| 2 | A conservative local discontinuous Galerkin method for the solution of nonlinear Schrdinger equation in two dimensions显示文摘In this study, we present a conservative local discontinuous Galerkin(LDG) method for numerically solving the two-dimensional nonlinear Schrdinger(NLS) equation. The NLS equation is rewritten as a firstorder system and then we construct the LDG formulation with appropriate numerical flux. The mass and energy conserving laws for the semi-discrete formulation can be proved based on different choices of numerical fluxes such as the central, alternative and upwind-based flux. We will propose two kinds of time discretization methods for the semi-discrete formulation. One is based on Crank-Nicolson method and can be proved to preserve the discrete mass and energy conservation. The other one is Krylov implicit integration factor(IIF) method which demands much less computational effort. | 3 | Revealing the critical effect of solid electrolyte interphase on the deposition and detriment of Co(Ⅱ) ions to graphite anode显示文摘'Dissolution,migration,and deposition'of transition metal ions (TMIs) result in capacity degradation of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs).Understanding such detrimental mechanism of TMIs is critical to the development of LIBs with long cycle life.In most previous works,TMIs were directly introduced into the electrolyte to investigate such a detrimental mechanism.In these cases,the TMIs are deposited directly on the fresh anode surface.However,in the practical battery system,the TMIs are deposited on the anode covered with solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) film.Whether the pre-presence of SEI film on anode surface influences the deposition and detriment of TMIs is unclear.In this work,the deposition of Co element on graphite anode with and without SEI film were systematically studied.The results clearly show that,in comparison with that of fresh graphite (SEI-free),the presence of SEI film aggravates the deposition of Co ions due to the Li^(+)–Co^(2+) ion exchange between the SEI and Co^(2+)-containing electrolyte without the driving of the electric field,leading to faster capacity fading of graphite anode.Therefore,how to regulate electrolytes and film-forming additives to design the components of SEI and prevent its exchange with TMIs,is a crucial way to inhibit the deposition and detriment of TMIs on graphite anode. | Qiming Xie Jiawei Chen Lidan Xing Xianggui Zhou Zekai Ma Binhong Wu Yilong Lin Hebing Zhou Weishan Li | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,6: | 2 |

| 10 | Degradation of platinum electrocatalysts for methanol oxidation by lead contamination显示文摘Platinum exhibits high electrocatalytic activity toward various reactions but might be poisoned by some species. This communication reports a new finding that the electrocatalytic activity of platinum for methanol oxidation will be largely lost in a lead-contaminated environment. This activity loss is demonstrated in an electrochemical cell using a lead counter electrode for measuring the activity of platinum electrode towards methanol oxidation. The recorded methanol oxidation current in this cell is significantly decreased compared with that using a platinum counter electrode. The possible mechanism is related to the adsorption of trace lead ions from the lead counter electrode, as confirmed by comparing the calculated binding energies of platinum and lead ions with oxygen ion. | 11 | Excitation orthogonalized upconversion nanoprobe for instant visual detection of trinitrotoluene显示文摘Excitation-emission orthogonalized luminescent upconversion nanoparticles(OUCNPs),which can respond to changes in external stimuli accordingly,show great promise in many intelligent applications.However,the construction of such materials mostly relies on the selective absorption of Nd3+and Yb3+at different wavelengths and the long-range energy migration between the layers,resulting in complex structures and limited orthogonal luminescence intensity.Herein,we developed a relatively simple structure of OUCNPs(β-NaErF4@NaLuF4@NaYF4:20%Yb,2%Er@NaLuF4),where the fluorescence emission switches from red to green when the excitation wavelength is shifted from 808 to 