| 2 | Investigation on the spatial distribution characteristics of behind-armor debris formed by the perforation of EFP through steel target显示文摘The behind-armor debris(BAD) formed by the perforation of an EFP is the main damage factor for the secondary destruction to the behind-armor components.Aiming at investigating the BAD caused by EFP,flash X-ray radiography combined with an experimental witness plate test method was used,and the FEM-SPH adaptive conversion algorithm in LS-DYNA software was erployed to model the perforation process.The simulation results of the debris cloud shape and number of debris were in good agreement with the flash X-ray radiographs and perforated holes on the witness plate,respectlvely.Threedimensional numerical simulations of EFP's penetration under various impact conditions were conducted.The results show that,an ellipsoidal debris cloud,with the major-to-minor axis radio(a/b)smaller than that caused by shaped charge jets,was formed behind the target.With the increase of target thickness(h) and decrease of impact velocity(v_0) and obliquity(θ),the value of a/b decreases.The number of debris ejected from target is significantly higher than that from EFP.Based on the statistical analysis of the spatial distribution of the BAD,An engineering calculation model was established considering the influence of h,v_0 and θ.The model can with reasonable accuracy predict the quantity and velocity distribution characteristics of BAD formed by EFP. | Xin Wang Jianwei Jiang Shengjie Sun Jianbing Men Shuyou Wang | 2020 | Defence Technology(防务技术)2020,16,1: | 6 |
| 3 | Wnt gene expression in adult porcine longissimus dorsi and its association with muscle fiber type,energy metabolism,and meat quality显示文摘This study investigated the expression profiles of Wnt genes in adult porcine longissimus dorsi(LD) from different porcine genotypes and their associations with meat quality.The results showed that Wnt5 a gene expression level was the highest in Jinhua(JHP) pigs,followed by Zhongbai(ZBP),DurocxZhongbai(DZB),and DurocxYorkshirexLandrace(DYL) pigs,with significant differences between ZBP,DZB,and DYL(P<0.05).This genotypic order was reversed for Wnt7 a,Wnt10b,and Wnt11 expression,with JHP and DYL having the lowest and highest expressive levels,respectively.Wnt5 a expression was negatively correlated with pH_(45 min) and △pH(P<0.01),some glycolytic markers(P<0.05),and positively correlated with meat color(a~*),shear force(SF) value(P<0.05),myosion heavy chain(MyHC) I mRNA proportion(P<0.01),turnover ratio of creatine phosphate(CP),and creatine kinase(CK) activity(P<0.05).Opposite correlations were observed for Wnt2,Wnt7 a,Wnt10b,and Wnt11.These results revealed that Wnt5 a,Wnt7a,Wnt10 b,and Wnt11 gene expressions in adult porcine muscle contributed to differences between porcine genotypes and affected pork quality.Wnt5 a gene expression could be beneficial forthe formation of high quality pork by regulating muscle fibertypes and postmortem energy metabolism. | MEN Xiao-ming DENG Bo TAO Xin QI Ke-ke XU Zi-wei | 2017 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2017,16,1: | 6 |
| 4 | In vitro and in vivo antioxidant activities of three major polyphenolic compounds in pomegranate peel: Ellagic acid, punicalin, and punicalagin显示文摘Pomegranates is abundant in polyphenols and is well-known for its antioxidant activity. Punicalagin(PG) is a major polyphenolic compound in the pomegranate peel. In certain conditions, PG can be hydrolyzed to punicallin(PL) and ellagic acid(EA), and PL can be further hydrolyzed to EA. PG, PL, and EA all play important roles in the antioxidant activity of pomegranate peels. This study was conducted to compare the in vitro antioxidant activity and in vivo anti-oxidative stress effects of PG, PL, and EA. For the in vitro test, 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical(DPPH·) and superoxide anion(O_2^(-.)) scavenging capacities, ferric-reducing antioxidant power(FRAP), and lipid peroxidation(LPO) inhibition capacities of PG, PL, and EA were tested. For the in vivo test, oxidatively stressed mice, which were induced by oxidized fish oil, were administrated PG, PL or EA(10 mg kg^(–1 )d ^(–1)) for 21 days. The results showed that the in vitro antioxidant activity trends were EA>PG>PL>Trolox in scavenging DPPH?, PG>PL>EA≈Trolox in scavenging O_2^(-.), EA>PG≈PL>Trolox in FRAP, and Trolox>PG>EA>PL in LPO inhibition. In the in vivo test, the EA treatment increased the average daily weight gain and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC) in the plasma(P<0.05), liver(P<0.05), and intestine(P<0.05) in oxidatively stressed mice. It increased the superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity in the liver(P<0.05) and intestine(P<0.05). It increased the glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) activity in the intestine(P<0.05) and the intestinal villus height to crypt depth ratio(P<0.05). EA treatment decreased the malondialdehyde(MDA) content in the plasma(P<0.05), liver(P<0.05), and intestine(P<0.05) and the mRNA expressions of the pro-inflammatory