1Changing trends of disease burden of gastric cancer in China from 1990 to 2019 and its predictions:Findings from Global Burden of Disease Study显示文摘Objective:China is one of the countries with the heaviest burden of gastric cancer(GC)in the world.Understanding the epidemiological trends and patterns of GC in China can contribute to formulating effective prevention strategies.Methods:The data on incidence,mortality,and disability-adjusted life-years(DALYs)of GC in China from1990 to 2019 were obtained from the Global Burden of Disease Study(2019).The estimated annual percentage change(EAPC)was calculated to evaluate the temporal trends of disease burden of GC,and the package Nordpred in the R program was used to perform an age-period-cohort analysis to predict the numbers and rates of incidence and mortality in the next 25 years.Results:The number of incident cases of GC increased from 317.34 thousand in 1990 to 612.82 thousand in2019,while the age-standardized incidence rate(ASIR)of GC decreased from 37.56 per 100,000 in 1990 to 30.64 per 100,000 in 2019,with an EAPC of-0.41[95%confidence interval(95%CI):-0.77,-0.06].Pronounced temporal trends in mortality and DALYs of GC were observed.In the next 25 years,the numbers of new GC cases and deaths are expected to increase to 738.79 thousand and 454.80 thousand,respectively,while the rates of incidence and deaths should steadily decrease.The deaths and DALYs attributable to smoking were different for males and females.Conclusions:In China,despite the fact that the rates of GC have decreased during the past three decades,the numbers of new GC cases and deaths increased,and will continue to increase in the next 25 years.Additional strategies are needed to reduce the burden of GC,such as screening and early detection,novel treatments,and the prevention of risk factors.Tongchao Zhang Hui Chen Xiaolin Yin Qiufeng He Jinyu Man Xiaorong Yang Ming Lu 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,1:19
2Air pollution and inhalation exposure to particulate matter of different sizes in rural households using improved stoves in central China显示文摘Household air pollution is considered to be among the top environmental risks in China.To examine the performance of improved stoves for reduction of indoor particulate matter(PM) emission and exposure in rural households, individual inhalation exposure to size-resolved PM was investigated using personal portable samplers carried by residents using wood gasifier stoves or improved coal stoves in a rural county in Central China.Concentrations of PM with different sizes in stationary indoor and outdoor air were also monitored at paired sites. The stationary concentrations of size-resolved PM in indoor air were greater than those in outdoor air, especially finer particles PM0.25. The daily averaged exposure concentrations of PM0.25, PM1.0, PM2.5 and total suspended particle for all the surveyed residents were 74.4 ± 41.1, 159.3 ± 74.3, 176.7 ± 78.1 and 217.9 ± 78.1 μg/m3,respectively. Even using the improved stoves, the individual exposure to indoor PM far exceeded the air quality guideline by WHO at 25 μg/m3. Submicron particles PM1.0 were the dominant PM fraction for personal exposure and indoor and outdoor air. Personal exposure exhibited a closer correlation with indoor PM concentrations than that for outdoor concentrations. Both inhalation exposure and indoor air PM concentrations in the rural households with gasifier firewood stoves were evidently lower than the reported results using traditional firewood stoves. 3Mode selection and high-quality upconversion lasing from perovskite CsPb2Br5 microplates显示文摘In recent years,halide perovskite nanostructures have had great advances and have opened up a bright future for micro/nanolasers.However,upconversion lasing by two-photon excitation with mode selection and high quality factor in one device is still rarely reported.Herein,two lasing modes are demonstrated in the all-inorganic perovskite CsPb2Br5 microplates with subwavelength thickness and uniform square shape.The net optical gain is quickly established in less than 1 ps and persists more than 30 ps,revealed by ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy.The temperature-dependent low-threshold amplified spontaneous emission confirms the net gain for stimulated emission with a high characteristic temperature of 403 K,far surpassing the all-inorganic CsPbBr3 semiconductor gain media.Remarkably,upconversion lasing based on two kinds of microcavity effects,Fabry–Pérot and whispering-gallery modes,from the microplates at room temperature is successfully achieved with a low threshold operating in multi-or single-mode,respectively.Surprisingly,the quality factor(~3551)is among the best values obtained from perovskite micro/nanoplate upconversion lasers without an external cavity.Moreover,the highly stable chromaticity with color drift only less than 0.1 nm also outbalances the all-inorganic CsPbBr3 ones.These superior performances of CsPb2Br5 microplate lasing with a facile solution synthesis procedure will offer a feasible structure to fabricate specific functionalities for high-performance frequency upconversion micro/nanoscale photonic integrated devices.ZHENGZHENG LIU CHUNWEI WANG ZHIPING HU JUAN DU JIE YANG ZEYU ZHANG TONGCHAO SHI WEIMIN LIU XIAOSHENG TANG AND YUXIN LENG 2020Photonics Research2020,8,9:2

8Nonlinear optical properties of CsPbCl_(x)Br_(3-x)nanocrystals embedded glass显示文摘All-inorganic perovskite has attracted significant attention due to its excellent nonlinear optical characteristics.Stable and low-toxic perovskite materials have great application prospects in optoelectronic devices.Here,we study the nonlinear optical properties of CsPbCl_(x)Br_(3-x)(x=1,1.5,2)nanocrystals(NCs)glass by open-aperture Z-scan.It is found that the two-(2 PA)and three-photon absorption(3 PA)intensity can be adjusted by the treatment temperature and the ratio of halide anions.The perovskite NCs glass treated at a high temperature has better crystallinity,resulting in stronger nonlinear absorption performance.In addition,the value of the 2 PA parameter of CsPbCl_(1.5)Br_(1.5)NCs glasses decreases when the incident pump intensity increases,which is ascribed to the saturation of 2 PA and population inversion.Finally,the research results show that the 2 PA coefficient(0.127 cm GW-1)and 3 PA coefficient(1.21×10^(-5)cm^(3)GW-2)of CsPbCl_(1)Br_(2)NCs glass with high Br anion content are larger than those of CsPbCl_(2)Br_(1)and CsPbCl_(1.5)Br_(1.5)NCs glasses.This is mainly due to the greater influence of Br anions on the symmetry of the perovskite structure,which leads to the redistribution of delocalized electrons.The revealed adjustable nonlinear optical properties of perovskite NCs glass are essential for developing stable and high-performance nonlinear optical devices.CHENJING QUAN XIAO XING SIHAO HUANG MENGFEIFEI JIN TONGCHAO SHI ZEYU ZHANG WEIDONG XIANG ZHANSHAN WANG YUXIN LENG 2021Photonics Research2021,9,9:1
