1High-accuracy primary and transfer standards for radiometric calibration显示文摘The first research and experimental results obtained in China of high-accuracy radiometric calibration based on cryogenic radiometer are reported. 2Embryonic endothelial evolution towards first hematopoietic stem cells revealed by single-cell transcriptomic and functional analyses显示文摘Hematopoietic stem cells(HSCs)in adults are believed to be born from hemogenic endothelial cells(HECs)in mid-gestational embryos.Due to the rare and transient nature,the HSC-competent HECs have never been stringently identified and accurately captured,let alone their genuine vascular precursors.Here,we first used high-precision single-cell transcriptomics to unbiasedly examine the relevant EC populations at continuous developmental stages with intervals of 0.5 days from embryonic day(E)9.5 to E11.0.As a consequence,we transcriptomically identified two molecularly different arterial EC populations and putative HSCprimed HECs,whose number peaked at El 0.0 and sharply decreased thereafter,in the dorsal aorta of the aorta-gonadmesonephros(AGM)region.Combining computational prediction and in vivo functional validation,we precisely captured HSCcompetent HECs by the newly constructed Neurl3-EGFP reporter mouse model,and realized the enrichment further by a combination of surface markers(Procr+Kit+CD44+,PK44).Surprisingly,the endothelial-hematopoietic dual potential was rarely but reliably witnessed in the cultures of single HECs.Noteworthy,primitive vascular ECs from E8.0 experienced two-step fate choices to become HSC-primed HECs,namely an Initial arterial fate choice followed by a hemogenic fate conversion.This finding resolves several previously observed contradictions.Taken together,comprehensive understanding of endothelial evolutions and molecular programs underlying HSC-primed HEC specification in vivo will facilitate future investigations directing HSC production in vitro.Siyuan Hou Zongcheng Li Xiaona Zheng Yun Gao Ji Dong Yanli Ni Xiaobo Wang Yunqiao Li Xiaochen Ding Zhilin Chang Shuaili Li Yuqiong Hu Xiaoying Fan Yu Hou Lu Wen Bing Liu Fuchou Tang Yu Lan 2020Cell Research2020,30,5:8
3A drainage-enhancing device for foam fractionation of proteins显示文摘The foam fractionation of nisin from its fermentation broth was studied.Two types of devices consisting of a rubber piston and a foam riser were developed to enhance foam drainage.The separation performance of these two devices was investigated.Experimental results indicated that the second device could significantly reduce the liquid fraction of the foam leaving the column,εout,leading to a higher enrichment of the out-flow stream.As its mounting height increased from 0 to 15 cm,εout declined from 7.07‰ to 6.13 ‰ and the maximum nisin activity in the foamate could reach 39.6 IU/μL.The slight increase in nisin inactivation rate indicated the applicability of this method in the recovery and concentration of proteins.Finally,the mechanism of the process was primarily explained by invoking recent work on pneumatic foams.This research provides a basis for the design of multistage draining foam fractionator which could potentially be an effective separation equipment.WU ZhaoLiang QIAN ShaoYu ZHENG HuiJie ZHAO YanLi 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,12:7
4A topologically substituted boron nitride hybrid aerogel for highly selective CO2 uptake显示文摘A topologically mediated synthesis of porous boron nitride aerogel has been experimentally and theoretically investigated for carbon dioxide (CO2)uptake. 5Prediction of nitrogen and phosphorus contents in citrus leaves based on hyperspectral imaging显示文摘The nutritional status of citrus leaves is very important to the determining of fertilization plans.The spectrum technique is a quick,un-injured method and is becoming widely used for plant nutrient estimation.The possibility and method of using spectrum technique to estimate the nutrient of citrus leaf was explored in this study.A total amount of 135 leaves from the mature spring shoots of navel orange trees(C.sinensis Osbeck,“Newhall”)were collected and randomly grouped into two sets of samples:100 leaves for the calibration set and 35 leaves for the prediction set.The hyperspectral images were scanned upper and lower side of each leaf and then the total nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)contents of each leaf were measured.The raw spectra data were extracted to generate average spectra curves,preprocessed with five different methods,and was used to build N and P content prediction models.The