy. In this study, we demonstrated that marchantin M(Mar-M, a naturally occurring bisbibenzyl) suppressed proinflammatory SASP components which were elevated in chemotherapy-resistant cells. Mar-M treatment attenuated the pro-tumorigenic effects of SASP and enhanced survival in drug-resistant mouse models.No toxicity was detected on normal fibroblast cells or in animals following this treatment. Inactivation of transcription factor EB(TFEB) and nuclear factor-k B(NF-k B) by Mar-M significantly accounted for its suppression on the components of SASP. Furthermore, inhibition of SASP by Mar-M contributed to a synergistic effect during co-treatment with doxorubicin to lower toxicity and enhance antitumor efficacy. Thus, chemotherapy-driven pro-inflammatory activity, seen to contribute to drug-resistance, is an important target for Mar-M. | 3 | Laser-generated thermoelastic acoustic sources and acoustic waves in anisotropic plate显示文摘The effect of anisotropy on the ultrasound wave generation and propagation in the unidirectional fi- ber-reinforced composite plate has been investigated. A quantitative numerical model for the la- ser-generated ultrasound in the thermoelastic regime was presented by using a finite element method. All factors, such as spatial and time distributions of the incident laser beam, optical penetration, ther- mal diffusivity, and source-receiver distance can be taken into account. Numerical results show that the effect on ultrasound waveform of the size of the laser volume source produces strong bipolar longitu- dinal waves and improves the amplitude and directivity of the longitudinal waves. A fiber-reinforced composite material exhibits isotropic or homogenous behavior for ultrasonic wave propagation per- pendicular to the fiber direction. For ultrasonic propagation along the fiber direction, ultrasonic dis- persion resulting from the inhomogeneous nature of the material affects the laser ultrasonic waveforms. | 4 | Ultra-strong and thermally stable nanocrystalline CrCoNi alloy显示文摘Grain refinement to the nanocrystalline regime is the most effective way to strengthen materials but this often deteriorates the grain-size thermal stability and plasticity. Here we manufactured a nanocrystalline face centred cubic Cr Co Ni medium entropy alloy with columnar grains via magnetron sputtering. Compression of CrCoNi pillars with diameters of ~1 μm revealed a record high yield strength of ~5 GPa for pillars with face centred cubic structures and engineering plastic strain of > 30%. The alloy possessed an outstanding grain-size thermal stability even at 1073 K. Both nanocrystalline grain size and a high density of nanotwins/stacking faults are critical to the exceptional yield strength. Deformation twinning, grains refinement during deformation, grain boundary sliding and random grain orientation all contribute to the large plasticity. | 6 | Metabolic regulation of T cell development by Sinl-mTORC2 is mediated by pyruvate kinase M2显示文摘Glucose metabolism plays a key role in thymocyte development. The mammalian target of rapamycin complex 2 (mT0RC2) is a critical regulator of cell growth and metabolism, but its role in early thymocyte development and metabolism has not been fully studied. We show here that genetic ablation of Sinl, an essential component of mTORC2, in T lineage cells results in severely impaired thymocyte development at the CD4^- CD8^- double negative (DN) stages but not at the CD4^+ CD8^+ double positive (DP) or later stages. Notably, Sinl-deficient DN thymocytes show markedly reduced proliferation and glycolysis.Importantly, we discover that the M2 isoform of pyruvate kinase (PKM2) is a novel and crucial Sinl effector in promoting DN thymocyte development and metabolism. At the molecular level, we show that Sinl-mTORC2 controls PKM2 expression through an AKT-dependent PPAR-y nuclear translocation. | 7 | MAP3K2 augments Th1 cell differentiation via IL-18 to promote T cell-mediated colitis显示文摘T cell-mediated immunity in the intestine is stringently controlled to ensure proper immunity against pathogenic microbes and to prevent autoimmunity,a known cause of inflammatory bowel disease.However,precisely how T cells regulate intestine immunity remains to be fully understood.In this study,we found that mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 2(MAP3K2)is required for the CD4^(+)T cell-mediated inflammation in the intestine.Using a T cell transfer colitis model,we found that MAP3K2-deficient naïve CD4^(+)T cells had a dramatically reduced ability to induce colitis compared to wild