1Drug resistance mutation profiles of the drug-nave and first-line regimen-treated HIV-1-infected population of Suzhou, China显示文摘Little is known about the prevalence of drug-resistant mutations in HIV-1-positive individuals in Suzhou, China. To elucidate the transmitted drug resistance(TDR) and acquired drug resistance mutation(ADR) profiles, we collected blood specimens from 127 drug-naive and 117 first-line drugtreated HIV-1-infected individuals sampled from 2014 to 2016 in Suzhou. We successfully amplified po/fragments from 100 drug-naive and 20 drug-treated samples. We then determined the drugresistant mutations to protease(PR) and reverse-transcriptase(RT) inhibitors according to the Stanford drug resistance database. Overall, 11 and 13 individuals had transmitted(drug-naive group) and acquired(treated group) resistance mutations, respectively. Six transmitted drugresistant mutations were found, including two mutations(L33F and L76V) in the protease region and four(K70N/E and V179D/E) in the RT region. Only L76 V was a major mutation, and K70N/E and V179D/E are known to cause low-level resistance to RT inhibitors. All 13 treated participants who had major drug resistance mutations demonstrated intermediate to high resistance to efavirenz and nevirapine, and six had a treatment duration of less than three months. No major mutations to RT inhibitors were found, implying that the epidemic of transmitted resistance mutations was not significant in this area. Our results suggest that more frequent virus load and drug resistance mutation tests should be conducted for individuals receiving antiretroviral treatment, especially for newly treated patients. 3Beads-on-string hierarchical structured electrocatalysts for efficient oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Rational design of hierarchically structured electrocatalysts is particularly important for electrocatalytic oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Here,ZIF-67 crystals are stringed on core-shell Ag@C nanocables using a coordinationmodulated process.Upon pyrolysis,Ag@C strings of Co nanoparticles embedded with three-dimensional porous carbon with beads-on-string hierarchical structures are developed.Due to the advantages of the rich electrochemical active sites of Co-based“beads”and the efficient electron transfer pathways via Ag@C“strings,”the resultant NH_(3)-Ag@C@Co-N-C-700 catalyst shows an improved electrocatalytic activity toward ORR.NH_(3)-Ag@C@Co-N-C-700 shows a high onset potential of 0.99 V versus RHE,a high half-wave potential of 0.88 V versus RHE,and a large limiting current of 5.8 mA cm^(-2),which are better than those of commercial Pt/C electrocatalysts.Additionally,the NH_(3)-Ag@C@Co-N-C-700 catalyst shows high stability and preeminent methanol tolerance,which makes NH_(3)-Ag@C@Co-N-C-700 a promising catalyst for oxygen electrocatalysis in fuel cell applications.Yang Yuan Qing Zhang Yinling Li Luyao Lv Yan Hou Ge Li Jing Fu Lin Yang Zhengyu Bai 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,2:1
4Single-atomic Fe anchored on hierarchically porous carbon frame for efficient oxygen reduction performance显示文摘Exploring platinum group metal-free electrocatalysts with superior catalytic performance and favorable durability for oxygen reduction reaction is a remaining bottleneck in process of developing sustainable techniques in energy storage and conversion. Herein, a hierarchical porous single atomic Fe electrocatalyst(Fe/Z8-E-C) is rationally designed and synthesized via acid etching, calcination, adsorption of Fe precursor and recalcination processes. This unique electrocatalyst Fe/Z8-E-C shows excellent oxygen reduction performance with a half-wave potential of 0.89 V in 0.1 mol/L KOH, 30 m V superior to that of commercial Pt/C(0.86 V), which is also significantly higher than that of typical Fe-doped ZIF-8 derived carbon nanoparticles(Fe/Z8-C) with a half-wave potential of 0.84 V. Furthermore, Fe/Z8-E-C-based Zn-air battery exhibits greatly enhanced peak power density and specific capacity than those of original Fe/Z8-C,verifying the remarkable performance and practicability of this specially designed hierarchical structure due to its efficient utilization of the active sites and rapid mass transfer. 