| 1 | Efficacy and safety of Xinfeng capsule in patients with rheumatoid arthritis:a multi-center parallel-group double-blind randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Xinfeng capsule in patients suffering rheumatoid arthritis(RA).METHODS:A multi-center parallel-group designed,double-blind,randomized,controlled trial was conducted.Totally 304 RA patients were assigned to two groups:one group was administered Xinfeng capsule(XFC) plus the placebo of leflunomide and the other given leflunomide(LEF) plus the placebo of XFC for twelve weeks.The clinical and laboratory parameters were compared at baseline and fourth,eighth,and twelfth weeks.RESULTS:After twelve-week treatment,patients in two groups all showed some trend of effectiveness when compared in terms of American Rheumatism Association(ACR) recommended 20%,50%,70%improvement criteria,but it was insignificant.The validity in ameliorate modified disease activity score(DAS28) and laboratory indexes as erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),rheumatoid factor(RF) were also found no difference.The score of health assessment questionnaire(HAQ),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS) and quality of life questionnaire with rheumatoid arthritis(RAQOL)both lower than the first week and the changes showed no difference.However,the score of SDS dropped more in XFC group than in the other.A total of 147 adverse reaction cases were reported,which shows no difference between the two groups.The most common adverse reactions were hepatic impairment,anemia,leukocytopenia,epigastric discomfort and phalacrosis.CONCLUSION:XFC demonstrated better improvement in the scores of SDS and compared with those of LEF group. | Liu Jian Wang Yuan Huang Chuanbing Xu Jianhua Li Zhijun Xu Liang He Liyun Sun Yue Wang Yali Xu Shengqian Zhao Ping Mao Tongjun Tan Bin Zhu Fubing Zhang Pingheng Fang Li | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,5: | 27 |

| 3 | Process for improving the ladle free- opening rate for high aluminum steel in continuous casting显示文摘Steel 20Mn23AlV is a type of high aluminum steel with a very low ladle free-opening rate. The aluminum composition of 20Mn23AlV ranges from 1. 6% to 2. 45%,which is significantly higher than other types of steel.According to the real condition of 40 t ladle in steel-making plant of Baosteel Special Steel Company,previous works show that the key factors affecting the ladle free-opening rate of high aluminum steel in continuous casting are: sand material,accessories baking,ladle nozzle cleaning,the process and amount of adding sand,and the rate of argon stirring during refining. | 5 | Preparation of Au NPs/ZnO NTs Hybrid Array and Its Photo Catalytic Performance for MO显示文摘X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy were employed to investigate the microstructure and morphology of Au NPs/ZnO NTs, and their photo-catalytic capability was assessed to a nicety. The results demonstrated that the diameter and the wall thickness of ZnO nanotube were about 200 and 50 nm, respectively. The diameter of Au nanoparticle was about 30 nm. The characterization on the photo-catalytic capability of the Au-ZnO nanotube hybrid indicated that the degradation of methyl orange was 80% within 4 h. | 10 | Genesis of Kaolinite Deposits in the Jungar Coalfield,North China:Petrological,Mineralogical and Geochemical Evidence显示文摘Petrological,mineralogical and geochemical studies carried out on kaolinite deposits in Haerwusu surface mine,Jungar Coalfield,northern Ordos Basin,North China,define their characteristics,ore genesis and economic interest.Based on the crystalline size,two different types of kaolinite rocks,cryptocrystalline and grainy,were identified under the microscope.XRD data show that kaolinite is the predominant mineral,associated with boehmite,magnesite,anatase,pyrite,diaspore and calcite.However,high boehmite content(mean 70%)shows up in the middle layers.Kaolinite minerals present homogeneous shape and a good crystallinity(HI=0.96–1.26).Geochemical studies show that the SiO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3)molar ratio of kaolinite is close to the theoretical value,and the contents of Na_(2)O,K_(2)O,CaO,Mg O are less,suggesting a strong chemical weathering environment.The REE and Eu anomalies show a close relationship between kaolinite and the Yinshan Oldland granite.A Ce anomaly reflects a continental sedimentary environment with shallow water.A temperature range of 26.7–34℃was calculated on the basis of the isotopic signatures(δ18O,δD)of the kaolinite rocks.All these data indicate that the formation of the kaolinite is caused mainly by the dissolution,coagulation,precipitation and recrystallization of aluminosilicate clastics in acidic conditions.The formation of boehmite in the middle layers indicates that the source rocks have changed.Boehmite is mainly formed by dehydration and compaction of an aluminum-rich colloid which transported into peat swamp during diagenesis.In addition,it formed by desiliconization of kaolinite under acidic conditions.Due to its high kaolinite content(up to 90%)and low iron mineral content(less than 1%),and good crystallinity,kaolinite deposits occurred at Haerwusu surface mine probably have great economical value in the future. | LIU Linsong ZHANG Tongjun LIU Jianping LIU Qinfu LI Kuo LIU Di LIU Wanyue | 2021 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,2: | 1 |

| 17 | A Pregnant Woman Died of Sudden Cardiac Death:Should Esophageal Foreign Body Be Considered an Inductive Factor?A Case Report and Literature Review显示文摘Here,we report a case of acute attack of coronary heart disease(CHD).A 47‑year‑old pregnant woman with gestational hypertension developed sudden‑onset chest tightness,palpitations,dyspnea,and cyanosis of the face and lips after admission.Her blood pressure was 180/110 mmHg and her blood oxygen saturation was 45%at that time.After cardiopulmonary resuscitation,a weak heartbeat was restored,but oxygen saturation did not increase significantly.Therefore,she was transferred to the intensive care unit;however,she died after 21 days of admission.Autopsy findings revealed that a foreign body was embedded in the esophagus near the right piriform,and her heart weighed 392 g;histopathological examination revealed CHD,thrombosis in the lumen of the right coronary artery,cardiomyocyte hypertrophy,vascular hyaline degeneration in arterioles,neutrophils in the bronchiole and alveolar.All the tested samples yielded negative toxicological results.Clinical status and autopsy findings were not compatible with a diagnosis of peripartum cardiomyopathy.The patient’s sudden death was attributed to CHD,and esophageal foreign‑body impaction was considered to be concomitant phenomenon.Our findings might help in increasing the awareness between esophageal foreign‑body impaction and sudden cardiac death and they can also help in clarifying that understanding the primary cause of death is the key to resolving an iatrogenic medical tangle. | Chang Cao Mingming Li Zhanzhan Liu Shiyong Fang Gang Chen Guang Chen Tongjun Ma Xuyang Zhu Xiang Xu | 2022 | Journal of Forensic Science and Medicine2022,8,4: | 0 |

| 20 | Research and application of numerical simulation to optimization of ingot casting process显示文摘During the ingot casting process,the parametric changes of the molten steel pouring process often cause both ingot surface and internal quality defects. With the increasingly wide application of computers in industrial technology,numerical simulations of the molten steel pouring process enable predictions of the defects that will arise during the pouring and solidification process,especially for the molten steel flowduring the early stages of casting. In addition,using a computer to simulate the casting process of a 40 t ingot and solidification can prevent many defects.
