| 1 | Research and Application Prospect of Computer Simulation on Heat Treatment Process显示文摘In this paper, a modified temperature-phase transformation-stress/strain field coupled 3D non-linear mathematical model was used in the computer simulation on heat treatment processes of workpieces including catch jaw, anchor ring, cold roller, large-scale bearing roller, nitriding crank shaft, etc. The simulation on complicated technologies such as pre-cooled quenching, double media quenching, self-tempering, difference temperature heating, nitriding distortion was carried out. The optimum design of heat treatment technology has been realized. | 2 | Research Progress on Heat Stress of Rice at Flowering Stage显示文摘Global warming has caused frequent occurrence of heat stress at the flowering stage of single-season rice in the Yangtze River region of China, which results in declines of spikelet fertility and yield in rice. Rice flowering stage is the most sensitive period to high temperatures, and therefore, the key for heat stress happening is the flowering stage coinciding with high temperature, which causes spikelet fertility decreasing in heat-sensitive varieties, and is the major factor for heat injury differences among various rice planting regions. With the development of rice breeding, temperature indexes for heat stress has been converted from daily maximum temperature of 35 oC to 38 oC with the stress duration of more than 3 d. During the flowering stage, anther dehiscence inhibition and low pollen shedding onto the stigma are two main reasons for spikelet fertility reduction under high temperatures. At panicle initiation stage, high temperatures aggravate spikelet degeneration, and destroy floral organ development. Various types of rice varieties coexist in production, and indica-japonica hybrid rice demonstrates the highest heat resistance in general, followed by indica and japonica rice varieties. In production, avoiding high temperature is the main strategy of preventing heat stress, and planting suitable cultivars and adjustment of sowing date are the most effective measures. Irrigation is an effective real-time cultivation measure to decline the canopy temperature during the rice flowering stage. We suggested that further study should be focused on exploring heat injury differences among different rice variety types, and innovating rice-planting methods according to planting system changes in rice planting regions with extreme heat stress. | 3 | Reversible Histone H2B Monoubiquitination Fine-Tunes Abscisic Acid Signaling and Drought Response in Rice显示文摘Histone H2B monoubiquitination (H2Bub1) plays important roles in several physiological and developmental processes, but its roles in the regulation of plant stress responses remain elusive. Here, we report that H2Bub1 is crucially involved in abscisic acid (ABA) signaling and drought response in rice. We found that rice HISTONE MONOUBIQUITINATION2 (OsHUB2), an E3 ligase for H2Bub1, in teracted with OsbZIP46, a key transcription factor regulating ABA signaling and drought response in rice. Genetic analyses suggest that OsHUB2, upregulated by drought and ABA, positively modulates ABA sensitivity and drought resistance. The H2Bub1 levels were in creased in the target genes of OsbZIP46 under the drought stress and ABA treat- merits, which were positively correlated with their increased expression levels. Interestingly, MODD, a reported suppressor of ABA signaling and drought resistance by mediating OsbZIP46 deactivation and degradation, could reduce the H2Bub1 levels in the target genes of OsbZIP46 by recruiting a putative deubiquitinase OsOTLD1 . Suppression of OsOTLD1in vivo resulted in increased H2Bub1 levels and expression of OsbZIP46 target genes. Although some works have been done for power allocation in heterogeneous femtocell networks, most of them focus centralized schemes for single-cell network under interference constraint of macrocell user. In this paper, a sum-rate maximization based power allocation algorithm is proposed for a downlink cognitive Het Net with one macrocell network and multiple microcell networks. The original power allocation optimization problem with the consideration of cross-tier interference constraint, maximum transmit power constraint of microcell base station and inter-cell interference of microcell networks is converted into a geometric programming problem which can be solved by Lagrange dual method in a distributed way. | 5 | Effects of redox potential on soil cadmium solubility:Insight into microbial community显示文摘Understanding the role of microbes in the solubility of cadmium(Cd) is of fundamental importance for remediation of Cd toxicity. The present study aimed to identify the microbes that involved in regulating Cd solubility and to reveal possible mechanisms. Therefore,microbial communities were investigated through high-throughput sequencing approach, the molecular ecological network was constructed and metagenomes were predicted. Our results indicated that redox conditions affected both the solubility of soil Cd and the microbial communities. Anaerobic microbes, such as Anaerolineaceae, did not