2Hippocampal gene expression in a rat model of depression after electroacupuncture at the Baihui and Yintang acupoints显示文摘Preliminary basic research and clinical findings have demonstrated that electroacupuncture therapy exhibits positive effects in ameliorating depression.However,most studies of the underlying mechanism are at the single gene level;there are few reports regarding the mechanism at the whole-genome level.Using a rat genomic gene-chip,we profiled hippocampal gene expression changes in rats after electroacupuncture therapy.Electroacupuncture therapy alleviated depression-related manifestations in the model rats.Using gene-chip analysis,we demonstrated that electroacupuncture at Baihui(DU20)and Yintang(EX-HN3)regulates the expression of 21genes.Real-time PCR showed that the genes Vgf,Igf2,Tmp32,Loc500373,Hif1a,Folr1,Nmb,and Rtn were upregulated or downregulated in depression and that their expression tended to normalize after electroacupuncture therapy.These results indicate that electroacupuncture at Baihui and Yintang modulates depression by regulating the expression of particular genes.Dongmei Duan Xiuyan Yang2 Institute of Health Maintenance Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Ya Tu Liping Chen 2014Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,1:16
3Soil Microbial Population Dynamics along a Chronosequence of Moist Evergreen Broad-leaved Forest Succession in Southwestern China显示文摘Little is known about whether soil microbial population dynamics are correlated with forest succession.To test the hypotheses that(1) soil microbial composition changes over successional stages,and(2) soil microbial diversity is positively correlated with plant species diversity,we determined the soil microbial populations,community composition,and microflora diversity in evergreen broad-leaved forests along a chronosequence of vegetation succession from 5 to 300 years in southwestern China.The soil microbial community was mainly composed of bacteria(87.1-98.7% of the total microorganisms and 10 genera identified),fungi(0.3-4.0%,7 genera),and actinomycetes(2.1-9.1%,8 species and 1 genus).There were significant differences in soil microbial populations among different successional stages and within the four seasons.The seasonal variations of the soil microbial community may be associated with the seasonal changes in environmental conditions.The changes in soil microbial diversity(Shannon-Wiener index) with successional time followed one-humped,convex curves peaked at-100 years since restoration,which is identical with the trends of the aboveground plant diversity.Higher plant diversity resulting in enhanced nutrient flow and root exudation may contribute to positive relationships between the soil microbial diversity and plant diversity.Hence,decreases in soil microbial diversity in the late-successional stages appear to be related to the net loss in species richness that occurs after 100 years since restoration.Our findings confirm the intermediate disturbance hypothesis that suggests diversity peaks at midsuccessional stages.ZHU Wanze CAI Xiaohu LIU Xingliang WANG Jinxi CHENG Song ZHANG Xiuyan LI Dengyu LI Maihe 2010Journal of Mountain Science2010,7,4:8

6Mechanism of Capacity Fading Caused by Mn(Ⅱ)Deposition on Anodes for Spinel Lithium Manganese Oxide Cell显示文摘The capacity fade of spinel lithium manganese oxide in lithium-ion batteries is a bottleneck challenge for the large-scale application.The traditional opinion is that Mn(Ⅱ) ions in the anode are reduced to the metallic manganese that helps for catalyzing electrolyte decomposition.This could poison and damage the solid electrolyte interface(SEI) film,leading to the the capacity fade in Li-ion batteries.We propose a new mechanism that Mn(Ⅱ) deposites at the anode hinders and/or blocks the intercalation/de-intercalation of lithium ions,which leads to the capacity fade in Li-ion batteries.Based on the new mechanism assumption,a kind of new structure with core-shell characteristic is designed to inhabit manganese ion dissolution,thus improving electrochemical cycle performance of the cell.By the way,this mechanism hypothesis is also supported by the results of these experiments.The LiMn_(2-x)Ti_xO_4 shell layer enhances cathode resistance to corrosion attack and effectively suppresses dissolution of Mn,then improves battery cycle performance with LiMn_2O_4 cathode,even at high rate and elevated temperature.陈海辉 MA Tianyi ZENG Yingying GUO Xiuyan 邱新平 2017Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2017,32,1:7
