| 1 | Enhanced efficiency of cadmium removal by Boehmeria nivea(L.) Gaud. in the presence of exogenous citric and oxalic acids显示文摘Boehmeria nivea(L.)Gaud.is a potential candidate for the remediation of Cd contaminated sites.The present investigation aims to explore Cd tolerance threshold and to quickly identify the role of exogenous organic acids in Cd uptake and abiotic metal stress damage.Elevated Cd levels(0–10 mg/L)resulted in an obvious rise in Cd accumulation,ranging from268.0 to 374.4 in root and 25.2 to 41.2 mg/kg dry weight in shoot,respectively.Citric acid at1.5 mmol/L significantly facilitated Cd uptake by 26.7%in root and by 1-fold in shoot,respectively.Cd translocation efficiency from root to shoot was improved by a maximum of66.4%under 3 mmol/L of oxalic acid.Citric acid exhibited more prominent mitigating effect than oxalic acid due to its stronger ligand affinity for chelating with metal and avoiding the toxicity injury of free Cd ions more efficiently.The present work provides a potential strategy for efficient Cd remediation with B.nivea. | Huaying Li Yunguo Liu Guangming Zeng Lu Zhou Xin Wang Yaqin Wang Chunlin Wang Xinjiang Hu Weihua Xu | 2014 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2014,26,12: | 10 |

| 4 | Improvement of luminescent stability from carbon nanotube field emission display based on printed CNT film显示文摘Aiming at the influences of poor contact at carbon nanotube (CNT)/electrode interface on luminescence stability in printed CNT film, a new co-sintering process for cathode fabrication was presented to improve the luminescent stability of fully printed CNT-FED. By co-sintering the printed silver and CNT layers, CNTs geometrically matched with Ag surface and/or embedded into Ag layer at the bottom of the co-sintered film, large CNTs block and bulk silver nested each other at the top of the co-sintered film. All these structures increased the contact area at CNT/Ag interface, which could increase the probability of forming ohmic contact at CNT/Ag interface. | 5 | 小鼠骨骼肌挫伤后基因表达的时间进程(英文)显示文摘Background:Though the mechanisms of skeletal muscle regeneration are deeply understood,those involved in muscle contusion,one of the most common muscle injuries in sports medicine clinics,are not.The objective of this study is to explore the mechanisms involved in muscle regeneration after contusion injury.Methods:In this study,a total of 72 mice were used.Eight of them were randomly chosen for the control group,while the rest were subjected to muscle contusion.Subsequently,their gastrocnemius muscles were harvested at different time points.The changes in muscle morphology were assessed by hematoxylin and eosin(HE) stain.In addition,the gene expression was analyzed by real-time polymerase chain reaction.Results:The data showed that the expression of many genes,i.e.,specific markers of immune cells and satellite cells,regulatory factors for muscle regeneration,cytokines,and chemokines,increased in the early stages of recovery,especially in the first 3 days.Furthermore,there were strict rules in the expression of these genes.However,almost all the genes returned to normal at 14 days post-injury.Conclusion:The sequence of immune cells invaded after muscle contusion was neutrophils,M1 macrophages and M2 macrophages.Some CC(CCL2,CCL3,and CCL4) and CXC(CXCL10) chemokines may be involved in the chemotaxis of these immune cells.HGF may be the primary factor to activate the satellite cells after muscle contusion.Moreover,2 weeks are needed to recover when acute contusion happens as used in this study. | Weihua Xiao Yu Liu Beibei Luo Linlin Zhao Xiaoguang Liu Zhigang Zeng Peijie Chen | 2016 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2016,5,1: | 8 |

| 8 | Trends of environmental accidents and impact factors in China显示文摘An overview of the spatial and temporal variations of the environmental accidents in China in recent years was presented in this paper using available data.The results showed that the frequency of pollution accidents was significantly decreased,from 3462 in 1990 to 462 in 2007.The water and air pollution accidents were found to be the dominant types,accounting for more than 80%of the total accidents.Considering the classification of environmental accidents at 4 scales,the general environmental accident,i.e.,the least serious type,was the most frequent event,taking up 58.98%of the total pollution accidents.In addition,the distribution of environmental accidents was generally in accordance with the industrial layout in the country during the past decade.It is very important to note that the extraordinarily severe environmental accidents showed an increasing trend in underdeveloped regions,which was caused by the transfer and the development of heavy polluted industry in these areas.As to the losses of environmental accidents,the casualties presented an obvious reduction tendency,while the direct economic loss per accident tended to climb up.Furthermore,some key factors that affect the spatial and temporal tendencies of environmental accidents in China were discussed and some suggestions were put forward,hoping to shed light on environmental risk management and emergency plans making associated with environmental accidents in China. | Pengli XUE Weihua ZENG | 2011 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2011,5,2: | 5 |

