| 1 | Impairment of cognition and sleep after acute ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack in Chinese patients: design, rationale and baseline patient characteristics of a nationwide multicentre prospective registry显示文摘background and aim Cognitive impairment and sleep disorder are both common poststroke conditions and are closely related to the prognosis of patients who had a stroke.The Impairment of CognitiON and Sleep after acute ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack in Chinese patients(ICONS)study is a nationwide multicentre prospective registry to investigate the occurrence and associated factors of cognitive impairment and sleep disorder after acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)or transient ischaemic attack(TIA).Methods Consecutive AIS or TIA in-hospital patients within 7 days after onset were enrolled from 40 participating sites in China.Comprehensive baseline clinical and imaging data were collected prospectively.Blood and urine samples were also collected on admission and follow-up visits.Patients were interviewed face to face for cognition and sleep related outcomes at 2 weeks,3,6 and 12 months after AIS/TIA and followed up for clinical outcomes by telephone annually over 5 years.results Between August 2015 and January 2018,a total of 2625 patients were enrolled.92.65% patients had AIS and 7.35% patients had TIA.Overall,the average age was 61.04 years,and 72.38% patients were male.Median National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score was 3 in AIS patients.Conclusions The ICONS study is a large-scale nationwide prospective registry to investigate occurrence and the longitudinal changes of cognitive impairment and sleep disorder after AIS or TIA.Data from this registry may also provide opportunity to evaluate associated factors of cognitive impairment or sleep disorder after AIS or TIA and their impact on clinical outcome. | Yongjun Wang Xiaoling Liao Chunxue Wang Ning Zhang Lijun Zuo Yang Yang Yuesong Pan Xianglong Xiang Jing Jing Xia Meng Xingquan Zhao Yilong Wang Jiong Shi Hao Li | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,1: | 4 |
| 2 | Development and Evaluation of a Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification Assay for the Rapid Detection and Identification of Pectobacterium carotovorum on Celery in the Field显示文摘Pectobacterium carotovorum is the causal agent of bacterial soft rot in a wide range of vegetable host species.Once P.carotovorum infects the plant,the spread of the disease is difficult to control.In this study,a rapid and sensitive method based on loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP)was developed for detecting P.carotovorum in celery with soft rot using a primer set designed from the pmrA conserved sequence of P.carotovorum.The specificity of the LAMP primer set for P.carotovorum was extensively validated on both P.carotovorum strains and nontarget strains.The sensitivity was 1 pg of P.carotovorum genomic DNA,which demonstrated 10 times more sensitive than the conventional PCR assay.LAMP was also used to detect P.carotovorum in bacterial suspension.The lowest detection concentration was 104 CFU·mL^−1.In addition,a LAMP assay,in conjunction with a crude DNA extraction method,was successfully performed on P.carotovorum-infected samples derived from both artificially and naturally infected plants.In summary,the LAMP assay established in this study constitutes a simple,sensitive,and rapid method for the detection of P.carotovorum,and has potential application in the control of celery soft rot disease through early detection. | Yanxia Shi Zhiwen Jin Xianglong Meng Lixue Wang Xuewen Xie Ali Chai Baoju Li | 2020 | Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,5: | 3 |

