| 1 | Synthesis of monolithic carbon aerogels with high mechanical strength via ambient pressure drying without solvent exchange显示文摘A simple,fast and cost-effective method for monolithic carbon aerogels(CAs) preparation was proposed through sol-gel polycondensation of resorcinol with fo rmaldehyde in a basic aqueous solution followed by ambient pressure drying without solvent exchange,and carbonization.The microstructure and network strength of CAs were tailored by adju sting the catalyst concentration([resorcinol]/[sodium carbonate] in the range of 300-2000),water content([deionized water]/[resorcinol] equals to 17 and 24,respectively),and gelation temperature(Tgel in the range of 30-90℃).Resultantly,the CAs with a wide range of density(0.30-1.13 g/cm3),high specific surface area(465-616 m2/g),high compressive strength(6.5-147.4 MPa)and low thermal conductivity(0.065-0.120 W·m-1 K-1) were obtained in this work.Moreover,the largesized CAs(100×100×20 mm3) can also be prepared by this method since the formed robust skeleton network can resist shrinkage/collapse of pore structure and prevent cracking during drying.The improved mechanical strength and monolithic forming abilities could be mainly attributed to the uniform arrangement of carbon particles and pores,fine particle size,abundant network structure and enhanced particle neck. | Zhi Yang Jian Li Xiaojing Xu Shengyang Pang Chenglong Hu Penglei Guo Sufang Tang Hui-Ming Cheng | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,15: | 4 |
| 2 | Deep feature extraction and motion representation for satellite video scene classification显示文摘Satellite video scene classification(SVSC)is an advanced topic in the remote sensing field,which refers to determine the video scene categories from satellite videos.SVSC is an important and fundamental step for satellite video analysis and understanding,which provides priors for the presence of objects and dynamic events.In this paper,a two-stage framework is proposed to extract spatial features and motion features for SVSC.More specifically,the first stage is designed to extract spatial features for satellite videos.Representative frames are firstly selected based on the blur detection and spatial activity of satellite videos.Then the fine-tuned visual geometry group network(VGG-Net)is transferred to extract spatial features based on spatial content.The second stage is designed to build motion representation for satellite videos.The motion representation of moving targets in satellite videos is first built by the second temporal principal component of principal component analysis(PCA).Second,features from the first fully connected layer of VGG-Net are used as high-level spatial representation for moving targets.Third,a small network of long and short term memory(LSTM)is further designed for encoding temporal information.Two-stage features respectively characterize spatial and temporal patterns of satellite scenes,which are finally fused for SVSC.A satellite video dataset is built for video scene classification,including 7209 video segments and covering 8 scene categories.These satellite videos are from Jilin-1 satellites and Urthecast.The experimental results show the efficiency of our proposed framework for SVSC. | Yanfeng GU Huan LIU Tengfei WANG Shengyang LI Guoming GAO | 2020 | Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,4: | 4 |

| 6 | High Initial Reversible Capacity and Long Life of Ternary SnO_(2)-Co-carbon Nanocomposite Anodes for Lithium-Ion Batteries显示文摘The two major limitations in the application of SnO_2 for lithium?ion battery(LIB) anodes are the large volume variations of SnO_2 during repeated lithiation/delithiation processes and a large irreversible capacity loss during the first cycle, which can lead to a rapid capacity fade and unsatisfactory initial Coulombic e ciency(ICE). To overcome these limitations, we developed composites of ultrafine SnO_2 nanoparticles and in situ formed Co(CoSn) nanocrystals embedded in an N?doped carbon matrix using a Co?based metal–organic framework(ZIF?67). The formed Co additives and structural advantages of the carbon?confined SnO_2/Co nanocomposite e ectively inhibited Sn coarsening in the lithiated SnO_2 and mitigated its structural degradation while facilitating fast electronic transport and facile ionic di usion. As a result, the electrodes demonstrated high ICE (82.2%), outstanding rate capability(~ 800 mAh g^(-1) at a high current density of 5 A g^(-1)), and long?term cycling stability(~ 760 mAh g^(-1) after 400 cycles at a current density of 0.5 A g^(-1)). This study will be helpful in developing high?performance Si(Sn)?based oxide, Sn/Sb?based sulfide, or selenide electrodes for LIBs. | 7 | Yizhi Xingnao prescription improves the cognitive function of patients after a transient ischemic attack显示文摘Patients with mild cognitive impairment after a transient ischemic attack were included in this study. They were treated with Yizhi