1Channel Estimation and Throughput Evaluation for 5G Wireless Communication Systems in Various Scenarios on High Speed Railways显示文摘The fifth generation(5 G) wireless communication is currently a hot research topic and wireless communication systems on high speed railways(HSR) are important applications of 5 G technologies. Existing studies about 5 G wireless systems on high speed railways(HSR) often utilize ideal channel parameters and are usually based on simple scenarios. In this paper, we evaluate the downlink throughput of 5 G HSR communication systems on three typical scenarios including urban, cutting and viaduct with three different channel estimators. The channel parameters of each scenario are generated with tapped delay line(TDL) models through ray-tracing simulations, which can be considered as a good match to practical situations. The channel estimators including least square(LS), linear minimum mean square error(LMMSE), and our proposed historical information based basis expansion model(Hi BEM). We analyze the performance of the Hi BEM estimator in terms of mean square error(MSE) and evaluate the system throughputs with different channel estimates over each scenario. Simulation results are then provided to corroborate our proposed studies. 2AoA-Based Channel Estimation for Massive MIMO OFDM Communication Systems on High Speed Rails显示文摘Channel estimation is a well-known challenge for wireless orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)communication systems with massive antennas on high speed rails(HSRs).This paper investigates this problem and design two practicable uplink and downlink channel estimators for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)communication systems with massive antenna arrays at base station on HSRs.Specifically,we first use pilots to estimate the initial angle of arrival(AoA)and channel gain information of each uplink path through discrete Fourier transform(DFT),and then refine the estimates via the angle rotation technique and suggested pilot design.Based on the uplink angel estimation,we design a new downlink channel estimator for frequency division duplexing(FDD)systems.Additionally,we derive the Cramér-Rao lower bounds(CRLBs)of the AoA and channel gain estimates.Finally,numerical results are provided to corroborate our proposed studies.Yanrong Zhao Wenjing Zhao Gongpu Wang Bo Ai Hervin Hidayat Putra Bagus Juliyanto 2020China Communications2020,17,3:6
3Protective effect of oxysophoridine on cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in mice显示文摘Oxysophoridine, a new alkaloid extracted from Sophora alopecuroides L., has been shown to have a protective effect against ischemic brain damage. In this study, a focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury model was established using middle cerebral artery occlusion in mice. Both 62.5, 125, and 250 mg/kg oxysophoridine, via intraperitoneal injection, and 6 mg/kg nimodipine, via intragastric administration, were administered daily for 7 days before modeling. After 24 hours of reperfusion, mice were tested for neurological deficit, cerebral infarct size was assessed and brain tissue was collected. Results showed that oxysophoridine at 125, 250 mg/kg and 6 mg/kg nimodipine could reduce neurological deficit scores, cerebral infarct size and brain water content in mice. These results provided evidence that oxysophoridine plays a protective role in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. In addition, oxysophoridine at 62.5, 125, and 250 mg/kg and 6 mg/kg nimodipine increased adenosine-triphosphate content, and decreased malondialdehyde and nitric oxide content. These compounds enhanced the activities of glutathione-peroxidase, superoxide dismutase, catalase, and lactate dehydrogenase, and decreased the activity of nitric oxide synthase. Protein and mRNA expression levels of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor subunit NR1 were markedly inhibited in the presence of 250 mg/kg oxysophoridine and 6 mg/kg nimodipine. 