performances of the five preprocessing methods,i.e.,Savitzky-Golay smoothing(SGS),standard normal variate(SNV),multiplicative scatter correction(MSC),first-derivative(1-Der)and second-derivative(2-Der),were tested with linear partial least squares(PLS)models and nonlinear least squares-support vector machine(LS-SVM)models.The results showed that the SG-PLS and PLS were the best for the N predicting(Rp=0.9049,RMSEP=0.1041)and P(Rp=0.9235,RMSEP=0.0514)in citrus leaves,respectively;the hyperspectral image data from leaf‟s upper side predicting better for the contents of N and P.The study suggested that the hyperspectral image data from the upper side of the citrus leaves are suitable for nondestructive estimation of nutrient content.Liu Yanli Lyu Qiang He Shaolan Yi Shilai Liu Xuefeng Xie Rangjin Zheng Yongqiang Deng Lie 2015International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,2:5

7Microscopic phase field study of the antisite defect of Ni_3 Al in binary Ni-Al alloys显示文摘The temporal evolution feature of a microscopic phase field model is utilized to study the antisite defects of L1 2-Ni 3 Al;this is quite different from other physicist’ interests.There are mainly two points in brief.Firstly,antisite defects Ni Al and Al Ni ,which are caused by the deviation from the stoichiometric Ni 3 Al,coexist in the Ni 3 Al phase.The surplus Ni atom in the Ni-rich side is prone to substitute Al thus producing the antisite defect Ni Al that maintains the stability of the L1 2 structure.In other case,the surplus Al atom in the Al-rich side is accommodated by a Ni sublattice consequently giving rise to antisite defect Al Ni .The calculated equilibrium occupancy probability of Ni Al is much higher than that of Al Ni .This point is generally in line with other theoretical and experimental works.Additionally,both Ni Al and Al Ni have a strong negative correlation to time step during the disorder-order transformation.Since the initial value of Ni Al and Al Ni on each site of the matrix is right at the concentration that we set,we can observe the decrease process of Ni Al and Al Ni from the initial disordered high anti-structure state to their respective equilibrium state,i.e.to the result of the ordering process further coarsening.ZHANG Jing ,CHEN Zheng,LU YanLi,ZHANG MingYi & WANG YongXin State Key Laboratory of Solidification Processing School of Material Science and Engineering,Northwestern Polytechnical University,Xi’an 710072,China 2010Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,11:3
8The Changes in Guilin Paddy Soil Organic Matter and Rice Yield under Long-Term Fertilization显示文摘Rational fertilization is an important measure to increase crop yield and soil fertility. Through analysis,this paper aims to master the change characteristics of soil organic matter and rice yield under different fertilizer treatments,in order to provide an important reference for the sustainable use of soil and effective fertilization. Long-term( 19 years) rice crop rotation experiments in waterloggogenic paddy soil were conducted to investigate the change trend of crop grain yield and soil organic matter with time,reveal the dynamic characteristics and relationship between main fertility factors and crop yields using comparative analysis at three sites with conventional fertilization and non-fertilization in Guilin. The results showed that compared with previous years,the rice yield increased by 53% under the fertilization treatment and degreased by 66% under the control. Over the years,the average soil organic matter( SOM) content under fertilization treatment was 23% higher than under CK treatment. 9Study of a Ru-La/ZrO_2 Catalyst Prepared by Precipitation Method for Selective Hydrogenation of Benzene to Cyclohexene显示文摘A Ru-La/ZrO2 catalyst was prepared by the precipitation method, in which Ru was an active component, La was a promoter and ZrO2 was a dispersant. Comparing with the catalyst prepared by the chemical reduction method, the Ru-La/ZrO2 exhibited higher activity and better selectivity. At 140 °C and hydrogen pressure of 5 MPa, the C6H10 selectivity reached 70% at a C6H6 conversion of 35% for a reaction time was 5 min and the total La/Ru loading was 10%. Textural parameters of the catalyst were obtained by physical adsorption, BET surface area and specific pore volume measurements. The catalyst sample gave a BET area of 41 m2/g and a specific pore volume of 1.1 cm3/g, and the most probable pore distribution was located at 5 to 10 nm. H2-TPR measurements showed that ruthenium oxide could be reduced to its metallic state at about 403 K. XRD determinations indicated that ruthenium and lanthanum were highly dispersed on the zirconia. 