7Antibacterial Properties and Corrosion Resistance of Nitrogen-doped TiO_2 Coatings on Stainless Steel显示文摘The Nitrogen-doped TiO2 (N-TiO2) coatings were fabricated on 304 austenitic stainless steel (SS) substrates by oxidation of titanium nitride coatings,which were prepared by plasma surface alloying technique.Microstructural investigation,corrosion tests and antibacterial tests were conducted to study the properties of N-TiO2 coatings.Composition analysis shows that the SS substrates were shielded by the N-TiO2 coatings entirely.The N-TiO2 coatings are anatase in structure as characterized by X-ray diffraction.The corrosion properties of N-TiO2 coated SS samples in Hanks' solution were investigated by a series of tests.The electrochemical measurements indicate that the corrosion potential positively shifts from 0.275 V for untrated SS to 0.267 V for N-TiO2,while the corrosion current density decreases from 1.3×105 A/cm to 4.1×10 6 A/cm2.The corrosion resistance obtained by fitting the impedance spectra also reveals that the N-TiO2 coatings provide good protection for SS substrate against corrosion in Hanks' solution.Electrochemistry noise tests indicate that the N-TiO2 coatings effectively retard the local pitting and crevice corrosion of the SS substrate.The results of the antibacterial test reveal that N-TiO2 coatings give 304 austenitic SS an excellent antibacterial property.Hefeng Wang Bin Tang Xiuyan Li Yong Ma 2011Journal of Materials Science & Technology2011,27,4:7
8Multi-shelled CuO microboxes for carbon dioxide reduction to ethylene显示文摘The electroreduction of CO2 to valuable chemicals and fuels offers an effective mean for energy storage.Although CO2 has been efficiently converted into C1 products(e.g.,carbon monoxide,formic acid,methane and methanol),its convention into high value-added multicarbon hydrocarbons with high selectivity and activity still remains challenging.Here we demonstrate the formation of multi-shelled CuO microboxes for the efficient and selective electrocatalytic CO2 reduction to C2H4.Such a structure favors the accessibility of catalytically active sites,improves adsorption of reaction intermediate(CO),inhibits the diffusion of produced OH−and promotes C-C coupling reaction.Owing to these unique advantages,the multi-shelled CuO microboxes can effectively convert CO2 into C2H4 with a maximum faradaic efficiency of 51.3%in 0.1 M K2SO4.This work provides an effective way to improve CO2 reduction efficiency via constructing micro-and nanostructures of electrocatalysts.Dongxing Tan Jianling Zhang Lei Yao Xiuniang Tan Xiuyan Cheng Qiang Wan Buxing Han Lirong Zheng Jing Zhang 2020Nano Research2020,13,3:6
9Optimization of variables for maximizing efficacy and efficiency in aerial spray application to cotton using unmanned aerial systems显示文摘Aerial spraying can support efficient defoliation without crop contact.With the recent introduction to unmanned aerial system(UAS)for aerial spraying in China,there is a need to determine the optimum application variables to achieve high efficacy and efficiency with low costs.The present research involved field studies across two annual cotton production seasons in North Xinjiang,China.Four factors,including volume rate(A),tank mix including spray adjuvants(B),flight altitude(C),flight speed(D)and three levels of L9(3^(4))orthogonal arrays were carried out to optimize the application parameters for three types of UASs.These included different numbers of rotors as follows:four-rotors,six-rotors and eight-rotors.Spray coverage,distribution uniformity(coefficient of variation(CV)of droplet coverage),rates of cotton defoliation and boll opening,application efficiency and cost were measured and assessed.Results showed that:(1)the rates of defoliation