Xingnao prescription, ergoloid mesylates or aspirin for 60 days. Evaluation using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale showed that cognitive function was significantly improved in all patients, especially after the combined treatment of Yizhi Xingnao and aspirin. The scores from the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale were improved overall and the effective treatment rate was as high as 79%, which was higher than patients treated with a combination of ergoloid mesylates and aspirin, or aspirin alone. In the central nervous system, apolipoprotein C2 plays an important role in the catabolism of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins. Studies into the exact regulatory mechanism of mouse apolipoprotein C2 expression have not been reported. In this study, seven luciferase expression vectors, which contained potential mouse apolipoprotein C2 gene promoters, were constructed and co-transfected with pRL-TK into HEK293T cells to investigate apolipoprotein C2 promoter activity. Luciferase assays indicated that the apolipoprotein C2 promoter region was mainly located in the +104 bp to +470 bp region. The activity of the different lengths of apolipoprotein C2 promoter region varied. | 17 | Deposition kinetics and mechanism of pyrocarbon for electromagnetic-coupling chemical vapor infiltration process显示文摘Although the electromagnetic-coupling chemical vapor infiltration(E-CVI)has been proven of a highefficiency technique for producing carbon fiber reinforced pyrocarbon(Py C)matrix(C/C)composites,a deep understanding of the deposition kinetics and mechanism of Py C matrix is still lack.In this work,a deposition model with uniform electric field but gradient magnetic field was set up by using unidirectional carbon fiber bundles as the substrates to investigate the deposition kinetics and mechanism.Meanwhile,the polarizability,and the chemical adsorption and dehydrogenation barriers of hydrocarbon were simulated based on the density functional theory(DFT)and the Climb-image nudged elastic band method,respectively.The E-CVI process exhibited extremely high Py C deposition rates of 8.7,11.5,16.5 and 22.7 nm/s at 700,750,800 and 850℃,respectively,together with a significantly low apparent activation energy of 57.9 k J/mol within the first 5 min.The Py C deposited at different temperatures with different time shows a smooth laminar structure with low coherent length and graphitization degree.The theoretical calculation and simulation results indicated that the electrons existing on the carbon fibers and the accelerated motion of radicals with preferred orientation forced by the derived magnetic field have reduced the energy barrier for the deposition process,thereby resulting in low apparent activation energy and high Py C deposition rate.The results of this work may shed a light on how to better direct the preparation of C/C composites by E-CVI process with high quality and efficiency. | Chenglong Hu Rida Zhao Sajjad Ali Yuanhong Wang Shengyang Pang Jian Li Sufang Tang | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,6: | 1 |
| 18 | Reservoir characteristics and genetic differences between the second and fourth members of Sinian Dengying Formation in northern Sichuan Basin and its surrounding areas显示文摘This study investigated the characteristics and genesis of reservoirs in the 2^(nd) and 4^(th) members of Sinian Dengying Formation in northern Sichuan and its surrounding areas, on the basis of outcrop, drilling cores and thin section observation and geochemical analysis. The reservoirs of 2^(nd) member are distributed in the middle part of the stratum. The reservoir quality is controlled by supergene karst and the distribution of mound-shoal complex. The bedded elongated isolated algal framework solution-cave and the residual 'grape-lace' cave, which are partially filled with multi-stage dolosparite, constituted the main reservoir space of the 2^(nd) member. There is no asphalt distribution in the pores. The pore connectivity is poor, and the porosity and permeability of the reservoir is relatively low. The reservoirs of 4^(th) member were distributed in the upper and top part of the stratum. The reservoir quality is controlled by burial dissolution and the distribution of mound-shoal complex. The bedded algal framework solution-pores or caves, intercrystalline pores and intercrystalline dissolved pores constituted the main reservoir space of the 4^(th) member. It's partially filled with asphalt and quartz, without any dolosparite fillings in the pores and caves. The pore connectivity is good. Most of the 4^(th) member reservoirs had medium-low porosity and low permeability, and, locally, medium-high porosity and medium permeability. Affected by the development of mound-shoal complex and heterogeneous dissolution, the platform margin along Ningqiang, Guangyuan, Jiange and Langzhong is the most favorable region for reservoir development.