4Gene characterization and molecular pathway analysis of reverse thermosensitive genic male sterility in eggplant(Solanum melongena L.)显示文摘The naturally occurring mutant eggplant line 05ms was identified with reverse thermosensitive genic male sterility(rTGMS),but its temperature-responsive fertility mechanisms remain largely unknown.Here,we studied the flower morphology,anther cellular structure,and genome-wide gene expression of this rTGMS line.Candidate genes for thermosensitive male sterility during the microspore development of 05ms and the temperature-insensitive line S63 under low-temperature(LT)and high-temperature(HT)conditions were identified.Under LT,tapetum cells were vacuolated and had delayed disintegration in 05ms.RNA-seq analysis indicated that DEGs were enriched in the KEGG pathways‘plant hormone signal transduction’,‘starch and sucrose metabolism’,and‘phenylpropanoid biosynthesis’.We identified two genes,4CLL1(Sme2.5_00368.1_g00010.1)and CKI1(Sme2.5_10056.1_g00002.1),which could potentially regulate eggplant anther development and may be candidate genes for rTGMS.Finally,we propose a working model of anther abortion for rTGMS in eggplant.CKI1 responds to LT stress and causes expression changes in genes related to anther development,such as 4CLL1,and the cellular structure of the tapetum becomes abnormal,causing male sterility.The findings of this study explain the underlying molecular mechanisms of male sterility in eggplant rTGMS lines.Bing Li Xueping Chen Yanrong Wu Aixia Gu Jingjing Zhang Shuangxia Luo Xiurui Gao Jianjun Zhao Xiuqing Pan Shuxing Shen 2019Horticulture Research2019,6,1:5
5Identification of marine natural gases with different origin sources显示文摘Kinetic experiments of gas generation for typical samples of marine gas precursors including low-maturity kerogen,residual kerogen and oil as well as dispersed liquid hydrocarbon(DLH)in source rocks were performed by closed system,and the evolution trends of molecular and isotopic compositions of natural gases from different precursors against the maturity(R0%)at laboratory conditions were analyzed.Several diagrams of gas origin were calibrated by using the experimental data.A diagram based on the ratio of normal and isomerous butane and pentane(i/nC4-i/nC5)was proposed and used to identify the origins of the typical marine natural gases in the Sichuan Basin and the Tarim Basin, China.And the maturities of natural gases were estimated by using the statistical relationships between the gaseous molecular carbon isotopic data and maturities(δ13C-R 0 %)with different origins.The results indicate that the molecular and isotopic compositions of simulated gases from different precursors are different from each other.For example,the dryness index of the oil-cracking gas is the lowest;the dryness indices of gases from DLH and kerogen in closed system are almost the same;and the dryness index of gases from residual kerogen is extremely high,indicating that the kerogen gases are very dry;the contents of non-hydrocarbon gases in kerogen-cracking gases are far higher than those in oil-cracking and DLH-cracking gases.The molecular carbon isotopes of oil-cracking gases are the lightest,those of kerogen in closed system and GLH-cracking gases are the second lightest,and those of cracking gases from residual kerogen are the heaviest.The calibration results indicate that the diagrams of ln(C1/C2)-ln(C2/C3)andδ13C2-δ13C3-ln(C2/C3)can discriminate primary and secondary cracking gases,but cannot be used to identify gas origin sources,while the diagram of i/nC4-i/nC5 can differentiate the gases from different precursors.The application results of these diagrams show that gas mixtures extensively exist in China,which involved the gases from multiple precursors and those from different maturity stages.For example,marine gases in the Sichuan Basin involve the mixture of oil-cracking gases and high-over-maturated kerogen gases,while those in the Tarim Basin involve not only the mixture of gases from multiple precursors,but also those from different maturity gases and post-reservoir alternations such as oxidized degradation and gas intrusion processes.WANG YunPeng 1 ,ZHAO ChangYi 2 ,WANG ZhaoYun 2 ,WANG HongJun 2 ,TIAN Jin 1 ,ZOU YanRong 1 &LIU JinZhong1 1State Key Laboratory of Organic Geochemistry,Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Guangzhou 510640,China 2Institute of Geology,Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development,PetroChina,Beijing 100083,China 2008Science China Earth Sciences2008,51,S1:4