980 nm.This structure exhibits high-quality,independent,and non-interfering orthogonal luminescence properties without Nd3+sensitization and long-range energy migration.As a proof of concept,we demonstrate the application of the designed OUCNPs in anti-counterfeiting.We also prepared OUCNPs@PEI(PEI=polyethylenimine)self-referencing fluorescent probes to enable quantitative analysis of trinitrotoluene(TNT)in solution with a detection limit of 3.04μM.The probes can be made into test strips for portable on-site visual detection of TNT,and can also be used to image latent fingerprints and detect explosive residues in fingerprints simultaneously.The concept proposed in this work can be extended to the visual detection of a larger range of organic and biological molecules,and is highly promising for practical applications. | Xu Li Xu Zhao Xiaoyu Xu Yang Lu Jiahang Wu Fangmeng Liu Xu Yan Peng Sun Chenguang Wang Xianggui Kong Xiaomin Liu Geyu Lu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,1: | 0 |
| 12 | Highly improved cyclic stability of Ni-rich/Li batteries with succinic anhydride as electrolyte additive and underlying mechanism显示文摘Lithium-metal battery based on Ni-rich cathode provides high energy density but presents poor cyclic stability due to the unstable electrode/electrolyte interfaces on both cathode and anode.In this work,we report a new strategy to address this issue.It is found that the cyclic stability of Ni-rich/Li battery can be significantly improved by using succinic anhydride(SA) as an electrolyte additive.Specifically,the capacity retention of LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)/Li cell is improved from 14% to 83% after 200cycles at 1 C between 3.0 and 4.35 V by applying 5% SA.The underlying mechanism of SA contribution is understood by comparing the effects of malic anhydride(MA) and citraconic anhydride(CA), both of which share a similar molecular structure to SA but show different effects.On anode side,SA can but MA and CA cannot form a protective solid electrolyte interphase(SEI) on Li anode.On cathode side,three anhydrides can suppress the formation of hydrogen fluoride from electrolyte oxidation decomposition,but SA behaves best.Typically,MA shows adverse effects on the interface stability of Li anode and NCM811 cathode,which originates from its high acidity.Though the acidity of MA can be mitigated by substituting a methyl for one H atom at its C=C bond,the substituent CA cannot compete with SA in cyclic stability improvement of the cell,because the SEI resulting from CA is not as robust as that from SA,which is related to the binding energy of the SEI components.This understanding reveals the importance of the electrolyte acidity on the Ni-rich cathode and the robustness of the SEI on Li anode,which is helpful for rationally designing new electrolyte additives to further improve the cyclic stability of high-energydensity Ni-rich/Li batteries. | Shu Yang Guanjie Li Xiaoyan Lin Changyong Mo Xianggui Zhou Lijiao Quan Kuan Zhou Suli Li Hai Wang Weishan Li | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3: | 0 |
| 13 | Analysis of the genomic landscape of primary central nervous system lymphoma using whole-genome sequencing in Chinese patients显示文摘Primary central nervous system lymphoma(PCNSL)is an uncommon non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma with poor prognosis.This study aimed to depict the genetic landscape of Chinese PCNSLs.Whole-genome sequencing was performed on 68 newly diagnosed Chinese PCNSL samples,whose genomic characteristics and clinicopathologic features were also analyzed.Structural variations were identified in all patients with a mean of 349,which did not significantly influence prognosis.Copy loss occurred in all samples,while gains were detected in 77.9%of the samples.The high level of copy number variations was significantly associated with poor progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS).A total of 263 genes mutated in coding regions were identified,including 6 newly discovered genes(ROBO2,KMT2C,CXCR4,MYOM2,BCLAF1,and NRXN3)detected in≥10%of the cases.CD79B mutation was significantly associated with lower PFS,TMSB4X mutation and high expression of TMSB4X protein was associated with lower OS.A prognostic risk scoring system was also established for PCNSL,which included Karnofsky performance status and six mutated genes(BRD4,EBF1,BTG1,CCND3,STAG2,and TMSB4X).Collectively,this study comprehensively reveals the genomic landscape of newly diagnosed Chinese PCNSLs,thereby enriching the present understanding of the genetic mechanisms of PCNSL. | Xianggui Yuan Teng Yu Jianzhi Zhao Huawei Jiang Yuanyuan Hao Wen Lei Yun Liang Baizhou Li Wenbin Qian | 2023 | Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,5: | 0 |
