Characteristics of Settings and Etiologic Agents of Foodborne Disease Outbreaks—China,2020显示文摘Introduction:Foodborne diseases are a growing public health problem and have caused a large burden of disease in China. This study analyzed epidemiological characteristics of foodborne diseases in China in 2020 to provide a scientific basis for prevention and control measures. Methods:Data were collected from 30 of 31 provincial-level administrative divisions(PLADs)in the mainland of China, excluding Xizang(Tibet)Autonomous Region, via the National Foodborne Disease Outbreaks Surveillance System・The number and proportion of outbreaks, illnesses, hospitalizations, deaths by setting,pathogen-food category pairs and etiology were calculated. Results:In 2020,7,073 foodborne disease outbreaks were reported, resulting in 37,454 illnesses and 143 deaths.Among the identified pathogens, microbial pathogens were the most common confirmed etiology, accounting for 41.7%of illnesses.Poisonous mushrooms caused the largest proportion of outbreaks(58.0%)and deaths(57.6%).For venues where foodborne disease outbreaks occur, household had the highest number of outbreaks(4,140)and deaths(128),and catering service locations caused the largest proportion of illnesses(59.9%).Outbreaks occurring between June and September accounted for 62.8%of total outbreaks. Conclusions:Foodborne disease outbreaks mainly occurred in households・Microbial pathogens remained the top cause of outbreak-associated illnesses.Poisonous mushrooms were ranked the top cause of deaths in private homes in China. The supervision and management of food safety and health education should be strengthened to reduce the burden of foodborne diseases・Publicity should be increased to reduce the incidence of mushroom poisonings in families, and supervision and management of food should be strengthened to reduce microbial contamination. | Hongqiu Li Weiwei Li Yue Dai Yuyan Jiang Junhua Liang Santao Wang Maoqiang Zhuang Zheng Huang Lizi Xu Bo Xue Jikai Liu Haihong Han Sara M.Pires Ping Fu Yunchang Guo | 2021 | China CDC weekly2021,3,42: | 14
Numerical simulation of gas flow process in mining-induced crack network显示文摘The exploitation of coal bed methane or coal gas is one of the most effective solutions of the problem of coal gas hazard.A better understanding of gas flow in mining-induced cracks plays an important role in comprehensive development and utilization of coal gas as well as prevention of coal gas hazard. This paper presents a case study of gas flow in mining-induced crack network regarding the situation of low permeability of coal seam.A two-dimensional physical model is constructed on the basis of geological background of mining face No.1122(1) in coal seam No.11-2,Zhangji Coal Mine,Huainan Mining Group Corporation. The mining-induced stress and cracks in overburden rocks are obtained by simulating an extraction in physical model. An evolution of mining-induced cracks in the process of advancing of coal mining face is characterized and three typical crack networks are taken from digital photos by means of image analysis. Moreover, the numerical software named COMSOL Multiphysics is employed to simulate the process of gas flow in three representative crack networks.Isograms of gas pressure at various times in mining-induced crack networks are plotted, suggesting a shape and dimension of gas accumulation area. | Zhou Hongwei Liu Jinfeng Xue Dongjie Yi Haiyang Xue Junhua | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,6: | 14

Effect of residual dissolved oxygen on the corrosion behavior of low carbon steel in 0.1 M NaHCO3 solution显示文摘The effect of residual dissolved oxygen(DO)on the corrosion behavior of carbon steel in 0.1 M Na HCO_3solution was investigated by electrochemical measurements, corrosion mass loss test, scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and X-ray diffraction(XRD).In the initial immersion stage, the increase of the dissolved oxygen concentration led to the change of from a reductive state of active dissolution to an oxidizing state of pseudo passivation in low carbon steel. While in the final stage, all the steels transformed into the steady state of pseudo passivation. In the anaerobic solution, the formation ofα-Fe OOH was attributed to the chemical oxidization of the ferrous corrosion products and the final cathodic process only included the reduction ofα-Fe OOH,while in the aerobic solution,it included the reduction of oxygen andα-Fe OOH simultaneously. As the main corrosion products, the content ofα-Fe OOH was increased while that of Fe_6(OH)_(12)CO_3was decreased with increasing concentration of dissolved oxygen. The total corrosion mass loss of the steel was promoted with the increase of dissolved oxygen concentration. | Fang Xue Xin Wei Junhua Dong Ini-Ibehe Nabuk Etim Changgang Wang Wei Ke | 2018 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2018,34,8: | 8