6Sand-fixing characteristics of Carex brunnescens and its application with straw checkerboard technique in restoration of degraded alpine meadows显示文摘Carex brunnescens(Pers.), a typical clonal species, is considered to be the only herb found to date that can develop on sand dunes in Maqu alpine region of northwestern China. However, the characteristics that C. brunnescens resists to harsh alpine environment have not been documented. In this study, we conducted a field investigation to determine the morphological, reproductive, and sand-fixing characteristics of C. brunnescens. Concomitantly, we transplanted the belowground rhizomes of C. brunnescens to sand dunes and compared the abilities to restore degraded alpine meadows among sand dunes that had no further treatment(SD+N), sand dunes that had straw checkerboard technique but no transplanted rhizomes of C. brunnescens(SD+SCT), and sand dunes that had both SCT and transplanted rhizomes of C. brunnescens(SD+SCT+P). We found that belowground vertical rhizomes and horizontal rhizomes(including branching rhizomes and main rhizomes) of C. brunnescens were highly developed and that population reproduction was dominated by horizontal rhizomes. C. brunnescens exhibited a significant sand-fixation effect under following conditions: population density was 145–156 ramets/m^2, vegetation cover was 31.2%–39.3%, total length of belowground rhizomes was 11,223 cm/m^2, total length of belowground first-order roots was 9161–10,524 cm/m^2, fresh weight of aboveground part was 198.5–212.6 g/m^2, and fresh weight of belowground part was 578.8–612.4 g/m^2. It should be particularly noted that SD+SCT+P treatment(sand dunes that had both straw checkerboard technique and transplanted rhizomes of C. brunnescens) was the best and SD+N(sand dunes that had no further treatment) was the worst in terms of following biotic indicators: total number of reproductive ramets, total number of belowground rhizomes, and fresh weight of aboveground and belowground parts of C. brunnescens, contents of soil organic carbon, available nitrogen, microbial biomass carbon, and microbial biomass nitrogen. It implies that applying SCT in sand dunes and transplanting belowground rhizomes to sand dunes with SCT could improve both soil fertility and growth of C. brunnescens. 8An animal model of cerebral palsy induced by prenatal exposure to lipopolysaccharide and hypoxia显示文摘BACKGROUND:Neonatal cerebral palsy is mainly caused by prenatal factors.At present, an animal model of prenatal infection and early postnatal hypoxia does not exist.OBJECTIVE:To observe morphology and motor performance following prenatal infection and hypoxic insult-induced brain damage of neonatal rats to verify the feasibility to establish a model of cerebral palsy.DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING:A randomized, controlled, animal experiment was performed at the Laboratories of Xinjiang Center for Disease Control and Prevention from September 2007 to June 2008.MATERIALS:The hypoxic incubator was purchased from Shanghai Pediatric Medical Institute, China.Lipopolysaccharide (LPS, Escherichia coli, O55:B5) was purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St.Louis, MO, USA).METHODS:A total of 27 Wistar rats, aged 7 days, were randomly assigned to sham-surgery group (n=15) with no carotid artery incision or hypoxia treatment, hypoxia/ischemia (H/I) group (n=12) undergoing ligature of the right common carotid artery followed by exposure to hypoxia at postnatal day 7 (P7), and LPS/H group (n=19), in which pregnant rats were exposed in utero to LPS followed by prenatal hypoxia at embryonic day 16.