BRIF and CARIF progress显示文摘China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) is currently constructing Beijing rare ion beam facility (BRIF) and is proposing China advanced rare ion beam facility (CARIF). This paper is aiming at introducing the progress of BRIF project and the con ceptual design CARIF. The ISOL type facility BRIF under construction is composed of a 100 MeV 300 ?A proton cyclotron, an ISOL with mass resolution of 20000, and a super-conducting LINAC of 2 MeV/q, and will be commissioned in 2013. CARIF facility proposed is planned to use both ISOL and PF techniques. It is based on a China advanced research reactor CARR that was critical, with ISOL separation of fission fragment, post acceleration to 150 MeV/u, and fragmentation of neu tron-rich fission fragment beam like 132Sn. Such unique combination will allow CARIF to deliver beam intensity better than the best world facilities by more than one order of magnitude. | LIU WeiPing, LI ZhiHong, BAI XiXiang, WANG YouBao, GUO Bing, PENG ChaoHua, YANG Yi, SU Jun, CUI BaoQun, ZHOU ShuHua, ZHU ShengYun, XIA HaiHong, GUAN XiaLing, ZENG Sheng, ZHANG HuanQiao, CHEN YongShou, TANG HongQing, HUANG Li & FENG BeiYuan China Institute of Atomic Energy, P. | 2 | Determination of the ^(12)C(p, γ)^(13)N reaction rates fromthe ^(12)C(~7Li,~6He)^(13)N reaction显示文摘The angular distribution of the 12C(7Li,6He)13N reaction at E(7Li) = 44.0 MeV was measured at the HI-13 tandem accelerator of Beijing, China. The asymptotic normalization coefficient (ANC) of 13N → 12C + p was derived to be (1.64 ± 0.11) fm-1/2 through the distorted wave Born approximation (DWBA) analysis. The ANC was then used to deduce the astrophysical S (E) factors and reaction rates for the 12C(p,γ)13N direct capture reaction at energies of astrophysical relevance. | LI ZhiHong, SU Jun, GUO Bing, LI ZhiChang, BAI XiXiang, LIU JianCheng, LI YunJu, YAN ShengQuan, WANG BaoXiang, WANG YouBao, LIAN Gang, ZENG Sheng, LI ErTao, CHEN YongShou, SHU NengChuan, FAN QiWen & LIU WeiPing China Institute of Atomic Energy, Beijing 102413, China | 2010 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,4: | 6

LOW-POWER LVDS I/O INTERFACE FOR ABOVE 2GB/S-PER-PIN OPERATION显示文摘Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) has become a popular choice for high-speed serial links to conquer the bandwidth bottleneck of intra-chip data transmission. This paper presents the design and the implementation of LVDS Input/Output (I/O) interface circuits in a standard 0.18 μm CMOS technology using thick gate oxide devices (3.3 V), fully compatible with LVDS standard. In the proposed transmitter, a novel Common-Mode FeedBack (CMFB)circuit is utilized to keep the common-mode output voltage stable over Process, supply Voltage and Temperature (PVT) variations. Because there are no area greedy resistors in the CMFB circuitry, the disadvantage of large die area in existing transmitter structures is avoided. To obtain sufficient gain, the receiver consists of three am- plifying stages: a voltage amplifying stage, a transconductance amplifying stage, and a transimpedance amplifying stage. And to exclude inner nodes with high RC time constant, shunt-shunt negative feedback is introduced in the receiver. A novel active inductor shunt peaking structure is used in the receiver to fulfill the stringent requirements of high speed and wide Common-Mode Input Region (CMIR) without voltage gain, power dissipation and silicon area penalty. Simulation results show that data rates of 2 Gbps and 2.5 Gbps are achieved for the transmitter and receiver with power con- sumption of 13.2 mW and 8.3 mW respectively. | Wang Xihu Wu Longsheng Liu Youbao | 2009 | Journal of Electronics(China)2009,26,4: | 3
A radiation-hardened-by-design technique for suppressing SET in charge pump of PLL frequency synthesizer显示文摘This paper presents a single event transient(SET) suppressor circuit, which can suppress the effect of SET in charge pump(CP) on the whole PLL frequency synthesizers, and at the same time it brings little negative effect to the system during normal operation.Because the proposed SET suppressor circuit only includes a resistor,a PMOS and an NMOS device, little area penalty is introduced.By preventing SET propagating from CP to low pass filter(LPF) and VCO when a single event strikes on CP output node, the system shows excellent hardness to SET in CP.Mixed simulations are performed on TCAD workbench. The results show that a single event with an LET at 80 MeV cm 2 /mg can only induce approximately 2.3 mV disturbance on the control voltage of VCO. | HAN BenGuang GUO ZhongJie WANG XiHu WU LongSheng LIU YouBao | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,2: | 2
