1Characteristics of Vibration and Sound Radiation of Metro Resilient Wheel显示文摘Resilient wheels are extensively used in urban rail transit, especially for tramway systems, owing to its advantages in noise reduction. A new type of resilient wheel for a metro is designed, and its characteristics of vibration and sound radiation, including the rolling noise of a resilient single wheel coupled with a track, are studied in this paper. A two-step research is presented. Firstly, laboratory experiments were conducted to obtain the vibration response of the designed resilient wheel under the radial excitation on its tread. Secondly, the rolling noise model of the resilient wheel coupled with a slab track used in a metro line is developed. The wheel model is based on the 3 D finite elementand boundary element methods and verified by using the experimental results obtained from the laboratory. The track vibration model is based on the wavenumber finite element method, and the track sound radiation is calculatedby using an e cient frequency-domain Rayleigh method. The interaction of the resilient wheel and the slab track is analyzed considering the measured wheel/rail roughness of the metro. The contribution of the resilient wheel to the reduction of wheel/rail system noise is analyzed. The results show that the resilient wheel can e ectively reduce the wheel/rail rolling noise by approximately 2 dB(A) to 3 dB(A), mainly because the radiated noise by the rail is reduced. 2Loss of Wip1 aggravates brain injury after ischaemia/reperfusion by overactivating microglia显示文摘Background and purpose The inflammatory response mediated by microglia/macrophages is closely related to cerebral ischaemia/reperfusion injury.Wild-type p53-induced protein phosphatase 1(Wip1),a serine/threonine phosphatase,is expressed in various tissues.A growing number of reports have suggested that Wip1 is a negative regulator of inflammation in peripheral tissue;however,its role in the central nervous system(CNS)remains unclear.This study aimed to clarify whether Wip1 can inhibit CNS inflammation by regulating microglia/macrophage functions after ischaemic injury.Methods A model of middle cerebral artery occlusion and reperfusion was established in mice.CNS inflammation was simulated by lipopolysaccharide treatment of primary microglia.Laser speckle imaging was used to monitor regional cerebral blood flow.Behavioural outcomes were assessed with a TreadScan gait analysis system.TTC staining was used to evaluate the infarct volume,and western blotting and immunofluorescence staining were applied to detect the phenotypical transformation of microglia.ELISA was performed to detect the levels of inflammatory factors.Results Wip1 expression was increased after ischaemia/reperfusion.Wip1-knockout(KO)mice displayed more severe brain injury than wild-type mice,as indicated by aggravated motor dysfunction,greater brain infarct volumes and higher expression of inflammatory cytokines(interleukin-6 and tumour necrosis factor alpha)in the brain.We also found that Wip1 depletion increased microglial/macrophage activation in both in vitro and in vivo models,which all showed activation of microglia/macrophages.Lentivirus-Ppm1d reversed the injury induced by Wip1-KO.Conclusions Our results suggest that Wip1 may inhibit neuroinflammation by inhibiting microglial/macrophage activation after brain ischaemia/reperfusion injury.Feng Yan Xiang Cheng Ming Zhao Shenghui Gong Ying Han Liping Ding Di Wu Yumin Luo Wei Zuo Lingling Zhu Ming Fan Xunming Ji 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,3:4

6Development of P genome-specific SNPs and their application in tracing Agropyron cristatum introgressions in common wheat显示文摘As an important wild relative of wheat, Agropyron cristatum has been successfully used for wheat improvement. Currently, a few useful agronomic traits of A. cristatum, such as high grain number per spike and resistance to diseases, have been transferred into common wheat.However, the effective detection of small A. cristatum segmental introgressions in common wheat is still difficult. The objective of this study was to identify A. cristatum-specific single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) for the detection of small alien segments in wheat. The transcriptome sequences of A. cristatum were aligned against wheat coding DNA sequences(CDS) for SNP calling. As a result, we discovered a total of 167,613 putative SNPs specific to the P genome of A. cristatum compared with the common wheat genomes. Among 230 selected SNPs with functional annotations related to inflorescence development and stress resistance,68 were validated as P genome-specific SNPs in multiple wheat backgrounds using Kompetitive Allele Specific PCR(KASP) assays. Among them, 55 SNPs were assigned to six homoeologous groups of the P genome using wheat-A. cristatum addition lines, and 6 P-specific SNP markers were further physically mapped on different segments of chromosome 6 P in 6 P translocation lines. The P genome-specific SNPs were also validated by Sanger sequencing and used to detect the P chromatin in wheat-A. cristatum cryptic introgression lines. Two SNP markers(Unigene20217-182 and Unigene20307-1420) were detected in two wheat-A. cristatum introgression lines that showed enhanced grain number per spike and high resistance to powdery mildew. 