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Behavior, compound muscle action potential, and pathological changes were observed in 28-day-old rats.RESULTS:The footprint repeat space showed that left limb footprint repeatability in the H/I and LPS/H groups was lower than in the sham-surgery group (P<0.05).The space between the footprints was larger and unstable.Hind limb quadricep compound muscle action potential in the H/I and LPS/H groups showed lower wave amplitude compared with the sham-surgery group (P<0.05).Hematoxylin and eosin staining showed irregular cells around the ventricle, as well as periventricular leukomalacia.CONCLUSION:An animal model of cerebral palsy was established, which simulated the human condition most likely associated with occurrence of this disease.This model could be used for experimental studies related to cerebral palsy.Gang Chen Yanrong HU Wei Liu Jiang Li Linbao Wen Jianxin Li Lihui Zhao Xiaopeng Yang Yi Zhu Zhenzhu Sun Guangming Chi 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,14:4

10High-performance Li-ion capacitor based on black-TiO2-x/graphene aerogel anode and biomass-derived microporous carbon cathode显示文摘Lithium-ion capacitor (LIC) has been regarded as a promising energy storage system with high powder density and high energy density.However,the kinetic mismatch between the anode and the cathode is a major issue to be solved.Here we report a high-performance asymmetric LIC based on oxygen-deficient black-TiO2-x/graphene (B-TiO2-x/G) aerogel anode and biomass derived microporous carbon cathode.Through a facile one-pot hydrothermal process,graphene nanosheets and oxygen-vacancy-rich porous B-TiO2-x/G nanosheets were self-assembled into three-dimensional (3D) interconnected B-TiO2-x/G aerogel.Owing to the rich active sites,high conductivity and fast kinetics,the B-TiO2-x/G aerogel exhibits remarkable reversible capacity,high rate capability and long cycle life when used as anode material for lithium ion storage.Moreover,density functional theory (DFT) calculation reveals that the incorporation of graphene nanosheets can reduce the energy barrier of Li^+ diffusion in B-TiO2-x.The asymmetric LIC based on B-TiO2-x/G aerogel anode and naturally-abundant pine-needles derived microporous carbon (MPC) cathode work well within a large voltage window (1.0-4.0 V),and can deliver high energy density (166.4 Wh·kg^-1 at 200 mA·g^-1),and high power density (7.9 kW·kg^-1 at 17.1 Wh·kg^-1).Moreover,the LIC shows a high capacitance retention of 87% after 3,000cycles at 2,000 mA·g^-1.The outstanding electrochemical performances indicate that the rationally-designed LICs have promising prospect to serve as advanced fast-charging energy storage devices.Guoyin Zhu Lianbo Ma Huinan Lin Peiyang Zhao Lei Wang Yi Hu Renpeng Chen Tao Chen Yanrong Wang Zuoxiu Tie Zhong Jin 2019Nano Research2019,12,7:2

12Fluorescence enhancement of Tb^(3+) complexes by adding silica-coated silver nanoparticles显示文摘Six kinds of terbium ternary complexes with halo-benzoic acids were synthesized. Their compositions were determined by C, H elemental analyzer and EDTA titration. The infrared spectra, ultraviolet absorption spectra, and fluorescence spectra were also measured to identify the complexes. Elemental analysis showed that the compositions of these complexes were Tb(p-Br BA)3?H2O, Tb(p-Cl BA)3?2H2O, Tb(p-FBA)3?H2O, Tb(o-FBA)3?2H2O, Tb(o-Cl BA)3?H2O, and Tb(o-Br BA)3?H2O, respectively. The monodispersed Ag@Si O2 core-shell nanoparticles with silica thicknesses of 10, 15, and 25 nm were successfully prepared and characterized by transmission-electron microscopy. Fluorescence intensities of the complexes were detected before and after Ag@Si O2 core-shell nanoparticles were added; the enhancement times were related to the silica-shell thickness. The fluorescence enhancement times were largest when the thickness of the silica shell was 25 nm. The mechanism may be attributed to the localized surface-plasmon resonance. Furthermore, the enhancement effect of terbium fluoro-benzoate complexes was the strongest in these complexes. 