| 2 | Optimal dietary copper requirements and relative bioavailability for weanling pigs fed either copper proteinate or tribasic copper chloride显示文摘Background: The objective of this study was to determine the effects of supplementing Cu on growth performance, Cu metabolism and Cu-related enzyme activities of weanling pigs fed diets with two different Cu sources, and to estimate optimal Cu requirements and relative bioavailability from these two sources for pigs.Methods: Weanling pigs were allocated to 14 treatments arranged factorially, including 6 added Cu levels(5, 10,20, 40, 80, 160 mg/kg), and 2 mineral sources(tribasic Cu chloride, TBCC and copper proteinate, Cu Pro), as well as one negative control(0 mg/kg added Cu level) and one maximum allowed level treatment(200 mg/kg TBCC) for the entire 38-d experiment. Growth performance, mineral status and enzyme activities were measured at the end of this study.Results: Increasing levels of Cu showed linear and quadratic responses(P < 0.01) for final BW, ADG and FCR regardless of the sources. Supplementation with TBCC(> 80 mg/kg) and Cu Pro(> 20 mg/kg) significantly decreased(P < 0.05) diarrhea incidence of weanling pigs. There were linear and quadratic increases(P < 0.01) in bile, hepatic,and intestinal Cu concentrations, fecal Cu contents, and plasma enzyme activities(alkaline phosphatase,ceruloplasmin, Cu, Zn-Superoxide dismutase(Cu/Zn SOD), and glutathione peroxidase), whereas plasma malondialdehyde decreased(P < 0.01) linearly and quadratically as dietary Cu level increased. Similarly, pigs fed Cu Pro absorbed and retained more Cu and excreted less Cu than those fed TBCC when supplemented 80 mg/kg and above. Optimal dietary Cu requirements for pigs from 28 to 66 d of age estimated based on fitted broken-line models(P < 0.05) of bile Cu, plasma Cu/Zn SOD and growth performance were 93–140 mg/kg from TBCC, and 63–98 mg/kg from Cu Pro accordingly. According to slope ratios from multiple linear regression, the bioavailability value of Cu Pro relative to TBCC(100%) was 156–263%(P < 0.01).Conclusion: The findings indicated that Cu recommendation from current NRC(5–6 mg/kg) was not sufficient to meet the high requirement of weanling pigs. | 3 | Energy Consumption Prediction of a CNC Machining Process With Incomplete Data显示文摘Energy consumption prediction of a CNC machining process is important for energy efficiency optimization strategies.To improve the generalization abilities,more and more parameters are acquired for energy prediction modeling.While the data collected from workshops may be incomplete because of misoperation,unstable network connections,and frequent transfers,etc.This work proposes a framework for energy modeling based on incomplete data to address this issue.First,some necessary preliminary operations are used for incomplete data sets.Then,missing values are estimated to generate a new complete data set based on generative adversarial imputation nets(GAIN).Next,the gene expression programming(GEP)algorithm is utilized to train the energy model based on the generated data sets.Finally,we test the predictive accuracy of the obtained model.Computational experiments are designed to investigate the performance of the proposed framework with different rates of missing data.Experimental results demonstrate that even when the missing data rate increases to 30%,the proposed framework can still make efficient predictions,with the corresponding RMSE and MAE 0.903 k J and 0.739 k J,respectively. | Jian Pan Congbo Li Ying Tang Wei Li Xiaoou Li | 2021 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021，8，5： | 4 |
| 4 | Impact of friction stir welding on recrystallization of oxide dispersion strengthened ferritic steel显示文摘Oxide dispersion strengthened(ODS) steels can be used as the structural materials in the future fusion reactors and the fuel cladding materials in the advanced fission reactors. However, the weldability of ODS steels is a severe problem. In the present study, defect-free joints of the 15Cr-ODS ferritic steel were achieved by friction stir welding at different rotation speeds. The recrystallization, hardness and tensile properties are highly related with the rotation speed of the stir tool. The higher rotation speed results in coarser grains in the top SZ, while the grain size exhibits more complicated relation with the rotation speed in the SZ center. | 7 | Genistein modulates MMP-26 and estrogen receptor expression in endometrial cancer cells显示文摘Objective:To explore the mechanism of the estrogen-like effect of genistein by observing the expression of Matrix metalloproteinases-26(MMP-26)and ERa in human endometrial cancer cells(Ishikawa and HEC-1B)in vitro.Methods:The effect of genistein on MMP-26 and ERa expression was examined by western blot in cultured Ishikawa and HEC-1B cells.Additionally,the effects of genistein