| 1 | Antimony speciation in the environment:Recent advances in understanding the biogeochemical processes and ecological effects显示文摘Antimony(Sb) is a toxic metalloid, and its pollution has become a global environmental problem as a result of its extensive use and corresponding Sb-mining activities. The toxicity and mobility of Sb strongly depend on its chemical speciation. In this review, we summarize the current knowledge on the biogeochemical processes(including emission, distribution,speciation, redox, metabolism and toxicity) that trigger the mobilization and transformation of Sb from pollution sources to the surrounding environment. Natural phenomena such as weathering, biological activity and volcanic activity, together with anthropogenic inputs, are responsible for the emission of Sb into the environment. Sb emitted in the environment can adsorb and undergo redox reactions on organic or inorganic environmental media, thus changing its existing form and exerting toxic effects on the ecosystem. | 2 | A review of removal technology for antimony in aqueous solution显示文摘Antimony(Sb)and its compounds,toxic metalloid,have been classified as high-priority pollutants.Increasing Sb released into the water environment by natural processes and anthropogenic activities,which exposure threatens to human health and ecosystems.Therefore,it is of unquestionable importance to remove Sb from polluted water.Keeping in view the extreme importance of this issue,we summarize the source,chemistry,speciation,distribution,toxicity,and polluted situation of Sb about aqueous solution.Then,we provide the recent and common technology to remove Sb,which are based on adsorption,coagulation/flocculation,electrochemical technology,membrane technology,ion exchange,etc.In this review,we focus in detail on the adsorption method,researchers at present have been investigating to discover more advanced,cost-effective,eco-friendly,reusable adsorbents.However,to date the Sb-containing wastewater treatment technologies are not sufficiently developed and most of research have been tested only in controlled lab conditions.Few reports are available that include field studies and applications.We critically analyzed the salient features and removal mechanisms,evaluating benefits and limitations of these technologies,hoping to provide more references for further research.Finally,we considered the Fe-or Mn-based technologies was the most promising technique to remove Sb for field application. | Xiaojing Long Xin Wang Xuejun Guo Mengchang He | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,4: | 20 |
| 3 | The enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP显示文摘In this paper we present the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry mission—eXTP. eXTP is a space science mission designed to study fundamental physics under extreme conditions of density, gravity and magnetism. The mission aims at determining the equation of state of matter at supra-nuclear density, measuring effects of QED, and understanding the dynamics of matter in strong-field gravity. In addition to investigating fundamental physics, eXTP will be a very powerful observatory for astrophysics that will provide observations of unprecedented quality on a variety of galactic and extragalactic objects. | 5 | Kinetics model for leaching of ion-adsorption type rare earth ores显示文摘This paper aims to establish a mathematical model that can analyze the whole leaching kinetics process of ion-adsorption type rare earth ores.This leaching process is composed of three steps:(1)ammonium ions arrive at the ore particle surface through the diffusion layer;(2)ammonium ions exchange with rare earth ions;and(3)rare earth ions enter into the external solution through the diffusion layer.In the leaching process,it is hypothesized that the ore particle size remains constant The process of ammonium ions and rare earth ions passing through the diffusion layer was described by the Fick law,and the reversible ion exchange process between ammonium ions and rare earth ions was described by the Kerr model,A leaching kinetics model of rare earth ions by ammonium ions was constructed.Accuracy of this kinetics model was verified with laboratory tests.It is found that the correlation coefficients of all data are greater than 0.9000.The proposed kinetics model is therefore feasible for kinetics analysis throughout the leaching process. | Ping Long Guanshi Wang Chao Zhang Yaojie Yang Xiaojing Cao Zibo Shi | 2020 | Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,12: | 5 |

