1The application of nanostructured transition metal sulfides as anodes for lithium ion batteries显示文摘With wide application of electric vehicles and large-scale in energy storage systems, the requirement of secondary batteries with higher power density and better safety gets urgent. Owing to the merits of high theoretical capacity, relatively low cost and suitable discharge voltage, much attention has been paid to the transition metal sulfides. Recently, a large amount of research papers have reported about the application of transition metal sulfides in lithium ion batteries. However, the practical application of transition metal sulfides is still impeded by their fast capacity fading and poor rate performance. More well-focused researches should be operated towards the commercialization of transition metal sulfides in lithium ion batteries. In this review, recent development of using transition metal sulfides such as copper sulfides,molybdenum sulfides, cobalt sulfides, and iron sulfides as electrode materials for lithium ion batteries is presented. In addition, the electrochemical reaction mechanisms and synthetic strategy of transition metal sulfides are briefly summarized. 3Nature and evolution of the lithospheric mantle revealed by water contents and He-Ar isotopes of peridotite xenoliths from Changbaishan and Longgang basalts in Northeast China显示文摘The nature and evolution of the lithospheric mantle underlying Northeast(NE)China were investigated by assessing the mineral chemistry,water contents,and noble gas(He-Ar)isotopes of peridotite xenoliths captured by Cenozoic basalts from the Changbaishan and Longgang regions.The xenoliths,which have863–1141℃ equilibration temperatures,primarily comprise spinel lherzolites and rare spinel harzburgites.The Mg#(Fo)values of olivine in the peridotite xenoliths vary from 86.9 to 91.3.The clinopyroxenes have high Ti/Eu and low(La/Yb)N,and their chondrite-normalized rare earth elements(REEs)exhibit light REE-depletion to-enrichment patterns,indicating that the mantle underneath the investigated region was predominantly subjected to partial melting(1%–10%)and was metasomatized by silicate melts.The measured3He/4He ratios of the Changbaishan xenoliths have a narrow range from 5.8 Ra to 8.4 Ra with an average of 7.4 Ra.The3He/4He isotopic ratios of the Longgang xenoliths varied from 4.7 Ra to8.1 Ra with an average of 5.9 Ra;slightly lower than the Changbaishan xenoliths.The whole-rock H2Ocontents of the studied peridotite ranged from 9 to 132 ppm.The high H2O contents in excess of50 ppm(up to 132 ppm)might represent newly accreted and cooled asthenospheric materials,while those with H2O contents lower than 50 ppm(as little as 9 ppm)may represent thinned,relic,ancient lithospheric mantle.These geochemical evidences,in combination with published data,indicated that the lithospheric mantle beneath the Changbaishan and Longgang in NE China is dominated by the younger and more fertile lithospheric mantle with a minor ancient and refractory keel.In addition,the lithospheric mantle of this area was metasomatized by melts related to the recent subduction event(e.g.,Pacific oceanic plate).Therefore,the westward-dipping Pacific oceanic plate subduction had an important contribution to the transformation of the lithospheric mantle beneath NE China.Qinghu Xu Jiaqi Liu Huaiyu He Yunhui Zhang 2019Science Bulletin2019,64,18:4
4The Biocontrol Effects of the Bacillus licheniformis W10 Strain and Its Antifungal Protein Against Brown Rot in Peach显示文摘The biocontrol effects of Bacillus licheniformis W10 bacterial suspension and its antifungal protein on peach brown rot caused by Monilinia fructicola in storage peach fruits and the effects on fruit quality were investigated. The results showed that the fruit disease suppression of B. licheniformis W10 bacterial suspension and antifungal protein were significantly higher than that of the control. Inoculation of bacterial suspension and antifungal protein prior to M. fructicola gave a better biocontrol effect, and the higher concentrations of bacterial(1 × 1010 cfu · m L-1) and antifungal protein(3.0 mg · m L-1) performed better control effects. The environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, affected biocontrol effects of W10 bacterial suspension and antifungal protein. The influence of environment conditions on the activity of antifungal