type T cells.In addition,significantly fewer IFN-γ-but more IL-17A-producing CD4^(+)T cells in the intestines of mice receiving MAP3K2-deficient T cells than in those from mice receiving wild type T cells was observed.Interestingly,under well-defined in vitro differentiation conditions,MAP3K2-deficient naïve T cells were not impaired in their ability to differentiate into Th1,Th17 and Treg.Furthermore,the MAP3K2-regulated colitis severity was mediated by Th1 but not Th17 cells in the intestine.At the molecular level,we showed that MAP3K2-mediated Th1 cell differentiation in the intestine was regulated by IL-18 and required specific JNK activation.Together,our study reveals a novel regulatory role of MAP3K2 in intestinal T cell immunity via the IL-18-MAP3K2-JNK axis and may provide a novel target for intervention in T cell-mediated colitis. | Ningbo Wu Dongping Chen Hongxiang Sun Jianmei Tan Yao Zhang Tianyu Zhang Yuheng Han Hongzhi Liu Xinxing Ouyang Xiao-Dong Yang Xiaoyin Niu Jie Zhong Zhengting Wang Bing Su | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,3: | 3 |
| 8 | Enhancement of strength-ductility balance of heavy Ti and Al alloyed FeCoNiCr high-entropy alloys via boron doping显示文摘As one of the most effective mechanisms,precipitation-hardening is widely used to strengthen high-entropy alloys.Yet,heavy precipitation-hardened high-entropy alloys usually exhibit serious embrittlement.How to effectively achieve ultra-high strength and maintain reliable ductility remains a challenge.Here,we report a study of doping extremely little boron to meet this target.We found that adding of 30 ppm boron into the heavy Ti and Al alloyed FCC FeCoNiCr high-entropy,(FeCoNiCr)_(88) Ti_(6) Al_(6) HEA(at.%)which is strengthened mainly by both coarse BCC-based(Ni,Co)_(2) TiAl Heusler and fine L12-type FCC-based(Ni,Co)_(3) TiAl precipitates and shows ultrahigh strength but poor ductility,could significantly change the original microstructure and consequently improve mechanical performance,owing to the well-known effect of boron on reducing the energy of grain boundaries.The boron addition can(1)eliminate microcavities formed at Heusler precipitate-matrix interfaces;(2)suppress the formation and segregation of coarse BCC Heusler precipitates;(3)promote the formation of L12 nanoparticles.This changes of microstructure substantially improve the tensile ductility more than by~86%and retain comparable or even better ultimate tensile strength.These findings may provide a simple and costless solution to produce heavy precipitation-strengthened HEAs with ultrahigh strength and prevent accidental brittleness. | Yongliang Qi Tinghui Cao Hongxiang Zong Yake Wu Lin He Xiangdong Ding Feng Jiang Shenbao Jin Gang Sha Jun Sun | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,16: | 2 |

| 10 | Detection and indication of 1,3,4-C27-29 triol in the sediment of northern South China Sea显示文摘After the detection of the 1,20,21-C_(29) long-chain triol in some sediments and freshwater pteridophytes, in this study, a new homologous long-chain triol, 1,3,4-C_(27-29), is detected for the first time in the Site4 B core sediment in the northern South China Sea. The hydroxyl location and length of the carbon chain of this newly discovered triol differ from those of 1,20,21-C_(29) triol. The test results of its molecular distribution and individual carbon isotope reveal that 1,3,4-C_(29) triol has a good correlation with n-C_(26-30) even carbon-numbered long-chain fatty alcohols, with R^2(n=68) values of 0.905, 0.929 and 0.903, respectively, and its carbon isotope composition, at –32.3‰±1.9‰, is similar to that of n-C_(26-30), at –29.13‰±0.87‰, –32.98‰±1.28‰, and –32.98‰±1.28‰. 1,3,4-C_(29) triol from the Site4 B core sediment and terrigenous long-chain fatty alcohol(n-C_(26-34)) show highly consistent distribution trends in the entire section; thus, the former could serve as a proxy indicator of the terrigenous input. Considering that the 1,20,21-C_(29) triol in previous research belongs to Azolla, which are fresh water pteridophytes, the 1,3,4-C_(27-29) triol identified in this study might have similar biogenetic derivation. | 11 | Development and validation of a UPLC–MS/MS assay for the determination of gemcitabine and its L-carnitine ester derivative in rat plasma and its application in oral pharmacokinetics显示文摘A simple and rapid UPLC–MS/MS method to simultaneously determine gemcitabine and its L-carnitine ester derivative(2’-deoxy-2’, 2’-difluoro-N-((4-amino-4-oxobutanoyl) oxy)-4-(trimethyl amm-onio) butanoate-cytidine, JDR) in rat plasma was