3Routing valley exciton emission of a WS_(2) monolayer via delocalized Bloch modes of in-plane inversion-symmetry-broken photonic crystal slabs显示文摘The valleys of two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)offer a new degree of freedom for information processing.To take advantage of this valley degree of freedom,on the one hand,it is feasible to control valleys by utilizing different external stimuli,such as optical and electric fields.On the other hand,nanostructures are also used to separate the valleys by near-field coupling.However,for both of the above methods,either the required low-temperature environment or low degree of coherence properties limit their further applications.Here,we demonstrate that all-dielectric photonic crystal(PhC)slabs without in-plane inversion symmetry(C_(2) symmetry)can separate and route valley exciton emission of a WS2 monolayer at room temperature.Coupling with circularly polarized photonic Bloch modes of such PhC slabs,valley photons emitted by a WS_(2) monolayer are routed directionally and are efficiently separated in the far field.In addition,far-field emissions are directionally enhanced and have long-distance spatial coherence properties.Jiajun Wang Han Li Yating Ma Maoxiong Zhao Wenzhe Liu Bo Wang Shiwei Wu Xiaohan Liu Lei Shi Tian Jiang Jian Zi 2020Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1:4

5Formation of hierarchical Fe7Se8 nanorod bundles with enhanced sodium storage properties显示文摘Ordered hierarchical architectures are attractive candidates for electrochemical energy storage applications.Herein,a facile self-template strategy is applied to prepare Fe7Se8 architectures with a monolithic structure via a self-synthesized single precursor and subsequent calcination at high temperature.With the support of oleylamine,the precursor is structurally targeted to engineer the Fe7Se8 microstructure,featuring nanorod bundles arranged along the longitudinal direction.Because of their ordered hierarchical structure,the Fe7Se8 nanorod bundles deliver a high reversible capacity of 300 m Ah g^-1 at 0.5 A g^-1,along with exceptional rate capability up to 20 A g^-1 and long-term cycle life over 8000 cycles,which represents the highest stability of Fe7Se8 anodes for sodium-ion batteries reported to date.The feasibility of the present strategy to prepare metal selenide structures highlights its promising potential for the rational and effective engineering of electrode materials responsible for the electrochemical performance of energy storage systems.Wenzhi Tian Wenzhe Ma Zhenyu Feng Fang Tian Haibo Li Jing Liu 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,5:2

7Preparation of Solid Waste-Based Activated Carbon and Its Adsorption Mechanism for Toluene显示文摘Regenerated activated carbon(RAC)samples were prepared by carbon activation using waste activated carbon from solid waste resources as the carbon source precursor coupled with adding alkaline additives,and then were further modified by potassium ferrate to finally prepare high-performance carbon for VOCs adsorption.At the same time,the samples before and after modification were systematically studied through characterization techniques such as SEM,Raman spectrometry,FT-IR,XPS,and dynamic/static adsorption.The results showed that the specific surface area and pore volume of the RAC after modification by the strong oxidant potassium ferrate increased by 1.4 times;the degree of defects was enhanced and the content of oxygen-containing functional groups on the surface increased significantly.Among them,the sample modified with potassium ferrate for 24 h had the best dynamic toluene adsorption performance(375.5 mg/g),and the dynamic adsorption capacity was twice that of the original sample(192.8 mg/g).The static adsorption test found that the maximum adsorption capacity of RAC-6%K_(2)FeO_(4)+H_(2)SO_(4)-24h was 796 mg/g,which indicated that the potassium ferrate modification treatment could significantly increase the VOCs adsorption performance of RAC.In addition,through consecutive toluene adsorption-desorption cycle tests,it was found that the RAC-6%K_(2)FeO_(4)+H_(2)SO_(4)-24h sample still retained 91%of adsorption activity after the fifth regeneration cycle.This indicates that RAC-6%K_(2)FeO_(4)+H_(2)SO_(4)-24h has good cycle stability and great application value for the efficient purification of industrial waste VOCs gas.Li Zhi Li Yunpeng Liu Jun Si Wenzhe Zhang Yongfa Li Junhua 2022China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2022,24,1:2
8Optimization of hydrogen production from agricultural wastes using mixture design显示文摘Hydrogen production from food waste,cattle manure,potato pulp and pig manure was optimized through using mixture design in this study.The synergic and antagonistic effects of the four substrates on hydrogen yield,substrate conversion efficiency and pH were evaluated.The results showed that the optimal proportion of food waste,cattle manure,potato pulp and pig manure were 61.6%,38.4%,0,and 0,respectively.Under the optimal condition,hydrogen yield of 21.0 mL/g VS with VS reduction of 29.4%and pH of 5 could be obtained.The interaction between food waste and cattle manure had strongest synergistic effects.Hydrogen was mainly produced by acetic-butyric metabolic pathway,and ammonification of protein played an important role in the maintenance of pH.Liu Shuang Wang Chunying Yin Lili Li Wenzhe Wang Zhongjiang Luo Lina 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,3:2