12Direct Imaging of Titania Nanotubes Located in Mouse Neural Stem Cell Nuclei显示文摘Titania nanotubes(TiO2-NTs)are a potential drug vehicle for use in nanomedicine.To this end,a preliminary study of the interaction of a model cell with TiO2-NTs has been carried out.TiO2-NTs were first conjugated with a fl uorescent label,fl uorescein isothiocyanate(FITC).FITC-conjugated titania nanotubes(FITC-TiO2-NTs)internalized in mouse neural stem cells(NSCs,line C17.2)can be directly imaged by confocal microscopy.The confocal imaging showed that FITC-TiO2-NTs readily entered into the cells.After co-incubation with cells for 24 h,FITC-TiO2-NTs localized around the cell nucleus without crossing the karyotheca.More interestingly,the nanotubes passed through the karyotheca entering the cell nucleus after co-incubation for 48 h.Atomic force microscopy(AFM)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)were also employed in tracking the nanotubes in the cell.These results will be of benefit in future studies of TiO2-NTs for use as a drug vehicle,particularly for DNA-targeting drugs.Yanli Wang Jia Wang Xiaoyong Deng Jiao Wang Haifang Wang Minghong Wu Zheng Jiao Yuanfang Liu 2009Nano Research2009,2,7:2

14Microscopic phase-field simulation of the coarsening behavior of coherent precipitates in Ni-Al alloys显示文摘On the basis of the microscopic phase-field dynamic model and the microelasticity theory, the characteristics of the coarsening behavior of γ′ phase in Ni-Al alloys have been systematically studied in a certain volume fraction of the precipitates. It was found that the initial irregular shape, randomly distributed γ′ phase, gradually transformed into cuboidal shape, regularly aligned along the [100] and [010] directions, and a highly preferential selected microstructure was formed during the later stage of precipita-tion. The volume fraction of the precipitates produced some effects on the precipitate morphology but did not produce an obvious ef-fect on the regularities of precipitate distribution. The coarsening rate constant from the cubic growth law decreased as a function of volume fraction for small volume fractions, remained constant for intermediate volume fractions, and increased as a function of volume fraction for large volume fractions. 15Simulation of the coarsening behavior of intermetallic precipitates in Ni_(75)Al_xV_(25-x) alloys显示文摘The coarsening behavior of L12 and D022 in Ni75AlxV25-x (x,at.%) alloys including coherent strain was investi-gated using the microscopic phase-field model. The simulation results indicate that the shape transition and spatial correla-tion of L12 and D022 are caused by the morphological-dependent anisotropic elastic interactions in the system. The coarsen-ing process of the particles is by means of neighbor particles impingement and aggregation into larger ones. For the strain-induced interactions between the precipitates,the LSW theory is altered for the coarsening behavior of L12 and D022. In addition,the simulation reveals that the growth and coarsening of D022 present two obvious stages at lower Al concentra-tion regions and proceed simultaneously at high Al concentration regions. 16Modulating effects of Astragalus polysaccharide on immune disorders via gut microbiota and the TLR4/NF-κB pathway in rats with syndrome of dampness stagnancy due to spleen deficiency显示文摘The syndrome of dampness stagnancy due to spleen deficiency(DSSD)is relatively common globally.Although the pathogenesis of DSSD remains unclear,evidence has suggested that the gut microbiota might play a significant role.Radix Astragali,used as both medicine and food,exerts the effects of tonifying spleen and qi.Astragalus polysaccharide(APS)comprises a macromolecule substance extracted from the dried root of Radix Astragali,which has many pharmacological functions.However,whether APS mitigates the immune disorders underlying the DSSD syndrome via regulating gut microbiota and the relevant mechanism remains unknown.Here,we used DSSD rats induced by high-fat and low-protein(HFLP)diet plus exhaustive swimming,and found that APS of moderate molecular weight increased the body weight gain and immune organ indexes,decreased the levels of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),IL-6,and endotoxin,and suppressed the Toll-like receptor 4/nuclear factor-κB(TLR4/NF-κB)pathway.Moreover,a total of 27 critical genera were significantly enriched according to the linear discriminant analysis effect size(LEfSe).APS