and boll opening by aerial cotton defoliant application could meet the requirement of cotton mechanized harvesting;(2)the optimal scenario for the three UASs was A_(3)B_(2)C_(1)D_(3),Volume rate(A3):48 L/hm^(2);Tank mix and concentration(B_(2)):(Tuotulong 225+Sujie 750+Ethephon 2250)mL/hm^(2),Flight altitude(C_(1)):1.5 m,and Flight speeds(D_(3))for unmanned helicopters with four-rotors,six-rotors and eight-rotors were 3.12 m/s,2.51 m/s and 3.76 m/s,respectively.These results can provide guidance for cotton defoliant aerial spraying in China using UAS.Juan Liao Ying Zang Xiwen Luo Zhiyan Zhou Yubin Lan Yu Zang Xiuyan Gu Weiming Xu Andrew John Hewitt 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,2:6

11Characterization of miRNomes in Acute and Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Cell Lines显示文摘Myeloid leukemias are highly diverse diseases and have been shown to be associated with microRNA(miRNA) expression aberrations. The present study involved an in-depth miRNome analysis of two human acute myeloid leukemia(AML) cell lines, HL-60 and THP-1, and one human chronic myeloid leukemia(CML) cell line, K562, via massively parallel signature sequencing. mRNA expression profiles of these cell lines that were established previously in our lab facilitated an integrative analysis of miRNA and mRNA expression patterns. miRNA expression profiling followed by differential expression analysis and target prediction suggested numerous miRNA signatures in AML and CML cell lines. Some miRNAs may act as either tumor suppressors or oncomiRs in AML and CML by targeting key genes in AML and CML pathways. Expression patterns of cell type-specific miRNAs could partially reflect the characteristics of K562, HL-60 and THP-1 cell lines, such as actin filament-based processes, responsiveness to stimulus and phagocytic activity. miRNAs may also regulate myeloid differentiation, since they usually suppress differentiation regulators. Our study provides a resource to further investigate the employment of miRNAs in human leukemia subtyping, leukemogenesis and myeloid development. 12Ionic liquids produce heteroatom-doped Pt/TiO2 nanocrystals for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen production显示文摘It is of great importance to develop facile strategies to synthesize catalysts with desirable compositions and structures for high-performance photocatalytic hydrogen generation. In this work, we put forward an ionic liquid assisted one-pot route for the synthesis of heteroatom-doped Pt/TiO2 composite material. This route is simple, environmentally benign and adjustable owing to the designable properties of ionic liquids. The as-synthesized Pt/TiO2 nanocrystals exhibit high activity and stability for the photocatalytic hydrogen generation under simulated solar irradiation. 14Detection of Citrus yellow vein clearing virus by Quantitative Real-time RT-PCR显示文摘To develop a rapid and reliable detection method for Citrus yellow vein clearing virus(CYVCV), a quantitative real-time reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction(q RT-PCR) system based on SYBR Green I was established by using a pair of specific primers designed from its conserved coat protein gene. The sensitivity, specificity, and applicability of the system were evaluated accordingly. The results showed that amplicons were produced from CYVCV isolates, whereas no amplicons from non-CYVCV citrus virus samples, including Citrus tristeza virus(CTV) and Citrus tatter leaf virus(CTLV), were obtained. The sensitivity of the q RT-PCR was 100-fold higher than that of conventional RT-PCR. An excellent linear correlation(R2= 0.999) was obtained from two standard curves of c RNA, and the amplification efficiency was 102%. 