6Current applications of artificial intelligence-based computer vision in laparoscopic surgery显示文摘Recent advances in artificial intelligence(AI)have sparked a surge in the application of computer vision(CV)in surgical video analysis.Laparoscopic surgery produces a large number of surgical videos,which provides a new opportunity for improving of CV technology in laparoscopic surgery.AI-based CV techniques may leverage these surgical video data to develop real-time automated decision support tools and surgeon training systems,which shows a new direction in dealing with the shortcomings of laparoscopic surgery.The effectiveness of CV applications in surgical procedures is still under early evaluation,so it is necessary to discuss challenges and obstacles.The review introduced the commonly used deep learning algorithms in CV and described their usage in detail in four application scenes,including phase recognition,anatomy detection,instrument detection and action recognition in laparoscopic surgery.The currently described applications of CV in laparoscopic surgery are limited.Most of the current research focuses on the identification of workflow and anatomical structure,while the identification of instruments and surgical actions is still awaiting further breakthroughs.Future research on the use of CV in laparoscopic surgery should focus on applications in more scenarios,such as surgeon skill assessment and the development of more efficient models.Kangwei Guo Haisu Tao Yilin Zhu Baihong Li Chihua Fang Yinling Qian Jian Yang 2023Laparoscopic, Endoscopic and Robotic Surgery2023,6,3:0
7Ultrafine PdRu Nanoparticles Immobilized in Metal-Organic Frameworks for Efficient Fluorophenol Hydrodefluorination under Mild Aqueous Conditions显示文摘Fluorinated organic compounds are of great importance to modern industries,while their release to the environment is inevitable,causing extreme environmental pollution and the subsequent hazardous effect on ecosystems.This is because the degradation of fluorinated compounds under mild conditions remains a challenging task due to the strong C-F bond strength.In this study,we report preparation of PdRu@MIL-101 through immobilizing ultrafine PdRu alloy nanoparticles with a mean diameter of∼2 nminto the metal-organic framework(MOF),MIL-101(Cr),which was highly active and stable in the hydrodefluorination of 4-fluorophenol(4-FP)under mild aqueous conditions.The optimized catalyst Pd0.5Ru0.5@MIL-101 achieved impressive hydrogenation performance with a 98.5% conversion of 4-FP and a 97.7% selectivity of cyclohexanol,much better than the single metal-doped Pd@MIL-101 and Ru@MIL-101 catalysts.The excellent catalytic behavior contributed to the synergistic effect of combining the PdRu alloying effect and the MOF nanospace confinement effect,providing a promising strategy to develop highly efficient hydrodefluorination catalysts to assist environmental restoration and green ecology.Wenqian Yang Qinglin Liu Jun Yang Jiahui Xian Yinle Li Guangqin Li Cheng-Yong Su 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,7:0
8Thermal expansion-quench of nickel metal-organic framework into nanosheets for efficient visible light CO_(2) reduction显示文摘Metal-organic framework nanosheets (MOF NNs) offer potential opportunities for many applications,but an efficient strategy for the scalable preparation of few-layered two-dimensional (2D) MOF NNs are still a major challenge.Herein,we present an efficient top-down method for the synthesis of the Ni-BDC(Ni_(2)(OH)_(2)(1,4-BDC);1,4-BDC=1,4-benzenedicarboxylate) nanosheets utilizing a novel thermal expansionquench method of the flowerlike bulky MOFs in liquid N2.The obtained Ni-BDC nanosheets exhibit significantly enhanced photocatalytic performance of reductive CO_(2)deoxygenation (7.0μmol h^(-1)mg^(-1)) under visible light illumination compared with the bulky MOFs,due to much higher surface area for CO_(2)adsorption,more abundant active sites exposed and stronger electron transport ability of the nanosheets.More importantly,this synthetic strategy can be extended to fabricate other MOF nanosheets which also exhibit significantly improved performance for deoxygenative CO_(2)reduction compared to their bulky counterparts.This work may provide a guideline for preparing other 2D layered photocatalysts materials to realize energy conversion applications.Liuyong Chen Qinglin Liu Jun Yang Yinle Li Guangqin Li 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,2:0