only play important roles in shaping the microbial community in soils, but might also be involved in regulating the Cd solubility. Two possible mechanisms that how Anaerolineaceae involved in Cd solubility are(1) Anaerolineaceae are important organic matter degraders under anoxic conditions and(2) Anaerolineaceae can co-exist with methane metabolism microbes, while methane metabolism promotes the precipitation of soluble Cd. Thus, application of Anaerolineaceae in bioremediation of soil Cadmium contamination is a potential approach. | 6 | esveratrol inhibits necroptosis by mediating the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL pathway in myocardial hypoxia/reoxygenation injury显示文摘Resveratrol(RES)protects myocardial cells from hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R)-caused injury.However,the mechanism of this effect has not been clarified.Thus,in this study,we aimed to determine whether RES attenuates H/R-induced cell necroptosis by inhibiting the tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)/receptor-interacting protein kinase 1(RIP1)/RIP3/mixed-lineage kinase domain-like(MLKL)signaling pathway.Rat myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)models and H/R-injured cell models were constructed.Our study showed that myocardial H/R injury significantly increased the levels of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL by western blot analysis.Cell viability assay and 4,6-dianmidino-2-phenylindole(DAPI)-propidium iodide staining showed that the cell viability was decreased,and necroptosis was increased after myocardial H/R injury.The expressions of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL in H/R myocardial cells treated with different concentrations of RES were significantly downregulated.In addition,we also found that the cell viability was increased and necroptosis was decreased in dose-dependent manners when H/R-injured cells were treated with RES.In addition,the enhanced effect of TNF-αon necroptosis in myocardial H/R-injured cells was improved by RES,and the effect of RES was confirmed in vivo in I/R rats.This study also showed that RES suppresses necroptosis in H9c2 cells,which may occur through the inhibition of the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL signaling pathway.Our data suggest that necroptosis is a promising therapeutic target and may be a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of myocardial I/R injury. | Yongjun Hu Hongwei Pan Jianqiang Peng Jin He Mingxiang Tang Sulan Yan Jingjing Rong Junshan Li Zhaofen Zheng Haijun Wang Yanfu Liu Xin Zhong | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,4: | 6 |
| 7 | Genome-wide association study of callus induction variation to explore the callus formation mechanism of rice显示文摘Rice(Oryza sativa) is one of the most widely cultivated food crops, worldwide. Tissue culture is extensively used in rice breeding and functional genome research. The ability to induce callus determines whether a particular rice variety can be subjected to tissue culture and Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. Over the past two decades, many quantitative trait loci(QTLs)related to callus induction traits have been identified;however, individual genes associated with rice callus induction have not been reported. In this study, we characterized three callus-induction traits in a global collection of 510 rice accessions. A genome-wide association study of the rice population in its entirety as well as subpopulations revealed 21 significant loci located in rice callus induction QTLs. We identified three candidate callus induction genes, namely CRL1, Os BMM1, and Os SET1, which Rese are orthologs of Arabidopsis LBD17/LBD29, BBM, and SWN,respectively, which are known to affect callus formation.Furthermore, we predicted that 14 candidate genes might be involved in rice callus induction and showed that RNA interference(RNAi)-mediated disruption of Os IAA10 inhibited callus formation on tissue culture medium.Embryo growth in the Os IAA10 RNAi line was not inhibited by synthetic auxin(2,4-D) treatment, suggesting that Os IAA10 may perceive auxin and activate the expression of downstream genes, such as CRL1, to induce callus formation. | 9 | Moving target localization for multistatic passive radar using delay, Doppler and Doppler rate measurements显示文摘Time delay and Doppler shift between the echo signal and the reference signal are two most commonly used measurements in target localization for the passive radar. Doppler rate, which can be obtained from the extended cross ambiguity function, offers an opportunity to further enhance the localization accuracy. This paper considers using the measurement Doppler rate in addition to measurements of time delay and Doppler shift to locate a moving target. A closed-form solution is developed to accurately and efficiently estimate the target position and velocity.The proposed solution establishes a pseudolinear set of equations by introducing some additional variables, imposes weighted least squares formulation to yield a rough estimate, and utilizes the function relation among the target location parameters