| 1 | Anomaly Detection of Industrial Control Systems Based on Transfer Learning显示文摘Industrial Control Systems(ICSs)are the lifeline of a country.Therefore,the anomaly detection of ICS traffic is an important endeavor.This paper proposes a model based on a deep residual Convolution Neural Network(CNN)to prevent gradient explosion or gradient disappearance and guarantee accuracy.The developed methodology addresses two limitations:most traditional machine learning methods can only detect known network attacks and deep learning algorithms require a long time to train.The utilization of transfer learning under the modification of the existing residual CNN structure guarantees the detection of unknown attacks.One-dimensional ICS flow data are converted into two-dimensional grayscale images to take full advantage of the features of CNN.Results show that the proposed method achieves a high score and solves the time problem associated with deep learning model training.The model can give reliable predictions for unknown or differently distributed abnormal data through short-term training.Thus,the proposed model ensures the safety of ICSs and verifies the feasibility of transfer learning for ICS anomaly detection. | Weiping Wang Zhaorong Wang Zhanfan Zhou Haixia Deng Weiliang Zhao Chunyang Wang Yongzhen Guo | 2021 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2021,26,6: | 11 |
| 2 | Effects of Double Harvesting on Heavy Metal Uptake by Six Forage Species and the Potential for Phytoextraction in Field显示文摘The pollution of soils by heavy metals has dramatically increased in recent decades. Phytoextraction is a technology that extracts elements from polluted soils using hyperaccumulator plants. The selection of appropriate plant materials is an important factor for successful phytoextraction in field. A field study was conducted to compare the efficiency of six high-biomass forage species in their phytoextraction of heavy metals(Cd, Pb, and Zn) from contaminated soil under two harvesting strategies(double harvesting or single harvesting). Among the tested plants, amaranth accumulated the greatest amounts of Cd and Zn, whereas Rumex K^(-1) had the highest amount of Pb in the shoot under both double and single harvesting. Furthermore, double harvesting significantly increased the shoot biomass of amaranth, sweet sorghum and sudangrass and resulted in higher heavy metal contents in the shoot. Under double harvesting, the total amounts of extracted Cd, Pb and Zn(i.e., in the first plus second crops) for amaranth were 945, 2 650 and 12 400 g ha^(-1), respectively, the highest recorded among the six plant species. The present results indicate that amaranth has great potential for the phytoextraction of Cd from contaminated soils. | 3 | Characterization of the dissolved organic matter in sewage effluent of sequence batch reactor: the impact of carbon source显示文摘Dissolved organic matter (DOM) transforma- tion in sequence batch reactor (SBR) fed with carbon sources of different biodegradability was investigated. During the biologic degradation process, the low mole- cular weight (MW) fraction (〈 1 kDa) gradually decreased, while the refractory compounds with higher aromaticity were aggregated. Size exclusion chromatogra- phy (SEC) and fluorescence of excitation emission matrices (EEM) demonstrated that more biopolymers (polysaccharides or proteins) and humic-like substances were presented in the extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) extracted from the SBR fed with sodium acetate or glucose, while the EPS from SBR fed with slowly biodegradable dissolved organic carbon (DOC) substrate- starch had relatively less biopolymers. Comparing the EfOM in sewage effluent of three SBRs, the effluent from SBR fed with starch is more aromatic. Organic carbon with MW 〉 1 kDa as well as the hydrophobic fraction in DOM gradually increased with the carbon sources changing from sodium acetate to glucose and starch. | 4 | Community structures and population dynamics of “Candidatus Accumulibacter” in activated sludges of wastewater treatment plants using ppk1 as phylogenetic marker显示文摘Candidatus Accumulibacter has been identified as dominant polyphosphate-accumulating organisms(PAOs) in enhanced biological phosphorus(P) removal(EBPR) from wastewater.This study revealed the relevance of community structure, abundance and seasonal population dynamics of Candidatus Accumulibacter to process operation of wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs) in China using ppk1 gene as phylogenetic marker. All sludge samples had properties of denitrifying P removal using nitrate as an electron acceptor.Accumulibacter abundance in the anaerobic-anoxic-oxic(A^2O) process was the highest(26%of total bacteria), and higher in winter than in summer with a better EBPR performance.Type-II was the dominant Accumulibacter in all processes, and type-I accounted for a small proportion of total Accumulibacter. The abundance of Clade-IIC as the most dominant clade reached 2.59 × 10~9 cells/g MLSS and accounted for 87.3% of total Accumulibacter. Clade IIC mainly contributed to denitrifying P removal. Clades IIA, IIC and IID were found in all processes, while clade-IIF was only found in oxidation ditch process through phylogenetic analysis. High proportion of clade IID to total Accumulibacter led to poor performance of aerobic P-uptake in inverted A^2O process. | 7 | Effects of lanthanum on hot deformation behaviour of Mn-Cr-Mo bainitic rail steel显示文摘Effects of lanthanum(La) as micro-alloying element on the hot deformation behaviour of the high strength Mn-Cr-Mo bainitic rail steel were investigated under a range of deformation conditions. The results indicate that La increases the flow stress by 10-30 MPa through strengthening nanoscale strain induced precipitation(SIP) θ-(Fe,La)3 C during hot deformation. The hot deformation activation energy increases by 10-40 kJ/mol due to the 'Zener effect' of SIP and the dynamic recrystallization(DRX) is retarded due to the competitive behaviour between SIP and DRX. Bainite plates in the DRX domain can be refined by adding La, resulting in the improvement of hot workability.
