1Dynamic genetic analysis for body weight and main length ratio in turbot Scophthalmus maximus显示文摘The objective of this study was to estimate genetic parameters of body width(BW)to body length(BL)ratio(BW/BL)and of body weight traits(BWT)in turbot,and to elucidate the genetic mechanism of the two traits during ontogeny by dynamic genetic analysis.From 3 to 27 months,BW,BL and BWT of each communally stocked fish were measured every 3 months.The BW/BL ratio was measured at different sampling ages.A twotrait animal model was used for genetic evaluation of traits.The results showed that the heritability values of BW/BL ratio ranged from 0.2168 to 0.3148,corresponding to moderate heritability.The BWT heritability values ranged from 0.2702 to 0.3479 corresponding to moderate heritability.The heritability of BW/BL ratio was lower than that of BWT,except at 3 months of age.Genetic correlation between BW/BL ratio and BWT decreased throughout the measurement period.Genetic correlations were higher than the phenotypic correlations.The current results for estimating genetic parameters demonstrate that the BW/BL ratio could be used as a phenotypic marker of fast-growing turbot,and the BW/BL ratio and BWT could be improved simultaneously through selective breeding.Xin’an Wang Aijun Ma 2020Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,2:0

3Implementation System of Human Eye Tracking Algorithm Based on FPGA显示文摘With the high-speed development of transportation industry,highway traffic safety has become a considerable problem.Meanwhile,with the development of embedded system and hardware chip,in recent years,human eye detection eye tracking and positioning technology have been more and more widely used in man-machine interaction,security access control and visual detection.In this paper,the high parallelism of FPGA was utilized to realize an elliptical approximate real-time human eye tracking system,which was achieved by the series register structure and random sample consensus(RANSAC),thus improving the speed of image processing without using external memory.Because eye images acquired by the camera often generate a lot of noises due to uneven light and dark background,the preprocessing technologies such as color conversion,image filtering,histogram modification and image sharpening were adopted.In terms of feature extraction of images,the eye tracking algorithm in this paper adopted seven-section rectangular eye tracking characteristic method,which increased a section between the mouth and the nose on the basis of the traditional six-section method,so its recognition accuracy is much higher.It is convenient for the realization of hardware parallel system in FPGA.Finally,aiming at the accuracy and real-time performance of the design system,a more comprehensive simulation test was carried out.The human eye tracking system was verified on DE2-115 multimedia development platform,and the performance of VGA(resolution:640×480)images of 8-bit grayscale was tested.The results showed that the detection speed of this system was about 47 frames per second under the condition that the detection rate of human face(front face,no inclination)was 93%,which reached the real-time detection level.Additionally,the accuracy of eye tracking based on FPGA system was more than 95%,and it has achieved ideal results in real-time performance and robustness.Zhong Liu Xin’an Wang Chengjun Sun Ken Lu 2019Computers, Materials & Continua2019,,3:0
4Numerical simulation of non-gaussian process of wind waves显示文摘In this paper further mathematical analysis on 'correlation transfer technique' by Polge el al. is carried out, the tenable conditions and the extent of suitability for the said method are proved as well. In consideration of the influence of skewness of the sea surface elevation on spectral shape, a 'quasi-correlation transfer techique' is developed by the modification of the simulated target spectrum. Meanwhile, the numerical simulation of the non-Gaussian process of wind waves is carried out in view of the two conditions of the surface elevation probability distribution and the spectrum. By using its simulated results, the influence of skewness of the sea surface elevation on two parameters in the distribution of wave heights (which had been fitted by using the Weibull distribution) is analysed. The 'quasi- correlation tranfer technique' is verified and compared with the selection wave data observed in the Jiaozhou Bay in the period of 1980 to 1981. 