Parametrization of woods-saxon potential for heavy-ion systems显示文摘Several elastic scattering angular distributions of ^(12)C from target nuclei of A ≥39 are analyzed to extract the Woods-Saxon potential parameters with the fixed imaginary potential and Coulomb radius parameters.Using the best fitted diffuseness parameters, the correlations of the real part parameters with A_1^(1/3)+ A_2^(1/3) and incident energy are revealed, and the systematic Woods-Saxon potential parameters are presented for nucleus-nucleus interaction. The proposed potential parameters can reproduce not only the elastic scattering angular distributions induced by ^(12)C,but also many elastic scattering angular distributions induced by the projectiles other than ^(12)C,thus providing important inputs for the study of nuclear reactions of heavy-ion systems. | Lin Gan ZhiHong Li HuiBin Sun DanYang Pang Bing Guo YunJu Li Jun Su ShengQuan Yan ErTao Li YouBao Wang Gang Lian ZhiYu Han XinYue Li DongHui Li TianLi Ma ChangJin Pei YangPing Shen Yi Su Sheng Zeng Yong Zhou WeiPing Liu | 2017 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2017,60,8: | 2
Coordination of glycerol utilization and clavulanic acid biosynthesis to improve clavulanic acid production in Streptomyces clavuligerus显示文摘The glycerol utilization (gyl) operon is involved in clavulanic acid (CA) production by Streptomyces clavuligerus, and possibly supplies the glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate (G3P) precursor for CA biosynthesis. The gyl operon is regulated by GylR and is induced by glycerol. To enhance CA production in S. clavuligerus, an extra copy of ccaR expressed from Pgyl (the gyl promoter) was integrated into the chromosome of S. clavuligerus NRRL 3585. This construct coordinated the transcription of CA biosynthetic pathway genes with expression of the gyl operon. In the transformants carrying the Pgyl-controlled regulatory gene ccaR, CA production was enhanced 3.19-fold in glycerol-enriched batch cultures, relative to the control strain carrying an extra copy of ccaR controlled by its own promoter (PccaR). Consistent with enhanced CA production, the transcription levels of ccaR, ceas2 and claR were significantly up-regulated in the transformants containing Pgyl-controlled ccaR. | GUO DeKun ZHAO YouBao YANG KeQian | 2013 | Science China(Life Sciences)2013,56,7: | 2
Cryptococcus neoformans,a global threat to human health显示文摘Background Emerging fungal pathogens pose important threats to global public health. The World Health Organization has responded to the rising threat of traditionally neglected fungal infections by developing a Fungal Priority Pathogens List (FPPL). Taking the highest-ranked fungal pathogen in the FPPL,Cryptococcus neoformans, as a paradigm, we review progress made over the past two decades on its global burden, its clinical manifestation and management of cryptococcal infection, and its antifungal resistance. The purpose of this review is to drive research efforts to improve future diagnoses, therapies, and interventions associated with fungal infections. Methods We first reviewed trends in the global burden of HIV-associated cryptococcal infection, mainly based on a series of systematic studies. We next conducted scoping reviews in accordance with the guidelines described in the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses extension for Scoping Reviews using PubMed and ScienceDirect with the keywordCryptococcus neoformans to identify case reports of cryptococcal infections published since 2000. We then reviewed recent updates on the diagnosis and antifungal treatment of cryptococcal infections. Finally, we summarized knowledge regarding the resistance and tolerance ofC. neoformans to approved antifungal drugs. Results There has been a general reduction in the estimated global burden of HIV-associated cryptococcal meningitis