| 1 | Spatial and temporal distribution of acetochlor in sediments and riparian soils of the Songhua River Basin in northeastern China显示文摘The Songhua River Basin is a burgeoning agricultural area in the modern times in China.Particularly in recent years,increasing chemical fertilizers and pesticides have been applied with the development of agricultural production.However,the situation of nonpoint source pollution (NSP) from agricultural production in this basin is still obscure.In order to solve the problem,the occurrence and distribution of acetochlor in sediments and riparian soils of the Songhua River Basin before rain season and after rain season were investigated.In addition,total organic carbon was analyzed.The result showed that the concentration of acetochlor ranged from 0.47 to 11.76 μg/kg in sediments and 0.03 to 709.37 μg/kg in riparian soils.During the high flow period in 2009,the mean concentration was 4.79 μg/kg in sediments and 0.75 μg/kg in riparian soils,respectively.Similarly,the mean concentration was 2.53 μg/kg in sediments and 61.36 μg/kg in riparian soils,during the average flow period in 2010.There was a significant correlation between the concentration of acetochlor and total organic carbon in surface sediments.Moreover,the distribution of acetochlor in sediments of the Songhua River was significantly correlated to land use and topography of the watershed.The investigated data suggested that the concentration of acetochlor in the Songnen Plain and the Sanjiang Plain was higher than that in the other areas of the basin,and riparian buffering zones in these areas had been destroyed by human activities.The optimal agricultural measures to alleviate the contamination of pesticides should be adopted,including controlling agricultural application of acetochlor and ecological restoration of riparian buffering strips. | Xiaoyin Sun Qixing Zhou Wenjie Ren Xuhui Li Liping Ren | 2011 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,10: | 9 |
| 2 | Spatial-temporal Variation of Extreme Precipitation Events in Northwest China During 1961-2010显示文摘Using the daily precipitation data of 118 meteorological stations in Northwest China from January 1,1961 to December 31,2010,we analyzed extreme precipitation events from prime precipitation data by applying R-language Climate Index( RClimDex).The spatial-temporal change characteristics in the past 50 years have been examined using the method of trend analysis,Mann-Kendall and the spatial analysis module of Arcgis9.2.The results show that the spatial distribution of the indices for extreme precipitation in Northwest China is greatly influenced by geographic location,atmospheric circulation and topography,and the spatial difference of extreme precipitation events is very evident,while the indices reduce from the southeast to the northwest except Consecutive Dry Days( CDD).In Xinjiang region,high values appear in Tianshan Mountains and decrease towards the south and north respectively.In the past 50 years,the temporal variation tendency of the indices for extreme precipitation in Northwest China has a great spatial distinction.It shows that the variation tendency is opposite between the east( decrease) and the west( increase),and CDD has a decreasing tendency while other indices increase.For each region,it is found that the indices for extreme precipitation in Xinjiang and Qinghai Province shows an increasing trend,and it is remarkable in Tianshan Mountains,the north of Xinjiang and the northeast of Qinghai Province.The temporal variation tendency of the indices for extreme precipitation in Ningxia,Shaanxi and Gansu has a large spatial distinction.The stations which have an increasing tend are mainly found in the north of Ningxia,south of Shaanxi and Hexi Corridor of Gansu.However,the south of Ningxia,north of Shaanxi and Longnan of Gansu Province mainly present a decreasing trend.The temporal variation tendency of the indices for extreme precipitation in Inner Mongolia is not obvious.Overall,the east part of Northwest China has a dry tendency,while the west part has an opposite trend. | Lian Lishu Xu Shujing Li Zhifu Sun Xiaoyin | 2014 | Meteorological and Environmental Research2014,5,1: | 5 |
| 3 | Zooplankton composition and distribution in the Lembeh Strait of North Sulawesi, Indonesia显示文摘Based on oceanographic survey data in June 2012 in the Lembeh Strait, the zooplankton ecological characteristics such as species composition, individual abundance, dominant species and distribution were analyzed. The results showed that 183 species(including 4 sp.) had been recognized, most of them belonged to copepoda.Cnidaria followed with 43 species(including 1 sp.) were identified. The average abundance of zooplankton was(150.47±58.91) ind./m^3. As to the horizontal distribution, the abundance of the zooplankton was higher in the southern waters than in the northern waters. The dominant species in the study area were Lensia subtiloides,Sagitta enflata, Lucifer intermedius, Oikopleura rufescens, Diphyes chamissoni, Creseis acicula, Subeucalanus subcrassus, Temora discaudata, Aglaura hemistoma, Doliolum denticulatum, Canthocalanus pauper, Oikopleura longicauda and Nanomia bijuga. Zooplankton biodiversity indexes were higher in study area than previous study in the other regions. | 4 | MAP3K2 augments Th1 cell differentiation via IL-18 to promote T cell-mediated colitis显示文摘T cell-mediated immunity in the intestine is stringently controlled to ensure proper immunity against pathogenic microbes and to prevent autoimmunity,a known cause of inflammatory bowel disease.However,precisely how T cells regulate intestine immunity remains to be fully understood.In this study,we found that mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 2(MAP3K2)is required for the CD4^(+)T cell-mediated inflammation in the intestine.Using a T cell transfer colitis model,we found that MAP3K2-deficient naïve CD4^(+)T cells had a dramatically reduced ability to induce colitis compared to wild type T cells.In addition,significantly fewer IFN-γ-but more IL-17A-producing CD4^(+)T cells in the intestines of mice receiving MAP3K2-deficient T cells than in those from mice receiving wild type T cells was observed.Interestingly,under well-defined in vitro differentiation conditions,MAP3K2-deficient naïve T cells were not impaired in their ability to differentiate into Th1,Th17 and Treg.Furthermore,the MAP3K2-regulated colitis severity was mediated by Th1 but not Th17 cells in the intestine.At the molecular level,we showed that MAP3K2-mediated Th1 cell differentiation in the intestine was regulated by IL-18 and required specific JNK activation.Together,our study reveals a novel regulatory role of MAP3K2 in intestinal T cell immunity via the IL-18-MAP3K2-JNK axis and may provide a novel target for intervention in T cell-mediated colitis. | Ningbo Wu Dongping Chen Hongxiang Sun Jianmei Tan Yao Zhang Tianyu Zhang Yuheng Han Hongzhi Liu Xinxing Ouyang Xiao-Dong Yang Xiaoyin Niu Jie Zhong Zhengting Wang Bing Su | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,3: | 3 |