10Formation process and properties of hydrogen-producing granular sludge in UASB reactor显示文摘The granular sludge of microbial fermentation systems includes various biomass-degrading enzymes and different microflora,which have significant impacts on the degradation of biomass and the stability of the system.An up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket(UASB)reactor was used to grow hydrogen-producing granular sludge.The results showed that the formation of the granular sludge underwent four stages,i.e.,flocculation of the sludge,formation of the flocculent sludge,swelling of the flocculent sludge,and formation of the granular sludge.The formed granular sludge mostly had regular spherical and ellipsoidal shapes with a fractal dimension of 2.08±0.4;the settling velocities were 0.84 cm/s to 1.96 cm/s in water,the porosity was 0.67-0.95.The shear sensitivity(Kss)of the granular sludge was 0.1152.The granular sludge had a culture cycle of approximately 70 d and a hydrogen yield of 1.09 mol H2/mol glucose.Lili Yin Shuang Liu Mengyi Wang Wencong Ju Donghui Wei Wenzhe Li 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,5:1

12Phase characterisation of metalenses显示文摘Metalenses have emerged as a new optical element or system in recent years,showing superior performance and abundant applications.However,the phase distribution of a metalens has not been measured directly up to now,hindering further quantitative evaluation of its performance.We have developed an interferometric imaging phase measurement system to measure the phase distribution of a metalens by taking only one photo of the interference pattern.Based on the measured phase distribution,we analyse the negative chromatic aberration effect of monochromatic metalenses and propose a feature size of metalenses.Different sensitivities of the phase response to wavelength between the Pancharatnam-Berry phase-based metalens and propagation phase-reliant metalens are directly observed in the experiment.Furthermore,through phase distribution analysis,it is found that the distance between the measured metalens and the brightest spot of focusing will deviate from the focal length when the metalens has a low nominal numerical aperture,even though the metalens is ideal without any fabrication error.We also use the measured phase distribution to quantitatively characterise the imaging performance of the metalens.Our phase measurement system will help not only designers optimise the designs of metalenses but also fabricants distinguish defects to improve the fabrication process,which will pave the way for metalenses in industrial applications.Maoxiong Zhao Mu Ku Chen Ze-Peng Zhuang Yiwen Zhang Ang Chen Qinmiao Chen Wenzhe Liu Jiajun Wang Ze-Ming Chen Bo Wang Xiaohan Liu Haiwei Yin Shumin Xiao Lei Shi Jian-Wen Dong Jian Zi Din Ping Tsai 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,4:1