11Introgression of chromosome 6PL terminal segment from Agropyron cristatum to increase both grain number and grain weight in wheat显示文摘Agropyron cristatum(2n=4x=28,PPPP),which harbours many high-yield and disease-resistance genes,is a promising donor for wheat improvement.Narrow genetic diversity and the trade-off between grain weight and grain number have become bottlenecks for increasing grain yield in wheat.In this study,a novel translocation line,WAT650l,was derived from the chromosome 6P addition line 4844–12,which can simultaneously increase both grain number per spike(GNS)and thousand-grain weight(TGW).Cytological analysis and molecular marker analysis revealed that WAT650l was a 5BL.5BS-6PL(bin 12–17)translocation line.Assessment of agronomic traits and analysis of the BC4F2 and BC5F2 populations suggested that the 6PL terminal chromosome segment in WAT650l resulted in increased grain number per spike(average increased by 14.07 grains),thousand-grain weight(average increased by 4.31 g),flag leaf length,plant height,spikelet number per spike and kernel number per spikelet during the two growing seasons of 2020–2021 and 2021–2022.Additionally,the increased GNS locus and high-TGW locus of WAT650l were mapped to the bins 16–17 and 12–13,respectively,on chromosome 6PL by genetic population analysis of three translocation lines.In summary,we provide a valuable germplasm resource for broadening the genetic base of wheat and overcoming the negative relationship between GNS and TGW in wheat breeding.Yida Lin Shenghui Zhou Xuezhong Liang Bing Han Junli Yang Baojin Guo Jinpeng Zhang Haiming Han Weihua Liu Xinming Yang Xiuquan Li Lihui Li 2023The Crop Journal2023,11,3:1

13Water-soluble boron carbon oxynitride dots with excellent solid-state fluorescence and ultralong room-temperature phosphorescence显示文摘Developing metal-free and long lifetime room-temperature phosphorescence(RTP)materials has received tremendous interest due to their numerous potential applications,of which stable triplet-excited state is the core challenge.Here,boron carbon oxynitride(BCNO)dots,emitting stable blue fluorescence and green RTP,are reported for the first time.The obtained BCNO dots exhibit an unexpected ultralong RTP lifetime of 1.57 s,lasting over 8 s to naked eyes.The effective doping of carbon and oxygen elements in boron nitride(BN)actually provides a small energy gap between singlet and triplet states,facilitating the intersystem crossing(ISC)and populating of triplet excitons.The formation of compact cores via crystallization and effective inter-/intra-dot hydrogen bonds further stabilizes the excited triplet states and reduces quenching of RTP by oxygen at room temperature.Based on the water-soluble feature of BCNO dots,a novel advanced security ink is developed toward anti-counterfeiting tag and confidential information encryption.This study extends BCNO dots to rarely exploited phosphorescence fields and also provides a facile strategy to prepare ultralong lifetime metal-free RTP materials.Shenghui Han Gang Lian Xiaoliang Zeng Zhaozhen Cao Qilong Wang Deliang Cui Ching-Ping Wong 2020Nano Research2020,13,12:0
14Chromosome 5P of Agropyron cristatum induces chromosomal translocation by disturbing homologous chromosome pairing in a common wheat background显示文摘Wide hybridization is a strategy for broadening the genetic basis of wheat. Because an efficient method for inducing wheat–alien chromosome translocations will allow producing useful germplasm, it is desirable to discover new genes that induce chromosomal variation. In this study, chromosome 5P from A.cristatum was shown to induce many types of chromosomal structural variation in a common wheat background, including nonhomoeologous chromosome translocations, as revealed by genomic in situ hybridization, fluorescence in situ hybridization, and DNA marker analysis. Aberrant meiosis was associated with chromosomal structural variation, and aberrant meiotic behavior was observed in wheat–A.cristatum 5P monosomic and disomic addition lines, suggesting that the effect of chromosome 5P was independent of the number of chromosome 5P copies. Chromosome 5P disturbed homologous chromosome pairing at pachytene stage in a common wheat background, resulting in a high frequency of univalent formation and reduced crossing over. Thirteen genes involved in DNA repair or chromatin remodeling, including RAD52-like and MSH6 genes, were differentially expressed(upregulated) in wheat–A. cristatum 5P addition lines according to transcriptome analysis, implicating chromosome 5P in the process of meiotic double-strand break repair. 