1Kinematics and Dynamics of Deployable Structures with Scissor-Like-Elements Based on Screw Theory显示文摘Because the deployable structures are complex multi-loop structures and methods of derivation which lead to simpler kinematic and dynamic equations of motion are the subject of research effort, the kinematics and dynamics of deployable structures with scissor-like-elements are presented based on screw theory and the principle of virtual work respectively. According to the geometric characteristic of the deployable structure examined, the basic structural unit is the common scissor-like-element(SLE). First, a spatial deployable structure, comprised of three SLEs, is defined, and the constraint topology graph is obtained. The equations of motion are then derived based on screw theory and the geometric nature of scissor elements. Second, to develop the dynamics of the whole deployable structure, the local coordinates of the SLEs and the Jacobian matrices of the center of mass of the deployable structure are derived. Then, the equivalent forces are assembled and added in the equations of motion based on the principle of virtual work. Finally, dynamic behavior and unfolded process of the deployable structure are simulated. Its figures of velocity, acceleration and input torque are obtained based on the simulate results. Screw theory not only provides an efficient solution formulation and theory guidance for complex multi-closed loop deployable structures, but also extends the method to solve dynamics of deployable structures. 2Mobility Analysis of the Deployable Structure of SLE Based on Screw Theory显示文摘Scissor-like element has a number of applications in deployable structures such as planar deployable structure (PDS) and ring deployable structure(RDS). However, the mobility analysis of the multi-loop deployable structures is made more difficulty by the traditional mobility formula, because the deployable structure is a very complex structure with multi-loop. Therefore, On the basis of screw theory, the calculation method of mobility of deployable structures of SLE is thoroughly discussed. In order to investigate the mobility, decomposing and composing structures(DCS) are developed, and the basic units are able to be obtained. On the basis of the deployable structures' geometrical characteristics, there exists a closed-loop quadrilateral structure and some non-closed-loop quadrilateral structures in PDS. Also, a six legs parallel structure is present in RDS. The basic units' mobility can be solved by both the methods of screw theory and topology constraint graphs. Then, composing the related basic units, the formula of planar deployable structures' mobility can be built and solves the mobility of ring deployable structure. 3Tribological Characteristics of Graphene as Lithium Grease Additive显示文摘The tribological properties of graphene(GN) and graphite(G) as lubricant additives in lithium greases were investigated with a four-ball tribotester. The micro-morphology as well as the content and chemical state of elements on the worn surfaces was characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The results showed that the tribological performance of lithium grease could be significantly improved by the addition of graphene. 4Kinematic and Dynamic Characteristics Analysis of Bennett's Linkage显示文摘Bennett's linkage is a spatial fourlink linkage,and has an extensive application prospect in the deployable linkages.Its kinematic and dynamic characteristics analysis has a great significance in its synthesis and application. According to the geometrical conditions of Bennett 's linkage,the motion equations are established,and the expressions of angular displacement,angular velocity and angular acceleration of the followers and the displacement,velocity and acceleration of mass center of link are shown. Based on Lagrange's equation,the multi-rigid-body dynamic model of Bennett's linkage is established. In order to solve the reaction forces and moments of joint,screw theory and reciprocal screw method are combined to establish the computing method.The number of equations and unknown reaction forces and moments of joint are equal through adding link deformation equations. The influence of the included angle of adjacent axes on Bennett 's linkage 's kinematic characteristics,the dynamic characteristics and the reaction forces and moments of joint are analyzed.Results show that the included angle of adjacent axes has a great effect on velocity,acceleration,the reaction forces and moments of Bennett's linkage. 