15Sulfur and nitrogen codoped cyanoethyl cellulose-derived carbon with superior gravimetric and volumetric capacity for potassium ion storage显示文摘We fabricated sulfur and nitrogen codoped cyanoethyl cellulose-derived carbons(SNCCs)with state-of-the-art electrochemical performance for potassium ion battery(PIB)and potassium ion capacitor(PIC)anodes.At 0.2,0.5,1,2,5,and 10 A g−1,the SNCC shows reversible capacities of 369,328,249,208,150,and 121 mA h g−1,respectively.Due to a high packing density of 1.01 g cm^(−3),the volumetric capacities are also uniquely favorable,being 373,331,251,210,151,and 122 mA h cm^(−3)at these currents,respectively.SNCC also shows promising initial Coulombic efficiency of 69.0%and extended cycling stability with 99.8%capacity retention after 1000 cycles.As proof of principle,an SNCC-based PIC is fabricated and tested,achieving 94.3Wh kg^(−1)at 237.5Wkg^(−1)and sustaining over 6000 cycles at 30 A g−1 with 84.5%retention.The internal structure of S and N codoped SNCC is based on highly dilated and defective graphene sheets arranged into nanometer-scale walls.Using a baseline S-free carbon for comparison(termed NCC),the role of S doping and the resultant dilated structure was elucidated.According to galvanostatic intermittent titration technique and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy analyses,as well as COMSOL simulations,this structure promotes rapid solid-state diffusion of potassium ions and a solid electrolyte interphase that is stable during cycling.X-ray diffraction was used to probe the ion storage mechanisms in SNCC,establishing the role of reversible potassium intercalation and the presence of KC36,KC24,and KC8 phases at low voltages.Guangzeng Cheng Wenzhe Zhang Wei Wang Huanlei Wang Yixian Wang Jing Shi Jingwei Chen Shuai Liu Minghua Huang David Mitlin 2022Carbon Energy2022,4,5:1
16A brief review on the lead element substitution in perovskite solar cells显示文摘Organic-inorganic halide perovskites have attracted huge attentions as the novel photoelectric function materials. So far, perovskite solar cells(PSCs) with prominent performance are still based on the lead halide perovskites, although they are potentially highly toxic. The issue of toxicity has become one of most crucial problems before its commercialization. Therefore, an increasing number of studies have focused on the lead element substitution in PSCs, and many excellent achievements have been reported.Alternative elements, e.g., Sn, Ge, Bi and Sb were successively used to fabricate lead-free perovskites,which provided potential possibility to tackle the toxicity issue. Recently, Sn–Pb hybrid perovskites were demonstrated to realize lead reduction without sacrificing the PCE. In addition, a new family of halide double-perovskites was explored and given high expectations. 17Role of blood pressure on stroke-related mortality:a 45-year follow-up study in China显示文摘Background:Hypertension is associated with stroke-related mortality.However,the long-term association of blood pressure(BP)and the risk of stroke-related mortality and the influence path of BP on stroke-related death remain unknown.The current study aimed to estimate the long-term causal associations between BP and stroke-related mortality and the potential mediating and moderated mediating model of the associations.Methods:This is a 45-year follow-up cohort study and a total of 1696 subjects were enrolled in 1976 and 1081 participants died by the latest follow-up in 2020.COX proportional hazard model was used to explore the associations of stroke-related death with baseline systolic blood pressure(SBP)/diastolic blood pressure(DBP)categories and BP changes from 1976 to 1994.The mediating and moderated mediating effects were performed to detect the possible influencing path from BP to stroke-related deaths.E value was calculated in the sensitivity analysis.Results:Among 1696 participants,the average age was 44.38±6.10 years,and 1124 were men(66.3%).After a 45-year follow-up,a total of 201(11.9%)stroke-related deaths occurred.After the adjustment,the COX proportional hazard model showed that among the participants with SBP≥160 mmHg or DBP≥100 mmHg in 1976,the risk of stroke-related death increased by 217.5%(hazard ratio[HR]=3.175,95%confidence interval[CI]:2.297-4.388),and the adjusted HRs were higher in male participants.Among the participants with hypertension in 1976 and 1994,the risk of stroke-related death increased by 110.4%(HR=2.104,95%CI:1.632-2.713),and the adjusted HRs of the BP changes were higher in male participants.Body mass index(BMI)significantly mediated the association of SBP and stroke-related deaths and this mediating effect was moderated by gender.Conclusions:In a 45-year follow-up,high BP and persistent hypertension are associated with stroke-related death,and these associations were even more pronounced in male participants.The paths of association are mediated by BMI and moderated by gender.Shengshu Wang Shanshan Yang Wangping Jia Ke Han Yang Song Jing Zeng Wenzhe Cao Shaohua Liu Shimin Chen Zhiqiang Li Xuehang Li Penggang Tai Fuyin Kou Yao He Miao Liu 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,4:1
18DSCR9/miR-21-5p axis inhibits pancreatic cancer proliferation and resistance to gemcitabine via BTG2 signaling显示文摘The outcome of pancreatic adenocarcinoma(PAAD)patients is poor,given resistance to gemcitabine.Long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)has been implicated in the carcinogenesis of pancreatic cancer;however,its function and mechanism in PAAD resistance to gemcitabine(GEM)are yet unknown.Herein,we demonstrate that lncRNA DSCR9 is significantly reduced in PAAD in vitro and in vivo.CCK-8,BrdU and flow cytometry assays show that overexpression of DSCR9 markedly suppresses pancreatic cancer cell proliferation and invasion,and promotes apoptosis under gemcitabine treatment.BTG2 acts as a tumor suppressor by reducing the proliferation and invasion of pancreatic cancer cells and increasing gemcitabine-induced apoptosis.Immunofluorescence(IF)staining combined with fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH)of pancreatic cancer tissues shows that DSCR9 and BTG2 are both increased in pancreatic cancer tissues.Luciferase assay shows that miR-21-5p simultaneously binds to DSCR9 and 3′UTR of BTG2;DSCR9 relieves miR-21-5p-induced inhibition of BTG2 by competing with BTG2 for miR-21-5p binding.Overexpression of miR-21-5p enhances the invasiveness of pancreatic cancer cells by promoting cancer cell proliferation and invasion and attenuating gemcitabine-induced apoptosis.Overexpression of miR-21-5p attenuates the effect of DSCR9 overexpression on BTG2 expression and invasiveness of pancreatic cancer cells.Finally,miR-21-5p expression is increased,while BTG2 expression is decreased in pancreatic cancer tissues.miR-21-5p is negatively correlated with DSCR9 and BTG2.In conclusion,the DSCR9/miR-21-5p/BTG2 axis modulates pancreatic cancer proliferation,invasion,and gemcitabine resistance.Hui Huang Xia Li Xianlin Zhang Zhiqiang Li Duo Han Wenzhe Gao Ling Liu Cheng Peng Hongwei Zhu Xiao Yu 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,12:1
