2TaSCL14,a Novel Wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)GRAS Gene,Regulates Plant Growth,Photosynthesis,Tolerance to Photooxidative Stress,and Senescence显示文摘Rates of photosynthesis,tolerance to photooxidative stress,and senescence are all important physiological factors that affect plant development and thus agricultural productivity.GRAS proteins play essential roles in plant growth and development as well as in plant responses to biotic and abiotic stresses.So far few GRAS genes in wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)have been characterized.A previous transcriptome analysis indicated that the expression of a GRAS gene(TaSCL14) was induced by high-light stress in Xiaoyan 54(XY54),a common wheat cultivar with strong tolerance to high-light stress.In this study,TaSCL14 gene was isolated from XY54 and mapped on chromosome 4A.TaSCL14 was expressed in various wheat organs,with high levels in stems and roots.Our results confirmed that TaSCL14 expression was indeed responsive to high-light stress.Barley stripe mosaic virus(BSMV)-based virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)of TaSCL14 in wheat was performed to help characterize its potential functions.Silencing of TaSCL14 resulted in inhibited plant growth,decreased photosynthetic capacity,and reduced tolerance to photooxidative stress.In addition,silencing of TaSCL14 in wheat promoted leaf senescence induced by darkness.These results suggest that TaSCL14 may act as a multifunctional regulator involved in plant growth,photosynthesis,tolerance to photooxidative stress,and senescence.Kunmei Chen Hongwei Li Yaofeng Chen Qi Zheng Bin Li Zhensheng Li 2015Journal of Genetics and Genomics2015,42,1:11
3Application of biochar-based materials in environmental remediation:from multi-level structures to specific devices显示文摘The development of biochar has triggered a hot-spot in various research fields including agriculture,energy,environment,and materials.Biochar-based materials provide a novel approach against environmental challenging issues.Considering the rapid development of biochar materials,this review serves as a valuable platform to summarize the recent progress on the theoretical investigation and engineering applications of biochar materials in environmental remediation.For a better understanding of the structure-application relationships,the structural properties of biochar from macroscopic and microscopic aspects are summarized.The multilevel structures including elements,phases,surface chemistry,and molecular are highlighted to elucidate the multi-functional properties of biochars.Sorption,catalysis,redox reaction,and biological activity of biochar are briefly illustrated,which influence the transport,transformation,and removal of organic and inorganic pollutants in the environments.According to the multi-level structures and structure-application relationships of biochar,specific biochar-based materials and devices have been designed for practical environmental application.The important progress on the functionalization and device of biochar-based materials,including magnetic biochars,2D and 3D biochar-based macrostructures,immobilized microorganism on biochar,and biochar-amended biofilters are highlighted.The environmental friendliness and sustainability of biochar-based materials,considering the whole cycle from synthesis to application,are evaluated.Lun Lu Wentao Yu Yaofeng Wang Kun Zhang Xiaomin Zhu Yuecan Zhang Yajing Wu Habib Ullah Xin Xiao Baoliang Chen 2020Biochar2020,2,1:11

5Robust model predictive control for greenhouse temperature based on particle swarm optimization显示文摘Application of model predictive control(MPC)in horticultural practice requires detailed models.However,even highly sophisticated greenhouse climate models are often known to have unknown dynamics affected by bounded uncertainties.To enforce robustness during the controller design stage,this paper proposes a particle swarm optimization(PSO)-based robust MPC strategy for greenhouse temperature systems.The strategy is based on a nonlinear physical temperature affine model.The robust MPC technique requires online solution of a minimax optimal control problem,which optimizes the tradeoff between set point tracking and cost requirements reduction.The minimax optimization problem is reformulated to a nonlinear programming problem with constraints.PSO is used to solve the reformulated problem and priority ranking of constraint fitness is proposed to guarantee that the constraints are satisfied.The results of simulations performed using the proposed control system show that the controller can effectively achieve the set point in the presence of disturbances and that it offers more suitable control variables,higher control precision,and stronger robustness than the conventional MPC.Lijun Chen Shangfeng Du Yaofeng He Meihui Liang Dan Xu 2018Information Processing in Agriculture2018,5,3:4

20Construct a 3D microsphere of HMX/B/Al/PTFE to obtain the high energy and combustion reactivity显示文摘Metal(aluminum and boron)based energetic materials have been wildly applied in various fields including aerospace,explosives and micro-devices due to their high energy density.Unfortunately,the low combustion efficiency and reactivity of metal fuels,especially boron(B),severely limit their practical applications.Herein,multi-component 3D microspheres of HMX/B/Al/PTFE(HBA)have been designed and successfully prepared by emulsion and solvent evaporation method to achieve superior energy and combustion reactivity.The reactivity and energy output of HBA are systematically measured by ignitionburning test,constant-volume explosion vessel system and bomb calorimetry.Due to the increased interfacial contact and reaction area,HBA shows higher flame propagation rate,faster pressurization rate and larger combustion heat of 29.95 cm/s,1077 kPa/s,and 6164.43 J/g,which is 1.5 times,3.5 times,and 1.03 times of the physical mixed counterpart(HBA-P).Meanwhile,HBA also shows enhanced energy output and reactivity than 3D microspheres of HMX/B/PTFE(HB)resulting from the high reactivity of Al.The reaction mechanism of 3D microspheres is comprehensively investigated through combustion emission spectral and thermal analysis(TG-DSC-MS).The superior reactivity and energy of HBA originate from the surface etching of fluorine to the inert shell(Al_(2)O_(3) and B_(2)O_(3))and the initiation effect of Al to B.This work offers a promising approach to design and prepare high-performance energetic materials for the practical applications.Jian Wang Jie Chen Yaofeng Mao Yongjun Deng Wei Cao Fude Nie Jun Wang 2024Defence Technology(防务技术)2024,32,2:0
