4Different manual manipulations and electrical parameters exert different therapeutic effects of acupuncture显示文摘Acupuncture is an important component part of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM). The therapeutic effects may be influenced by a variety of factors.Stimulation quantity is one of the factors for achieving good therapeutic effects in acupuncture practice. With the development of science and technology, besides the influence of manual manipulations, the parameters adopted for electroacupuncture have become the benchmark of stimulation quantity. This study, by referring to the related literatures, is designed to explore the influence of manual manipulations and electrical parameters on therapeutic effects of acupuncture. The results from the present study show that different manualmanipulations and electrical parameters may exert different therapeutic effects of acupuncture, which are closely related to the characteristics of diseases.Different manual manipulations and electrical parameters should be adopted according to syndrome differentiation of TCM. 5Influence of puerarin,paeoniflorin,and menthol on structure and barrier function of tight junctions in MDCK and MDCK-MDR1 Cells显示文摘Objective:In this study,the influence of puerarin,paeoniflorin,and menthol on the structure and barrier function of tight junctions(TJs)in MadineDarby canine kidney epithelial(MDCK)and MDCK-multi-drug resistance 1(MDR1)cells was evaluated to determine the mechanisms by which the drugs cross the bloodebrain barrier(BBB).Method:Cells were treated with puerarin,paeoniflorin,and menthol followed by immunohistochemical staining with occludin,claudin-1,and F-actin.The cells were then observed using laser-scanning confocal microscopy.Average optical density(AOD)of the immunofluorescence images of the proteins were analyzed using ImageJ software while Transepithelial electrical resistance(TEER)was measured using an epithelial voltohmmeter.Results:Confocal microscopy revealed that puerarin-and paeoniflorin-treated tight junction proteins were conspicuous while menthol suppressed their expression.Correspondingly,AOD values of cells treated with puerarin or paeoniflorin,or both showed no difference compared to the control group(P>.05)while the menthol group value was downregulated.In 3 h,TEER of cells not treated with menthol were similar to the control group,while treatment with menthol significantly decreased TEER value(P<.05).In addition,application of menthol decreased TEER in MDCK cells earlier than in MDCK-MDR1 cells.Conclusion:Menthol but not puerarin and paeoniflorin may enhance paracellular transport and improve drug penetration of the BBB by disrupting the structure and,thereby,weakening the barrier function of TJs.Lin Zhang Shouying Du Yang Lu Chang Liu Huichao Wu Bing Yang Jie Bai Pengyue Li 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2015,2,2:4
6Immobilization of carbonic anhydrase for facilitated CO2 capture and separation显示文摘Carbonic anhydrase(CA)as a typical metalloenzyme in biological system can accelerate the hydration/dehydration of carbon dioxide(CO2,the major components of greenhouse gases),which performer with high selectivity,environmental friendliness and superior efficiency.However,the free form of CA is quite expensive(~RMB 3000/100 mg),unstable,and non-reusable as the free form of CA is not easy for recovery from the reaction environment,which severely limits its large-scale industrial applications.The immobilization may solve these problems at the same time.In this context,many efforts have been devoted to improving the chemical and thermal stabilities of CA through immobilization strategy.Very recently,a wide range of available inorganic,organic and hybrid compounds have been explored as carrier materials for CA immobilization,which could not only improve the tolerance of CA in hazardous environments,but also improve the efficiency and recovery to reduce the cost of large-scale application of CA.Several excellent reviews about immobilization methods and application potential of CA have been published.By contrast,in our review,we stressed on the way to better retain the biocatalytic activity of immobilized CA system based on different carrier materials and to solve the problems facing in practical operations well.The concluding remarks are presented with a perspective on constructing efficient CO2 conversion systems through rational combining CA and advanced carrier materials.Zhenhua Wu Yan Nan Yang Zhao Xueying Wang Shouying Huang Jiafu Shi 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,11:3
7Anti-arthritic effects of microneedling with bee venom gel显示文摘Objective:To combine with transdermal drug delivery using microneedle to simulate the bee venom therapy to evaluate the permeation of bee venom gel.Methods:In this study,the sodium urate and LPS were used on rats and mice to construct the model.Bee venom gelemicroneedle combination effect on the model is to determine the role of microneedle gel permeation by observing inflammation factors.Results:Compared with the model group,the bee venom gelemicroneedle combination group can reduce the level of serum nitric oxide of the acute gouty inflammation model caused by sodium urate,and on LPS induced mouse model of acute inflammation effect and the micro.Conclusions:Bee venom can significantly suppress the occurrence of gouty arthritis inflammation in rats and mice LPS inflammatory reaction.Choose the 750 mm microneedle with 10N force on skin about 3 minutes,bee venom can play the optimal role,and the anti-inflammatory effect is obvious.Microneedles can promote the percutaneous absorption of the active macromolecules bee venom gel.Mengdi Zhao Jie Bai Yang Lu Shouying Du Kexin Shang Pengyue Li Liu Yang Boyu Dong Ning Tan 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2016,3,4:2
