1Prevalence and risk factors of HIV and syphilis,and knowledge and risk behaviors related to HIV/AIDS among men who have sex with men in Chongqing,China显示文摘High HIV prevalence and incidence burdens have been reported in men who have sex with men(MSM)in Chongqing,China.We aimed to estimate the prevalence of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections(STIs),to appraise the knowledge and risk behaviors related to HIV/AIDS among MSM,and to analyze the possible causes of deviation between behavior and knowledge to make better strategies.We recruited 617 MSM from February to July in 2008 by using a respondent-driven sampling(RDS) method in Chongqing,China.Through the collection of questionnaire-based data and biological testing results from all objects,we launched a crosssectional survey.STATA/SE was used for data analysis by frequency,ANOVA,rank sum test and logistic regression models.MSM with syphilis(OR=4.16,95%CI:2.35-7.33,P<0.0001) were more likely to be HIV infected.Being a company employee(OR=3.64,95%CI:1.22-10.08,P<0.0001) and having bought male for sex(OR=3.52,95%CI:1.10-11.32,P<0.034) were associated with a higher probability of syphilis.MSM with younger age,higher education and greater monthly income had a higher mean knowledge score.MSM who had HIV testing had a higher mean knowledge score than those who never had.Students,venues for finding sex partners by Internet and homosexuals in MSM had a higher mean knowledge score compared to other occupations,venues for finding sex partners and sexual orientation.There is an urgent need for delivery of barrier and biomedical interventions with coordinated behavioral and structural strategies to improve the effect of HIV interventions among MSM.Wenzhe Ma Guohui Wu Hui Zheng Wenjuan Zhang Zhihang Peng Rongbin Yu NingWang 2016The Journal of Biomedical Research2016,30,2:9
2High-dimensional orbital angular momentum multiplexing nonlinear holography显示文摘Nonlinear holography has been identified as a vital platform for optical multiplexing holography because of the appearance of new optical frequencies.However,due to nonlinear wave coupling in nonlinear optical processes,the nonlinear harmonic field is coupled with the input field,laying a fundamental barrier to independent control of the interacting fields for holography.We propose and experimentally demonstrate high-dimensional orbital angular momentum(OAM)multiplexing nonlinear holography to overcome this problem.By dividing the wavefront of the fundamental wave into different orthogonal OAM channels,multiple OAM and polarization-dependent holographic images in both the fundamental wave and second-harmonic wave have been reconstructed independently in the spatial frequency domain through a type-II second harmonic generation process.Moreover,this method can be easily extended to cascadedχ2 nonlinear optical processes for multiplexing in more wavelength channels,leading to potential applications in multicasting in optical communications,multiwavelength display,multidimensional optical storage,anticounterfeiting,and optical encryption.Xinyuan Fang Haocheng Yang Wenzhe Yao Tianxin Wang Yong Zhang Min Gu Min Xiaoa 2021Advanced Photonics2021,3,1:8

4P-doped BN nanosheets decorated graphene as the functional interlayer for Li–S batteries显示文摘Lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries have attracted much attention due to their ultrahigh theoretical specific capacity.However,serious capacity attenuation caused by shuttle effect still inhibits the performance improvement.Herein,a modified separator consists of the few-layer graphene as a highly conductive network and stable scaffold to support P-doped boron nitride(denoted as BN-P@GO)as the functional interlayer of Li–S batteries.The cell with the interlayer provides an initial discharge capacity as high as1045.3 mAh g^-1,and retains a high reversible capacity of 728.7 mAh g^-1 at 1 C after 500 cycles with a capacity decay of 0.061%per cycle.Moreover,the rate capability is also superior to cells with BN@GO or BN-P interlayers,i.e.reversible capcity of 457.9 mAh g^-1 even at 3 C.The excellent electrochemical performance is ascribed to the synergistic effect of physical barrier and chemical adsorption for dissolved polysulfides provided by the modified layer.Furhtermore,it also mitigates the polarization and promotes kinetic reactions of the cells.This work provides a concise and effective method for commercialization of lithium–sulfur batteries.Jing Zhang Wenzhe Ma Zhenyu Feng Fangfang Wu Denghu Wei Baojuan Xi Shenglin Xiong 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,12:7