Multi-agent modeling and analysis of EV users' travel willingness based on an integrated causal/statistical/behavioral model显示文摘An electric vehicle(EV) centred ecosystem has not yet been formed, the existing limited statistic data are far from enough for the analysis of EV users' travel and charge behaviors, which however tends to be affected by many certain and uncertain factors. An experimental economics(EE)-based simulation method can be used to analyze thebehaviors of key participants in a system. However, it is restricted by the system size, experimental site and the number of qualified human participants. Therefore, this method is hard to be adopted for the behavioral analysis of a large number of human participants. In this paper, a new method combining a questionnaire statistics and the EEbased simulation is proposed. The causal relationship is considered in the design of the questionnaires and data extraction, then a multi-agent modeling integration method is introduced in the EE-based simulation, which enables the integration of causal/statistical/behavioral models into the multi-agent framework to reflect the EV users' travel willingness statistically. The generated multi-agents are used to replace human participants in the EE-based simulation in order to evaluate EV users' travel demands in different scenarios, and compare the differences of simulated or measured travel behaviors between potential EV users and internal combustion engine(ICE) vehicle users. | Juai WU Yusheng XUE Dongliang XIE Kang LI Fushuan WEN Junhua ZHAO Guangya YANG Qiuwei WU | 2018 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2018,6,6: | 7

Face Masks in the New COVID-19 Normal: Materials, Testing, and Perspectives显示文摘The increasing prevalence of infectious diseases in recent decades has posed a serious threat to public health.Routes of transmission differ, but the respiratory droplet or airborne route has the greatest potential to disrupt social intercourse, while being amenable to prevention by the humble facemask.Different types of masks give different levels of protection to the user. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has even resulted in a global shortage of face masks and the raw materials that go into them, driving individuals to self-produce masks from household items. At the same time, research has been accelerated towards improving the quality and performance of face masks,e.g.,by introducing properties such as antimicrobial activity and superhydrophobicity. This review will cover mask-wearing from the public health perspective, the technical details of commercial and home-made masks, and recent advances in mask engineering, disinfection, and materials and discuss the sustainability of mask-wearing and mask production into the future. | Ming Hui Chua Weiren Cheng Shermin Simin Goh Junhua Kong Bing Li Jason Y.CLim Lu Mao Suxi Wang Kun Xue Le Yang Enyi Ye Kangyi Zhang Wun Chet Davy Cheong Beng Hoon Tan Zibiao Li Ban Hock Tan Xian Jun Loh | 2020 | Research2020,,1: | 5
Effect of chloride ion on corrosion behavior of low carbon steel in 0.1 M NaHCO_3 solution with different dissolved oxygen concentrations显示文摘The corrosion behavior of low carbon steel in 0.1 M NaHCO_3+ 0.1 M NaCl solution with different dissolved oxygen concentrations was investigated with gravimetric tests and electrochemical measurements. Results show that the corrosion mass loss of steel is remarkably increased with the addition of chloride ion. In the initial stage, the carbon steel tends to active dissolution due to the dissolution effect of chloride ion on the oxide film; as a result, the corrosion potential maintains as low values. With the immersion time going by, the corrosion potential of the steel is promoted as a result of the accumulation of the corrosion products. However, the rust layer is loose and porous due to the deteriorating effect of chloride ion, which decreases the reduction resistance of oxygen. Meanwhile, the porous rust layer could be repaired by the depolarization of oxygen. Under the synergistic effect of chloride ion and oxygen, the corrosion of the steel is accelerated during the repeated process of dissolution and reparation of the oxide film. | Fang Xue Xin Wei Junhua Dong Changgang Wang Wei Ke | 2019 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,4: | 5
Electrochemical noise analysis on the pit corrosion susceptibility of biodegradable AZ31 magnesium alloy in four types of simulated body solutions显示文摘Magnesium alloys have been investigated as biodegradable implant materials since the last century. Nonuniform degradation caused by local corrosion limits their application, and no appropriate technology has been used in the research. In this study, electrochemical noise has been used to study the pit corrosion on magnesium alloy AZ31 in four types of simulated body solutions, and the data have been analyzed using wavelet analysis and stochastic theory. Combining these with the conventional polarization curves, mass loss tests and scanning electron microscopy, the electrochemical noise results implied that AZ31 alloy in normal saline has the fastest corrosion rate, a high pit initiation rate, and maximum pit growth probability. In Hanks' balanced salt solution and phosphate-buffered saline, AZ31 alloy has a high pit initiation rate and larger pit growth probability, while in simulated body fluid, AZ31 alloy has the slowest corrosion rate, lowest pit initiation rate and smallest pit growth probability. | changgang wang liping wu fang xue rongyao ma ini-ibehe nabuk etim xuehui hao junhua dong wei ke | 2018 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2018,34,10: | 4
