Thawing and freezing processes of active layer in Wudaoliang region of Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The interaction between permafrost and atmosphere is accomplished through transfer of heat and moisture in the overlay active layer. Thus, the research on the thermal and hydrodynamics of active layer during the thawing and freezing processes was considered a key to revealing the heat and moisture exchanges between permafrost and atmosphere. The monitoring and research on active layer were conducted because permafrost occupies about two thirds of the total area of the Tibetan Plateau. Based on the analysis of the ground temperature data and soil moisture data of monitoring near the Wudaoliang region of the Tibetan Plateau, the thawing and freezing processes of active layer were divided into four stages, i.e. summer thawing stage (ST), autumn freezing stage (AF), winter cooling stage (WC) and spring warming stage (SW). Coupled heat and water flow is much more complicated in ST and AF, and more amount of water is migrating in these two stages. Heat is transferred mainly via conductive heat flow in theLin Zhao Guodong Cheng Shuxun Li Xinmin Zhao Shaoling Wang 2000Chinese Science Bulletin2000,45,23:31
The Variation of Stone Cell Content in 236 Germplasms of Sand Pear(Pyrus pyrifolia)and Identification of Related Candidate Genes显示文摘Stone cells have been described to substantially influence pear fruit quality,as lignin and cellulose are the main components of stone cells. However, there are limited studies on the relationship between the variation and molecular basis of stone cells, lignin and cellulose content among different pear varieties. Here,to reveal the variation of stone cell content within different cultivated species,we collected 236 germplasms of sand pear(Pyrus pyrifolia)at 50 days after flower blooming(DAFB),the key stage of stone cell formation. In our results,we measured the content of stone cells, lignin and cellulose and found that these contents ranged from2.82%to 29.00%,8.84%to 55.30%and 11.52%to 30.55%,respectively.Further analysis showed that the variation coefficient of stone cell, lignin and cellulose content was 39.10%,28.03%and 16.71%,respectively.Additionally,a significant correlation between stone cell, lignin and cellulose content were detected, and the correlation coefficient between the contents of stone cell and lignin(0.912)was higher than between the contents of stone cell and cellulose(0.796).Moreover,the average lignin content(29.73%)was higher than the average cellulose content(18.03%)in stone cells in pear fruits, indicating that lignin is the main component of stone cell in pears. Finally,on the basic of the transcriptome data,we identified 10 transcription factors belonging to bHLH,ERF,MYB,and NAC transcript families, which might be involved in lignin formation in stone cells.qRT-PCR experiments verified coincident trends between expression of candidate genes and stone cell content. This research laid foundation for future studies on genetic variation of stone cells in pear fruits and provided important gene resources for stone cell regulation.Jiaying Zhang Jiaming Li Cheng Xue Runze Wang Mingyue Zhang Kaijie Qi Jing Fan Hongju Hu Shaoling Zhang Jun Wu 2021Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,2:3
COMBINATORIAL SYNTHESIS OF MANNICH BASES IN SOLUTION/POLYMER REAGENT WORKUP显示文摘This paper describes a combinatorial Synthesis of the Mannich Bases in Solution through the Mannich reaction using 3 ketones, 5 amines and formaldehyde in solution and hydrochloride as a catalyst and then using a macroporous quarterized ammonium resin (CO32- form) as a scavenge agent to remove the acid catalyst when the Mannich reaction is completed. It was found by GC/MS analysis that the symmetrical ketone, such as acetone, in the Mannich reaction mainly produces one Mannich base; while the asymmetrical ketone, such as 2-pentanone, gives two Mannich bases. The reactivity depends on the tereo-hinder of both ketones and amines.HUANG Wenqiang CHENG Shaoling CHEN Yu SUN Weimin HE Binglin Institute of Polymer Chemistry, Nankai University, Tianjin 300071, China 2000Chinese Journal of Reactive Polymers2000,9,2:1

Risk factors for chronic ankle instability after first episode of lateral ankle sprain:A retrospective analysis of 362 cases显示文摘Background:Chronic ankle instability(CAI) is a common sequela following an acute lateral ankle sprain(LAS).To treat an acture LAS more effectively and efficiently,it is important to identify patients at substantial risk for developing CAI.This study identifies magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) manifestations for predicting CAI development after a first episode of LAS and explores appropriate clinical indications for ordering MRI scans for these patients. Methods:All patients with a first-episode LAS who received plain radiograph and MRI scanning within the first 2 weeks after LAS from December 1,2017 to December 1,2019 were identified.Data were collected using the Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool at final follow-up.Demographic and other related clinical variables, including age, sex, body mass index, and treatment were also recorded.Univariable and multivariable analyses were performed successively to identify risk factors for CAI after first-episode LAS.Results:A total 131 out of 362 patients with a mean follow-up of 3.0± 0.6 years(mean ± SD;2.0—4.1 years) developed CAI after first-episode LAS.According to multivariable regression, development of CAI after first-episode LAS was associated with 5 prognostic factors:age(odds ratio(OR)=0.96,95% confidence interval(95%CI):0.93-1.00,p=0.032);body mass index(OR=1.09,95%CI:1.02-1.17,p=0.009);posterior talofibular ligament injury(OR=2.17,95%CI:1.05-4.48,p=0.035);large bone marrow lesion of the talus(OR=2.69,95%CI:1.30-5.58,p=0.008),and Grade 2 effusion of the tibiotalar joint(OR=2.61,95%CI:1.39-4.89,p=0.003).When patients had at least 1 positive clinical finding in the 10-m walk test, anterior drawer test,or inversion tilt test, they had a 90.2% sensitivity and 77.4% specificity in terms of detecting at least 1 prognostic factor by MRI.Conclusion:MRI scanning is valuable in predicting CAI after first-episode LAS for those patients with at least 1 positive clinical finding in the10-m walk test, anterior drawer test, and inversion tilt test.Further prospective and large-scale studies are necessary for validation.Jieyuan Zhang Kai Yang Cheng Wang Wenqi Gu Xueqian Li Shaoling Fu Guoxun Song Jiazheng Wang Chenglin Wu Hongyi Zhu Zhongmin Shi 2023Journal of Sport and Health Science2023,12,5:1
A large-scale proteogenomic atlas of pear显示文摘Pear is an important fruit tree that is widely distributed around the world. The first pear genome map was reported from our laboratory approximately 10 years ago.To further study global protein expression patterns in pear,we generated pear proteome data based on 24 major tissues. The tissue-resolved profiles provided evidence of the expression of 17953 proteins. We identified 4294 new coding events and improved the pear genome annotation via the proteogenomic strategy based on 18090 peptide spectra with peptide spectrum matches>1.Among the eight randomly selected new short coding open reading frames that were expressed in the style, four promoted and one inhibited the growth of pear pollen tubes.Based on gene coexpression module analysis,we explored the key genes associated with important agronomic traits, such as stone cell formation in fruits. The network regulating the synthesis of lignin,a major component of stone cells, was reconstructed, and receptor-like kinases were implicated as core factors in this regulatory network. Moreover,we constructed the online database PearEXP(http://www.peardb.org.cn)to enable access to the pear proteogenomic resources. This study provides a paradigm for in-depth proteogenomic studies of woody plants.Peng Wang Xiao Wu Zebin Shi Shutian Tao Zhe Liu Kaijie Qi Zhihua Xie Xin Qiao Chao Gu Hao Yin Mengyu Cheng Xiaoyu Gu Xueying Liu Chao Tang Peng Cao Shaohang Xu Baojin Zhou Tingting Gui Yangyang Bian Juyou Wu Shaoling Zhang 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,3:0
