| 1 | The interaction of CpEBF1 with CpMADSs is involved in cell wall degradation during papaya fruit ripening显示文摘Ethylene plays a pivotal role in climacteric fruit ripening;whereas 1-MCP,a non-toxic antagonist of ethylene,prevents ethylene-dependent responses and fruit ripening.In this study,a short-term treatment(1 h)with 400 nL L^(−1)1-MCP delayed the ripening of harvested papaya.However,long-term application of 1-MCP(400 nL L^(−1),16 h)resulted in abnormal fruit ripening,with the fruits exhibiting normal yellowing without softening,significantly higher cellulose and lignin contents,and intact cell walls(CW).Furthermore,we found that long-term treatment with 1-MCP significantly inhibited the expression of CpEBF1,an EIN3-binding F-box-1 gene.A protein interaction analysis using yeast two-hybrid,BiFC and GST pull-down assays showed that CpEBF1 interacts with the CpMADS1/3 and CpEIL1 proteins.The interaction of CpEBF1 with CpMADS1/3 further activated the activities of CW-degradation gene promoters.Subcellular localization showed that these proteins were localized in the nucleus.Additionally,the expression levels of CpMADS1/3,CpEIL1,and several CW-degradation-related genes were significantly downregulated by long-term 1-MCP treatment.Therefore,we propose that the inhibited expression of CpEBF1 and CpMADS1/3 resulted in the repressed activation of CW-degradation-related genes via their interaction,thereby resulting in fruit softening disorders. | Xiaochun Ding Xiaoyang Zhu Lanlan Ye Shuangling Xiao Zhenxian Wu Weixin Chen Xueping Li | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 7 |
| 2 | Study on temperature characteristics of organic light-emitting diodes based on tris-(8-hydroxylquinoline)-aluminum显示文摘Both single-layer and double-layer organic light-emitting devices based on tris-(8-hydroxylquinoline)-aluminum(Alq3) as emitter are fabricated by thermal vacuum deposition.The electroluminescent characteristics of these devices at various temperatures are measured,and the temperature characteristics of device performance are studied.The effect of temperature on device current conduction regime is analyzed in detail.The results show that the current-voltage(I-V) characteristics of devices are in good agreement with the theoretical prediction of trapped charge limited current(TCLC).In addition,both the charge carrier mobility and charge carrier concentration in the organic layer increase with the rise of temperature,which results in the monotonous increase of Alq3 device current.The current conduction mechanisms of two devices at different temperatures are identical,but the exponent m in current-voltage equation changes randomly with temperature.The device luminance increases slightly and the efficiency decreases monotonously due to the aging of Alq3 luminescent properties caused by high temperature.A tiny blue shift can be observed in the electroluminescent(EL) spectra as the temperature increases,and the reduction of device monochromaticity is caused by the intrinsic characteristics of organic semiconductor energy levels. | SUO Fan YU JunSheng LI WeiZhi LOU ShuangLing DENG Jing JIANG YaDong | 2008 | Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,4: | 1 |

| 6 | Comparative Analysis of Cave Strain and Borehole Bulk Strain of the Tai an Seismic Station显示文摘Based on the cave strain observation data in 2013 at Tai'an seismic station,we use the Venedikov harmonic analysis method to calculate the cave strain measurement and phase lag of the tide factor, and qualitatively evaluate the stability of the tidal factor for observational data evaluation. At the same time, the two measurement items of the observation instrument are calculated,and the correlation strain parameters are extracted and compared. On this basis,the strain parameter time series calculation is carried out on the data quality of Taian seismic station,which is relatively stable,and the 2 sets of instruments are compared. The conclusion is as follows: The probability of occurrence of macroscopic anomalies before earthquakes increases with magnitude. The larger the earthquake magnitude, the more macroscopic anomalies appear. | 9 | The amino acid residue E96 of Ghd8 is crucial for the formation of the flowering repression complex Ghd7-Ghd8-OsHAP5C in rice显示文摘Ghd7 is an important gene involved in the photoperiod flowering pathway in rice.A Ghd7-involved transcriptional regulatory network has been established,but its translational regulatory pathway is poorly understood.The mutant suppressor of overexpression of Ghd7(sog7)was identified from EMS-induced mutagenesis on the background of ZH11 overexpressing Ghd7.Mut Map analysis revealed that SOG7 is allelic to Ghd8 and delayed flowering under long-day(LD)conditions.Biochemical assays showed that Ghd8 interacts with OsHAP5C and Ghd7 both in vivo and in vitro.Surprisingly,a point mutation E96K in theα2 helix of the Ghd8 histone fold domain(HFD)destroyed its ability to interact with Ghd7.The prediction of the structure shows that mutated amino acid is located in the interaction region of CCT/NF-YB/YC complexes,which alter the structure ofα4 of Ghd8.This structural difference prevents the formation of complex NF-YB/YC.The triple complex of Ghd8-OsHAP5C-Ghd7 directly bound to the promotor of Hd3a and downregulated the expression of Ehd1,Hd3a and RFT1,and finally resulted in a delayed heading.These findings are helpful in deeply understanding the Ghd7-involved photoperiod flowering pathway and promote the elucidation of rice heading. | Shuangle Li Yong Hu Chen An Qingli Wen Xiaowei Fan Zhanyi Zhang Ahmed Sherif Haiyang Liu Yongzhong Xing | 2023 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,4: | 0 |
| 10 | The CCT transcriptional activator Ghd2 constantly delays the heading date by upregulating CO3 in rice显示文摘CONSTANS,CO-like,and TOC1(CCT)family genes play important roles in regulating heading date,which exerts a large impact on the regional and seasonal adaptation of rice.Previous studies have shown that Grain number,plant height,and heading date2(Ghd2)exhibits a negative response to drought stress by directly upregulating Rubisco activase and exerting a negative effect on heading date.However,the target gene of Ghd2 regulating heading date is still unknown.In this study,CO3 is identified by analyzing Ghd2 ChIP-seq data.Ghd2 activates CO3 expression by binding to the CO3 promoter through its CCT domain.EMSA experiments show that the motif CCACTA in the CO3 promoter was recognized by Ghd2.A comparison of the heading dates among plants with CO3 knocked out or overexpressed and double-mutants with Ghd2 overexpressed and CO3 knocked out shows that CO3 negatively and constantly regulates flowering by repressing the transcription of Ehd1,Hd3a,and RFT1.In addition,the target genes of CO3 are explored via a comprehensive analysis of DAP-seq and RNA-seq data.Taken together,these results suggest that Ghd2 directly binds to the downstream gene CO3,and the Ghd2eCO3 module constantly delays heading date via the Ehd1-mediated pathway. | Xiaowei Fan Pengfei Wang Feixiang Qi Yong Hu Shuangle Li Jia Zhang Liwen Liang Zhanyi Zhang Juhong Liu Lizhong Xiong Yongzhong Xing | 2023 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2023,50,10: | 0 |