13Three-dimensional spongy framework as superlyophilic, strongly absorbing,and electrocatalytic polysulfide reservoir layer for high-rate and long-cycling lithiumsulfur batteries显示文摘In the development of lithium-sulfur (Li-S)batteries,various approaches have been adopted to enhance the electronic conductivity of the sulfur cathode and alleviate the shuttle effect of polysulfides;however,the strategies providing efficient solutions are still limited.To further improve the electrochemical performance of Li-S batteries,in this work we propose a new strategy involving the incorporation of a three-dimensional functional spongy framework as polysulfide reservoir layer,with strong absorbability and electrocatalytic activity towards sulfur species.The spongy framework has a hierarchical architecture composed of highly conductive Ni foam/graphene/carbon nanotubes/MnO2nanoflakes (NGCM).The strongly interconnected Ni foam,graphene,and carbon nanotubes of the NGCM sponge facilitate electron transfer during discharge/charge processes;moreover,the superlyophilic properties of the NGCM sponge ensure good wettability and interface contact with the Li-S electrolyte,and the porous MnO2nanoflakes provide strong chemisorptive and electrocatalytic effects on polysulfides (as confirmed theoretically and experimentally).The NGCM sponge, serving as a polysulfide reservoir layer attached on a conventional sulfur-mixed carbon nanotubes (S/CNTs)cathode,can provide improved reversible capacity, rate capability (593mAh·g^-1at 3.0C),and cycling stability.In addition,the self-discharge rate is greatly reduced,owing to the efficient conservation of polysulfides in the NGCM spongy framework.Lianbo Ma Guoyin Zhu Wenjun Zhang Peiyang Zhao Yi Hu Yanrong Wang Lei Wang Renpeng Chen Tao Chen Zuoxiu Tie Jie Liu Zhong Jin 2018Nano Research2018,11,12:2
14Utilization of Bayer Red Mud Derived from Bauxite for Belite-Ferroaluminate Cement Production显示文摘Bayer red mud(BRM)is a kind of industrial solid waste characterized by huge volume and high alkalinity.Its disposal generates serious environmental pollution and occupies a large number of farmland.The utilization and recycling of BRM is currently a crucial issue and needs to be addressed as soon as possible.The chemical composition of BRM is similar to cement clinker.In this study,the feasibility of preparing Belite-ferroaluminate clinker(BFAC)with different BRM was explored.The physical properties,mechanics performance,radioactivity levels and trace harmful metals leaching were measured.XRD,BEI and EDS were used to characterize the mineral formation,and SEM is used to reveal the solidified mechanism of trace harmful metal.The results show that the preparation of BFAC using a certain amount of BRM was feasible.The formed phases in clinkers mainly included C_(4)A_(3)Š,C_(2)S and C_(4)AF.The flexural strength and compressive strength of BFAC at 3 days increased whereas 28 and 90 days decreased with the increase of BRM due to the formation of higher C_(4)AF and lower C_(2)S.The formation of large amounts of Al_(2)O_(3)·3H_(2)O gel and Fe_(2)O_(3)·3H_(2)O gel in hydration products enhanced the adsorption capability to heavy metals and other ions.The trace harmful metal concentration in the leaching solution was much less than the upper limits.The radioactivity level of leaching solution was close to natural radioactive background.BRM is safe as raw material of BFAC.Yanrong Zhao Ping Chen Shifeng Wang Yaxiong Ji Yuanhao Wang Bolin Wu Rongjin Liu 2020Journal of Renewable Materials2020,8,11:2