| 9 | Reservoir Characteristics of Fine-grained Sedimentary Rocks in Saline Lakes in the Cenozoic Upper Ganchaigou Formation,Southwestern Qaidam Basin,NW China显示文摘Cenozoic fine-grained sedimentary rocks in the southwestern Qaidam Basin,as typical salinized lacustrine sediments,are significantly different from those in other freshwater lakes under the impact of the high salinity in the lake.Many fine-grained sedimentary rock samples were selected from the lower member of Neogene(N_(1))in the Gaskule Oilfield,Qaidam Basin,northwest China,with the aim to analyze and test their petrology,pore structure,and organic geochemical characteristics and determine its genesis and geological significance.Based on previous results,a new genesis of mixed sedimentary rocks is proposed.The Cenozoic lacustrine fine-grained sedimentary rocks in SW Qaidam Basin belong to mixed sedimentary rocks,which can be divided into three types,including carbonate and terrigenous clastic-bearing mudstone,carbonate-bearing to terrigenous clastic mixed sedimentary rocks,and carbonate-terrigenous clastic mixed sedimentary rocks.The geneses of mixing are quite different from that of mixed marine rocks.According to the sedimentary characteristics of the salinized lakes,three new geneses of mixed deposits are proposed:syn-sedimentary mixing,varve interbedded mixing,and biogenic mixing.The reservoir spaces of the Cenozoic lacustrine fine-grained sedimentary rocks in SW Qaidam Basin include residual intergranular pores,intercrystalline pores,microfractures,and minor dissolved pores.The reservoirs have super-low porosity and ultra-low permeability,with a porosity of 1.82%-21.04%,averaging 7.71%,and permeability of(0.0028-254.86)×10^(−3)μm^(2),averaging 2.82×10^(−3)μm^(2).The test results of total organic carbon(TOC)content show that the highest content of organic carbon reached 1.41%,and those of vitrinite reflectance show that Ro ranges from 0.525%-0.824%,with an average of 0.806%.The organic geochemical characteristics show that the fine-grained mixed sedimentary rocks of SW Qaidam Basin have the potential for self-generation and self-storage.As an unconventional reservoir,it has potential industrial value.This is the first study of fine-grained sedimentary rocks in the Qaidam Basin,which offers certain theoretical and practical values. | SHENG Jun LIU Jincheng LI Yunlong ZOU Haiyan LONG Anlin WANG Lin LI Jiyong QI Qingshan YANG Xiaojing LI Yanan | 2022 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,3: | 1 |

| 12 | S-doped porous carbon fibers with superior electrode behaviors in lithium ion batteries and fuel cells显示文摘The orientation construction of S-doped porous carbon fibers(SPCFs)is realized by the facile template-directed methodology using asphalt powder as carbon source.The unique fiber-like morphology without destruction can be well duplicated from the template by the developed methodology.MgSO4 fibers serve as both templates and S dopant,realizing the in-situ S doping into carbon frameworks.The effects of different reaction temperatures on the yield and S doping level of SPCFs are investigated.The S doping can not only significantly enhance the electrical conductivity,but also introduce more defects or disorders.As anode material for lithium ion batteries(LIBs),SPCFs electrode delivers better rate capability than undoped PCFs.And the capacity of SPCFs electrode retains around 90%after 300 cycles at 2 A g1,exhibiting good cycling stability.As the electrocatalysts for fuel cells,the onset potentials of SPCFs obtained at 800 and 900C are concentrated at 0.863 V,and the higher kinetic current densities at 0.4 V of them are larger than that of PCFs,demonstrating the superior electrocatalytic performance.Due to the synergistic effect of abundant pore channels and S doping,SPCFs electrode exhibits superior electrochemical performances as anode for LIBs and elecctrocatalyst for fuel cells,respectively.Additionally,the oriented conversion of asphalt powder into high-performance electrode material in this work provides a new way for the high value application of asphalt. | Peng Jin Long Li Xiaohu Gu Yanshao Hu Xiaojing Zhang Xiongchao Lin Xinlong Ma Xing He | 2022 | Materials Reports(Energy)2022,2,4: | 0 |
