| 1 | A Study of the Technique of Western Blot for Diagnosis of Lyme Disease caused by Borrelia afzelii in China显示文摘Objective To study the technique of Western blot for the diagnosis of Lyme disease caused by Borrelia afzelii in China and to establish the standard criteria by operational procedure. Methods FP1, which is the representative strain of B. afzelii in China, was analyzed by SDS‐PAGE, electro transfer and immunoblotting assays. The molecular weights of the protein bands of FP1 were analyzed by Gel‐Pro analysis software. In a study using 451 serum samples (159 patients with Lyme disease and 292 controls), all observed bands were recorded. The accuracy of the WB as a diagnostic test was established by using the ROC curve and Youden index. Results Criteria for a positive diagnosis of Lyme disease were established as at least one band of P83/100, P58, P39, OspB, OspA, P30, P28, OspC, P17, and P14 in the IgG test and at least one band of P83/100, P58, P39, OspA, P30, P28, OspC, P17, and P41 in the IgM test. For IgG criteria, the sensitivity, specificity and Youden index were 69.8%, 98.3%, and 0.681, respectively; for IgM criteria, the sensitivity, specificity and Youden index were 47%, 94.2%, and 0.412, respectively. | 3 | CORONARY ANGIOGRAPHY WITH DUAL SOURCE COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY:INITIAL EXPERIENCE显示文摘Objective To explore the scan technique and image quality of coronary angiography with dual source computed tomography(CT) without oral metoprolol preparation.Methods Plain and enhanced dual source CT coronary angiography without oral metoprolol preparation was prospectively performed in 600 patients.Calcium scoring with plain scan images as well as multi-planar reconstruction(MPR),maximum intensity projection(MIP),and volume rendering technique(VRT) reconstruction with enhanced scan images were performed in all cases.The scan technique and post-reconstruction experience was summarized.The image quality was classified as 1 to 4 points,and coronary segments classified according to the American Heart Association standards were evaluated.Results The average calcium score of the 600 cases was 213.6±298.7(0-3 216.5).The average heart rate of the enhanced scan was 82.1±16.2(47-139) bpm.The post-reconstruction methods with which coronary segments could be shown as best as possible consisted of single phase reconstruction method,two or more phases supplemented method,and electrocardiogram editing method.Altogether 8 457 coronary segments were evaluated,among which 97.2% were evaluated as point 1,1.7% point 2,0.5% point 3,and 0.6% point 4.The coronary segments in 261 cases were completely normal,while 360 segments were diagnosed with <50% stenosis and 625 segments with ≥50% stenosis.Conclusions Excellent coronary artery image can be obtained with dual source CT in patients with any heart rate without oral metoprolol preparation.Heart rate is not a major source of the artifact,coronary segments can be well shown with single or multiple-phase reconstruction method. | Zhu-hua Zhang Zheng-yu Jin Shu-yang Zhang Song-bai Lin Dong-jing Li Ling-yan Kong Yi-ning Wang Lan Song Yun Wang Wen-min Zhao Wen-bin Mou Li-ren Zhang Wen-ling Zhu Qi Miao Qi Fang | 2007 | Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2007,22,4: | 4 |

| 5 | Unsteady Flow and Structural Behaviors of Centrifugal Pump under Cavitation Conditions显示文摘Cavitation has a significant e ect on the flow fields and structural behaviors of a centrifugal pump. In this study, the unsteady flow and structural behaviors of a centrifugal pump are investigated numerically under di erent cavitation conditions. A strong two-way coupling fluid-structure interaction simulation is applied to obtain interior views of the e ects of cavitating bubbles on the flow and structural dynamics of a pump. The renormalization-group k-ε turbulence model and the Zwart–Gerbe–Belamri cavitation model are solved for the fluid side, while a transient structural dynamic analysis is employed for the structure side. The di erent cavitation states are mapped in the head-net positive suction head(H-NPSH) curves and flow field features inside the impeller are fully revealed. Results indicate that cavitating bubbles grow and expand rapidly with decreasing NPSH. In addition, the pressure fluctuations, both in the impeller and volute, are quantitatively analyzed and associated with the cavitation states. It is shown that influence of the cavitation on the flow field is critical, specifically in the super-cavitation state. The e ect of cavitation on the unsteady radial force and blade loads is also discussed. The results indicate that the averaged radial force increased from 8.5 N to 54.4 N in the transition progress from an onset cavitation state to a super-cavitation state. Furthermore, the structural behaviors, including blade deformation, stress, and natural frequencies, corresponding to the cavitation states are discussed. A large volume of cavitating bubbles weakens the fluid forces on the blade and decreases the natural frequencies of the rotor system. | 6 | High Initial Reversible Capacity and Long Life of Ternary SnO_(2)-Co-carbon Nanocomposite Anodes for Lithium-Ion Batteries显示文摘The two major limitations in the application of SnO_2 for lithium?ion battery(LIB) anodes are the large volume variations of SnO_2 during repeated lithiation/delithiation processes and a large irreversible capacity loss during the first cycle, which can lead to a rapid capacity fade and unsatisfactory initial Coulombic e ciency(ICE). To overcome these limitations, we developed composites of ultrafine SnO_2 nanoparticles and in situ formed Co(CoSn) nanocrystals embedded in an N?doped carbon matrix using a Co?based metal–organic framework(ZIF?67). The formed Co additives and structural advantages of the carbon?confined SnO_2/Co nanocomposite e ectively inhibited Sn coarsening in the lithiated SnO_2 and mitigated its structural degradation while facilitating fast electronic transport and facile ionic di usion. As a result, the