6Effects of tetrakis (hydroxymethyl) phosphonium sulfate pretreatment on characteristics of sewage sludge显示文摘Recently, tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium sulfate(THPS) was found to play an important role in the sludge pretreatment process. However, the effects of THPS pretreatment on the characteristics of sewage sludge are still insufficiently understood.The properties of sludge after pretreatment with different concentrations of THPS were investigated in this study. The results showed that pH, dewatering ability, and particle size of sludge decreased with increase in THPS concentration. The volatile suspended solids(VSS) and total suspended solids(TSS) of sludge also decreased slightly with increase in THPS concentration. The specific oxygen uptake rate(SOUR) results suggested that lower THPS concentrations(≤ 1.87 mg/g VSS) enhanced the activity of sludge, but higher concentrations(≥ 1.87 mg/g VSS) inhibited it. Gram-negative bacteria with peritrichous flagellation(such as Pseudomonas, Escherichia, and Faecalibacterium) were extremely sensitive to THPS. The decrease in specific most probable numbers(MPNs) of pathogens(total coliforms and Escherichia coli) with the increase in THPS concentration also proved the sterilization ability of THPS in the sludge pretreatment process. 9Novel internal photoemission in manganite/ZnO heterostructure显示文摘A novel photovoltaic phenomenon of internal photoemission was found in a low cost manganite La0.62Ca0.29K 0.09MnO3 (LCKMO)/zinc oxide (ZnO) heterojunction bilayers grown on ITO substrate by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) at relative low growth temperature. The heterostructure ITO/LCKMO/ZnO/Al exhibits reproducible rectifying characteristics and light current under continuous laser irradiation of = 325 nm. We report here the influence of LCKMO/ZnO bilayers' thickness on the electrical and photoelectric properties of the heterostructure at room temperature. The power conversion efficiency (PCE) is achieved when the LCKMO and ZnO layers are thin enough or the full space charge layer is sufficient. We obtained the maximum value of PCE of 0.0145% when the thicknesses of LCKMO and ZnO layers are 25 and 150 nm, respectively. 10Geochemistry of borehole cutting shale and natural gas accumulation in the deepwater area of the Zhujiang River Mouth-Qiongdongnan Basin in the northern South China Sea显示文摘The Qiongdongnan Basin and Zhujiang River(Pearl River) Mouth Basin, important petroliferous basins in the northern South China Sea, contain abundant oil and gas resource. In this study, on basis of discussing impact of oil-base mud on TOC content and Rock-Eval parameters of cutting shale samples, the authors did comprehensive analysis of source rock quality, thermal evolution and control effect of source rock in gas accumulation of the Qiongdongnan and the Zhujiang River Mouth Basins. The contrast analysis of TOC contents and Rock-Eval parameters before and after extraction for cutting shale samples indicates that except for a weaker impact on Rock-Eval parameter S_2, oil-base mud has certain impact on Rock-Eval S_1, Tmax and TOC contents. When concerning oil-base mud influence on source rock geochemistry parameters, the shales in the Yacheng/Enping,Lingshui/Zhuhai and Sanya/Zhuhai Formations have mainly Type Ⅱ and Ⅲ organic matter with better gas potential and oil potential. The thermal evolution analysis suggests that the depth interval of the oil window is between 3 000 m and 5 000 m. Source rocks in the deepwater area have generated abundant gas mainly due to the late stage of the oil window and the high-supper mature stage. Gas reservoir formation condition analysis made clear that the source rock is the primary factor and fault is a necessary condition for gas accumulation. 