| 4 | Real-time observation of vortex mode switching in a narrow-linewidth mode-locked fiber laser显示文摘Temporal and spatial resonant modes are always possessed in physical systems with energy oscillation.In ultrafast fiber lasers,enormous progress has been made toward controlling the interactions of many longitudinal modes,which results in temporally mode-locked pulses.Recently,optical vortex beams have been extensively investigated due to their quantized orbital angular momentum,spatially donut-like intensity,and spiral phase front.In this paper,we have demonstrated the first to our knowledge observation of optical vortex mode switching and their corresponding pulse evolution dynamics in a narrow-linewidth mode-locked fiber laser.The spatial mode switching is achieved by incorporating a dual-resonant acousto-optic mode converter in the vortex mode-locked fiber laser.The vortex mode-switching dynamics have four stages,including quiet-down,relaxation oscillation,quasi mode-locking,and energy recovery prior to the stable mode-locking of another vortex mode.The evolution dynamics of the wavelength shifting during the switching process are observed via the time-stretch dispersion Fourier transform method.The spatial mode competition through optical nonlinearity induces energy fluctuation on the time scale of ultrashort pulses,which plays an essential role in the mode-switching dynamic process.The results have great implications in the study of spatial mode-locking mechanisms and ultrashort laser applications. | Jiafeng Lu Fan Shi Linghao Meng Longkun Zhang Linping Teng Zhengqian Luo Peiguang Yan Fufei Pang Xianglong Zeng | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,7: | 2 |

| 10 | Genome sequence of Gossypium anomalum facilitates interspecific introgression breeding显示文摘Crop wild relatives are an important reservoir of natural biodiversity. However, incorporating wild geneticdiversity into breeding programs is often hampered by reproductive barriers and a lack of accurate genomicinformation. We assembled a high-quality, accurately centromere-anchored genome of Gossypium anomalum, a stress-tolerant wild cotton species. We provided a strategy to discover and transfer agronomicallyvaluable genes from wild diploid species to tetraploid cotton cultivars. With a (Gossypium hirsutum 3 G.anomalum)2 hexaploid as a bridge parent, we developed a set of 74 diploid chromosome segment substitution lines (CSSLs) of the wild cotton species G. anomalum in the G. hirsutum background. This set of CSSLsincluded 70 homozygous substitutions and four heterozygous substitutions, and it collectively containedabout 72.22% of the G. anomalum genome. Twenty-four quantitative trait loci associated with plant height,yield, and fiber qualities were detected on 15 substitution segments. Integrating the reference genome withagronomic trait evaluation of the CSSLs enabled location and cloning of two G. anomalum genes thatencode peroxiredoxin and putative callose synthase 8, respectively, conferring drought tolerance andimproving fiber strength. | 15 | Alternatingly stacked thin film electrodes-based compact aqueous hybrid electrochemical capacitors for hundred-volts AC line filtering显示文摘Filtering capacitor with compact configuration and a wide range of operating voltage has been attracting increasing attention for the smooth conversion of the electric signal in modern circuits.Lossless integration of capacitor units can be regarded as one of the efficient ways to achieve a wider voltage range,which has not yet been fully conquered due to the lack of rational designs of the electrode structure and integration technology.This study presents an alternatingly stacked assemble technology to conveniently fabricate compact aqueous hybrid integrated filtering capacitors on a large scale,in which a unit consists of rGO/MXene composite film as a negative electrode and PEDOT:PSS based film as a positive electrode.Benefiting from the synergistic effect of rGO and MXene components,and morphological characteristics of PEDOT:PSS,the capacitor unit exhibits outstanding AC line filtering with a large areal specific energy density of 1,015 μF V^(2)cm^(-2)(0.28 μW h cm^(-2)) at 120 Hz.After rational integration,the assembled capacitors present compact/lightweight configuration and lossless frequency response,as reflected by almost constant resistor-capacitor time constant of 0.2 ms and dissipation factor of 15% at120 Hz,identical to those of the single capacitor unit.Apart from standing alone steadily on a flower,a small volume(only 8.1 cm^(3)) of the integrated capacitor with 70 units connected in series achieves hundred-volts alternating current line filtering,which is superior to most reported filtering capacitors with sandwich configuration.This study provides insight into the fabrication and application of compact/ultralight filtering capacitors with lossless frequency response,and a wide range of operating voltage. | Lixia Wang Lingyu Zhao Meirong Song Lixia Xie Xiaopeng Wang Xin Li Yanjie Huang Min Wei Qiu Jin Xianglong Meng Yang Zhao | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3: | 0 |