increased the diversity of the gut microbiota and changed its composition,such as reducing the relative abundance of Pseudoflavonifractor and Paraprevotella,and increasing that of Parasutterella,Parabacteroides,Clostridium XIVb,Oscillibacter,Butyricicoccus,and Dorea.APS also elevated the contents of short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs).Furthermore,the correlation analysis indicated that 12 critical bacteria were related to the body weight gain and immune organ indexes.In general,our study demonstrated that APS ameliorated the immune disorders in DSSD rats via modulating their gut microbiota,especially for some bacteria involving immune and inflammatory response and SCFA production,as well as the TLR4/NF-κB pathway.This study provides an insight into the function of APS as a unique potential prebiotic through exerting systemic activities in treating DSSD.Wenxiao ZHAO Chenchen DUAN Yanli LIU Guangying LU Qin LYU Xiumei LIU Jun ZHENG Xuelian ZHAO Shijun WANG Haijun ZHAO 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2023,24,7:1
17Microscopic phase-field simulation of L1_2 and D0_(22) phases during the early precipitation process of Ni-Cr-Al alloys显示文摘The influence of temperature on the precipitation mechanism and sequence of L12 and D022 phases during the early pre-cipitation process of a Ni-15.5at%Cr-14at%Al alloy was simulated based on the microscopic phase-field model. In the range from 873 to 1373 K,the precipitation mechanism transformed from spinodal decomposition to non-classic nucleation and growth; the in-cubation period prolonged gradually with increasing temperature. The volume fraction of L12 phases increased and that of D022 phases decreased. 18First-principles study on the mechanical,thermal properties and hydrogen behavior of ternary V-Ni-M alloys显示文摘Studying hydrogen behavior in alloys and the mechanical properties of alloys are essential to various practical uses,such as separation membranes,as well as hydrogen embrittlement protection.In order to further develop the non-Pd-alloy membranes used in hydrogen separation,the mechanical,thermal properties of V_(14)NiM(M=Al,Fe,Si,Ti,Zn)and hydrogen solubility and diffusion behaviors of V-based ternary alloys were studied by first principles calculation.The results indicated that the hydrogen solution energies of V-Ni-M are greater than pure vanadium.And the mono-vacancy in pure vanadium can capture 6 H atoms while the V-Ni-M alloys can only capture 5 H atoms.Therefore,the V-Ni-M alloys exhibit lower solubility of hydrogen and higher brittleness resistance to embrittlement compared with pure vanadium.And the diffusion coefficients of V-Ni-M alloys are smaller than that of pure vanadium thanks to smaller hydrogen solubility.The hydrogen solubility and hydrogen permeability can maintain relatively balanced.The study of mechanical properties suggests that the V-Ni-Ti has the best resistance to deformation and pure vanadium has the best ductility.Moreover,V-Ni-Si alloy has the smallest thermal expansion coefficient in the temperature range of 473-723 K,which is the temperature of hydrogen separation,indicating that V-Ni-Si is the best for hydrogen separation according to thermal properties.Yanli Lu Yi Wang Yifan Wang Meng Gao Yao Chen Zheng Chen 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,11:1

20Simple Vanilla Derivatives for Long-Lived Room-Temperature Polymer Phosphorescence as Invisible Security Inks显示文摘Developing novel long-lived room-temperature polymer phosphorescence(RTPP)materials could significantly expand their application scope.Herein,a series of RTPP materials based on eight simple vanilla derivatives for security ink application are reported.Attributed to strong mutual hydrogen bonding with polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)matrix,vanilla-doped PVA films exhibit ultralong phosphorescence emission under ambient conditions observed by naked eyes,where methyl vanillate shows the longest emission time up to 7 s.Impressively,when vanilla-doped PVA materials are utilized as invisible security inks,and the inks not only present excellent luminescent emission stability under ambient conditions but also maintain perfect reversibility between room temperature and 65℃ for multiple cycles.Owing to the unique RTPP performance,an advanced anticounterfeiting data encoding/reading strategy based on handwriting technology and complex pattern steganography is developed.Yongfeng Zhang Zhonghao Wang Yan Su Yan Zheng Wenji Tang Chaolong Yang Hailong Tang Lunjun Qu Youbing Li Yanli Zhao 2021Research2021,,1:1
