1BZR1 Family Transcription Factors Function Redundantly and Indispensably in BR Signaling but Exhibit BRI1-Independent Function in Regulating Anther Development in Arabidopsis显示文摘BRASSINAZOLE-RESISTANT 1 family proteins(BZRs)are central transcription factors that govern brassinosteroid(BR)-regulated gene expression and plant growth.However,it is unclear whether there exists a BZR-independent pathway that mediates BR signaling.In this study,we found that disruption of all BZRs in Arabidopsis generated a hextuple mutant(bzr-h)displaying vegetative growth phenotypes that were almost identical to those of the null mutant of three BR receptors,bri1brl1brl3(bri-t).By RNA sequencing,we found that global gene expression in bzr-h was unaffected by 2 h of BR treatment.The anthers of bzr-h plants were loculeless,but a similar phenotype was not observed in bri-t,suggesting that BZRs have a BR signaling-independent regulatory role in anther development.By real-time PCR and in situ hybridization,we found that the expression of SPOROCYTELESS(SPL),which encodes a transcription factor essential for anther locule development,was barely detectable in bzr-h,suggesting that BZRs regulate locule development by affecting SPL expression.Our findings reveal that BZRs are indispensable transcription factors required for both BR signaling and anther locule development,providing new insight into the molecular mechanisms underlying the microsporogenesis in Arabidopsis.Lian-Ge Chen Zhihua Gao Zhiying Zhao Xinye Liu Yongpeng Li Yuxiang Zhang Xigang Liu Yu Sun Wenqiang Tang 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,10:11
2A new hybrid aerodynamic optimization framework based on differential evolution and invasive weed optimization显示文摘Since many aerodynamic optimization problems in the area of aeronautics contain highly nonlinear objectives and multiple local optima, it is still a challenge for most of the traditional optimization methods to find the global optima. In this paper, a new hybrid optimization framework based on Differential Evolution and Invasive Weed Optimization(IWO_DE/Ring) is developed, which combines global and local search to improve the performance, where a Multiple-Output Gaussian Process(MOGP) is used as the surrogate model. We first use several test functions to verify the performance of the IWO_DE/Ring method, and then apply the optimization framework to a supercritical airfoil design problem. The convergence and the robustness of the proposed framework are compared against some other optimization methods. The IWO_DE/Ringbased approach provides much quicker and steadier convergence than the traditional methods.The results show that the stability of the dynamic optimization process is an important indication of the confidence in the obtained optimum, and the proposed optimization framework based on IWO_DE/Ring is a reliable and promising alternative for complex aeronautical optimization problems.Zijing LIU Xuejun LIU Xinye CAI 2018Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018,31,7:9

4Influence of separator control on the characteristics of severe slugging flow显示文摘Due to the special structure of offshore multiphase pipes, it is easy for severe slugging to occur in the riser at low gas-liquid velocity. Violent pressure fluctuations and dramatic changes of flow rate are the main characteristics of severe slugging, leading to the risk of serious damage. In this paper, the separator control is adopted to accurately control the separator liquid level and pressure under severe slugging flow conditions. This indicates that the separator liquid level control alone does not have a significant impact on the upstream flow, but it is beneficial for normal operation and pressure control of the separator. As the separator pressure increases, the peak pressure in the riser apparently diminishes, and the amplitude of pressure fluctuation gradually decreases, which means that severe slugging is inhibited. During the slug blowing out, the gas/liquid slipping in the riser intensifies. The long gas plug quickly flows through the riser, and then tends to morph into short and slowly flowing gas bubbles. 5A flexible conductive hybrid elastomer for high-precision stress/strain and humidity detection显示文摘Flexible and environment-responsive materials are essential for a large number of applications from artificial skin to wearable devices. The present study develops a flexible, ultra-low cost conductive hybrid elastomer(CHE), which possesses high responsive capabilities to stress/strain and humidity. CHE was composed of polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) and starch hydrogel(SH), enabling great elasticity(56 kPa),high conductivity(10^(-2)S/m) and high sensitivity to external stimuli(gauge factor of CHE under stress and strain are 0.71 and 2.22, respectively, and sensitivity to humidity is 1.2 × 10^(-6)S/m per RH%). 6A critical review on lead migration, transformation and emission control in Chinese coal-fired power plants显示文摘Coal is widely utilized as an important energy source,but coal-fired power plant was considered to be an important anthropogenic lead emission source.In the present study,the distribution characteristics of lead in coal and combustion by-products are reviewed.Specifically,lead is mainly transferred to ash particles and the formation and migration mechanisms of particulate lead are summarized.Also,targeted measures are proposed to control the formation of fine particulate lead as well as to increase the removal efficiency during the low-temperature flue gas clean process.In detail,interactions between gaseous lead and some coal-bearing minerals or added adsorbents could obviously suppress the formation of fine particulate lead.On the other hand,some efforts(including promoting capture of fine particles,reducing resistivity of particles and strengthening the gas-liquid contact)could be made to improve the fine particulate lead removal capacity.Notably,the formation mechanism of fine particulate lead is still unclear due to the limitations of research methods.Some differences in the removal principles of fine particles and particulate lead make the lead emission precisely control a great challenge.Finally,the environmental potential risk of lead emission from flue gas and ash residues is addressed and further discussed.Yicheng Wang Hongyun Hu Xinye Wang Huimin Liu Lu Dong Guangqian Luo Yongchun Zhao Hong Yao 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,2:2