| 10 | Distribution of living radiolarians in spring in the South China Sea and its responses to environmental factors显示文摘Using a planktonic net(62-?m mesh) and a Rose-Bengal staining method, we studied the spatial distribution of living radiolarians in spring along two sections of the South China Sea(SCS) in spring and discussed the responses of living radiolarian distribution to tropical environmental factors. Generally, the highest abundance of living radiolarians occurred at the depth range of 25–75 m, where the chlorophyll-a maximum and the highest primary productivity were. In contrast, the maximum living abundance occurred in the top 25 m in cold eddies in the open seas and the abundance decreased with depth. We found that the inhibition effect of changing salinity(due to runoffs) on living radiolarians was much stronger than the promotion effect of mesoscale cold eddies. We observed that large variation of temperature was unfavorable for living radiolarians. The dominant species composition consisted of tropical-subtropical warm species. We identified some indicator species for tropical environments. Living Didymocyrtis tetrathalamus tetrathalamus could be an indicator for tropical surface water or mixed-layer water, and even for tropical oligotrophic water. Living Tetrapyle octacantha could be used to indicate tropical thermocline and eutrophic environment. Living Acanthodesmia vinculata could indicate tropical surface and subsurface waters. T. octacantha and A. vinculata should only be used as indicators for upwelling in the open seas, i.e., far away from river mouths. Living Siphonosphaera polysiphonia preferred to form colonies, which might be related to the effect of warm eddies. | 11 | Analysis of steering performance of differential coupling wheelset显示文摘In order to improve the curving performance of the conventional wheelset in sharp curves and resolve the steering ability problem of the independently rotating wheel in large radius curves and tangent lines, a differential coupling wheelset(DCW) was developed in this work. The DCW was composed of two independently rotating wheels(IRWs) coupled by a clutch-type limited slip differential.The differential contains a static pre-stress clutch, which could lock both sides of IRWs of the DCW to ensure a good steering performance in curves with large radius and tangent track. In contrast, the clutch could unlock the two IRWs of the DCW in a sharp curve to endue it with the characteristic of an IRW, so that the vehicles can go through the tight curve smoothly. To study the dynamic performance of the DCW, a multi-body dynamic model of single bogie with DCWs was established. The self-centering capability, hunting stability,and self-steering performance on a curved track were analyzed and then compared with those of the conventional wheelset and IRW. | 12 | Detection of bursts in neuronal spike trains by the mean inter-spike interval method显示文摘Bursts are electrical spikes firing with a high frequency,which are the most important property in synaptic plasticity and information processing in the central nervous system. However,bursts are difficult to identify because bursting activities or patterns vary with phys-iological conditions or external stimuli. In this paper,a simple method automatically to detect bursts in spike trains is described. This method auto-adaptively sets a parameter (mean inter-spike interval) according to intrinsic properties of the detected burst spike trains,without any arbitrary choices or any operator judgment. When the mean value of several successive inter-spike intervals is not larger than the parameter,a burst is identified. By this method,bursts can be automatically extracted from different bursting patterns of cultured neurons on multi-electrode arrays,as accurately as by visual inspection. Furthermore,significant changes of burst variables caused by electrical stimulus have been found in spontaneous activity of neuronal network. | 13 | A Data and Knowledge Collaboration Strategy for Decision-Making on the Amount of Aluminum Fluoride Addition Based on Augmented Fuzzy Cognitive Maps显示文摘In the aluminum reduction process, aluminum uoride (AlF3) is added to lower the liquidus temperature of the electrolyte and increase the electrolytic ef ciency. Making the decision on the amount of AlF3 addi- tion (referred to in this work as MDAAA) is a complex and knowledge-based task that must take into con- sideration a variety of interrelated functions;in practice, this decision-making step is performed manually. Due to technician subjectivity and the complexity of the aluminum reduction cell, it is dif cult to guarantee the accuracy of MDAAA based on knowledge-driven or data-driven methods alone. Existing strategies for MDAAA have dif culty covering these complex causalities. In this work, a data and knowl- edge collaboration strategy for MDAAA based on augmented fuzzy cognitive maps (FCMs) is proposed. In the proposed strategy, the fuzzy rules are extracted by extended fuzzy k-means (EFKM) and fuzzy deci- sion trees, which are used to amend the initial structure provided by experts. The state transition algo- rithm (STA) is introduced to detect weight matrices that lead the FCMs to desired steady states. This study then experimentally compares the proposed strategy with some existing research. The results of the comparison show that the speed of FCMs convergence into a stable region based on the STA using the proposed strategy is faster than when using the differential Hebbian learning (DHL), particle swarm optimization (PSO), or genetic algorithm (GA) strategies. In addition, the accuracy of MDAAA based on the proposed method is better than those based on other methods.