| 14 | Construction of self-sensitized LiErF4:0.5%Tm^3+@LiYF4 upconversion nanoprobe for trace water sensing显示文摘LiErF4 was commonly used as a dipolar-coupled antiferromagnet,and was rarely considered as a luminescent material.Herein,we achieved the strong red upconversion emission of LiErF4 simply by an inert shell coating,i.e.,LiErF4@LiYF4.Owing to the unique and intrinsic ladder-like energy levels of Er3+ions,this LiErF4 core–shell nanostructures present red emission(~650 nm)under multi-band excitation in the near-infrared(NIR)region(~808,~980,and^1,530 nm).A brighter and monochromic red emission can be further obtained via doping 0.5%Tm3+into the LiErF4 core,i.e.,LiErF4:0.5%Tm3+@LiYF4.The enriched Er3+ions and strong monochromic red emission natures make LiErF4:0.5%Tm3+@LiYF4 nanocrystals very sensitive for trace water probing in organic solvents with detection limit of 30 ppm in acetonitrile,50 ppm in dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO),and 58 ppm in N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF)under excitation of 808 nm.Due to their superior chemical and physical stability,these nanoprobes exhibit excellent antijamming ability and recyclability,offering them suitable for real-time and long-term water monitoring. | Ling Zhang Xiaodan Li Wang Wang Xu Zhao Xu Yan Chenguang Wang Haoqiang Bao Yang Lu Xianggui Kong Fengmin Liu Xiaomin Liu Geyu Lu | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,10: | 0 |
| 15 | Composite B-cell and T-cell lymphomas:clinical,pathological,and molecular features of three cases and literature review显示文摘Composite lymphoma(CL)involving B-cell lymphoma and T-cell lymphoma is extremely rare.Herein,we report three such cases using immunohistochemistry,flow cytometry,and the next-generation sequencing(NGS)to identify the pathological and molecular characteristics of CL.In the first case,the patient was admitted to hospital for generalized pruritic maculopapular rash over the whole body.An excisional biopsy of the skin lesions showed T-cell lymphoma.At the same time,the staging bone marrow(BM)biopsy revealed a diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL).After R-CHOP(rituximab,cyclophosphamide,doxorubicin,vincristine,and prednisone)therapies,the patient produced a good response with substantial dissipation of the rashes and relief of skin.The other two patients were admitted to hospital due to lymphadenopathy and were diagnosed with DLBCL and follicular lymphoma(FL)after core needle biopsy of lymph nodes,BM biopsy,BM aspiration,and flow cytometry.Following R-CHOP and R-COP(rituximab,cyclophosphamide,vincristine,and prednisone)therapies,they achieved complete remission unconfirmed(CRu)and complete remission(CR).However,one or two years later,they suffered a relapse of lymphadenopathy.The shocking fact was that re-biopsy of lymphadenopathy revealed peripheral T-cell lymphoma(PTCL)and angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma(AITL).NGS findings identified DNA methyltransferase 3a(DNMT3a),isocitrate dehydrogenase 2(IDH2),Ras homolog gene family,member A(RHOA),splicing factor 3B subunit 1(SF3B1),and tumor protein p53(TP53)mutations.After immunochemotherapy,these patients achieved CRu and CR again.Nevertheless,they suffered a second relapse of T-cell lymphoma.Finally,they died due to progression of disease.We found that the occurrence of CL is associated with Epstein-Barr virus infection and DNMT3a,IDH2,and TP53 mutations,and the prognosis of the disease is closely related to the T-cell lymphoma components. | Xueli JIN Hui LIU Jing LI Xibin XIAO Xianggui YUAN Panpan CHEN Boxiao CHEN Yun LIANG Fengbo HUANG | 2023 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2023,24,8: | 0 |