8Enhancing the CO_(2) methanation activity of Ni/CeO_(2) via activation treatment-determined metal-support interaction显示文摘The metal-support interaction is of critical importance to enhance the catalytic activity and selectivity.However,it is still challenging to construct an appropriate interaction starting from the catalyst fabrication and/or activation.We herein established low-temperature treatment of Ni^(2+)ions impregnated on ceria in reductive atmosphere and reduction-oxidation cycles as effective approachs to regulate the metal-support interaction and raise the catalytic performance in the CO_(2)methanation.The proposed construction approach yielded Ni/Ce O_(2)that displayed highly dispersed Ni nanoparticles in contact with Ce O_(2)(111)and(100)facet,higher density of surface oxygen vacancies and larger amounts of weak basic sites relative to the reference samples,which increased the capacity for H2 and CO_(2)adsorption/activation.The interaction resulted in appreciably(2-3 fold)higher activity in the CO_(2)methanation with maintaining almost full selectivity to CH4 and high stability.Coverage of Ni surface by Ce O_(2)-x thin layer as a typical structure of strong metal-support interaction resulting from high-temperature reduction,can be alleviated via reduction-oxidation cycles.We also demonstrate the activation treatment-determined metalsupport interaction effect can generally extend to(Ti O_(2)and Zr O_(2))supported Ni catalysts.Shuangxi Lin Ziwen Hao Jindong Shen Xiao Chang Shouying Huang Maoshuai Li Xinbin Ma 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,8:2
9Oxycarbonylation of methanol over modified CuY: Enhanced activity by improving accessibility of active sites显示文摘CuY zeolite is a promising catalyst in the field of manufacturing dimethyl carbonate(DMC) through oxidative carbonylation of methanol. Cu^+ exchanged with Br?nsted acid sites are supposed to be active for this reaction. However, the location of Cu^+ in small cages can not interact with reactants because of steric hindrance, which lead to a waste of Cu species. In this work, NH_4F solution was used to modify the pore structure of zeolite Y by etching the framework T atoms. Physical and chemical adsorption of probe molecules with different size are used to determine the changes of porosity as well as the accessibility of Cu^+ sites. At an optimized etching time, the small cages were opened with maintained zeolitic framework. 10Does Security of Land Operational Rights Matter for the Improvement of Agricultural Production Efficiency under the Collective Ownership in China?显示文摘Under the'separation of three rights'policy,the impact of security of land operationalrights on agricultural production efficiency has attracted much attention in recentyears.Data envelopment analysis and mediation effect analysis were applied to 888family farms run by new-type agricultural operators from Songjiang to identify themechanism of the effect of land operational rights security on agricultural productionefficiency through long-term investment.The results show that greater security of landoperational rights generally increased agricultural production efficiency.Approximately37.94 percent of the impact could be explained by long-term investment.The resultsalso indicate that significant heterogeneity exists in the effect of land operational rightssecurity on agricultural production efficiency at various levels of the family farms'efficiency distributions.lt is suggested that government should legalize land operationalrights and give them a status equal to those of households'contractual rights and landownership rights in China's future land tenure reform.Xianqing Ji Shouying Liu Jianan Yan Youyi Li 2021China & World Economy2021,29,1:2
11Optimal design and effectiveness evaluation for inerter-based devices on mitigating seismic responses of base isolated structures显示文摘The optimal design and effectiveness of three control systems,tuned viscous mass damper(TVMD),tuned inerter damper(TID)and tuned mass damper(TMD),on mitigating the seismic responses of base isolated structures,were systematically studied.First,the seismic responses of the base isolated structure with each control system under white noise excitation were obtained.Then,the structural parameter optimizations of the TVMD,TID and TMD were conducted by using three different objectives.The results show that the three control systems were all effective in minimizing the root mean square value of seismic responses,including the base shear of the BIS,the absolute acceleration of structural SDOF,and the relative displacement between the base isolation floor and the foundation.Finally,considering the superstructure as a structural MDOF,a series of time history analyses were performed to investigate the effectiveness and activation sensitivity of the three control systems under far field and near fault seismic excitations.The results show that the effectiveness of TID and TMD with optimized parameters on mitigating the seismic responses of base isolated structures increased as the mass ratio increases,and the effectiveness of TID was always better than TMD with the same mass ratio.The TVMD with a lower mass ratio was more efficient in reducing the seismic response than the TID and TMD.Furthermore,the TVMD,when compared with TMD and TID,had better activation sensitivity and a smaller stroke.Li Yafeng Li Shouying Chen Zhengqing 2021Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2021,20,4:2
12Controllable Fe/HCS catalysts in the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis: Effects of crystallization time显示文摘The Fischer--Tropsch synthesis(FTS)con-tinues to be an attractive alternative for producing a broad range of fuels and chemicals through the conversion of syngas(H2 and CO),which can be derived from various sources,such as coal,natural gas,and biomass.Among iron carbides,Fe2C,as an active phase,has barely been studied due to its thermodynamic instability.Here,we fabricated a series of Fe2C embedded in hollow carbon sphere(HCS)catalysts.By varying the crystallization time,the shell thickness of the HCS was manipulated,which significantly influenced the catalytic performance in the FTS.To investigate the relationship between the geometric structure of the HCS and the physic-chemical properties of Fe species,transmission electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,N2 physical adsorption,X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy,hydrogen temperature-programmed reduction,Raman spectroscopy,and Mossbauer spectro-scopy techniques were employed to characterize the catalysts before and after the reaction.Evidently,a suitable thickness of the carbon layer was beneficial for enhancing the catalytic activity in the FTS due to its high porosity,appropriate electronic environment,and relatively high Fe2C content.Yifei Wang Shouying Huang Xinsheng Teng Hongyu Wang Jian Wang Qiao Zhao Yue Wang Xinbin Ma 2020Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2020,14,5:2