7Microsatellite Analysis of Expressed Sequence Tags and Development of EST-SSR Markers for Melampsora spp.显示文摘In this study,64 498 ESTs of Melampsoraspp.was assembled into 1 998 contigs,and 604SSR loci were detected on these contigs,with 736.6 bp containing one SSR on average.Among these SSRs,trinucleotide repeats were the most abundant repeats(44.70%).As for the composition of microsatellites, AC and AT repeats were the richest motif in dinucleotide repeats,and AGT and AAG repeats were the most frequent motifs in trinucleotide repeats,whereas(AAAN) n and(AAAAN) n repeats were dominant in tetranucleotide and pentanucleotide repeats,respectively.All the dominant repeat motifs of different types of SSRs were rich in A and T.In EST sequences of Melampsoraspp.genome,microsatellites longer than 20 bp accounted for about 15.07%.It was noticeable that microsatellites were highly rich in the expressed sequences of Melampsoraspp.genome,which implied that SSRs played a significant role in triggering the gene mutation in Melampsoraspp.genome.A total of 455 SSR primers were designed according to the detected microsatellites using Primer 5.0 and Oligo 6. 0,and 30 primer pairs were randomly selected for amplification test.Among these primer pairs,27 primer pairs succeed in amplification,with a successful rate of 90%.Eight primer pairs generated polymorphic fingerprints in Melampsoraspp.collected from different poplar genotypes,accounting for 26.7% of the total primer pairs.The EST-SSR markers developed fromMelampsoraspp.EST sequences provided important marker resources for studying Melampsoraspp.from the aspects of pathogen identification and survey of genetic variation.Wan Zhibing Liu Min Yang Wanxu Zhang Xinye Yin Tongming 2013Plant Diseases and Pests2013,4,6:2
8Spatially continuous transformer online temperature monitoring based on distributed optical fibre sensing technology显示文摘Transformer internal thermal monitoring exists huge blind areas,and it is difficult for traditional methods to get fully distributed temperature in real time.In this contri-bution,the distributed optical fibre sensor was creatively applied inside an operating 35 kV oil‐immersed transformer which is also qualified for actual power grid oper-ation through the ex‐factory tests.Furthermore,the full‐region temperature along the windings and iron limbs were firstly monitored in a spatiotemporally continuous manner and the hotspots were also closely traced,fluctuating at 90%of the high‐voltage winding height(80%for low‐voltage winding)during the whole process of the heat‐run test.Corresponding Finite Element Method(FEM)for thermo‐fluid field calculation was then utilized for deeper analysis.On the former basis,the actual detected temperature distributions(both spatial and temporal)were compared with the International Electrotechnical Commission traditional model and some modifi-cations were suggested based on the real time measured data.This novel online monitoring application and the detailed internal thermal information may provide a solid reference for the delicate management of power transformers,which also offers a new horizon for the online monitoring in electrical apparatus industry.Yunpeng Liu Xinye Li Huan Li Junyi Yin Jiaxue Wang Xiaozhou Fan 2022High Voltage2022,7,2:1

14Heat Shock Factor A1s are required for phytochrome-interacting factor 4-mediated thermomorphogenesis in Arabidopsis显示文摘Thermomorphogenesis and the heat shock(HS)response are distinct thermal responses in plants that are regulated by PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTOR 4(PIF4)and HEAT SHOCK FACTOR A1s(HSFA1s),respectively.Little is known about whether these responses are interconnected and whether they are activated by similar mechanisms.An analysis of transcriptome dynamics in response to warm temperature(28℃)treatment revealed that 30 min of exposure activated the expression of a subset of HSFA1 target genes in Arabidopsis thaliana.Meanwhile,a loss-of-function HSFA1 quadruple mutant(hsfa1-cq)was insensitive to warm temperature-induced hypocotyl growth.In hsfa1-cq plants grown at 28℃,the protein and transcript levels of PIF4 were greatly reduced,and the circadian rhythm of many thermomorphogenesis-related genes(including PIF4)was disturbed.Additionally,the nuclear localization of HSFA1s and the binding of HSFA1d to the PIF4 promoter increased following warm temperature exposure,whereas PIF4 overexpression in hsfa1-cq partially rescued the altered warm temperature-induced hypocotyl growth of the mutant.Taken together,these results suggest that HSFA1s are required for PIF4 accumulation at a warm temperature,and they establish a central role for HSFA1s in regulating both thermomorphogenesis and HS responses in Arabidopsis.Bingjie Li Shimeng Jiang Liang Gao Wenhui Wang Haozheng Luo Yining Dong Zhihua Gao Shuzhi Zheng Xinye Liu Wenqiang Tang 2024Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2024,66,1:0
15First report of Alternaria alternata causing flower blight on Camellia sinensis in Hefei,China显示文摘Flowers are an essential organ for sexual reproduction of higher plants.Severe lesions along with flower blight on tea(Camellia sinensis)plants were observed in the experimental tea plantation located in Hefei(China).The pathogens isolated from diseased flowers matched the morphological peculiarity of Alternaria alternata.The species characteristics of A.alternata were further confirmed by both pathogenicity tests and multi-gene phylogenetic analyses by using internal transcribed spacer(ITS),glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase(GAPDH)and betatubulin(TUB).The combined phylogeny analysis using sequences derived from the ITS,GAPDH and TUB showed that the isolated pathogens belong to the genus Alternaria.Pathogenicity tests conducted on healthy tea flowers and leaves manifested typical symptoms of flower blight while weaker symptoms of leaf spot,demonstrating the A.alternata isolates were the causal agents of flower blight disease on tea plants.This fungus is first reported as a pathogen causing flower blight on C.sinensis in this study.Xiang Xie Qingjie Yu Xinye Li Yongsheng Liu Lihuan Wang 2022Beverage Plant Research2022,2,1:0