5Stability of the Stratification of Water Bodies in the North Passage of the Yangtze River Estuary Based on the EFDC Model显示文摘To study the stratified stability of a water column in the North Passage of the Yangtze River Estuary,a numerical model of the hydrodynamics of this estuary is established using the EFDC model.On the basis of EFDC results,this paper derives and pro-vides the discriminative index of water body stability caused by salinity and analyzes the along-range variation in water body strati-fication stability in the North Passage of the Yangtze River Estuary and the periodic variation at a key location(bend area)based on the simulation results of the numerical model.This work shows that the water body in the bend area varies between mixed and strati-fied types,and the vertical average flow velocity has a good negative correlation with the differential velocity between the surface and bottom layers of the water body.The model simulation results validate the formulae for the stratified stability discriminant during spring tides.WU De’an LI Xin WANG Yigang 2024Journal of Ocean University of China2024,23,1:0

10Research status of soybean symbiosis nitrogen fixation显示文摘Soybean(Glycine max)is one of the most important economic legume crops with largest planting area,and is also an important oil crop,as well as food and feed material.Soybean-rhizobia symbiosis plays important roles in plant cultivation and fertilizer application.However,there are many problems in agricultural application of soybean symbiotic nitrogen fixation.In this review,we summarized three restriction factors(host specificity,low nitrogen fixation efficiency and abiotic stress)and discussed research progresses of these factors.Clarification of host specific mechanism will help to select and apply rhizobia inoculants.Both maintaining high nitrogenase activity and delaying nodule senescence can improve the efficiency of symbiotic nitrogen fixation.Abiotic stress-tolerant rhizobia can improve the abiotic stress tolerance of soybean.Breeding stress tolerant genotypes of soybean and rhizobia,obtaining correlated genes are the common strategies to improve soybean symbiotic nitrogen fixation under extreme conditions.Regulatory mechanisms of these restriction factors are still poorly understood and needs further clarification.Rong Li Haifeng Chen Zhonglu Yang Songli Yuan Xin’an Zhou 2020Oil Crop Science2020,5,1:1
11Correlation analysis between the occurrence of epidemic in ancient China and solar activity显示文摘As the globe has witnessed the pandemic,epidemic diseases exert a strong impact on human beings and ecosystems.Since the Sun is the primary energy source of the Earth,some scientific pioneers attempted to search for the discernible relation between solar activity and the incidence of epidemics.In this study,the periodic changes and trends of ancient Chinese epidemic data were analyzed in comparison with those of sunspot numbers,a solar activity proxy.The results show that the epidemic and solar activity changes are in good agreement to a certain extent,especially during the Gleissberg and the de Vries cycles.The wavelet coherence shows that the frequency of the epidemic data and sunspot numbers are highly associated.In addition,results from the ensemble empirical mode decomposition illustrate consistent variations in low-frequency decompositions.This study has important implications for further understanding of the potential impact of solar activity on Earth’s biosphere,the underlying mechanism of which needs further exploration.Si CHEN Yong WEI Xin’an YUE Kaihua XU Mingkun LI Wei LIN 2023Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,1:0
12Genetic parameters estimation for growth traits in cultured tiger pufferfish(fugu),Takifugu rubripes显示文摘The aim of this study was to evaluate the genetic parameters of the growth performance of Takifugu rubripes.Heritabilities and genetic correlations were estimated for body weight(BW),body length(BL),total length(TL),chest measurement(CM)and trunk length(TKL)of T.rubripes from measurements of progeny at 6 months and 12 months.The results showed that the heritability was 0.37 for BW6,0.19 for BL6,0.35 for TL6,0.29 for CM6,0.26 for TKL6,0.36 for BW12,0.26 for BL12,0.25 for TL12,0.31 for CM12 and 0.15 for TKL12.The range of genetic correlations estimated at 6 months was 0.025–0.725 and−0.002–0.706 at 12 months.The results indicated that genetic improvement for faster growth rate or increased body weight in cultured T.rubripes was effective.Based on selection theory,the selection strategy for traits with medium heritability is flexible.Considering that these growth traits do not reach the high level of heritability,family selection should be expected.Given positive genetic correlations among BW,BL,TL,CM,and TKL at 6 months,the five traits could be improved simultaneously through selective breeding.As there was high genetic correlation only between BW12,BL12 and TL12,and negative correlations between TKL12 and BL12 as well as between CM12 and TL12,and only BW,BL and TL at 12 months could be improved simultaneously.Xin’an Wang Aijun Ma Zhifeng Liu Zhibin Sun Liguang Zhu Haowen Chang 2022Acta Oceanologica Sinica2022,41,12:0