electrodes demonstrated high ICE (82.2%), outstanding rate capability(~ 800 mAh g^(-1) at a high current density of 5 A g^(-1)), and long?term cycling stability(~ 760 mAh g^(-1) after 400 cycles at a current density of 0.5 A g^(-1)). This study will be helpful in developing high?performance Si(Sn)?based oxide, Sn/Sb?based sulfide, or selenide electrodes for LIBs. | 7 | Unique sandwich design of high-efficiency heat-conducting phosphor-in-glass film for high-quality laser-driven white lighting显示文摘Multi-color phosphor-in-glass(PiG)film has been considered as a promising color converter in high-quality laser lighting owing to its outstanding merits of phosphor versatility,tunable luminescence,and simple preparation.However,the opto-thermal properties of PiG film are severely affected by the photon reabsorption and backward scattering of phosphor structure and the heat conduction of substrate.Herein,a unique sandwich design of phosphor structure was introduced in the multi-color PiG film for high-quality laser lighting.By elaborately synthesizing the borosilicate glass with low glass transition temperature(T_(g)),similar expansion coefficient,and high refractive index(RI),the sandwiched PiGs were prepared by sintering(~600℃)broadband green and red phosphor glass films on the double sides of sapphire.The green and red PiG films were tightly coated on the sapphire with no delamination and maintained higher luminescence intensity than raw phosphors at high temperatures.By simultaneously coupling photon reabsorption and backward scattering,the sandwiched green PiG film-sapphire-red PiG film(G-S-R PiG)yields a high-quality white light with a high luminous efficacy of 163 lm/W and an excellent color rendering index(CRI)of 85.4 under a laser power of 2.4 W,which are the best comprehensive results yet reported.Benefiting from the ingenious sandwich design with heat-conducting sapphire and thin PiG films,the G-S-R PiG displays low working temperatures(<200℃)under high-power laser excitation.This work reveals the role of sandwiched phosphor structure in photon loss and heat dissipation,which provides a new strategy to design PiG films for high-quality laser lighting. | Yang PENG Zikang YU Jiuzhou ZHAO Qing WANG Jiaxin LIU Bo SUN Yun MOU Mingxiang CHEN | 2022 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,12: | 2 |

| 9 | USING OF MULTISLICE HELICAL CT COLONOGRAPHY IN PATIENTS WITH MALIGNANT LESIONS OF COLON显示文摘Objective To investigate the techniques and clinical applications of multislice helical computed tomography (CT) colono- graphy in colonic lesions. Methods Fifty-nine patients with malignant lesions of colon underwent volume scanning using multislice helical CT. Four types of reconstruction including CT virtual colonoscopy (CTVC), shaded surface display (SSD), Raysum, and mu- ltiple planar reconstruction (MPR) were used for image post-processing. The results were compared with those of colonos- copy and pathology. Results Multislice helical CT colonography detected 54 colorectal carcinomas, 4 adenomas with focal carcinoma, 1 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL). The lesions’ number, size, location, morphology, stricture of intestinal cavity, infiltration, and metastasis were shown satisfactorily by multislice helical CT colonography. Whole colon could be shown in all patients. CT colonography displayed 4 synchronous colonic tumors, 1 ascending colon carcinoma combined with left renal carcinoma among 54 patients with colonic carcinomas. The accuracy of location of CT colonography was 100%. There were 9 cases that CT showed the tumor location was different from the finding of conventional colonoscopy, while all of the CT location were proven exact by operation. CT colonography also displayed the infiltration of serous layer and fatty tissue in 45 cases; 21 cases matched the pathological results in all the 24 cases of suspicious lymph node metastasis, the sensitivity was 87.5%, the specificity was 90.6%; 9 cases hepatic metastasis, 2 ovarian metastasis, and 1 double adrenal gland metastasis. Conclusions Multislice helical CT colonography is effective in preoperative diagnosis, location, stage, and making treatment plan of colorectal carcinoma. | 14 | Laser spot associated high-saturation phosphor-in-glass film for transmissive and reflective high-brightness laser lighting显示文摘Phosphor-in-glass(PiG)film is a promising luminescent material in high-brightness laser lighting for its advantages of high efficiency,outstanding color quality,and low-cost preparation,which must bear high laser power(LP)and laser power density(LPD)simultaneously to enable high-luminance light.Herein,laser spot associated high-saturation PiG film was proposed for transmissive and reflective high-brightness laser lighting.Two types of PiG films were prepared by printing and sintering La_(3)Si_(6)N_(11):Ce^(3+)(LSN)phosphor-borosilicate glass pastes on a sapphire substrate(PiG-S)and an AlN substrate(PiG-A),respectively.The PiG films with perfect crystal structure of phosphor were reliably bonded on the substrates.The effects of laser spot areas on the luminescence saturation of LP and LPD were investigated in the PiG films.With the increase of laser spot area from 0.5 to 2.5 mm^(2),the LP threshold of PiG films is gradually raised,while the LPD threshold of PiG films is decreased.The PiG-S withstands a high LP of 23.46 W and a high LPD of 20.64 W/mm^(2),enabling white light with a luminous flux of 3677 lm.The PiG-A withstands a high LP of 41.12 W and a high LPD of 35.56 W/mm^(2),enabling white light with a luminous flux of 2882 lm.Moreover,the PiG-A maintains lower working temperature compared with the PiG-S,and the temperatures reduce with the increasing laser spot area.The results demonstrate that the laser spot associated PiG films realize high saturation thresholds of LP and LPD simultaneously,and enable high luminance for laser lighting. | Zikang Yu Jiuzhou Zhao Qing Wang Yun Mou Mingxiang Chen Yang Peng | 2023 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,9: | 0 |