developed and validated.The conventional plasma sample preparation method of nucleoside analogues is solidphase extraction(SPE) which is time-consuming and cost-expensive. In this study, gradient elution with small particles size solid phase was applied to effectively separate gemcitabine and JDR, and protein precipitation pretreatment was adopted to remove plasma protein and extract the analytes with high recovery(>81%). Method validation was performed as per the FDA guidelines, and the standard curves were found to be linear in the range of 5–4000 ng/ml for JDR and 4–4000 ng/ml for gemcitabine, respectively. The lower limit of quantitation(LLOQ)of gemcitabine and JDR was 4 and 5 ng/ml, respectively. The intra-day and inter-day precision and accuracy results were within the acceptable limits. | 15 | CTCs Detection and Whole-exome Sequencing Might Be Used to Differentiate Benign and Malignant Pulmonary Nodules显示文摘Background and objective Low-density computed tomography(LDCT)improved early lung cancer diagnosis but introduces an excess of false-positive pulmonary nodules data.Hence,accurate diagnosis of early-stage lung cancer remains challenging.The purpose of the study was to assess the feasibility of using circulating tumour cells(CTCs)to differentiate malignant from benign pulmonary nodules.Materials and methods 122 patients with suspected malignant pulmonary nodules detected on chest CT in preparation for surgery were prospectively recruited.Peripheral blood samples were collected before surgery,and CTCs were identified upon isolation by size of epithelial tumour cells and morphological analysis.Laser capture microdissection,MALBAC amplification,and whole-exome sequencing were performed on 8 samples.The diagnostic efficacy of CTCs counting,and the genomic variation profile of benign and malignant CTCs samples were analysed.Results Using 2.5 cells/5 m L as the cut-off value,the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve was of 0.651(95%confidence interval:0.538-0.764),with a sensitivity and specificity of 0.526 and 0.800,respectively,and positive and negative predictive values of 91.1%and 30.3%,respectively.Distinct sequence variations differences in DNA damage repair-related and driver genes were observed in benign and malignant samples.TP53 mutations were identified in CTCs of four malignant cases;in particular,g.7578115T>C,g.7578645C>T,and g.7579472G>C were exclusively detected in all four malignant samples.Conclusion CTCs play an ancillary role in the diagnosis of pulmonary nodules.TP53 mutations in CTCs might be used to identify benign and malignant pulmonary nodules. | Changdan XU Xiaohong XU Weipeng SHAO Hongliang SUN Xiaohong LIU Hongxiang FENG Xianbo ZUO Jingyang GAO Guohui WANG Xiongtao YANG Runchuan GU Shutong GE Shijie WANG Liwei GAO Guangying ZHU | 2023 | 中国肺癌杂志2023,26,6: | 1 |

| 20 | Propagation characteristics of laser-generated like-Rayleigh waves in viscoelastic adhesive coating/substrate structures显示文摘The propagation characteristics of laser-generated like-Rayleigh waves in viscoelastic adhesive coating/substrate structures were studied.Considering the viscoelasticity of the coating and substrate,we have established the finite element models in frequency domain for the laser-generated like-Rayleigh waves in the epoxy coating/aluminum substrate,epoxy coating/brass substrate,and epoxy coating/foam substrate structures,respectively.In addition,we have investigated the waveform and propagation characteristics of the like-Rayleigh waves and studied the influences of the coating transparency,coating thickness,coating viscoelasticity,and substrate viscoelasticity on the propagation characteristics of the like-Rayleigh waves.Moreover,we have verified the results by the theoretical phase velocity and attenuation curves.The results show that the coating viscoelasticity induces the attenuation characteristics of the higher frequencies of the like-Rayleigh waves,but has little effect on the lower frequencies,and the substrate viscoelasticity has the influences on both the higher and lower frequencies of the like-Rayleigh waves,especially the lower frequencies.Furthermore,the mode and dispersive characteristics of the like-Rayleigh waves are closely related to the substrates.This study provides a useful theoretical basis for inverting mechanical parameters and evaluating the adhesive quality of the viscoelastic adhesive coating/substrate structures. | GUAN Yijun SUN Hongxiang YUAN Shouqi ZHANG Shuyi GE Yong | 2016 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics2016,35,4: | 1 |