15Heavy metals in sediments of Yellow Sea and East China Sea: Chemical speciation,distribution,influence factor,and contamination显示文摘Metal species and the degree of environmental pollution are related to the hydrogen sulfide(H_(2)S),an important product of early diagenesis that can react with metals to form stable compounds.To investigate the eff ects of H_(2)S to metals and evaluate metal environment eff ect in the sediments of the East China Sea(ECS)and Yellow Sea(YS),geochemical characteristic and spatial distribution of nine heavy metals and H_(2)S profile were studied.Higher H_(2)S content and lower metal content was observed in the sediments 10 cm in depth in the North Yellow Sea and the west coast of South Korea.The pollution load index(I_(pl))indicates that the southern coast of Shandong Peninsula underwent moderate pollution(I_(pl)=1)of heavy metals and no heavy metal pollution appeared in other areas(I_(pl)<1).To some extents,the ecological risk of Cd and As enrichment was moderately severe in all stations.The chance of heavy metal combination to be toxic in ECS and YS during summer was 21%.In addition,correlation between H_(2)S content and metals in both solid and porewater phases was obvious,corroborating important eff ect of H_(2)S on metal distribution.Moreover,H_(2)S could aff ect the spatial distributions of heavy metals in porewater directly and be indicative of potential biological eff ects of combined toxicant groups in the study region.Miao ZHAO Shenghui ZHANG Haitao HAN Dawei PAN 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,4:0
16Particle Size of Barchan Dune in Hexi Desert Area and Its Relationship with Wind Speed显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to study the particle size characteristics of barchan dune and its formation mechanism in Hexi desert area of Gansu. [Method] Through particle size measurement and wind speed flow field observation of dune,the particle size differences of various sampling plots and various parts of dune were analyzed using analysis of variance,and the relationship between particle size and wind speed was analyzed using correlation coefficient method. [Result]( 1) Barchan dune and barchan chains in Hexi desert area of Gansu were mainly consisted of fine sands and medium sands at the depth of 0- 5 cm: the sand particle in Gulang desert area was fine,which had significant difference with that in Jinchang,Linze,Jinta and Minqin desert areas.( 2) Medium sands gradually increased from the bottom of windward slope to the dune peak in both barchan dune and barchan chain. On the windward slope of barchan dune,fine sands gradually increased from the middle to both sides,while coarse sands and medium sands gradually decreased. On the windward slope of barchan chain,fine sands first decreased then increased from the middle to NE side,but first increased then decreased from the middle to SW side.( 3) In terms of particle size,there were great variations between fine sands and coarse sands; for dune parts,there were great variations between dune peak and leeward slope toe; for dune types,the variation of fine sands in various parts of barchan chain was greater than that of barchan dune,while differentiation degree of medium sands and fine sands was greater than that of barchan dune. 18Building better solid-state batteries with silicon-based anodes显示文摘Silicon(Si)-based solid-state batteries(Si-SSBs)are attracting tremendous attention because of their high energy density and unprecedented safety,making them become promising candidates for next-generation energy storage systems.Nevertheless,the commercialization of Si-SSBs is significantly impeded by enormous challenges including large volume variation,severe interfacial problems,elusive fundamental mechanisms,and unsatisfied electrochemical performance.Besides,some unknown electrochemical processes in Si-based anode,solid-state electrolytes(SSEs),and Si-based anode/SSE interfaces are still needed to be explored,while an in-depth understanding of solid–solid interfacial chemistry is insufficient in Si-SSBs.This review aims to summarize the current scientific and technological advances and insights into tackling challenges to promote the deployment of Si-SSBs.First,the differences between various conventional liquid electrolyte-dominated Si-based lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)with Si-SSBs are discussed.Subsequently,the interfacial mechanical contact model,chemical reaction properties,and charge transfer kinetics(mechanical–chemical kinetics)between Si-based anode and three different SSEs(inorganic(oxides)SSEs,organic–inorganic composite SSEs,and inorganic(sulfides)SSEs)are systemically reviewed,respectively.Moreover,the progress for promising inorganic(sulfides)SSE-based Si-SSBs on the aspects of electrode constitution,three-dimensional structured electrodes,and external stack pressure is highlighted,respectively.Finally,future research directions and prospects in the development of Si-SSBs are proposed.Zhefei Sun Quanzhi Yin Haoyu Chen Miao Li Shenghui Zhou Sifan Wen Jianhai Pan Qizheng Zheng Bing Jiang Haodong Liu Kangwoon Kim Jie Li Xiang Han Yan-Bing He Li Zhang Meicheng Li Qiaobao Zhang 2023Interdisciplinary Materials2023,2,4:0
