| 1 | MiR-122 in hepatic function and liver diseases显示文摘As the most abundant liver-specific microRNA,mi-croRNA-122(miR-122)is involved in various physio-logical processes in hepatic function as well as in liver pathology.There is now compelling evidence that miR-122,as a regulator of gene networks and pathways in hepatocytes,plays a central role in diverse aspects of hepatic function and in the progress of liver diseases.This liver-enriched transcription factors-regulated miRNA promotes differentiation of hepatocytes and regulates lipid metabolism.With regard to liver diseases,miR-122 was shown to stimulate hepatitis C virus(HCV)replication through a unique and unusual interaction with two binding sites in the 5′-UTR of HCV genome to mediate the stability of the viral RNA,whereas inhibit the expression and replication of hepatitis B virus(HBV)by a miR-122-cylin G1/p53-HBV enhancer regulatory pathway.In addition,miR-122 acts as a suppressor of cell prolif-eration and malignant transformation of hepatocytes with remarkable tumor inhibition activity.Notably,a clinical trial targeting miR-122 with the anti-miR-122 oli-gonucleotides miravirsen,the first miRNA targeted drug,has been initiated for treatment of HCV infection.With further understanding of the comprehensive roles of miR-122 in hepatic functions and the mechanisms in-volved in miR-122 down-regulation in chronic hepatitis or hepatocellular carcinoma,miR-122 appears to be a promising candidate for effective therapeutic ap-proaches against tumor and infectious diseases. | Jun Hu Yaxing Xu Junli Hao Saifeng Wang Changfei Li Songdong Meng | 2012 | Protein & Cell2012,3,5: | 22 |

| 4 | Spatial scaling of net primary productivity model based on remote sensing显示文摘Spatial scaling for net primary productivity (NPP) refers to the transferring process of establishing quantitative correlation between simulated NPP derived from data at different spatial resolutions. How to transfer NPP at one scale by the algorithm with smaller error to at another is the urgent problem. Nonlinearity and effects from land cover type are two main problems in NPP scaling. In this paper, the contextural approach based on mixed pixels and support vector machine (SVM) algorithm are used to make the scaling model from the fine resolution (TM) to the coarse resolution (MODIS). Spatial scaling from NPP retrieved from fine resolution data to NPP derived from coarse resolution images is performed, and the correction of scale effect to NPP retrieved from coarse resolution data of MODIS is accomplished. The result shows that the correlation between Rj_coereted of the correction factor for scale effect and 1-Fmiddle dessity grassland estimated by SVM regression model is higher (R2=0.81). Before the correction for scale effect, the correlation between NPPMODIS and NPPTM is lower (R2=0.69; RMSE=3.47), while the correlation between NPPTM and corrected NPPMODIS_corrected is higher (R2=0.84; RMSE= 1.87). | 9 | Application of intraoperative O-arm-assisted real-time navigation technique for spinal fixation显示文摘This study explored the combined use of the O-arm and real-time navigation during spinal fixation. The clinical data for 60 patients undergoing spinal fixation, at Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Hospital between May 5, 2015 and May 1, 2017, were retrospectively analyzed. Pre-, intra-, and postoperative imaging findings were assessed. The patients were classified into the occipitocervical fusion(32 cases) and thoracic/lumbar/sacral spine fixation(28 cases, including 6 cases of percutaneous pedicle screw) groups. Lesion resections were performed microscopically. An O-arm, combined with real-time navigation, was used to assess spinal fixation. Efficacy was evaluated using operative times, X-ray times, screw positioning, and complications. Within the occipitocervical fusion group, 182 screws were placed in the cervical spine and 96 in the occipital bone. However, 6 screws penetrated the bone cortex and were adjacent to the vertebral arteries, based on O-arm three-dimensional imaging; therefore, the precision rate was 96.7%. Within the thoracic/lumbar/sacral spine fixation group, 148 pedicle screws were implanted, with 4 initially outside the vertebral body,yielding a precision rate of 97.3%. Ten percutaneous pedicle screws were implanted and well positioned. O-arm scans were performed 3 times/patient, with an average of 20–30 min/time. Screw implantation times were 5–7 min(cervical spine), 8–10 min(thoracic spine), and 6–8 min(lumbar spine).