16MiR319-targeted OsTCP21 and OsGAmyb regulate tillering and grain yield in rice显示文摘Multiple genes and microRNAs(miRNAs)improve grain yield by promoting tillering.MiR319s are known to regulate several aspects of plant development;however,whether miR319s are essential for tillering regulation remains unclear.Here,we report that miR319 is highly expressed in the basal part of rice plant at different development stages.The miR319 knockdown line Short Tandem Target Mimic 319(STTM319)showed higher tiller bud length in seedlings under low nitrogen(N)condition and higher tiller bud number under high N condition compared with the miR319a-overexpression line.Through targets prediction,we identified OsTCP21 and OsGAmyb as downstream targets of miR319.Moreover,OsTCP21 and OsGAmyb overexpression lines and STTM319 had increased tiller bud length and biomass,whereas both were decreased in OsTCP21 and OsGAmyb knockout lines and OE319a.These data suggest that miR319 regulates rice tiller bud development and tillering through targeting OsTCP21 and OsGAmyb.Notably,the tiller number and grain yield increased in STTM319 and overexpression lines of OsTCP21 and OsGAmyb but decreased in OE319a and knockout lines of OsTCP21 and OsGAmyb.Taken together,our findings indicate that miR319s negatively affect tiller number and grain yield by targeting OsTCP21 and OsGAmyb,revealing a novel function for miR319 in rice.Rongna Wang Xiuyan Yang Shuang Guo Zhaohui Wang Zhanhui Zhang Zhongming Fang 2021Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,7:4
17Re-isolation of Wuxiang Virus from Wild Sandflies Collected from Yangquan County, China显示文摘We previously isolated a new species of the genus Phlebovirus from wild sandflies collected from Wuxiang County in central China,which named the Wuxiang virus(WUXV).In this study,we re-isolated the WUXV from wild sandflies collected from two villages in Yangquan County,China in 2019.Four virus isolates that caused cytopathic effects in BHK-21 cells were successfully isolated from sandfly specimens collected from chicken pens and sheep pens.Phylogenetic analyses of the L,M and S gene segments of the viruses revealed that the four virus strains represented the previously isolated WUXV.The minimum infection rate(MIR)of the virus isolated from the sheep pen was 3.21,and the MIR of the virus isolated from the chicken pen was 3.45.The positive rates of Wuxiang virus neutralizing antibodies in serum samples of local healthy people and domestic chickens were 8.7%(4/46)and 100%(4/4),respectively,suggesting that Wuxiang virus can infect human and animal.In view of the fact that Wuxiang virus is infectious to humans and animals and has a relatively wide geographical distribution in China,it is of great public health significance to strengthen the investigation and study on the infection status of Wuxiang virus in humans and animals.Qinyan Wang Shihong Fu Jingxia Cheng Xiuyan Xu Jing Wang Bin Wu Xiaodong Tian Yan Li Ying He Fan Li Kai Nie Songtao Xu Bin Wang Huanyu Wang Xiaoqing Lu Guodong Liang 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,5:4

20Self-template formation of porous yolk-shell structure Mo-doped NiCo2O4 toward enhanced lithium storage performance as anode material显示文摘Hollow ternary metal oxides have shown enormous potential in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),which is ascribed to their complex chemical composition,abundant active defect sites,and the synergy effect be-tween metals.In this work,we synthesized Mo-doped NiCo_(2)O_(4) porous spheres with yolk-shell structure by using a simple self-templating method.Surprisingly,other than the yolk-shell structure we had ob-tained,the inner core of the yolk-shell was also porous,which could fully enhance the electrolyte infil-tration and promote the transmission of lithium ions(Li+)and electrons(e−).The diameter of the porous core in the yolk-shell sphere was about 530 nm,and the outer shell’s thickness was up to 110 nm.In addition,the unique pores in the core appeared in the diameter of about 85 nm.With this structure,the volume expansion of the anode could be well inhibited during charge/discharge.It exhibited prominent electrochemical performance with high reversible capacity(1338 mA h g^(−1) at 100 mA g^(−1)),satisfactory cycle life(1360 mA h g^(−1) after 200 cycles at 100 mA g^(−1)),and exceptional rate capability(820 mA h g^(−1) at 2000 mA g^(−1))as anode material in LIBs.Yongqiang Ren Xiuyan Li Yinan Wang Qinghua Gong Shaonan Gu Tingting Gao Xuefeng Sun Guowei Zhou 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,7:3