5RDFAdaptor:Efficient ETL Plugins for RDF Data Process显示文摘Purpose:The interdisciplinary nature and rapid development of the Semantic Web led to the mass publication of RDF data in a large number of widely accepted serialization formats,thus developing out the necessity for RDF data processing with specific purposes.The paper reports on an assessment of chief RDF data endpoint challenges and introduces the RDF Adaptor,a set of plugins for RDF data processing which covers the whole life-cycle with high efficiency.Design/methodology/approach:The RDFAdaptor is designed based on the prominent ETL tool—Pentaho Data Integration—which provides a user-friendly and intuitive interface and allows connect to various data sources and formats,and reuses the Java framework RDF4J as middleware that realizes access to data repositories,SPARQL endpoints and all leading RDF database solutions with SPARQL 1.1 support.It can support effortless services with various configuration templates in multi-scenario applications,and help extend data process tasks in other services or tools to complement missing functions.Findings:The proposed comprehensive RDF ETL solution—RDFAdaptor—provides an easy-to-use and intuitive interface,supports data integration and federation over multi-source heterogeneous repositories or endpoints,as well as manage linked data in hybrid storage mode.Research limitations:The plugin set can support several application scenarios of RDF data process,but error detection/check and interaction with other graph repositories remain to be improved.Practical implications:The plugin set can provide user interface and configuration templates which enable its usability in various applications of RDF data generation,multi-format data conversion,remote RDF data migration,and RDF graph update in semantic query process.Originality/value:This is the first attempt to develop components instead of systems that can include extract,consolidate,and store RDF data on the basis of an ecologically mature data warehousing environment.Jiao Li Guojian Xian Ruixue Zhao Yongwen Huang Yuantao Kou Tingting Luo Tan Sun 2021Journal of Data and Information Science2021,6,3:2
6Rational design of robust nano-Si/graphite nanocomposites anodes with strong interfacial adhesion for high-performance lithium-ion batteries显示文摘The nano-Si/graphite nanocomposites are the promising anodes candidates for high-energy lithium-ion batteries because of their high theoretical capacities and low volume variations.However,the nano-Si has a severe tendency to separate from the graphite substrate due to the inherently weak bonding between them,thus leading to the deteriorated cycling performance and low Coulombic efficiency.Herein,we design a robust nano-Si/graphite nanocomposite structure with strong interfacial adhesion caused by the Si—Ti and Ti—C covalent bonds.The abundant Si—Ti and Ti—C bonds formed between nano-Si and graphite greatly enhance the interfacial adhesion force,resulting in the highly stabilized and integrated electrode structure during battery cycling.Consequently,the as-obtained nano-Si/graphite anodes deliver a high capacity retention of 90.0% after 420 cycles at 0.5 C with an average Coulombic efficiency of 99.5%;moreover,a high initial Coulombic efficiency of 90.2% is achieved.Significantly,this work provides a novel strategy to address the poor interfacial adhesion between nano-Si and graphite,which can be applied to other nano-Si based composites anodes.Yuantao Yan Xiaoli Zhao Huanglin Dou Jingjiang Wei Wanyu Zhao Zhihua Sun Xiaowei Yang 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,2:1

10NEW INSIGHTS INTO THE PHYLOGENY AND SPECIATION OF KUMQUAT (FORTUNELLA SPP.) BASED ON CHLOROPLAST SNP, NUCLEAR SSR AND WHOLE-GENOME SEQUENCING显示文摘Kumquat(Fortunella spp.)is a fruit and ornamental crop worldwide due to the palatable taste and high ornamental value of its fruit.Although Fortunella is classified into the economically important true citrus fruit tree group together with Citrus and Poncirus,few studies have been focused on its evolutionary scenario.In this study,analysis of five chloroplast loci and 47 nuclear microsatellites(nSSR)loci from 38 kumquat and 10 citrus accessions revealed the independent phylogeny of Fortunella among citrus taxa,and that Fortunella mainly comprises two populations:CUL,cultivated Fortunella spp.(F.margarita,F.crassifolia and F.japonica);and HK,wild Hong Kong kumquat(Fortunella hindsii).Genomic analysis based on whole-genome SNPs indicated that the allele frequency of both pupations deviated from the neutral selection model,suggesting directional selection was a force driving their evolutions.CUL exhibited lower genomic diversity and higher linkage strength than HK,suggesting artificial selection involved in its origin.A high level of genetic differentiation(Fst=0.364)was detected and obviously asynchronous demographic changes were observed between CUL and HK.Based on these results,a new hypothesis for the speciation of Fortunella is proposed.Chenqiao ZHU Peng CHEN Junli YE Hang LI Yue HUANG Xiaoming YANG Chuanwu CHEN Chenglei ZHANG Yuantao XU Xiaoli WANG Xiang YAN Guangzhou DENG Xiaolin JIANG Nan WANG Hongxing WANG Quan SUN Yun LIU Di FENG Min YU Xietian SONG Zongzhou XIE Yunliu ZENG Lijun CHAI Qiang XU Chongling DENG Yunjiang CHENG Xiuxin DENG 2022Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2022,9,4:0
11The Impact of a Public Health Emergency on the Demand for Life Insurance-An Empirical Analysis Based on Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome显示文摘We examined changes in personal life insurance purchase decisions after a public health event by incorporating perceived health risk and regret into the expected utility function.The model predicts that the epidemic will create incremental insurance demand.Based on the 2003 severe acute respiratory syndrome outbreak in China,we used a panel dataset of 30 provinces from 2000 to 2007 and applied the difference-in-differences method to confirm the prediction empirically.The results showed that the epidemic did not significantly impact the demand for life insurance in the short term but played a role in the long term.People increased their health-care expenditure and premiums for new policies after the severe acute respiratory syndrome event,suggesting that the epidemic changed people's perceived risk and triggered anticipated regret,which increased life insurance demand.Some robustness checks also supported our findings.Ying Sun Xiaoyan Li Yuantao Xie 2023China & World Economy2023,31,3:0