11Preparation of Solid Waste-Based Activated Carbon and Its Adsorption Mechanism for Toluene显示文摘Regenerated activated carbon(RAC)samples were prepared by carbon activation using waste activated carbon from solid waste resources as the carbon source precursor coupled with adding alkaline additives,and then were further modified by potassium ferrate to finally prepare high-performance carbon for VOCs adsorption.At the same time,the samples before and after modification were systematically studied through characterization techniques such as SEM,Raman spectrometry,FT-IR,XPS,and dynamic/static adsorption.The results showed that the specific surface area and pore volume of the RAC after modification by the strong oxidant potassium ferrate increased by 1.4 times;the degree of defects was enhanced and the content of oxygen-containing functional groups on the surface increased significantly.Among them,the sample modified with potassium ferrate for 24 h had the best dynamic toluene adsorption performance(375.5 mg/g),and the dynamic adsorption capacity was twice that of the original sample(192.8 mg/g).The static adsorption test found that the maximum adsorption capacity of RAC-6%K_(2)FeO_(4)+H_(2)SO_(4)-24h was 796 mg/g,which indicated that the potassium ferrate modification treatment could significantly increase the VOCs adsorption performance of RAC.In addition,through consecutive toluene adsorption-desorption cycle tests,it was found that the RAC-6%K_(2)FeO_(4)+H_(2)SO_(4)-24h sample still retained 91%of adsorption activity after the fifth regeneration cycle.This indicates that RAC-6%K_(2)FeO_(4)+H_(2)SO_(4)-24h has good cycle stability and great application value for the efficient purification of industrial waste VOCs gas.Li Zhi Li Yunpeng Liu Jun Si Wenzhe Zhang Yongfa Li Junhua 2022China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2022,24,1:2

14Competing reduction induced homogeneous oxygen doping to unlock MoS_(2)basal planes for faster polysulfides conversion显示文摘The parasitic polysulfides shuttle effect greatly hinders the practical application of lithium sulfur batteries,and this issue can be addressed by promoting polysulfides conversion with catalytic materials such as Mo S_(2).However,the catalytic activity of Mo S_(2)mainly relies on edge sites,but is limited by inert basal planes.We herein report a novel,facile,ethylene glycol enabled competing reduction strategy to dope Mo S_(2)homogeneously with oxygen atoms so that its inert basal planes can be unlocked.Ethylene glycol works as a reducing agent and competes with thiourea to react with ammonium molybdate,leading to insufficient sulfuration of Mo,and consequent formation of O-Mo S_(2).Our theoretical and experimental investigations indicate that the homogeneously distributed O dopants can create abundant adsorption/-catalytic sites in the Mo S_(2)basal planes,enlarge the inter-plane distance to promote ion transport,and thus enhance the catalytic conversion of polysulfides.The oxygen doped Mo S_(2)(O-Mo S_(2))is supported on carbon nanosheets(CNS)and the composite(O-Mo S_(2)/CNS)is employed to modify the separator of Li-S battery.It gives the battery an initial discharge capacity of 1537 m Ah g-1at 0.2 C,and the battery retains a discharge capacity of 545 m Ah g-1after ultra-long 2000 cycles at 1 C,corresponding to a very small cyclic decay rate of 0.0237%.Even under a raising sulfur loading of 8.2 mg cm^(-2),the Li-S battery also delivers a high discharge capacity(554 m Ah g^(-1))with outstanding cycle stability(84.6%capacity retention)after 100 cycles at 0.5 C.Our work provides a novel,facile approach to fabricate highly catalytically active oxygen-doped Mo S_(2)for advanced Li-S batteries.Da Lei Wenzhe Shang Xu Zhang Yongpeng Li Xiaoshan Shi Shaoming Qiao Qian Wang Qiang Zhang Ce Hao Hui Xu Guohua Chen Gaohong He Fengxiang Zhang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10:1