protein was less than that on bacterial suspension. Moreover, lower temperature(4 ℃) and relative humidity(RH 70%–75%) were favorable to prevent peach brown rot by W10 bacterial suspension and its antifungal protein. The W10 bacterial suspension and antifungal protein amended with calcium [0.1% Ca(NO3)2] could enhance the biocontrol effects, and obviously put off the occurrence of peach brown rot. In addition, the bacterial suspension and antifungal protein significantly reduced the natural decay rates of peach fruits during storage, and the effects were equal to carbendazim. Moreover, both W10 bacterial suspension and antifungal protein treatments did not have effects on external and internal fruit appearance, such as chromatic aberration parameter L* of flesh, flesh firmness, soluble solids content and weight loss. 5Combination of Ecoprofile and Least-cost Model for Eco-network Planning显示文摘The protecting requirements and functional connectivity of species in isolated habitat patches are crucial factors of eco-network planning.This study aimed to improve the method of eco-network planning for species conservation.Ecoprofiling was used to group the species by similar behavior types,namely,choice of ecosystem,area requirement,and short distance dispersal abilities.A least-cost model was used to simulate the optimal corridor location to maintain functional connectivity.A combination of ecoprofile and least-cost model was hired to develop an eco-network that promoted species conservation.A case study was also conducted in Beijing,China.In addition to the required ecosystem,habitat area is an important parameter for habitat extraction.Habitat area can remove noise habitat patches because of lacking area.Short-distance dispersal can be used to identify corridor requirements and avoid unnecessary building requirements.Species with various dispersal abilities exhibit significant differences in terms of corridor length and location requirement.Habitat isolation is the main threat for weakly mobile species,and habitat loss is the major risk of mobile species protection.Different species groups also exhibit distinct landscape pattern demands for an eco-network,and the eco-network planning based on specific species can not protect other species.We proposed that a combination of ecoprofile and least-cost model improved the efficiency of species conservation by eco-network planning.XIAO He LIU Yunhui YU Zhenrong ZHANG Qian ZHANG Xin 2014Chinese Geographical Science2014,24,1:3

7Simultaneously optimizing pore morphology and enhancing mechanical properties of Al-Si alloy composite foams by graphene nanosheets显示文摘The integrity and regularity of pore morphology play an important role in determining the mechanical properties of the metallic foam materials.The conventional methods on refining pore morphology are mainly focused on the optimization of fabrication techniques,however,they are usually inconvenient and complicated.Recently,incorporating nano reinforcement is considered to be a suitable way to fabricate metallic composite foams accompanied by optimized pore morphology and enhanced mechanical properties.In this work,through a facile and rapid powder metallurgy foaming method,the aluminum-silicon(Al-Si)alloy composite foams reinforced by graphene nanosheets(GNSs)are successfully fabricated.The microstructure analyses reveal that,for the Al-Si alloy foams incorporating the GNSs(GNSs/Al-Si composite foams),the pore size is transformed to be smaller,the pore size distributions become more homogeneous and the pore shape is also refined to a regular and roundish state.Meanwhile,the shape of Si precipitates is found transforming from an irregular long strip(length of~20μm,width of~5μm)to a fine particle state(diameter of~5μm).Moreover,the compressive testing results show that,the 0.4wt%GNSs/Al-Si composite foams own the optimal compression stress of 11.7±0.5 MPa,plateau stress of 10.0±1.0 MPa and energy absorption capacity of 6.8±0.7 MJ/m^(3),which have improvement of 58.1%,53.8%and 51.1%in comparison with the Al-Si alloy foams counterpart,respectively.The present findings may pave a new way for developing new generation of metallic composite foams that with stable microstructure and excellent mechanical performance.Weiting Li Xudong Yang Kunming Yang Chunnian He Junwei Sha Chunsheng Shi Yunhui Mei Jiajun Li Naiqin Zhao 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,6:3
