1GSDME enhances Cisplatin sensitivity to regress non-small cell lung carcinoma by mediating pyroptosis to trigger antitumor immunocyte infiltration显示文摘Dear Editor,Non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)is the most common type of lung cancers.Since the majority of NSCLC patients are diagnosed at the advanced stage with a dramatic impact on the prognosis,chemotherapy is still the mainstay of treatment.Cisplatin(CDDP)remains one of the most widely used first-line drugs in the therapy of NSCLC,based on the clinical data that the poor outcomes of untreated NSCLC patients(5%overall survival at 1 year)have shown improvements in natural history of disease after CDDPbased chemotherapy(15%overall survival at 1 year).1 Nevertheless,Cisplatin has strong toxic side effects and many NSCLC patients treated with CDDP are easy to occur drug insensitivity,near-to-invariably leading to relapse and therapeutic failure.Therefore,finding novel target molecules which can regulate CDDP innate sensitivity is vital to improve clinical efficacy.For decades,a long-held consensus is that caspases-3-induced apoptosis is the major pattern for antitumor role of CDDP.The CDDP can promote cancer cell elimination via rewiring proproliferative signaling to pro-apoptotic pathway.However,apoptosis resistance readily occurs after CDDP treatment and it is of great significance to explore whether other types of programmed cell death can effectively heighten innate CDDP sensitivity.Zhouyangfan Peng Pengfei Wang Wei Song Qingmei Yao Yinjia Li Linglong Liu Yapei Li Sufang Zhou 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:7
2Efficient improvement of 2.7 μm luminescence of Er^(3+):oxyfluoride glass containing gallium by Yb^(3+) ions codoping显示文摘Mid-infrared laser materials with low phonon energy have significant applications. However, the development of available glass systems for high-power laser gain medium have posed a great challenge.Therefore, we investigated the 2.7 μm spectroscopic properties of Er^(3+)/Yb^(3+) -codoped oxyfluoride glass containing gallium, which were prepared by typically melting and quenching methods. The 2.7 μm luminescence properties of the Er^(3+)/Yb^(3+)-codoped oxyfluoride glass containing gallium were recorded by a 980 nm laser diode. The Judde Ofelt parameters, decay curves, emission cross section, energy transfer efficiency and quantum efficiency were calculated. The maximum emission cross section of YbFGa-0.5 is 1.63 × 10^(-20) cm^2 by 980 nm excitation. The energy transfer efficiency is calculated to be77.8% for the YbFGa-0.5 glass around 2700 nm. The quantum efficiency at 1530 nm is 65.6%. 3Supramolecular Polymer Emulsifiers for One-step Complex Emulsions显示文摘Complex emulsions, such as double emulsions and high-internal-phase emulsions, have shown great applications in the fields of drug delivery, sensing, catalysis, oil-water separation and self-healing materials. Their controllable preparation is at the forefront of interface and material science. Surfactants and polymers have been widely used as emulsifiers for building complex emulsions. Yet some inherent disadvantages exist including multi-step emulsifications and low production efficiency. Alternatively, supramolecular polymer emulsifier for complex emulsions via one-step emulsification is rising as a new strategy due to the ease of preparation. In this feature article, we review our recent progresses in using supramolecular polymer emulsifiers for the preparation of complex emulsions. Double emulsions and high-internal-phase emulsions are successfully prepared via one-step emulsification with the help of different supramolecular interactions including electrostatic, hydrogen bond, coordination interaction and dynamic covalent bond, which will be particularly emphasized in detail. In the end, a comprehensive prospect is given for the future development of this field. 5Dendritic tellurides acting as antioxidants显示文摘We have described the synthesis of a series of poly(aryl ether) dendrimers with telluride in the core and oligo(ethylene oxide) chains at the pe- riphery which act as glutathione peroxidase (GPx) mimics. These series of compounds were well characterized by H-NMR, 1 13C-NMR and ESI-MS. Using different ROOH (H2O2, cumene hydroperoxide) for testing the antioxidizing properties of these com- pounds, we have found that from generation 0 to 2, the activity of the dendritic GPx mimics first de- creased and then increased. This can be explained on the basis of a greater steric hindrance, going from generation 0 to 1, and stronger binding interactions going from generation 1 to 2. 10Chemical transformations of n-hexane and cyclohexane under the upper mantle conditions显示文摘Alkanes are an important part of petroleum,the stability of alkanes under extreme conditions is of great significance to explore the origin of petroleum and the carbon cycle in the deep Earth.Here,we performed Raman and infrared(IR)spectroscopy studies of n-hexane and cyclohexane under high pressure up to~42 GPa at room temperature(RT)and high temperature(HT).n-Hexane and cyclohexane undergo several phase transitions at RT around 1.8,8.5,18 GPa and 1.1,2.1,4.6,13,30 GPa,respectively,without any chemical reaction.By using resistive heating combined with diamond anvil cell at pressure up to 20 GPa and temperature up to 1000 K,both n-hexane and cyclohexane decompose to hydrogenated graphitic carbon and n-hexane exhibits higher stability than cyclohexane.Our results indicate that hydrocarbons tend to dehydrogenate in the upper mantle,and the extension of carbon chains may lead to the formation of some unsaturated compounds and eventually transfer into graphitic products.Xin Yang Yapei Li Yajie Wang Haiyan Zheng Kuo Li Ho-kwang Mao 2021Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,2:1