15Phase characterisation of metalenses显示文摘Metalenses have emerged as a new optical element or system in recent years,showing superior performance and abundant applications.However,the phase distribution of a metalens has not been measured directly up to now,hindering further quantitative evaluation of its performance.We have developed an interferometric imaging phase measurement system to measure the phase distribution of a metalens by taking only one photo of the interference pattern.Based on the measured phase distribution,we analyse the negative chromatic aberration effect of monochromatic metalenses and propose a feature size of metalenses.Different sensitivities of the phase response to wavelength between the Pancharatnam-Berry phase-based metalens and propagation phase-reliant metalens are directly observed in the experiment.Furthermore,through phase distribution analysis,it is found that the distance between the measured metalens and the brightest spot of focusing will deviate from the focal length when the metalens has a low nominal numerical aperture,even though the metalens is ideal without any fabrication error.We also use the measured phase distribution to quantitatively characterise the imaging performance of the metalens.Our phase measurement system will help not only designers optimise the designs of metalenses but also fabricants distinguish defects to improve the fabrication process,which will pave the way for metalenses in industrial applications.Maoxiong Zhao Mu Ku Chen Ze-Peng Zhuang Yiwen Zhang Ang Chen Qinmiao Chen Wenzhe Liu Jiajun Wang Ze-Ming Chen Bo Wang Xiaohan Liu Haiwei Yin Shumin Xiao Lei Shi Jian-Wen Dong Jian Zi Din Ping Tsai 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,4:1

17Two-phase anaerobic co-digestion of dairy manure with swine manure显示文摘In order to solve the problems associated with high fiber content,and the ensuing lower biogas volume yield in anaerobic digestion of dairy manure,a study of the co-digestion of separated liquids from dairy manure combined with swine manure using a two-phase anaerobic digestion process was conducted.The influence of level of total solids(TS)and hydraulic retention time(HRT)of the mixed liquor on the specific methane production were studied.Three TS levels 8%,10%and 12%were investigated.Analysis of the results show that a maximum specific methane yield of 132.99 L/kg volatile solids(VS),can be obtained with a TS of 9%,an inoculation rate of 30%,the duration of hydrolytic acidification phase of 5 d,and an HRT of the methanogenic phase of 10 d.These findings could provide directions for improving the biogas production by performing the co-digestion of dairy manure with swine manure.Guan Zhengjun Sun Xianli Bi Lanping Li Wenzhe Zhang Ying Wang Zhigang 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,2:1
18Sulfur and nitrogen codoped cyanoethyl cellulose-derived carbon with superior gravimetric and volumetric capacity for potassium ion storage显示文摘We fabricated sulfur and nitrogen codoped cyanoethyl cellulose-derived carbons(SNCCs)with state-of-the-art electrochemical performance for potassium ion battery(PIB)and potassium ion capacitor(PIC)anodes.At 0.2,0.5,1,2,5,and 10 A g−1,the SNCC shows reversible capacities of 369,328,249,208,150,and 121 mA h g−1,respectively.Due to a high packing density of 1.01 g cm^(−3),the volumetric capacities are also uniquely favorable,being 373,331,251,210,151,and 122 mA h cm^(−3)at these currents,respectively.SNCC also shows promising initial Coulombic efficiency of 69.0%and extended cycling stability with 99.8%capacity retention after 1000 cycles.As proof of principle,an SNCC-based PIC is fabricated and tested,achieving 94.3Wh kg^(−1)at 237.5Wkg^(−1)and sustaining over 6000 cycles at 30 A g−1 with 84.5%retention.The internal structure of S and N codoped SNCC is based on highly dilated and defective graphene sheets arranged into nanometer-scale walls.Using a baseline S-free carbon for comparison(termed NCC),the role of S doping and the resultant dilated structure was elucidated.According to galvanostatic intermittent titration technique and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy analyses,as well as COMSOL simulations,this structure promotes rapid solid-state diffusion of potassium ions and a solid electrolyte interphase that is stable during cycling.X-ray diffraction was used to probe the ion storage mechanisms in SNCC,establishing the role of reversible potassium intercalation and the presence of KC36,KC24,and KC8 phases at low voltages.Guangzeng Cheng Wenzhe Zhang Wei Wang Huanlei Wang Yixian Wang Jing Shi Jingwei Chen Shuai Liu Minghua Huang David Mitlin 2022Carbon Energy2022,4,5:1
