| 1 | Adsorption behavior of phosphate on Lanthanum(Ⅲ) doped mesoporous silicates material显示文摘A series of lanthanum doped meosoporous MCM-41(LaxM41,x is Si/La molar ratio) was prepared by sol-gel method.The surface structure of the materials was investigated with X-ray diffraction and N2 adsorption/desorption technique.The content of La in the materials was determined by ICP.It was found that the La content of La25M41,La50M41 and La100M41 was 7.53%,3.89% and 2.32%,respectively.The phosphate adsorption capacities increased with increasing amount of La incorporation.With 0.40 g La25M41 99.7% phosphate could be removed.The effects of Si/La molar ratio,LaxM41 dose,pH,initial concentration of phosphate solution,co-ions on phosphate adsorption were also evaluated.The phosphate adsorption kinetics of LaxM41 could be well-described by the pseudo second-order model,and Langmuir isotherm fit equilibrium data much better than the Freundlich isotherm. | Jianda Zhang Zhemin Shen Wenpo Shan Ziyan Chen Zhijian Mei Yangming Lei Wenhua Wang | 2010 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,4: | 18 |
| 2 | Long-term joint effect of nutrients and temperature increase on algal growth in Lake Taihu,China显示文摘To study how global warming and eutrophication affect water ecosystems,a multiplicative growth Monod model,modified by incorporating the Arrhenius equation,was applied to Lake Taihu to quantitatively study the relationships between algal biomass and both nutrients and temperature using long-term data.To qualitatively assess which factor was a limitation of the improved model,temperature variables were calculated using annual mean air temperature (AT),water temperature (WT),and their average temperature (ST),while substrate variables were calculated using annual mean total nitrogen (TN),total phosphorus (TP),and their weighted aggregate (R),respectively.The nine fitted curves showed that TN and AT were two important factors influencing algal growth;AT limited growth as algal photosynthesis is mainly carried out near the water surface;N leakage of phytoplankton and internal phosphorus load from sediment explains why TN was the best predictor of peak biomass using the Monod model.The fitted results suggest that annual mean algal biomass increased by 0.145 times when annual mean AT increased by 1.0°C.Results also showed that the more eutrophic the lake,the greater the effect AT had on algal growth.Subsequently,the long-term joint effect of annual temperature increase and eutrophication to water ecosystems can be quantitatively assessed and predicted. | Chun Ye Zhemin Shen Tao Zhang Maohong Fan Yangming Lei Jianda Zhang | 2011 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,2: | 9 |
| 3 | Genetic-algorithm-based deep neural networks for highly efficient photonic device design显示文摘While deep learning has demonstrated tremendous potential for photonic device design,it often demands a large amount of labeled data to train these deep neural network models.Preparing these data requires high-resolution numerical simulations or experimental measurements and cost significant,if not prohibitive,time and resources.In this work,we present a highly efficient inverse design method that combines deep neural networks with a genetic algorithm to optimize the geometry of photonic devices in the polar coordinate system.The method requires significantly less training data compared with previous inverse design methods.We implement this method to design several ultra-compact silicon photonics devices with challenging properties including power splitters with uncommon splitting ratios,a TE mode converter,and a broadband power splitter.These devices are free of the features beyond the capability of photolithography and generally in compliance with silicon photonics fabrication design rules. | YANGMING REN LINGXUAN ZHANG WEIQIANG WANG XINYU WANG YUFANG LEI YULONG XUE XIAOCHEN SUN WENFU ZHANG | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,6: | 6 |

| 8 | A pan-coronavirus peptide inhibitor prevents SARS-CoV-2 infection in mice by intranasal delivery显示文摘Coronaviruses(Co Vs)have brought serious threats to humans,particularly severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-Co V-2),which continually evolves into multiple variants.These variants,especially Omicron,reportedly escape therapeutic antibodies and vaccines,indicating an urgent need for new antivirals with pan-SARS-Co V-2 inhibitory activity.We previously reported that a peptide fusion inhibitor,P3,targeting heptad repeated-1(HR1)of SARS-Co V-2 spike(S)protein,could inhibit viral infections.Here,we further designed multiple derivatives of the P3 based on structural analysis and found that one derivative,the P315V3,showed the most efficient antiviral activity against SARS-Co V-2 variants and several other sarbecoviruses,as well as other human-Co Vs(HCo Vs).P315V3 also exhibited effective prophylactic efficacy against the SARS-Co V-2 Delta and Omicron variants in mice via intranasal administration.These results suggest that P315V3,which is in PhaseⅡclinical trial,is promising for further development as a nasal pan-SARS-Co V-2 or pan-Co Vs inhibitor to prevent or treat CoV diseases. | Lili Wu Anqi Zheng Yangming Tang Yan Chai Jiantao Chen Lin Cheng Yu Hu Jing Qu Wenwen Lei William Jun Liu Guizhen Wu Shaogui Zeng Hang Yang Qihui Wang George Fu Gao | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,10: | 0 |
