| 1 | Break Down of Vertical-Bloch-Line Chains in the First Kind of Dumbbell Domain Walls Subjected to an in-Plane Field显示文摘Experiments were statistically carried out on the behavior of the vertical-Bloch-line(VBL)chains of the first kind of dumbbell domains(IDs)in garnet bubble films subjected to an in-plane field,Hip.It was found that for IDs the critical in-plane field,(Hip)ID,above which their VBL chains disappear,is the same as that of ordinary hard bubbles(OHBs),H'ip.However,for IDS,the critical range of Hip for VBL chain softening is larger than that of OHBs.Besides,we also found some details of the softening process,e.g.,the collapse field range of the remaining IDs shrinks rapidly towards H_(0,mas),and this very narrow range can maintain until all IDs are softened. | GUO Gexin LU Wei SUN Huiyuan NIE Xiangfu MENG Guangqing HAN Baoshan | 1995 | Chinese Physics Letters1995,12,8: | 4 |
| 2 | Effects of adding sodium dichloroacetate to low-protein diets on nitrogen balance and amino acid metabolism in the portaldrained viscera and liver of pigs显示文摘Background:Identifying regulatory measures to promote glucose oxidative metabolism while simultaneously reducing amino acid oxidative metabolism is one of the foremost challenges in formulating low-protein(LP)diets designed to reduce the excretion of nitrogen-containing substances known to be potential pollutants.In this study,we investigated the effects of adding sodium dichloroacetate(DCA)to a LP diet on nitrogen balance and amino acid metabolism in the portal-drained viscera(PDV)and liver of pigs.To measure nitrogen balance,18 barrows(40±1.0 kg)were fed one of three diets(n=6 per group):18%crude protein(CP,control),13.5%CP(LP),and 13.5%CP+100 mg DCA/kg dry matter(LP-DCA).To measure amino acid metabolism in the PDV and liver,15 barrows(40±1.0 kg)were randomly assigned to one of the three diets(n=5 per group).Four essential amino acids(Lys,Met,Thr,and Trp)were added to the LP diets such that these had amino acid levels comparable to those of the control diet.Results:The LP-DCA diet reduced nitrogen excretion in pigs relative to that of pigs fed the control diet(P<0.05),without any negative effects on nitrogen retention(P>0.05).There were no differences between the control and LP-DCA groups with respect to amino acid supply to the liver and extra-hepatic tissues in pigs(P>0.05).The net release of ammonia into the portal vein and production rate of urea in the liver of pigs fed the LP-DCA diet was reduced relative to that of pigs fed the control and LP diets(P<0.05).Conclusion:The results indicated that addition of DCA to a LP diet can efficiently reduce nitrogen excretion in pigs and maximize the supply of amino acids to the liver and extra-hepatic tissues. | Weizhong Sun Yunxia Li Zhiru Tang Huiyuan Chen Ke Wan Rui An Liuting Wu Zhihong Sun | 2020 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2020,11,3: | 2 |

The structural and magnetic properties of the films at room temperature were investigated as function of Co layer thickness. X-ray diffraction (XRD) profiles show Co nanograins are formed as the hexagonal-close-packed (hcp) structure. | 4 | Infrared LSS-Target Detection Via Adaptive TCAIE-LGM Smoothing and Pixel-Based Background Subtraction显示文摘Infrared small target detection is a significant and challenging topic for daily security. This paper proposes a novel model to detect LSS-target (low altitude, slow speed, and small target) under the complicated background. Firstly, the fundamental constituents of an infrared image including the complexity and entropy are calculated, which are invoked as adaptive control parameters of smoothness. Secondly, the adaptive L0 gradient minimization smoothing based on texture complexity and information entropy (TCAIE-LGM) is proposed in order to remove noises and suppress low-amplitude details in infrared image abstraction. Finally, difference of Gaussian (DoG) map is incorporated into the pixel-based adaptive segmentation (PBAS) background modeling algorithm, which can differ LSS-target from the sophisticated background. | 5 | Effect of Ti layer thickness on microstructure and magnetic properties of Ti/Co/Ti films显示文摘TiCoTi granular films were prepared by DC facing-target magnetron sputtering system onto glass substrates and subsequently in situ annealing in vacuum. Structural of Ti (t nm)/Co (40 nm)/Ti (t nm) films were investigated in detail, which shows that the majority Co nanograins are formed as the hexagonal-close-packed (HCP) structure. Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and scanning probe microscope (SPM) were applied to study the magnetic properties, morphologies and domain structures of these samples. It has been found that the structure and magnetic properties of the Ti/Co/Ti films depend strongly on the Ti layer thickness. The out-of-plane coercivities (Hc) of the film is maximum about 78.8 kA·m-1 when t=5 nm with annealing at 300 ℃; the distributing of grains of the sample is uniformity; and the average size of particles is about 13 nm. | 6 | Science with the 2.5-meter Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST)显示文摘The Wide Field Survey Telescope(WFST) is a dedicated photometric surveying facility being built jointly by University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) and the Purple Mountain Observatory(PMO). It is equipped with a 2.5-meter diameter primary mirror, an active optics system, and a mosaic CCD camera with 0.73 gigapixels on the primary focal plane for highquality image capture over a 6.5-square-degree field of view. The installation of WFST near the summit of Saishiteng mountain in the Lenghu region is scheduled in summer of 2023, and the operation is planned to start three months later. WFST will scan the northern sky in four optical bands(u, g, r and i) at cadences from hourly/daily in the deep high-cadence survey(DHS) program, to semi-weekly in the wide field survey(WFS) program. During a photometric night, a nominal 30 s exposure in the WFS program will reach a depth of 22.27, 23.32, 22.84, and 22.31(AB magnitudes) in these four bands, respectively, allowing for the detection of a tremendous amount of transients in the low-z universe and a systematic investigation of the variability of Galactic and extragalactic objects. In the DHS program, intranight 90 s exposures as deep as 23(u) and 24 mag(g), in combination with target of opportunity follow-ups, will provide a unique opportunity to explore energetic transients in demand for high sensitivities, including the electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational wave events, supernovae within a few hours of their explosions,tidal disruption events and fast, luminous optical transients even beyond redshift of unity. In addition, the final 6-year co-added images, anticipated to reach g■25.8 mag in WFS or 1.5 mags deeper in DHS, will be of fundamental importance to general Galactic and extragalactic science. The highly uniform legacy surveys of WFST will serve as an indispensable complement to those of the Vera C. The waveguide was fabricated in an Nd:YAG crystal with the cooperation of ultrafast laser writing and ion irradiation. The laser oscillation in the Nd:YAG waveguide is ultrasensitive to the external environment of the waveguide. Even a weak disturbance leads to a large variation of the output power of the laser.According to this feature, an Nd:YAG waveguide coated with graphene and WSe_2 layers is used as substrate for the microfluidic channel. When the microflow crosses the Nd:YAG waveguide, the laser oscillation in the waveguide is disturbed and induces fluctuation of the output laser. In the rod structure, Ni(Ⅱ) intercalates in the defective perovskite-type WO_(2.72) and is stabilized. The Ni_xWO_(2.72) NRs show the x-dependent electrocatalysis for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER) in 0.1 M KOH with Ni_(0.78)WO_(2.72) being the most efficient, even outperforming the commercial Ir-catalyst. Scanning probe microscope (SPM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were applied to study the magnetic properties and microstructure. AFM images show that small and uniform grains and some clusters appear with the increase of Ni thickness, also MFM images show that the size of domain first decreases and then increases. The coercivity reaches the maximum 48 kA·m-1 at t=30 nm. The XRD profiles show stronger fcc (111) orientation peak of Ni and weak hcp structure peaks of Ni3Ti.