since 2009, probably due to improvements in highly active antiretroviral therapies. However, cryptococcal meningitis still accounts for 19% of AIDS-related deaths annually. The incidences of CM in Europe and North America and the Latin America region have increased by approximately two-fold since 2009, while other regions showed either reduced or stable numbers of cases. Unfortunately, diagnostic and treatment options for cryptococcal infections are limited, and emerging antifungal resistance exacerbates the public health burden. Conclusions The rising threat ofC. neoformans is compounded by accumulating evidence for its ability to infect immunocompetent individuals and the emergence of antifungal-resistant variants. Emphasis should be placed on further understanding the mechanisms of pathogenicity and of antifungal resistance and tolerance. The development of novel management strategies through the identification of new drug targets and the discovery and optimization of new and existing diagnostics and therapeutics are key to reducing the health burden. | Youbao Zhao Leixin Ye Fujie Zhao Lanyue Zhang Zhenguo Lu Tianxin Chu Siyu Wang Zhanxiang Liu Yukai Sun Min Chen Guojian Liao Chen Ding Yingchun Xu Wanqing Liao Linqi Wang | 2023 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2023,12,2: | 2

Empirical formula for β^--decay half-lives of r-process nuclei显示文摘Experimental data ofβ--decay half-lives of nuclei with atomic number between 20 and 190 are investigated.A systematic formula has been proposed to calculateβ^--decay half-lives of neutron-rich nuclei, with a particular consideration on shell and pair effects, the decay energy Q as well as the nucleon numbers(Z,N).Although the formula has relatively few parameters,it reproduces the experimentalβ^--decay half-lives of neutron-rich nuclei very well. The predicted half-lives for the r-process relevant nuclei obtained with the current formula serve as reliable input in the r-process model calculations. | Yong Zhou ZhiHong Li YouBao Wang YongShou Chen Bing Guo Jun Su YunJu Li ShengQuan Yan XinYue Li ZhiYu Han YangPing Shen Lin Gan Sheng Zeng Gang Lian WeiPing Liu | 2017 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2017,60,8: | 1

Effect and Risk Assessment of Animal Manure Pollution on Huaihe River Basin, China显示文摘Currently the deteriorated water quality for Huaihe River Basin(HRB) in China was still serious because of the negative influence multiple pollution sources including animal manure. However, little attention was paid to the potential risk of animal manure for farmland and water quality of HRB. This study was quantified and forecasted animal manure risk and its spatiotemporal variations in HRB from 2008 to 2018, through pollution discharge coefficient method and pollution load calculation, combined with kriging interpolation method of ArcGIS technology, based on statistics principle. All the data were originated from livestock and poultry breeding in HRB from 2008 to 2018. The future risk of farmland and water environment in HRB was further forecasted. The results indicated that the livestock and poultry manure has become a key pollution source causing a negative influence on farmland and water quality owing to a large amount of animal manure production without efficient recycle utilization. The chemical oxygen demand(COD) and total nitrogen(TN) discharge of animal manure in HRB almost accounted for 17.00% and 39.00% of the whole COD and TN discharge in China. The diffusion concentration of TN and TP in those regions of Shangqiu, Zhoukou, Heze, Zhumadian, Luohe, Jining, Xuchang,Kaifeng, Taian and Zhengzhou of HRB has exceeded the threshold value 10.00 mg/L of TN and 0.08 mg/L of TP, causing water eutrophication and cancer villages. The assessment of farmland and water quality risk revealed that Zhumadian, Zhoukou, Shangqiu, Taian, Jining, Heze, Linyi and Rizhao belonged to high risk areas in HRB, which were still obtained high farmland and water quality risk index in 2030. The results provided insight into an important significance of sustainable balance of livestock and poultry development and ecosystem in HRB. | WANG Youbao PAN Fanghui CHANG Jiayue WU Rongkang TIBAMBA Matthew LU Xuecheng ZHANG Xinxi | 2021 | Chinese Geographical Science2021,31,4: | 0