| 16 | Clean-DM1, a Korean Polyherbal Formula, Improves High Fat Diet-Induced Diabetic Symptoms in Mice by Regulating IRS/PI3K/AKT and AMPK Expressionsin Pancreas and Liver Tissues显示文摘Objective:To investigate the effects of Clean-DM1(C-DM1),a polyherbal formulation of Radix Scrophulariae,Radix Astragali,Rhizoma Atractylodis,and Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae,on high-fat diet(HFD)-induced diabetes mice.Methods:The information about active components of C-DM1 extract and molecular mechanism was obtained from network pharmacology analysis.Main compounds of C-DM1 extract by high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS)analysis were conducted for quality control.For in vivo study,mice were induced diabetes by HFD for 12 weeks.The mice in the normal group(Nor)were maintained with a regular diet and treated with saline by gavage.The HFD model mice were randomly divided into 3 groups,including a HFD diabetic model group,a C-DM1 extract-administered group(C-DM1,500 mg/kg),and metformin-administered groups(Met,500 mg/kg),8 mice in each group.Food intake,body weight(BW),and fasting blood glucose(FBG)levels were recorded weekly for 4 weeks.After 4 weeks of treatment,alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),blood glucose,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)were determined using an automated clinical chemistry analyzer,and homeostatic model for assessing insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)levels and oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT)were detected.The histopathological changes of liver and pancreatic tissues were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining.Insulin receptor substrate(IRS)/phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase(PI3K)/protein kinase B(AKT)and adenosine 5'-monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK)expressions in liver and pancreas tissues were detected by Western blot analysis.Results:HPLC-MS identified dihydroisotanshinone,dihydroisotanshinone I,cryptotanshinone,harpagoside,and atractyloside A in C-DM1 extract.The administration of C-DM1 extract significantly decreased body weight,calorie intake,and the levels of blood glucose and insulin in the diabetic mice(P<0.05 or P<0.01).The C-DM1 extract administration improved the impaired glucose tolerance and insulin resistance in the diabetic mice and significantly decreased the levels of LDL-C,ALT and AST(P<0.01).The C-DM1 extract inhibited the histopathological changes of fatty liver and hyperplasia of pancreatic islets in the diabetic mice.The C-DM1 extract significantly increased the phosphorylation of IRS,AKT,and AMPK and the expression of PI3K in pancreas and liver tissues(P<0.05 or P<0.01),which was consistent with the analysis results of network pharmacology.Conclusion:C-DM1 extract improved diabetes symptoms in longterm HFD-induced mice by regulation of IRS/PI3K/AKT and AMPK expressions in pancreas and liver tissues,suggesting that C-DM1 formulation may help prevent the progression of T2DM. | Piao Wang Yi Liu Seok Yong Kang Chenzi Lyu Xiang Han Tianjun Ho Kyung Jae Lee Xianglong Meng Yong-Ki Park Hyo Won Jung | 2024 | Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2024,30,2: | 0 |

| 19 | Bioaccumulation and Elimination Rule of Prometryn inHard Clam Meretrix meretrix显示文摘The bioaccumulation and elimination rule of prometryn in hard clam Meretrix meretrix were studied under semi-static conditions. When the water temperature was(12±1) ℃, M. meretrix were exposed to the seawater containing 1, 10, and 100 μg/L prometryn. The content of prometryn in M. meretrix increased with the increase of exposed concentration, and both had significant positive correlation. The accumulation of prometryn in M. meretrix first increased then decreased, and finally fluctuated at a certain level. The maximum accumulation content was observed in M. meretrix when exposed to prometryn for 10, 14 and 18 d, and the maximum bioaccumulation factors(BCFs) were 22.9, 8.3 and 4.3, respectively. At the forth day of the elimination test, the content of prometryn in M. meretrix of each group were decreased above 50%. At the 22 ndday of the elimination test,the content of prometryn in M. meretrix were decreased to 8.7%, 5.6% and 2.6% of the initial content in the elimination test, respectively.
