| 1 | Redox-neutral photocatalytic strategy for selective C–C bond cleavage of lignin and lignin models via PCET process显示文摘It remains challenging to achieve the selective cleavage of C–C bonds in lignin or lignin model compounds to produce aromatic products in high yield and selectivity.We have developed a redox-neutral photocatalytic strategy to accomplish this goal in both b-O-4 and b-1 lignin models at room temperature(RT)via proton-coupled electron transfer(PCET)process without any pretreatments of substrate,by adjusting the alkalinity of base to obtain a lignin models/base PCET pair with a bond dissociation free energy close to 102 kcal/mol.Without breaking down C_b–Ccbond and any C–O bonds,this PCET method is 100%atom economy and produces exclusive Ca–C_bbond cleavage products,such as benzaldehydes(up to 97%)and phenyl ethers(up to 96%),in high to excellent yields and selectivities.Preliminary studies indicated that the PCET strategy is also effective for the depolymerization of native lignin at RT,thus providing significantly important foundation to the depolymerization of lignin. | Yinling Wang Yue Liu Jianghua He Yuetao Zhang | 2019 | Science Bulletin2019,64,22: | 8 |
| 2 | Drug resistance mutation profiles of the drug-nave and first-line regimen-treated HIV-1-infected population of Suzhou, China显示文摘Little is known about the prevalence of drug-resistant mutations in HIV-1-positive individuals in Suzhou, China. To elucidate the transmitted drug resistance(TDR) and acquired drug resistance mutation(ADR) profiles, we collected blood specimens from 127 drug-naive and 117 first-line drugtreated HIV-1-infected individuals sampled from 2014 to 2016 in Suzhou. We successfully amplified po/fragments from 100 drug-naive and 20 drug-treated samples. We then determined the drugresistant mutations to protease(PR) and reverse-transcriptase(RT) inhibitors according to the Stanford drug resistance database. Overall, 11 and 13 individuals had transmitted(drug-naive group) and acquired(treated group) resistance mutations, respectively. Six transmitted drugresistant mutations were found, including two mutations(L33F and L76V) in the protease region and four(K70N/E and V179D/E) in the RT region. Only L76 V was a major mutation, and K70N/E and V179D/E are known to cause low-level resistance to RT inhibitors. All 13 treated participants who had major drug resistance mutations demonstrated intermediate to high resistance to efavirenz and nevirapine, and six had a treatment duration of less than three months. No major mutations to RT inhibitors were found, implying that the epidemic of transmitted resistance mutations was not significant in this area. Our results suggest that more frequent virus load and drug resistance mutation tests should be conducted for individuals receiving antiretroviral treatment, especially for newly treated patients. | 4 | CeCl_(3)-Promoted Simultaneous Photocatalytic Cleavage and Amination of C_(α)–C_(β)Bond in Lignin Model Compounds and Native Lignin显示文摘It remains challenging to achievevaluableplatformchemicals from lignin because of itscomplicated polymeric structure and inherent inert chemical activities.So far,only a fewexamples have been reported for the selective cleavage of C–C bonds in lignin due to their intrinsic inertness and ubiquity.Here,we present a simple and commercially available cerium(Ⅲ)chloride(CeCl_(3))-promoted photocatalytic depolymerization strategy to realize the simultaneous cleavage and amination ofC_(α)–C_(β)bond in a variety of lignin model compounds at room temperature.This procedure does not require any pretreatments and breakdown of C–O bonds or loss ofγ-CH_(2)OHgroup to generate aldehydes(up to 97%)and N-containing products(up to 95%)in good to excellent yields.Additionally,this CeCl_(3)-based photocatalyst system could maintain excellent catalytic performance even after 10 sequential cycles with newstarting materials.Moreover,this approach realizes the precise control over the reaction via switching the external light stimuli on/off.Further,this method is effective for the depolymerization of real lignin,thus affording the corresponding cleavage and amination products of C_(α)–C_(β)bonds. | Yinling Wang Jianghua He Yuetao Zhang | 2020 | CCS Chemistry2020,2,3: | 1 |

| 9 | A Novel Tracking-by-Detection Method with Local Binary Pattern and Kalman Filter显示文摘Tracking-Learning-Detection( TLD) is an adaptive tracking algorithm,which tracks by learning the appearance of the object as the video progresses and shows a good performance in long-term tracking task.But our experiments show that under some scenarios,such as non-uniform illumination changing,serious occlusion,or motion-blurred,it may fails to track the object. In this paper,to surmount some of these shortages,especially for the non-uniform illumination changing,and give full play to the performance of the tracking-learning-detection framework, we integrate the local binary pattern( LBP) with the cascade classifiers,and define a new classifier named ULBP( Uniform Local Binary Pattern) classifiers. When the object appearance has rich texture features,the ULBP classifier will work instead of the nearest neighbor classifier in TLD algorithm,and a recognition module is designed to choose the suitable classifier between the original nearest neighbor( NN) classifier and the ULBP classifier. To further decrease the computing load of the proposed tracking approach,Kalman filter is applied to predict the searching range of the tracking object.A comprehensive study has been conducted to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm (TLD _ULBP),and different multi-property datasets were used. This approach synthesizes the computer simulation technology, orthogonal genetic algorithm and statistical test method faultlessly, which can solve complex optimization problem effectively. In this paper, the author gives the correlative conception of probability simulation optimization and describes the probability simulation optimization approach using orthogonal genetic algorithm in detail. Theoretically speaking, it has a strong rationality and maneuverability that can apply probability method in solving the complex optimization problems with uncertain phenomenon. In demonstration, the optimization performance of this method is better than other traditional methods. | 13 | Morphological modification of Mg_(2)Si phase and strengthening mechanism in Mg_(2)Si/Al composites by Eu addition and T6 heat treatment显示文摘In order to improve mechanical properties of Mg_(2)Si/Al composites,Eu element was added to mod-ify Mg_(2)Si morphology,and T6 heat treatment was used to control Mg_(2)Si morphology and precipitate strengthening phase.Microstructure and morphology of Mg_(2)Si were observed by synchrotron X-ray to-mography and TEM,and first-principles calculations were also performed to testify the effect of Eu mod-ification.Results show that the size of primary Mg_(2)Si particles decreases and eutectic Mg_(2)Si phase trans-forms from lamellar to fibrous by Eu addition.After heat treatment,sharp angles of primary Mg_(2)Si par-ticles passivate,and eutectic Mg_(2)Si dissolves and appears to be short dot-like.Meanwhile,nano-sizedβ'phase precipitates in the matrix.For morphology of Mg_(2)Si with Eu modification,TEM results show that Eu impedes the growing of Mg_(2)Si,which is verified by first-principles calculations that Eu atom preferentially adsorbs on Mg_(2)Si{100}facet.The adsorption and suppression growing of Mg_(2)Si transform the morphology of Mg_(2)Si and thus improve the elongation.UTS and elongation of the heat-treated Eu modified composites are 281 MPa and 8.4%,which improved 81%and 200%compared to the as-cast Al-15%Mg_(2)Si composite.The strengthening mechanism mainly results from precipitation strengthening of nano-sizedβ'precipitates in the heat-treated composite. | Yinling Jin Hongze Fang Ruirun Chen Jiwei Wang Shichen Sun Shu Wang Bin Shao Jingjie Guo | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,28: | 0 |