| 13 | Manipulating active layer morphology of molecular donor/polymer acceptor based organic solar cells through ternary blends显示文摘The development of molecular donor/polymer acceptor blend(MD/PA)-type organic solar cells(OSCs) lags far behind other type OSCs. It is due to the large-size phase separation morphology of MD/PAblend, which results from the high crystallinity of molecular donors. In this article, to suppress the crystallinity of molecular donors, we use ternary blends to develop OSCs based on one polymer acceptor(P-BNBP-f BT) and two molecular donors(DR3 TBDTT and BTR) with similar chemical structures.The ternary OSC exhibits a power conversion efficiency(PCE) of 4.85%, which is higher than those of the binary OSCs(PCE=3.60% or 3.86%). To our best knowledge, it is the first report of ternary MD/PA-type OSCs and this PCE is among the highest for MD/PA-type OSCs reported so far. Compared with the binary blends, the ternary blend exhibits decreased crystalline size and improved face-on orientation of the donors. As a result, the ternary blend exhibits improved and balanced charge mobilities, suppressed charge recombination and increased donor/acceptor interfacial areas, which leads to the higher shortcircuit current density. | 14 | A homopolymer based on double B←N bridged bipyridine as electron acceptor for all-polymer solar cells显示文摘Polymer electron acceptors for all-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs) are usually conjugated copolymers,which contain alternating electron-rich units and electron-deficient units. In this manuscript, we report a conjugated homopolymer(P-BNBP) based on an electron-deficient unit of double B ← N bridged bipyridine, which can be used as electron acceptor for all-polymer solar cells. P-BNBP shows low-lying LUMO energy level of-3.59 eV, high absorption coefficient of 1.6 × 10~5 Lmol^(-1)cm^(-1) at 626 nm and moderate electron mobility of 4.37 × 10^(-6)cm^2 V^(-1) s^(-1). All-PSC devices exhibit power conversion efficiencies of 2.44%-3.04%. | 16 | Vitamin D-binding protein in plasma microglia-derived extracellular vesicles as a potential biomarker for major depressive disorder显示文摘No well-established biomarkers are available for the clinical diagnosis of major depressive disorder(MDD).Vitamin D-binding protein(VDBP)is altered in plasma and postmortem dorsolateral prefrontal cortex(DLPFC)tissues of MDD patients.Thereby,the role of VDBP as a potential biomarker of MDD diagnosis was further assessed.Total extracellular vesicles(EVs)and brain cell-derived EVs(BCDEVs)were isolated from the plasma of first-episode drug-naïve or drug-free MDD patients and well-matched healthy controls(HCs)in discovery(20 MDD patients and 20 HCs)and validation cohorts(88 MDD patients and 38 HCs).VDBP level in the cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)from chronic glucocorticoid-induced depressed rhesus macaques or prelimbic cortex from lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced depressed mice and wild control groups was measured to evaluate its relationship with VDBP in plasma microglia-derived extracellular vesicles(MDEVs).VDBP was significantly decreased in MDD plasma MDEVs compared to HCs,and negatively correlated with HAMD-24 score with the highest diagnostic accuracy among BCDEVs.VDBP in plasma MDEVs was decreased both in depressed rhesus macaques and mice.A positive correlation of VDBP in MDEVs with that in CSF was detected in depressed rhesus macaques.VDBP levels in prelimbic cortex microglia were negatively correlated with those in plasma MDEVs in depressed mice.The main results suggested that VDBP in plasma MDEVs might serve as a prospective candidate biomarker for MDD diagnosis. | Gaojia Zhang Ling Li Yan Kong Dandan Xu Yu Bao Zhiting Zhang Zhixiang Liao Jiao Jiao Dandan Fan Xiaojing Long Ji Dai Chunming Xie Zhiqiang Meng Zhijun Zhang | 2024 | Genes & Diseases2024,11,2: | 0 |