13Suitable Weir Heights to Improve the Provision of Environmental Flows in Urban Rivers显示文摘Many studies have been conducted on environmental flow(e-flow)assessment and supply,but e-flow shortages remain common in many urban rivers.In addition to known reasons such as ever-increasing competition among water users and inadequate execution of designed e-flow supply plans,we propose that designing weir heights without explicitly considering e-flows is another major cause of this problem.In this paper,we suggest that the measures for satisfying e-flows be extended from the water supply stage to the river channel design stage.We establish a new weir height determination framework that would more effectively satisfy the required e-flows.The new framework differs from previous frameworks,in which flood control and water retention are the major concerns and the flow during floods is set as the inflow.In the new framework,e-flow provision and flow velocity maintenance are added concerns and the actual flows for e-flow supply are set as the inflow.As a case study of the new framework’s effectiveness,we applied it to the Shiwuli River,a typical channelized urban river in Hefei,China.The old framework specified too-high weir height to meet the e-flow requirements,whereas the new framework offered more reasonable heights that improved e-flow provision.Yuanyuan Sun Xin’an Yin Xianqiang Mao Enze Zhang Yanwei Zhao 2021Engineering2021,7,2:0
14Defects of laser-irradiated KDP crystals with different fluences studied by photoluminescence spectroscopy显示文摘Photoluminescence(PL)bands from potassium dihydrogen phosphate(KDP)crystals are studied by time-resolved PL spectroscopy.KDPcrystals irradiated at a laser fluence of 11.5 J/cm^(2) are found to have the highest probability of phosphorus–oxygen hole center defects and the lowest probability of phosphorus-oxygen electric center defects,in contrast to the probabilities of these defects forKDPcrystals irradiated at 9.0 J/cm^(2).The probabilities of these two defects occurring in retired components are found to be intermediate between those for crystals irradiated at the two different fluences.The two types of defects may result fromtwo differentmechanisms and may interconvert under certain conditions.Thus,there are differences between the defects in KDP crystals irradiated at a high laser fluence and those in retired components.Xiangcao Li Bao’an Liu Chunyan Yan Jie Ren Chang Liu Xin Ju 2020Matter and Radiation at Extremes2020,5,3:0
15The retrieval of the nonlinear random waves from the non-Gaussian characteristics of the sea surface elevation distribution显示文摘In this paper, without recourse to the nonlinear dynamical equations of the waves, the nonlinear random waves are retrieved from the non-Gaussian characteristic of the sea surface elevation distribution. The question of coincidence of the nonlinear wave profile, spectrum and its distributions of maximum (or minimum) values of the sea surface elevation with results derived from some existing nonlinear theories is expounded under the narrow-band spectrum condition. Taking the shoaling sea wave as an example, the nonlinear random wave process and its spectrum in shallow water are retrieved from both the non-Gaussian characteristics of the sea surface elevation distribution in shallow water and the normal sea waves in deep water and compared with the values actually measured. The high coupling efficiency and specific activity of IFN—α_A-McAb can be obtained by activated diol-silica gel with activating agent. 17Isolation, characterization and expression analysis of TRPV4 in half-smooth tongue sole Cynoglossus semilaevis显示文摘The transient receptor potential vanilloid 4(TRPV4),another Ca^2+entry channel,belongs to the vanilloid subfamily and responds to a number of different physical and chemical stimuli and exists widely in mammals.However,our understanding of the TRPV4 in fish remains poor.Therefore,we studied the TRPV4 gene from Cynoglossus semilaevis,named CsTRPV4 that encodes a putative protein of 870 amino acids common in structure and characteristic of mammalian TRPV4,including the domains of ANK repeats,six TM,TRP domain,and CaMBD.The CsTRPV4 was expressed ubiquitously in examined tissues:higher expression in the heart,spleen,testis,and eye,but lower expression in kidney and liver.Surprisingly,the expression of CsTRPV4 in lateral line was significantly higher than in many other tissues as the CsTRPV4 was expressed significantly in the free neuromasts.In addition,CsTRPV4 in the free neuromast from the larval fish was significantly expressed in the hair cells of the free neuromasts.Therefore,the free neuromasts can act as a mechano-sensor to the mechanical stimulation in molecular level in C.semilaevis,which lays a foundation for further study of the functions of the free neuromasts.SHANG Xiaomei MA Aijun WANG Xin’an XIA Dandan ZHUANG Jiao 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,1:0
