| 1 | Growth response and toxic effects of three antibiotics on Selenastrum capricornutum evaluated by photosynthetic rate and chlorophyll biosynthesis显示文摘The effects of three types of antibiotics (erythromycin,ciprofloxacin and sulfamethoxazole) on the photosynthesis of freshwater algae,Selenastrum capricornutum Printz,were investigated by determining the growth rate,chloroplast pigments content,seven main precursors (including δ-aminolevulinic acid,porphobilinogen,uroporphyrinogen III,coproporphyrinogen III,protoporphyrin IX,Mg-proporphyrin IX and protochlorophyllide),and photosynthetic rate during chlorophyll biosynthesis.The antibiotics significantly decreased the growth rate,chlorophyll content,and photosynthetic rate.Erythromycin induced a decreasing effect at a concentration of 0.06 mg/L,while ciprofloxacin and sulfamethoxazole achieved the same results at concentrations higher than 1.5 mg/L.Only erythromycin significantly inhibited chlorophyll biosynthesis,which indicated that it was considerably more toxic to S.capricornutum than ciprofloxacin and sulfamethoxazole,and may pose a high potential risk to aquatic ecosystems. | Binyang Liu Weiqiu Liu Xiangping Nie Chao Guan Yufeng Yang Zhaohui Wang Wei Liao | 2011 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,9: | 11 |
| 2 | Study on the recovery of ionic liquids from dilute effluent by electrodialysis method and the fouling of cation-exchange membrane显示文摘With the wide application of ionic liquids(ILs)in various fields,developing efficient techniques to recover ILs from effluent is an urgent demand for the cost reduction and the environmental protection.In this study,an electrodialysis(ED)method was used to recover 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride([Bmim]Cl)IL from aqueous solution as model effluent.The influences of initial IL concentration and applied voltage on the current efficiency,removal ratio,desalination ratio,membrane flux and specific energy consumption during the ED process were investigated.It was found that the removal ratio and desalination ratio increases with the increasing of initial IL concentration and applied voltage.The current efficiency decreases with the increasing of initial IL concentration and the current efficiency reached the maximum value of 94.3%at 25 V.Besides,as the applied voltage increases,the membrane flux increases and the specific energy consumption decreases.Moreover,the fouling of cation-exchange membrane was also discovered after the desalination of IL.The deposits on the surface or into the membrane which is probably caused by[Bmim]+was characterized by scanning electron microscopy,elemental analysis and Fourier transform infrared. | BAI Lu WANG XiaoLiang NIE Yi DONG HaiFeng ZHANG XiangPing ZHANG SuoJiang | 2013 | Science China Chemistry2013,56,12: | 4 |

| 4 | Effects of Nitrogen Sources and Concentrations on the Growth of Different Phytoplankton Taxa显示文摘Effects of different nitrogen(N)compounds and concentrations on the growth of the three different phytoplankton taxa,Skeletonema costatum(Bacillariophyceae),Prorocentrum micans(Dinophyceae),and Chattonella marina(Raphidophyceae),were investigated.The Monod equation was applied to examine effects of N concentrations on the growth of algal cells.Results showed that nitrate(NO_(3)-N)and urea served as good N sources for the three phytoplankton taxa.S.costatum grew well on all of the seven N sources.C.marina can effectively use the two amino acids,glycine(Gly)and serine(Ser),however cannot utilize alanine(Ala),threonine(Thr),and asparaginic acid(Asp).P.micans cannot grow in five amino acid substrates.All of the three phytoplankton taxa grew well under different proportions of urea-N,and C.marina grew significantly better in medium with both NO_(3)-and urea-N.The values of maximum growth rate(μmax)and half-saturation nutrient concentration(KS)for NO_(3)-N were 0.71 divisions d−1 and 53.55μmolL^(−1) for S.costatum,0.67 divisions d−1 and 23.31μmolL^(−1) for P.micans,and 0.23 divisionsd−1 and 17.57μmolL^(−1) for C.marina,respectively.The results suggested that S.costatum had a high N demand for growth,and was capable of using wide ranges of N compounds.The strategy of N utilization for S.costatum may make this species an advantage in N-enriched sea areas especially the dissolved organic nitrogen(DON)rich coastal waters,which might be the reason why S.costatum widely distributes in the cosmo-politan coastal and estuarine sea areas. | LIU Lei WANG Zhaohui WANG Chaofan LI Weiguo NIE Xiangping | 2021 | Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,3: | 1 |
| 5 | Multi-objective optimization of methane production system from biomass through anaerobic digestion显示文摘This work addressed the multi-objective optimization of a biogas production system considering both environmental and economic criteria. A mixed integer non-linear programming(MINLP) model was established and solved with non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ, from which the Pareto fronts, the optimal technology combinations and operation conditions were obtained and analyzed. It's found that the system is feasible in both environmental and economic considerations after optimization. The most expensive processing section is decarbonization; the most expensive equipment is anaerobic digester; the most power-consuming processing section is digestion, followed by decarbonization and waste management. The positive green degree value on the process is attributed to processing section of digestion and waste management. 3:1 chicken feces and corn straw, solar energy, pressure swing adsorption and 3:1 chicken feces and rice straw, solar energy, pressure swing adsorption are turned out to be two robust technology combinations under different prices of methane and electricity by sensitivity analysis. | 10 | Structural,electrical and photoluminescence properties of Er^3+-doped SrBi4Ti4O15-Bi4Ti3O12 inter-growth ceramics显示文摘Er^3+-doped SrBi4Ti4O15-Bi4Ti3O12(SBT-BIT-xEr^3+,x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15 and 0.20)inter-growth ceramics were synthesized by the solid-state reaction method.Structural,electrical and up-conversion properties of SBT-BIT-xEr^3+ were investigated.All samples showed a single phase of the orthorhombic structure.Raman spectroscopy indicated that the Er^3+ substitution for Bi^3+ at A sites of the pseudo-perovskite layer increases the lattice distortion of SBT-BIT-xEr^3+ ceramics.The substitution of Bi^3+ by Er^3+ leads to a decrease of dielectric loss tanδ and an increase of conductivity activation energy.Piezoelectric constant d33 was slightly improved,but dielectric constant was decreased with the Er^3+ doping.The SBT-BIT-xEr^3+ ceramic with x=0.15 exhibits the optimized electrical behavior(d33~17 pC/N,tanδ~0.83%).Moreover,two bright green(532 and 548 nm)and one red(670 nm)emission bands were observed under the 980 nm excitation.Optimized emission intensity was also obtained when x=0.15 for the SBT-BIT-xEr^3+ ceramic.Therefore,this kind of ceramics ought to be promising candidates for multifunctional optoelectronic applications. | Fang LIU Xiangping JIANG Chao CHEN Xin NIE Xiaokun HUANG Yunjing CHEN Hao HU Chunyang SU | 2019 | Frontiers of Materials Science2019,13,1: | 0 |