on ERa-ERE-luc and ERb-ERE-luc reporter gene expression in HEC-1B cells were analyzed by luciferase activity assays.Results:MMP-26 and ERa protein expression was down-regulated by genistein treatment in Ishikawa cell induced by high concentration E2,whereas MMP-26 and ERa protein expression was up-regulated by genistein treatment in Ishikawa cells induced by low concentration E2.Expression of the ERa-ERE-luc and ERb-ERE-luc reporter genes was significantly increased after E2 induction and was further up-regulated by genistein.Expression of ERa-ERE-luc and ERb-ERE-luc reporter genes decreased significantly following genistein treatment in high E2 concentrations,and increased significantly following genistein treatment in low E2 concentrations.Conclusions:Genistein showed estrogen-like effects in endometrial cancer cells and influenced estrogen receptor signaling by modulating ERa and ERb expression. | Xiaoli Liu Xiaoou Xue Hao Wang Xiaomei Xu | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2016，3，4： | 2 |
| 8 | Efficient Currency Determination Algorithms for Dynamic Data显示文摘Data quality is an important aspect in data application and management, and currency is one of the major dimensions influencing its quality. In real applications, datasets timestamps are often incomplete and unavailable,or even absent. With the increasing requirements to update real-time data, existing methods can fail to adequately determine the currency of entities. In consideration of the velocity of big data, we propose a series of efficient algorithms for determining the currency of dynamic datasets, which we divide into two steps. In the preprocessing step, to better determine data currency and accelerate dataset updating, we propose the use of a topological graph of the processing order of the entity attributes. Then, we construct an Entity Query B-Tree(EQB-Tree) structure and an Entity Storage Dynamic Linked List(ES-DLL) to improve the querying and updating processes of both the data currency graph and currency scores. In the currency determination step, we propose definitions of the currency score and currency information for tuples referring to the same entity and use examples to discuss methods and algorithms for their computation. | 9 | Flavonoids from Scutellaria barbata inhibit activation of tumor-associated macrophages by blocking the Toll-like receptor 4/myeloid differentiation factor 88/nuclear factor-κB signaling pathway显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To determine the efficacy of Scutellaria barbata flavonoids and polysaccharides on Ishikawa endometrial carcinoma cells co-cultured with U937 macrophages.METHODS: The presence of CD163 and CD206 was determined by flow cytometry. Thiazolyl Blue Tetrazolium Bromide assays were used to assess the proliferation effect of tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs) on Ishikawa cells. The secretion of interleukin(IL)-10 in the co-culture conditioned media was examined using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The protein expression levels of Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4), myeloid differentiation factor 88(MyD88) and nuclear factor(NF)-κB p65 were detected by Western blot. The mRNA expression levels of TLR4 and MyD88 were analyzed by real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR). The expression levels of IL-12, IL-1β and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) were evaluated with real-time PCR.RESULTS: Compared with the U937 control group,the expression levels of CD163 and CD206 in the TAM group were higher(P < 0.05). TAMs co-cultured with Ishikawa cells for 24 or 48 h showed higher proliferation rates(P < 0.05). The expression levels of IL-12 decreased than compared with those in the U937 untreated group(P <0.05) and those of the Scutellaria barbata flavonoids group(P < 0.05). | 10 | Mode characteristics of silver-coated inverted-wedge silica microdisks显示文摘The characteristics of whispering gallery modes(WGM) in silver-coated inverted-wedge silica microdisks are theoretically investigated by using finite element method. Dielectric TE mode always exists in silver-coated inverted-wedge resonators; dielectric TM mode tends to couple with SPP modes; only pure interior surface plasmonic polariton(SPP) mode but not pure exterior SPP mode is observed in contrast to the metal-coated cylindrical and toroidal resonators. The dependence of quality factor of different kinds of WGMs on the radius of the resonator and the thickness of the coated silver layer are systematically analyzed. We find that the quality factors of the hybrid WGMs associated with SPP mode can reach 104. The maximum light intensity enhancement in ambient for a hybrid mode consisting of a dielectric TM mode and an exterior SPP mode can be obtained when a silver film of thickness ~40 nm is deposited.