12Sunlight-controlled CO_(2) separation resulting from a biomass-based CO_(2) absorber显示文摘Renewable solid sorbents for CO_(2) capture and storage have shown great potentials for the sake of gaseous separation,tail gas treatment,environmental regulation and climate governance.However,current existed preparation and reusability of solid sorbents are generally subject to high energy consumption and complicated procedure.Herein,a light-controlled CO_(2) separation system with high working temperature resulting from natural sawdust combined with polyethyleneimine is fabricated,which involves low energy input and few operating sequences.This system shows a direct and ratiometric response to sunlight illumination by which CO_(2) can be reversibly adsorbed and released.This light-controlled CO_(2) separation process is prospective to become an attractive alternative to traditional alkaline CO_(2) collection method in terms of its convenience and low cost.As a practical demonstration,CO_(2) mixed with N_(2) is successfully separated through this light-controlled carbon capture and storage(CCS) system,which offers great promise for CO_(2) capture and enrichment with applicability across a wide range of scales.Shiming Zhang Qianhao Pan Yapei Wang 2022Green Energy & Environment2022,7,3:1
13Channel measurements and models for high-speed train wireless communication systems in tunnel scenarios: a survey显示文摘The rapid developments of high-speed trains(HSTs) introduce new challenges to HST wireless communication systems. Realistic HST channel models play a critical role in designing and evaluating HST communication systems. Due to the length limitation, bounding of tunnel itself, and waveguide effect, channel characteristics in tunnel scenarios are very different from those in other HST scenarios. Therefore, accurate tunnel channel models considering both large-scale and small-scale fading characteristics are essential for HST communication systems. Moreover, certain characteristics of tunnel channels have not been investigated sufficiently. This article provides a comprehensive review of the measurement campaigns in tunnels and presents some tunnel channel models using various modeling methods. 15Macrophage-targeted single walled carbon nanotubes stimulate phagocytosis via pH-dependent drug release显示文摘Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of mortality in the world.A driving feature of atherosclerotic plaque formation is dysfunctional efferocytosis.Because the“don’t eat me”molecule CD47 is upregulated in atherosclerotic plaque cores,CD47-blocking strategies can stimulate the efferocytic clearance of apoptotic cells and thereby help prevent the progression of plaque buildup.However,these therapies are generally costly and,in clinical and murine trials,they have resulted in side effects including anemia and reticulocytosis.Here,we developed and characterized an intracellular phagocytosis-stimulating treatment in the CD47-SIRPαpathway.We loaded a novel monocyte/macrophage-selective nanoparticle carrier system with a small molecule enzymatic inhibitor that is released in a pH-dependent manner to stimulate macrophage efferocytosis of apoptotic cell debris via the CD47-SIRPαsignaling pathway.We demonstrated that single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWNTs)can selectively deliver tyrosine phosphatase inhibitor 1(TPI)intracellularly to macrophages,which potently stimulates efferocytosis,and chemically characterized the nanocarrier.Thus,SWNT-delivered TPI can stimulate macrophage efferocytosis,with the potential to reduce or prevent atherosclerotic disease.Yapei Zhang Jianqin Ye Niloufar Hosseini-Nassab Alyssa Flores Irina Kalashnikova Sesha Lakshmi Paluri Mozhgan Lotfi Nicholas J.Leeper Bryan Ronain Smith 2021Nano Research2021,14,3:1
16Dynamic chemistry in ionic liquid-based conductor显示文摘Ionic liquids,as a kind of liquid conductors with the unique inherent abilities of rapid self-healing,highly adaptive deformation,reconstruction,as well as high ionic conductivity,have been highly praised and recommended as a new competitive conducting material for green electronics.However,ionic liquids are likely encountered with the leakage problems when they are integrated into electronic devices.This issue as well as the need to develop intelligent electronics stimulate the innovation of ionic liquids with response characters besides conducting performance.Some'innovative'or'functional'ionic liquids consisting dynamic chemical bonds can reversibly switch between different states in response to external stimuli.These specialized ionic liquids afford powerful supplements to minimize the issue of leakage of ionic liquid conductors from electrical circuits,and also exhibit the properties of self-healing,reprocessing,adaptive deformation,which accord with the forthcoming era of Internet of Things.This minireview systematically summarizes the progresses of ionic liquid-based conductors containing dynamic bonds,particularly highlighting their applicable merits in self-healing,stretchable,and recyclable aspects.We also discuss the challenges in the next period and describe an unambiguous future of this research area.Zhiwu Chen Qinyuan Gui Yapei Wang 2021Green Chemical Engineering2021,2,4:1