and additional variables to improve the estimation accuracy. Theoretical covariance and Cramer-Rao lower bound(CRLB) are derived and compared, analytically indicating that the proposed solution attains the CRLB. | 10 | Ambulatory blood pressure profile and stroke recurrence显示文摘Objectives To establish a new ambulatory blood pressure(ABP)parameter(24-hour ABP profile)and evaluated its performance on stroke outcome in ischaemic stroke(IS)or transient ischaemic attack(TIA)patients.Methods The prospective cohort consisted of 1996 IS/TIA patients enrolled for ABP monitoring and a 3-month follow-up for stroke recurrence as outcome.Profile groups of systolic blood pressure(SBP)were identified via an advanced functional clustering method,and the associations of the profile groups and conventional ABP parameters with stroke recurrence were examined in a Cox proportional hazards model.Results Three discrete profile groups(n=604,781 and 611 in profiles 1,2 and 3,respectively)in 24-hour ambulatory SBP were identified.Profile 1 resembled most to the normal diurnal blood pressure pattern;profile 2 also dropped at night,but climbed earlier and with higher morning surge;while profile 3 had sustained higher nocturnal SBP without significant nocturnal SBP decline.The incidence of stroke recurrence was 2.9%,3.9%and 5.5%in profiles 1,2 and 3,respectively.After adjustment for covariates,profile 3 was significantly associated with higher risk of stroke recurrence with profile 1 as reference(HR 1.76,95%CI:1.00 to 3.09),while no significant difference was observed between profiles 2 and 1(HR 1.22,95%CI:0.66 to 2.25).None of conventional ABP parameters showed significant associations with the outcome.Conclusions Ambulatory 24-hour SBP profile is associated with short-term stroke recurrence.Profiles of ABP may help improve identification of stroke recurrence by capturing the additive effects of individual ABP parameters. | Jie Xu Fei Jiang Anxin Wang Hui Zhi Yuan Gao Junping Tian Jinglin Mo Zimo Chen An-Ding Xu Benyan Luo Bo Hu Yuqing Zhang Xingquan Zhao Yilong Wang Hao Li Haipeng Shen Yongjun Wang | 2021 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,3: | 3 |

| 12 | Effects of Piriformospora indica on the Respiration of Taxus chinensis var.mairei under Water Stress显示文摘Seedlings of Taxus chinensis var.mairei were used as experimental materials to study the adaptation of Piriformospora indica to this plant under water stress.The materials were divided into two groups,namely,with or without inoculation with P.indica.Each group was subjected to four different levels of water stress.Vitality and physiological and biochemical indexes of the roots of T.chinensis var.mairei were regularly measured.Under water stress,T.chinensis var.mairei had significantly decreased root vitality;root vitality was higher in inoculated roots than in uninoculated roots.Under intense water stress,the inoculated roots had a higher soluble sugar content than the uninoculated roots.Under water stress,T.chinensis var.mairei experienced decreased activity of aerobic respiratory metabolic enzymes.The activity of anaerobic respiratory metabolic enzymes and alcohol dehydrogenase initially increased and then decreased,whereas that of lactate dehydrogenase increased.The inoculated roots had a higher activity of respiratory metabolic enzymes than the uninoculated roots.As water stress was further intensified,the roots had significantly decreased activity of aerobic respiratory metabolic enzymes and significantly increased activity of anaerobic respiratory metabolic enzymes.The activity of respiratory metabolic enzymes decreased faster in the uninoculated roots than in the inoculated roots.This study demonstrated that Piriformospora indica plays a positive role in enhancing the antihypoxic ability of T.chinensis var.mairei,thereby alleviating plant damage due to water stress. | Longsheng Hu Xinru He Pujie Wei Bing Sun Yongjun Fei Die Hu | 2021 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,6: | 2 |
| 13 | Brood sex ratio in the Yellow-bellied Prinia(Prinia flaviventris)显示文摘Background:The adjustment of sex ratios in birds can occur at the egg and nestling stages. Previous studies showed that the sex ratio was affected by environmental factors and parental condition; it may result in seasonal and ecosystem differences.Methods:In this study, the brood sex ratio of the Yellow-bellied Prinia(Prinia flaviventris) in the Nonggang area, Guangxi, southwestern China, was investigated during the breeding season from May to June in 2013 using PCR amplification from whole-genome DNA extracted from blood samples. A total of 31 nests of Yellow-bellied Prinia, including 132 brood fledglings and 31 pairs, were sampled.Results:The results showed that the brood sex ratio of the Yellow-bellied Prinia was 1:1, and sex ratios of different nests were evenly distributed within the study area. No significant relationship was found between parental quality and nest characteristics with the brood sex ratio.Conclusions:The present study indicated that no brood sex ratio bias in the Yellow-bellied Prinia highlighted the complexity of sex ratio adjustment in birds. | 14 | Impact of COVID-2019 on stroke services in China: survey from the Chinese Stroke Association显示文摘Background The COVID-19 pandemic and physical distancing guidelines have compelled stroke practices worldwide to reshape their delivery of care significantly.We aimed to illustrate how the stroke services were interrupted during the pandemic in China.Methods A 61-item questionnaire designed on Wenjuanxing Form was completed by doctors or nurses who were involved in treating patients with stroke from 1 February to 31 March 2020.Results A total of 415 respondents completed the online survey after informed consent was obtained.Of the respondents,37.8%,35.2%and 27.0%were from mild,moderate and severe epidemic areas,respectively.Overall,the proportion of severe impact(reduction>50%)on the admission of transient ischaemic stroke,acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)and intracerebral haemorrhage(ICH)was 45.0%,32.0%and 27.5%,respectively.Those numbers were 36.9%,27.9%and 22.3%;36.5%,22.1%and 22.6%;and 66.4%,47.5%and 41.1%in mild,moderate and severe epidemic areas,respectively(all p<0.0001).For AIS,thrombolysis was moderate(20%-50%reduction)or severely impacted(>50%),as reported by 54.4%of the respondents,while thrombectomy was 39.3%.These were 44.4%,26.3%;44.2%,39.4%;and 78.2%,56.5%,in mild,moderate and severe epidemic areas,respectively(all p<0.0001).For patients with acute ICH,39.8%reported the impact was severe or moderate for those eligible for surgery who had surgery.Those numbers were 27.4%,39.0%and 58.1%in mild,moderate and severe epidemic areas,respectively.For staff resources,about 20%(overall)to 55%(severe epidemic)of the respondents reported moderate or severe impact on the on-duty doctors and nurses.Conclusion We found a significant reduction of admission for all types of patients with stroke during the pandemic.Patients were less likely to receive appropriate care,for example,thrombolysis/thrombectomy,after being admitted to the hospital.Stroke service in severe COVID-19 epidemic areas,for example,Wuhan,was much more severely impacted compared with other regions in China. | Xia Wang Menglu Ouyang Cheryl Carcel Chen Chen Lingli Sun Jie Yang Yao Zhang Guofang Chen Shoujiang You Yongjun Cao Lu Ma Xin Hu Yi Sui Craig Anderson Lili Song Yongjun Wang David Wang | 2020 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,4: | 2 |
| 15 | Modeling,analysis,and simulation of X-shape quasi-zero-stiffness-roller vibration isolators显示文摘Existing quasi-zero stiffness(QZS)isolators are reviewed.In terms of their advantages,a novel X-shape QZS isolator combined with the cam-roller-spring mechanism(CRSM)is proposed.Different from the existing X-shape isolators,oblique springs are used to enhance the negative stiffness of the system.Meanwhile,the CRSM is used to eliminate the gravity of the loading mass,while the X-shape structure leaves its static position.The existing QZS isolators are demonstrated and classified according to their nonlinearity mechanisms and classical shapes.It is shown that the oblique spring can realize negative stiffness based on the simplest mechanism.The X-shape has a strong capacity of loading mass,while the CRSM can achieve a designed restoring force at any position.The proposed isolator combines all these advantages together.Based on the harmonic balance method(HBM)and the simulation,the displacement transmissibilities of the proposed isolator,the X-shape isolators just with oblique springs,and the X-shape isolators in the traditional form are studied.The results show that the proposed isolator has the lowest beginning isolation frequency and the smallest maximum displacement transmissibility.However,it still has some disadvantages similar to the existing QZS isolators.This means that its parameters should be designed carefully so as to avoid becoming a bistable system,in which there are two potential wells in the potential energy curve and thus the isolation performance will be worsened. | Xiaoye MAO Mengmeng YIN Hu DING Xiaofeng GENG Yongjun SHEN Liqun CHEN | 2022 | Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2022,43,7: | 2 |
| 16 | Influence of Coanda surface curvature on performance of bladeless fan显示文摘The unique Coanda surface has a great influence on the performance of bladeless fan.However,there is few studies to explain the relationship between the performance and Coanda surface curvature at present.In order to gain a qualitative understanding of effect of the curvature on the performance of bladeless fan,numerical studies are performed in this paper.Firstly,three-dimensional numerical simulation is done by Fluent software.For the purpose to obtain detailed information of the flow field around the Coanda surface,two-dimensional numerical simulation is also conducted.Five types of Coanda surfaces with different curvature are designed,and the flow behaviour and the performance of them are analyzed and compared with those of the prototype.The analysis indicates that the curvature of Coanda surface is strongly related to blowing performance,It is found that there is an optimal curvature of Coanda surfaces among the studied models.Simulation result