16Emerging phagocytosis checkpoints in cancer immunotherapy显示文摘Cancer immunotherapy,mainly including immune checkpoints-targeted therapy and the adoptive transfer of engineered immune cells,has revolutionized the oncology landscape as it utilizes patients’own immune systems in combating the cancer cells.Cancer cells escape immune surveillance by hijacking the corresponding inhibitory pathways via overexpressing checkpoint genes.Phagocytosis checkpoints,such as CD47,CD24,MHC-I,PD-L1,STC-1 and GD2,have emerged as essential checkpoints for cancer immunotherapy by functioning as“don’t eat me”signals or interacting with“eat me”signals to suppress immune responses.Phagocytosis checkpoints link innate immunity and adaptive immunity in cancer immunotherapy.Genetic ablation of these phagocytosis checkpoints,as well as blockade of their signaling pathways,robustly augments phagocytosis and reduces tumor size.Among all phagocytosis checkpoints,CD47 is the most thoroughly studied and has emerged as a rising star among targets for cancer treatment.CD47-targeting antibodies and inhibitors have been investigated in various preclinical and clinical trials.However,anemia and thrombocytopenia appear to be formidable challenges since CD47 is ubiquitously expressed on erythrocytes.Here,we review the reported phagocytosis checkpoints by discussing their mechanisms and functions in cancer immunotherapy,highlight clinical progress in targeting these checkpoints and discuss challenges and potential solutions to smooth the way for combination immunotherapeutic strategies that involve both innate and adaptive immune responses.Yu’e Liu Yanjin Wang Yanrong Yang Linjun Weng Qi Wu Jin Zhang Pengcheng Zhao Lan Fang Yufeng Shi Ping Wang 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4:1
17Approaching high-performance lithium storage materials by constructing Li_(2)ZnTi_(3)O_(8)@LiAlO_(2) composites显示文摘The Li_(2)ZnTi_(3)O_(8)@Li AlO_(2)was synthesized by a facile high-temperature solid-state route.The LiAlO_(2)modification does not alter the morphology and particle size of Li_(2)Zn Ti_(3)O_(8)(LZTO).The LiAlO_(2)modification improves the structure stability,intercalation/deintercalation reversibility of lithium-ions,and electrochemical reaction activity of Li_(2)Zn Ti_(3)O_(8),and promotes the transfer of lithium ions.Benefited from the unique component,Li_(2)Zn Ti_(3)O_(8)@Li AlO_(2)(8wt%) shows a good rate performance with charge capacities of 203.9,194.8,187.4,180.6,and177.1 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.5,1,2,3,and 5 C,respectively.Nevertheless,pure LZTO only delivers charge capacities of 134.5,109.7,89.4,79.9,and 72.9 mAh·g^(-1)at the corresponding rates.Even at large charge–discharge rate,the Li_(2)Zn Ti_(3)O_(8)@Li AlO_(2)(8wt%) composite indicates a good cycle performance with a high reversible charge/discharge capacity of 263.5/265.8 mAh·g^(-1)at 5 C after 150 cycles.The introduction of LiAlO_(2)on the surface of Li_(2)Zn Ti_(3)O_(8)enhances electronic conductivity of the composite,resulting in the good electrochemical performance of Li_(2)Zn Ti_(3)O_(8)@Li AlO_(2)composite.Li_(2)Zn Ti_(3)O_(8)@LiAlO_(2)(8wt%) composite shows a good potential as an anode material for the next generation of high-performance Li-ion batteries.Jinpeng Qu Yushen Zhao Yurui Ji Yanrong Zhu Tingfeng Yi 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,4:1

20A rat pup model of cerebral palsy induced by prenatal inflammation and hypoxia显示文摘Animal models of cerebral palsy established by simple infection or the hypoxia/ischemia method cannot effectively simulate the brain injury of a premature infant. Healthy 17-day-pregnant Wistar rats were intraperitoneally injected with lipopolysaccharide then subjected to hypoxia. The pups were used for this study at 4 weeks of age. Simultaneously, a hypoxia/ischemia group and a control group were used for comparison. The results of the footprint test, the balance beam test, the water maze test, neuroelectrophysiological examination and neuropathological examination demonstrated that, at 4 weeks after birth, footprint repeat space became larger between the forelimbs and hindlimbs of the rats, the latency period on the balance beam and in the Morris water maze was longer, place navigation and ability were poorer, and the stimulus intensity that induced the maximal wave amplitude of the compound muscle action potential was greater in the lipopolysaccharide/hypoxia and hypoxia/ischemia groups than in the control group. We observed irregular cells around the periventricular area, periventricular leukomalacia and breakage of the nuclear membrane in the lipopolysaccharide/hypoxia and hypoxia/ischemia groups.