Application of deep borehole blasting on fully mechanized hard top-coal pre-splitting and gas extraction in the special thick seam显示文摘In order to solve the problems of top-coal inadequate destruction and large amounts of gas emission in mining extra thick and hard coal seam, this study investigated the pre-splitting for deep borehole blasting and gas pre-draining technologies on top coal. The mechanism of the technologies was systematically expounded based on hard top-coal cracks development obtained by numerical simulation and theoretical analysis. The results show that explosive blasting in the hard rock results in a large number of cracks and large displacement in the rock mass due to the effect of explosion stress.Meanwhile, the thick top-coal caves, and desorbing gas flows along the cracks improve gas extraction. Finally, the pre-splitting for deep borehole blasting and gas pre-draining technologies was applied in No.3802 working face of Shui Liandong Coal Mine, which increases monthly output in the face to 67.34 kt and the drained gas concentration to 86.2%.The drained gas average concentration from each borehole reaches 40%,and the effect is remarkable. | Liu Jian Liu Zegong Xue Junhua Gao Kui Zhou Wei | 2015 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2015,25,5: | 3
Activation characteristics analysis on concealed fault in the excavating coal roadway based on microseismic monitoring technique显示文摘In order to effectively monitor the concealed fault activation process in excavation activities, based on the actual condition of a working face containing faults with high outburst danger in Xin Zhuangzi mine in Huainan, China, we carried out all-side tracking and monitoring on the fault activation process and development trend in excavation activities by establishing a microseismic monitoring system. The results show that excavation activities have a rather great influence on the fault activation. With the working face approaching the fault, the fault activation builds up and the outburst danger increases; when the excavation activities finishes, the fault activation tends to be stable. The number of microseismic events are corresponding to the intensity of fault activation, and the distribution rules of microseismic events can effectively determine the fault occurrence in the mine. Microseismic monitoring technique is accurate in terms of detecting geologic tectonic activities, such as fault activations lying ahead during excavation activities. By utilizing this technique, we can determine outburst danger in excavation activities in time and accordingly take effective countermeasures to prevent and reduce the occurrence of outburst accidents. | Liu Chao Li Shugang Cheng Cheng Xue Junhua | 2017 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2017,27,5: | 2

In sight of K-deficient layered K_(x)MnO_(2) cathode for potassium-ions batteries显示文摘Potassium-ions batteries(PIBs)are attracting increasing attention as up-and-coming youngster in largescale grid-level energy storage benefiting from its low-cost and high energy density.Nevertheless, enough researches regarding indispensable cathode materials for PIBs are badly absent.Herein,we synthesize K-deficient layered manganese-based oxides(P2-K_(0.21)MnO_(2) and P3-K_(0.23)MnO_(2))and investigate them as cathode of PIBs for the first time.As the newcomer of potassium-containing layered manganese-based oxides(K_(x)MnO_(2))group,P2-K_(0.21)MnO_(2) delivers high discharge capacity of 99.3 mAh g^(-1) and P3-K_(0.23)MnO_(2) exhibits remarkable capacity retention rate of 75.5%.Besides,in-situ XRD and ex-situ XRD measurements reveal the reversible phase transition of P2-K_(0.21)MnO_(2) and P3-K_(0.23)MnO_(2) with the potassium-ions extraction and reinsertion, respectively. This work contributes to a better understanding for the potassium storage in K-deficient layered K_(x)MnO_(2)(x≤0.23),possessing an important basic scientific significance for the exploitation and application of layered K_(x)MnO_(2) in PIBs. | Tiezhong Liu Shuang Hou Youpeng Li Shoufeng Xue Junhua Hu Haikuo Fu Chenghao Yang Lingzhi Zhao | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1: | 2

Characterizing noise correlation and enhancing coherence via qubit motion显示文摘The identification of spacial noise correlation is of critical importance in developing error-corrected quantum devices, but it has barely been studied so far.In this work,we utilize an effective method called qubit motion,to efficiently determine the noise correlations between any pair of qubits in a 7-qubit superconducting quantum system. The noise correlations between the same pairs of qubits are also investigated when the qubits are at distinct operating frequencies. What’s more,in this multi-qubit system with the presence of noise correlations,we demonstrate the enhancing effect of qubit motion on the coherence of logic qubits, and we propose a Motion-CPMG operation sequence to more efficiently protect the logic state from decoherence, which is experimentally demonstrated to extend the coherence time of logic qubits by nearly one order of magnitude. | Jiaxiu Han Zhiyuan Li Jingning Zhang Huikai Xu Kehuan Linghu Yongchao Li Chengyao Li Mo Chen Zhen Yang Junhua Wang Teng Ma Guangming Xue Yirong Jin Haifeng Yu | 2021 | Fundamental Research2021,1,1: | 1