shows that there is a special low pressure region.With increasing curvature in Y direction,several low pressure regions gradually enlarged,then begin to merge slowly,and finally form a large area of low pressure.From the analyses of streamlines and velocity angle,it is found that the magnitude of the curvature affects the flow direction and reasonable curvature can induce fluid flow close to the wall.Thus,it leads to that the curvature of the streamlines is consistent with that of Coanda surface.Meanwhile,it also causes the fluid movement towards the most suitable direction.This study will provide useful information to performance improvements of bladeless fans. | LI Guoqi HU Yongjun JIN Yingzi Toshiaki Setoguchi Heuy Dong Kim | 2014 | Journal of Thermal Science2014,23,5: | 2 |

| 18 | Analysis of risk factors associated with endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography for patients with liver cirrhosis: a multicenter, retrospective, clinical study显示文摘Background:Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP)is the endoscopic modality of choice for the treatment of biliary and pancreatic diseases.However,patients with cirrhosis,particularly those with decompensated cirrhosis,are believed to be at increased risk for complications associated with ERCP.There is a paucity of literature describing the outcomes of ERCP for patients with cirrhosis.This study aimed to investigate the outcomes of ERCP for cirrhosis patients,especially adverse events,and evaluated its safety and efficacy.Methods:We performed a multicenter,retrospective study of all patients at Beijing Friendship Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University,Xijing Hospital affiliated to Air Force Military Medical University,Beijing Youan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University,and the Fifth Medical Center of the People’s Liberation Army General Hospital from June 2003 to August 2019.The adverse events of inpatient ERCP for patients with(n=182)and without liver cirrhosis(controls;n=385)were compared.Results:A total of 567 patients underwent ERCP between January 2003 and December 2019 were enrolled in this study.Compared to patients without cirrhosis,patients with cirrhosis were at higher risk for postoperative complications(odds ratio[OR],4.172;95%confidence interval[CI],1.232–7.031;P<0.001)such as postoperative pancreatitis(OR,2.026;95%CI,1.002–4.378;P=0.001)and cholangitis(OR,3.903;95%CI,1.001–10.038;P=0.036).The main indications for ERCP for patients with cirrhosis in this study included choledocholithiasis(101 cases;55.5%),benign bile duct strictures(46 cases;25.3%),and malignant bile duct strictures(28 cases;15.4%).Among them,23 patients(12.6%)underwent balloon dilation and 79 patients(43.4%)underwent sphincterotomy.Of the patients with cirrhosis,delayed bleeding occurred in ten patients(5.5%),postoperative pancreatitis occurred in 80 patients(44.0%),and postoperative cholangitis occurred in 25 patients(13.7%).An additional multivariate analysis showed that the total bilirubin(TBIL)level(OR,4.58;95%CI,2.37–6.70)and Child-Pugh score of C(OR,3.11;95%CI,1.04–5.37)were risk factors for postoperative complications in patients with cirrhosis.Conclusions:Compared with the general population of patients undergoing ERCP,patients with cirrhosis were more prone to postoperative pancreatitis and cholangitis.TBIL levels and Child-Pugh scores were risk factors for postoperative complications in patients with cirrhosis. | Jielin Li Jiexuan Hu Peng Li Yongdong Wu Yongjun Wang Ming Ji Haiyang Hua Wenbin Ran Yanglin Pan Shutian Zhang | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,19: | 2 |

| 20 | Examination of Resource Curse Hypothesis: Mineral Resources Exploitation and Economic Growth in Xinjiang Autonomous Region显示文摘The mineral resources exploitation stage and the economic growth rate are various in different regions of Xinjiang Autonomous region. Using the method of location quotient, this paper identifies and classifies the intensive regions of three types of mineral resources, known as coal, oil and natural gas, respectively. The intensive regions of economic growth were also identified, according to the rate of per capita GDP growth at prefecture, autonomous prefecture and city. The relationships between different mineral resources and economic growth are different, for example, the relationship between economic growth and coal resource is positive, while the relationship between economic growth and oil resource, or natural gas resource is negative. This study empirically examines the effects of natural resources on economic growth of Xinjiang. The results show that whilst natural resources have a positive impact on growth, and can make a negative impact on growth through the transmission channels, such as investment, manufacture, human capital, and scientific and technologic innovation. Moreover, it studies the transmission channels, that is, the effect of natural resources on the other explanatory variables, and calculates the indirect effect of natural resources on growth for each transmission channel, and comprehensive effects of natural resources on growth.
