| 1 | Chimeric antigen receptor-modified T cells for the immunotherapy of patients with EGFR-expressing advanced relapsed/refractory non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘The successes achieved by chimeric antigen receptor-modified T(CAR-T) cells in hematological malignancies raised the possibility of their use in non-small lung cancer(NSCLC). In this phase I clinical study(NCT01869166), patients with epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)-positive(>50% expression), relapsed/refractory NSCLC received escalating doses of EGFR-targeted CAR-T cell infusions. The EGFR-targeted CAR-T cells were generated from peripheral blood after a 10 to 13-day in vitro expansion. Serum cytokines in peripheral blood and copy numbers of CAR-EGFR transgene in peripheral blood and in tissue biopsy were monitored periodically. Clinical responses were evaluated with RECIST1.1 and immune-related response criteria, and adverse events were graded with CTCAE 4.0. The EGFR-targeted CAR-T cell infusions were well-tolerated without severe toxicity. Of 11 evaluable patients, two patients obtained partial response and five had stable disease for two to eight months. The median dose of transfused CAR+ T cells was 0.97×10~7 cells kg^(-1)(interquartile range(IQR), 0.45 to 1.09×10~7 cells kg^(-1)). Pathological eradication of EGFR positive tumor cells after EGFR-targeted CAR-T cell treatment can be observed in tumor biopsies, along with the CAR-EGFR gene detected in tumor-infiltrating T cells in all four biopsied patients. | 2 | DNA methylation-mediated repression of miR-181a/135a/302c expression promotes the microsatellite-unstable colorectal cancer development and 5-FU resistance via targeting PLAG1显示文摘Micro sate Hite instability(MSI) defines a subtype of colorectal cancer(CRC) with typical clinicopathologic characteristics. CRCs with MSI(MSI CRCs) frequently acquire accelerated carcinogenesis and 5-FU resistance, and the exact underlying mechanism remains incompletely understood. Our previous study has identified the microRNA(miRNA) expression profile in MSI CRCs. In this study, three miRNAs(miR-181 a, miR-135 a and miR-302 c) were validated by qRT-PCR to be dramatically decreased in 67 CRC samples. Proliferation and apoptosis assays demonstrated that miR-181 a/135 a/302 c function as tumor suppressors via repressing PLAG1/IGF2 signaling. Moreover, we presented compelling evidence that restoration of miR-181 a/135 a/302 c expression promoted sensitivity of MSI CRC cells to 5-FU treatment. miR-181 a/135 a/302 c exerted their effect on chemoresistance through attenuating PLAG1 expression. Notably, the hypermethylation status of MSI CRC accounts for the decrements of miR-181 a/135 a/302 c. | 3 | Uranium Provinces in China显示文摘Three uranium provinces are recognized in China, the Southeast China uranium province, the Northeast China-Inner Mongolia uranium province and the Northwest China (Xinjiang) uranium province. The latter two promise good potential for uranium resources and are major exploration target areas in recent years. There are two major types of uranium deposits: the Phanerozoic hydrothermal type (vein type) and the Meso-Cenozoic sandstone type in different proportions in the three uranium provinces. The most important reason or prerequisite for the formation of these uranium provinces is that Precambrian uranium-enriched old basement or its broken parts (median massifs) exists or once existed in these regions, and underwent strong tectonomagmatic activation during Phanerozoic time. | 7 | Optical characteristics of Ce,Eu:YAG single crystal grown by Czochralski method显示文摘Eu-doped Ce:YAG single crystal(SC) was fabricated by the Czochralski method. The crystal structure,optical and photoelectric property of the constructed w-LED was investigated. The XRD and HRTEM results show that YAG crystal structure has little change when Eu^(3+), Ce^(3+) are doped. Absorption spectra and photoluminescence spectra show that the Ce,Eu:YAG single crystal can effectively absorb the 460 nm blue light to form a broadband emission center at 530 nm, decay curves of the crystal show that the energy transfer between Ce^(3+) and Eu^(3+) is highly suppressed. | 9 | Nonuniform stretch processing for the range profile of a target with micro-motion显示文摘Complex motions such as micro-motions induce complex range-Doppler coupling effect in radar imaging. Hence, it is a challenge to reconstruct a clear range profile of a target with micro-motion. Stretch processing with fine motion compensation cannot perform well while it ties to eliminate the distortion of range profile caused by Doppler effect, because it is difficult to accurately estimate each scattering center velocity during coherent processing interval. Based on nonuniform stretch processing (NSP), a new technology is proposed to decouple range, time and Doppler and then achieve range profile of target with micro-motion. The new technology uses a new synthetic wide-band waveform and has an innovative mathematic interpretation. Statistical properties of the new approach are primarily examined. Typical models of target with micro-motion for high resolution radar are presented. The SLR station in San Juan, set up by China and Argentina, is quite sig- nificant for improving the distribution of SLR stations and enhancing the orbital coverage of the whole earth. | 15 | Enhanced multimodal luminescence and ultrahigh stability Eu^(3+)-doped CsPbBr_(3) glasses for X-ray detection and imaging显示文摘As an emerging scintillation material,metal halide perovskite(CsPbX3)has been deemed the most potentially valuable candidate in X-ray detection and medical imaging.Nevertheless,it is a continuing challenge to implement efficient radioluminescence(RL)with high radiation stability and moisture resistance.Moreover,the optimized luminescence properties and excellent uniformity of CsPbX3 glass are also key points for obtaining perfect X-ray images.Herein,we have successfully precipitated Eu^(3+)-doped CsPbBr_(3)nanocrystals(NCs)with improved photoluminescence quantum yield(≈58.6%)because partial Eu^(3+)entered the perovskite lattice in a robust borosilicate glass matrix by in situ crystallization.The small amount of Eu addition made the lattice of NCs shrink and promoted uniform distribution of CsPbBr_(3)NCs in the glass,which effectively reduced the light scattering of the sample.Subsequently,multimodal RL intensity of the CsPbBr_(3)/CsPbBr_(3):xEu NCs glasses(CPB-0Eu/CPB-xEu)as a function of X-ray dose rate showed a superlinear relationship to the benefit of obtaining satisfactory X-ray images.Also,the outstanding radiation stability and water resistance of CPB-xEu were confirmed due to the protection of the robust glass matrix.Finally,an X-ray imaging system using a CPB-xEu scintillator was constructed,and the spring in the opaque sample was legibly detected under the motivation of X-rays,indicating that CsPbX3 glasses possess extensive application prospects in terms of X-ray detection and medical imaging. | YAO TONG QIN WANG HENG YANG XIAOTING LIU ENROU MEI XIAOJUAN LIANG ZHIJUN ZHANG WEIDONG XIANG | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,12: | 2 |