factors, TNF-α(P<0.05), IFN-γ(P<0.05) and IL-6(P<0.05). PL increased the SOD(P<0.05) and GSH-Px activities(P<0.05) in the intestine and decreased the MDA content(P<0.05) and the mRNA expressions of TNF-α(P<0.05) and IL-6(P<0.05) in the intestine. PG increased the SOD activity(P<0.05) and GSH-Px activity(P<0.05) in the intestine and decreased the MDA content in the intestine(P<0.05) and IL-6 mRNA expression in the intestine(P<0.05). In summary, EA, PL, and PG all had powerful in vitro antioxidant capacities, and they had different antioxidant advantages in acting against different types of radicals; EA was more effective than PL and PG in protecting against oxidative injury in vivo, especially for intestinal injury. | 8 | Structure-dependent electromagnetic wave absorbing properties of bowl-like and honeycomb TiO_(2)/CNT composites显示文摘Materials that can efficiently absorb electromagnetic waves(EMWs)are required to deal with electromagnetic pollution.Structure design appears to be an efficient way to improve the EMW-absorption performance of such materials,particularly when adjustment of the constitution or mixing ratio is limited.In this study,bowl-like and honeycomb titanium dioxide/carbon nanotube(TiO_(2)/CNT)composites with different CNT contents were fabricated using the methods of hierarchical and mixing vacuum-assisted filtration,respectively.Compared to the honeycomb structure,the bowl-like structure simultaneously facilitated greater interfacial polarization and conduction loss in favor of dielectric polarization,and augmented multiple reflections.The high porosity of the honeycomb structure was conducive to optimizing the impedance matching characteristics.The bowl-like TiO_(2)/CNT composite exhibited a minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))of-38.6 dB(1.5 mm)with a wide effective absorption band(EAB;<-10 dB)of4.2 GHz,while the honeycomb TiO_(2)/CNT composite showed an RLminof-34.8 dB(2.1 mm)with an EAB of 4.3 GHz.The required mixing ratio in the matrix was only 15 wt%,outperforming that of the most closely related composites.Thus,both the bowl-like and honeycomb TiO_(2)/CNT composites are ideal candidates for light-weight and highly efficient EMW-absorbing materials. | Hua Jian Qinrui Du Qiaoqiao Men Li Guan Ruosong Li Bingbing Fan Xin Zhang Xiaoqin Guo Biao Zhao Rui Zhang | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,14: | 2 |

| 10 | Bioinformatic analysis of the ssc-miR-146b upstream promoter region显示文摘Sus Scrofa microRNA-146b-5p(ssc-miR-146b) was found to be one of differentially expressional microRNAs(miRNA) in our previous study. Not only it is highly expressed but also it maintains the largest up-regulated differences on the expressional level at different time points in the small intestinal mucosa of weaned piglets. To further explore the regulation mechanism of microRNA-146b-5 p(miR-146b)during the stressful progress in weaned piglets, the present study predicted the functions of the ssc-miR-146b upstream promoter region using biological analysis. The analytical results showed that ssc-miR-146b is an intergenic miRNA. The length of the promoter region of ssc-miR-146b was predicted to be2,249 bp using the Ensemble database. The length of the CpG island in the ssc-miR-146b promoter region was found to be 167 bp and it was located from 464 to 630 bp. Twenty six binding sites of 9 transcription factors in the upstream promoter region, including the sites of genes such as Spl, AP-1, MyoD, GATA etc,were discovered using different kinds of analytical software. | 14 | Microbial and metabolomic mechanisms mediating the effects of dietary inulin and cellulose supplementation on porcine oocyte and uterine development显示文摘Background:Dietary fiber(DF)is often eschewed in swine diet due to its anti-nutritional effects,but DF is attracting growing attention for its reproductive benefits.The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of DF intake level on oocyte maturation and uterine development,to determine the optimal DF intake for gilts,and gain microbial and metabolomic insight into the underlying mechanisms involved.Methods:Seventy-six Landrace×Yorkshire(LY)crossbred replacement gilts of similar age(92.6±0.6 d;mean±standard deviation[SD])and body weight(BW,33.8±3.9 kg;mean±SD)were randomly allocated to 4 dietary treatment groups(n=19);a basal diet without extra DF intake(DF 1.0),and 3 dietary groups ingesting an extra50%(DF 1.5),75%(DF 1.75),and 100%(DF 2.0)dietary fiber mixture consisting of inulin and cellulose(1:4).Oocyte maturation and uterine development were assessed on 19 d of the 2nd oestrous cycle.Microbial diversity of faecal samples was analysed by high-throughput pyrosequencing(16S r RNA)and blood samples were subjected to untargeted metabolomics.Results:The rates of oocytes showing first polar bodies after in vitro maturation for 44 h and uterine development increased linearly with increasing DF intake;DF 1.75 gilts had a 19.8%faster oocyte maturation rate and a 48.9 cm longer uterus than DF 1.0 gilts(P<0.05).Among the top 10 microbiota components at the phylum level,8increased linearly with