1Two-scale analysis method for predicting heat transfer performance of composite materials with random grain distribution显示文摘A two-scale analysis (TSA) method for predicting the heat transfer performance of composite materials with the random distribution of same-scale grains is presented. First the representation of the materials with the random distribution is briefly described. Then the two-scale analysis formulation of heat transfer behavior of the materials with random grain distribution of small periodicity is formally derived by means of construction way for each cell. Finally the numerical result on the heat transfer parameters of composite materials is shown. 2Processing and mechanical properties of 2024 aluminum matrix composites containing Tungsten and Tantalum prepared by PM显示文摘The 2024 Al composites containing W, Ta were fabricated by powder metallurgy for their potential use as shielding material. W, Ta powders and gas-atomized 2024 Al aluminum powders were mixed by a ball mixer. The mixtures were consolidated by cold isostatic pressing (CIP) and then hot-extruded into full-density bars. The extruded bars were heat treated in T6 conditions. The microstructure and its relationship with the mechanical properties were investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results show that the particles of nonuniform size and irregular shape randomly disperse in the 2024 aluminum alloy matrix. 3A COLLABORATIVE SPECTRUM SENSING SCHEME USING FUZZY COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION IN COGNITIVE RADIO显示文摘Cognitive Radio(CR) is a promising technology to solve the challenging spectrum scarcity problem.However, to implement CR, spectrum sensing is the groundwork and the precondition.In this paper, a collaborative spectrum sensing scheme using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is proposed.The final sensing decision of the proposed scheme is based on the combination of distributed sensing results of different Secondary Users(SUs).To improve the reliability of the sensing decision, the combination procedure takes into account the credibility of each SU, which is evaluated using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.The effect of the presence of malicious SUs and malfunctioning SUs on the performance of the proposed scheme is also investigated.The efficiency of the scheme is validated through analysis and simulation.Yang Wendong Ye Yuhuang Cai Yueming Xu Youyun 2009Journal of Electronics(China)2009,26,3:3
4Synthesis and Characterization of Carboxyl-terminated Polyethylene Glycol Functionalized Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles显示文摘Colloidal mesoporous silica nanoparticles functionalized with carboxy-terminated polyethylene glycol(CMS-PEG-COOH) were successfully synthesized by covalently grafting dicarboxy-terminated polyethylene glycol(HOOC-PEG-COOH) on the surface of the amino functionalized CMS nanoparticles with amide bond as a cross linker. Moreover, the structural and particle properties of CMS-PEG-COOH were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(1 H-NMR), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), dynamic light scattering(DLS), nitrogen adsorption-desorption measurements, X-ray diffraction(XRD), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR). The nanomaterials presented a relatively uniform spherical shape morphology with diameters of about 120 nm,and favorable dispersibility in weak acid solution. The CMSPEG-COOH exhibited no changes in the state of amorphous, while the mesopores sizes of 5.25 nm might provide the nanomaterials with large capacity for the loading and releasing of drugs. 5Power allocation for non-orthogonal decode-andforward cooperation protocol显示文摘This paper studies the power allocation problem for the non-orthogonal decode-and-forward (NDF) cooperation protocol with selection relaying. With the availability of the magnitudes of all channel gains at the source, the power allocation is explored that maximizes the mutual information between the source and destination subject to a total power constraint. The minimum power that avoids the outage of the relay is set as a condition, under which the power allocation problem becomes one of selecting the optimal one from several allocation factor triplets. 6Energy-Efficient User Association in Heterogeneous Networks with M2M/H2H Coexistence under QoS Guarantees显示文摘In this paper, we propose an energy efficient user association scheme for uplink heterogeneous networks with machine-to-machine(M2M) and human-to-human(H2H) coexistence. A group based random access protocol is designed for massive number of machine-typecommunications(MTC) user equipments'(UEs) transmissions. A user association problem for UEs' energy efficiency maximization is formulated considering the HTC UEs' quality of service(QoS) guarantees and load balance among multiple BSs, simultaneously. A distributed iterative algorithm is developed to solve the optimization problem. In addition, the convergence of the proposed algorithm is proved. 7Channel-aware multi-user uplink transmission scheme for SIMO-OFDM systems显示文摘The problem of medium access control(MAC) in wireless single-input multiple-output-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(SIMO-OFDM) systems is addressed. Traditional random access protocols have low overheads and inferior performance. Centralized methods have superior performance and high overheads. To achieve the tradeoff between overhead and performance,we propose a channelaware uplink transmission(CaUT) scheme for SIMO-OFDM systems. In CaUT,users transmit requestto-send(RTS) at some subcarriers whose channel gains are above a predetermined threshold. Using the channel state information provided by RTS,access point performs user selection with receive beamforming to decide which users can access and then broadcasts the selection results via clear-to-send(CTS) to users. We present a distributed power control scheme by using a simple fixed modulation mode. We optimize the modulation order and channel gain thresholds to maximize the separable packets subject to the bit-error-rate(BER) and temporal fairness requirements and the individual average transmit power constraints. The performance of CaUT scheme is analyzed analytically and evaluated by simulations. 9A new type SVM——projected SVM显示文摘Support vector machine (SVM), developed by Vapnik et al., is a new and promising technique for classification and regression and has been proved to be competitive with the best available learning machines in many applications. However, the classification speed of SVM is substantially slower than that of other techniques with similar generalization ability. A new type SVM named projected SVM (PSVM), which is a combination of feature vector selection (FVS) method and linear SVM (LSVM), is proposed in present paper. In PSVM, the FVS method is first used to select a relevant subset (feature vectors, FVs) from the training data, and then both the training data and the test data are projected into the subspace constructed by FVs, and finally linear SVM(LSVM) is applied to classify the projected data. The time required by PSVM to calculate the class of new samples is proportional to the count of FVs. In most cases, the count of FVs is smaller than that of support vectors (SVs), and therefore PSVM is faster than SVM in running. 18Preparation and Characterization of Carboxyl Functionalized Fluorescent Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles Containing 8-Hydroxyquinolinate Zinc Complexes显示文摘Fluorescent mesoporous silica nanoparticles functionalized with carboxyl group(Znq-CMSCOOH) were successfully synthesized by in situ formation route of 8-hydroxyquinolinate zinc complexes in channels of mesoporous silica nanoparticles and post-grafting of carboxyl group on the surface. Moreover,the particle size and structural properties of Znq-CMS-COOH were characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM),dynamic light scattering(DLS),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),UV-vis spectrometer, fluorescence spectrometer and nitrogen adsorption-desorption measurements. The obtained results suggest that the Znq-CMS-COOH presents the uniform spherical shape with the mean diameter of about 85 nm and the obvious wormhole arrangement mesoporous. In addition, the Znq-CMS-COOH possesses green fluorescence with the emission peaks at 495 nm.