13A naked-eye colorimetric sensor for chloroform显示文摘A phenoxazine based molecule termed SP has been synthesized and used as selective sensor for halogenated solvents. This molecule shows selective fast response towards halogenated solvent via naked-eye detectable chromism. SP shows colorless solution when dissolved in most solvents initially but changes to blue color in chloroform under UV irradiation(λ = 365 nm) within 5 s. The luminescence spectra of SP in halogenated solvent show a large bathochromic shift(> 100 nm) with 60-fold enhanced emission intensity compared to that in halogen-free solvents. It is also worth mentioning that the photoinduced reaction between SP molecule and the halogenated solvents occurred. 14Studies on plasma-activated perilla seed oil:Diagnosis,optimisation,and validation of reactive species显示文摘Recently,the applications of cold atmospheric plasma(CAP)in liquid treatment have attracted increasing attention owing to its excellent medical efficacy.It has been proved that CAP can effectively enhance the biological activity of vegetable oils due to the generation of reactive species.Optimising the reactor parameter is an important approach to regulate reactive species in plasma-activated oil to obtain better biological effects.In this study,a self-made jet array driven by a pulsed power supply was used to generate large-area plasma to irradiate perilla seed oil(PSO),with the formation of plasmaactivated perilla seed oil(PAPSO).By means of laser-induced fluorescence and chemical titration,the relative density of hydroxyl radical radical in plasma jet,as well as the activity of PAPSO were measured under different discharge parameters,and realised the control of the activity of PAPSO.In vitro experiments showed that PAPSO significantly enhanced its ability to inhibit cancer cells proliferation and induce apoptosis after plasma treatment,which provides a reference for cancer treatment.This study is helpful to further understand the influence of plasma dose effect on the activity of media and provide guidance for related plasma medical applications.Xiaolong Wang Jun Liu Quanxin Li Lian Li Shanrui Li Yunhan Ding Tong Zhao Ying Sun Yuantao Zhang 2023High Voltage2023,8,4:0
15Disciplinary development of global health academic degree programs in China显示文摘This study aims to provide a brief overview of the history and development of global health education(GHE)as academic degree programs worldwide,and to identify GHE’s development opportunities and obstacles in China.This is a state-of-the-art review of published and unpublished information that described and evaluated disciplinary development of global health degree programs worldwide,written in English,and published or shared between 1990 and 2020.Data were derived from official websites of leading global health institutions,like“Google Scholar”,“PubMed”,and unpublished information such as presentation files and unpublished manuscripts collected from knowledgeable leaders in the field.We retrieved and reviewed a total of 35 articles and a large amount of unpublished information or sources on the internet.Global Health emerged as a new discipline around the end of the last millennium and proliferated in the last two decades in developed nations,especially the United States and the United Kingdom.The development of China’s GHE programs was built on China’s increasing engagement in global health affairs and research.In 2012,Wuhan University established the first official global health department in China.Several universities such as Peking University and Duke Kunshan University subsequently set up departments or programs to offer undergraduate and postgraduate majors and degrees.The first school-level global health unit was established in Shanghai in 2019.The Consortium of Chinese Universities for Global Health(CCUGH)grew from 10 founding members in 2013 to 25 in 2020.Major desirable attributes“unique”to students majoring in global health include global-mindedness,health interests,compassion,intercultural sensitivity,and adventurous spirit.Graduates from GHE programs have a diverse set of career choices spanning research,government,not-for-profit,and private sector occupations.We identified a number of strengths,weaknesses,opportunities,and threats to the future development of GHE in China.To ensure sustainable future growth,we advocate addressing the following key aspects:(1)clearer disciplinary distinctions;(2)multidisciplinary collaborations;(3)public-sector investments;and(4)non-public sectors participation.Amidst China’s increasing engagement in health affairs globally and the proliferation of GHE programs in developed nations,China has experienced fast growth in GHE degree programs since 2012 while a number of challenges remain for its future development.Lixin Sun Duan Zhao Shangzhi Xiong Angela Renne Zhi-Jie Zheng Hao Xiang Xiaokui Guo Kun Tang Yuantao Hao Lijing L.Yan 2021Global Health Journal2021,5,2:0