increasing DF level,and the relative abundance of 30 of 53 microbiota components at the genus level(>0.1%)increased linearly or quadratically with increasing DF intake.Untargeted metabolic analysis revealed significant changes in serum metabolites that were closely associated with microbiota,including serotonin,a gut-derived signal that stimulates oocyte maturation.Conclusions:The findings provide evidence of the benefits of increased DF intake by supplementing inulin and cellulose on oocyte maturation and uterine development in gilts,and new microbial and metabolomic insight into the mechanisms mediating the effects of DF on reproductive performance of replacement gilts. | Zhaoyue Men Meng Cao Yuechan Gong Lun Hua Ruihao Zhang Xin Zhu Lianchao Tang Xuemei Jiang Shengyu Xu Jian Li Lianqiang Che Yan Lin Bin Feng Zhengfeng Fang De Wu Yong Zhuo | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,3: | 1 |

| 16 | Influence of Panax quinquefolium saponins on increased intracellular Ca^(2+) in PC12 cells显示文摘BACKGROUND:Previous studies have demonstrated that intracellular Ca^(2+)([Ca^(2+)]_i) overload, excitotoxicity,free radical injury,and nitric oxide toxicity are involved in mechanisms of neuronal death in the ischemic brain. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the influence of Panax quinquefolium saponins(PQS) on multiple factors-induced Ca^(2+) overload in the rat pheochromocytoma(PC12) cell line. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:Intergroup comparison,in vitro study.The experiment was performed at the Heilongjiang Key Laboratory of Anti-fibrosis Biotherapy,Mudanjiang Medical University between November 2007 and April 2008. MATERIALS:In vitro cultured PC12 cells in the logarithmic phase were assigned into blank control,model,and drug treatment groups(10μmol/L nimodipine;40μg/L,100μg/L,and 250μg/L PQS).Nimodipine was purchased from Jiangsu Yangtze River Pharmacy Group Co., China;PQS(purity>95%,HLPC grade) was provided by School of Basic Medical Sciences,Jilin University.Caffeine,Na_2S_2O_4,L-glutamic acid(Glu),Fura-2/AM,and calcium ionophore A23187 were purchased from Sigma,USA. METHODS:PC12 cells in the model and drug treatment groups were separately incubated in glucose-free Hank's buffered saline solution + Na_2S_20_4(2 mmol/L) for 6 hours,Glu(200μmol/L) plus A23187(0.05μmol/L) for 6 hours,KCI(50 mmol/L) for 1 hour,and caffeine(5 mmol/L) for 3 hours to establish models of intracellular Ca^(2+) overload induced by oxygen and glucose deprivation,Glu,A23187,high K^+,or caffeine.In addition,control cells were incubated in high-glucose DMEM culture medium. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:[Ca^(2+)]_i changes in PC12 cells exposed to oxygen-glucose deprivation,Glu,A23187,high K^+,or caffeine were detected using spectrofluorometer. RESULTS:PQS blocked the[Ca^(2+)]_i increase induced by oxygen-glucose deprivation,Glu, A23187,high K^+,or caffeine.In particular,high-dose PQS was most effective(P<0.01).PQS significantly inhibited Glu- or caffeine-induced[Ca^(2+)]_i increases in the absence of extracellular Ca^(2+),but nimodipine did not. | 17 | Zirconium-Mediated Synthesis of Multi-substituted Dibenzosilole and Benzonaphthosilole Derivatives显示文摘In this study, a new zirconium-mediated cycloaddition for preparing dibenzosilole derivatives was developed using siliconbridged diynes and electron-withdrawing alkynes as starting materials. The preparation of silicon-bridged diynes from 1-bromide-2-iodobenzene, terminal alkynes, and dimethyldichlorosilane was also studied. Unlike in the previous synthesis methods, much higher yields of electron-withdrawing group-substituted dibenzosilole derivatives were obtained. In addition, a new synthesis strategy for preparing benzonaphthosilole derivatives using internal alkynes, 1,4-dibromobenzene, and electron-withdrawing alkynes as starting materials is proposed. Compared with previous methods, alkyl, phenyl, and electron-withdrawing groups can be successfully introduced onto aromatic rings, and the positions of these substituents can be easily controlled. The cycloaddition reactions for dibenzosilole and benzonaphthosilole derivatives are highly efficient one-pot processes, and the raw materials are available and easily prepared. | 18 | Investigation of AlN Thin Films as Buried Insulator in SOI Structure显示文摘Self heating effects in silicon on insulator (SOI) devices limit the applicability of SOI materials in electronics in cases where high power dissipation is expected. AlN film as a potential candidate for buried insulator material in SOI structures is investigated. Ion beam enhanced deposition (IBED) is used to manufacture large area AlN films. SIMS measurements indicate the formation of AlN films. The characterization of the films reveals that the quality of the films strongly depends on the evaporation rate of Al. For the film with high quality deposited at 0.05 nm/s, it has higher component of N, excellent dielectric property and a smoother surface with roughness RMS value of 0.13 nm, and can be bonded directly at room temperature by the smart cut process.