8Compound Danshen Dripping Pill inhibits hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis-induced heart failure in ApoE and LDLR dual deficient mice via multiple mechanisms显示文摘Heart failure is the leading cause of death worldwide.Compound Danshen Dripping Pill(CDDP)or CDDP combined with simvastatin has been widely used to treat patients with myocardial infarction and other cardiovascular diseases in China.However,the effect of CDDP on hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis-induced heart failure is unknown.We constructed a new model of heart failure induced by hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis in apolipoprotein E(ApoE)and LDL receptor(LDLR)dual deficient(ApoE^(–/–)LDLR^(–/–))mice and investigated the effect of CDDP or CDDP plus a low dose of simvastatin on the heart failure.CDDP or CDDP plus a low dose of simvastatin inhibited heart injury by multiple actions including anti-myocardial dysfunction and anti-fibrosis.Mechanistically,both Wnt and lysine-specific demethylase 4A(KDM4A)pathways were significantly activated in mice with heart injury.Conversely,CDDP or CDDP plus a low dose of simvastatin inhibited Wnt pathway by markedly up-regulating expression of Wnt inhibitors.While the anti-inflammation and anti-oxidative stress by CDDP were achieved by inhibiting KDM4A expression and activity.In addition,CDDP attenuated simvastatin-induced myolysis in skeletal muscle.Taken together,our study suggests that CDDP or CDDP plus a low dose of simvastatin can be an effective therapy to reduce hypercholesterolemia/atherosclerosis-induced heart failure.Yanfang Yang Ke Feng Liying Yuan Yuxin Liu Mengying Zhang Kaimin Guo Zequn Yin Wenjia Wang Shuiping Zhou He Sun Kaijing Yan Xijun Yan Xuerui Wang Yajun Duan Yunhui Hu Jihong Han 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,3:2

16Design and Analysis of Microstrip Multi-Channeled Filter Using Photonic Crystal Branchy Defect显示文摘A multi-channeled filter based on branchy defect in a microstrip photonic crystal was proposed. By introducing a branchy structure across the defect region, multiple defect modes will appear inside the photonic gap, leading to the multi-channeled filtering phenomenon. In comparison with the conventional multi-channeled filters, the proposed structure is more compact and tunable as far as the device volume and fabrication are concerned. 17Distress Characteristics in Embankment‑Bridge Transition Section of the Qinghai‑Tibet Railway in Permafrost Regions显示文摘The Qinghai-Tibet Railway has been operating safely for 16 years in the permafrost zone and the railroad subgrade is generally stable by adopting the cooling roadbed techniques.However,settlement caused by the degradation of subgrade permafrost in the embankment-bridge transition sections(EBTS)is one of the most representative and severe distresses.A feld survey on 440 bridges(including 880 EBTSs)was carried out employing terrestrial laser scanning and ground-penetrating radar for comprehensively assessing all EBTSs in the permafrost zone.The results show that the types of distresses of EBTSs were diferential settlement,upheaval mounds of the protection-cone slopes,subsidence of the protection-cone slopes,surface cracks of the protection cones and longitudinal and transverse dislocation of the wing walls.The occurrence rates of these distresses were 78.93,3.47,11.56,3.36,21.18 and 4.56%,respectively.The most serious problem was diferential settlement,and the average diferential settlement amount(ADSA)was 15.3 cm.Furthermore,the relationships between diferential settlement and 11 infuencing factors were examined.The results indicate that ADSA is greater on the northern side of a bridge than on the southern side and on the sunny slope than on the shady slope.It is also greater in the high-temperature permafrost region than in the low-temperature permafrost region and in the high-ice content area than in the low-ice content area.The EBTSs are more infuenced by ice content than by ground temperature.The ADSA increases when the embankment height increases,the particle size of subgrade soil decreases and the surface vegetation cover decreases.Peifeng He Fujun Niu Yunhui Huang Saize Zhang Chenglong Jiao 2023International Journal of Disaster Risk Science2023,14,4:0
18Deletion of large-conductance calcium-activated potassium channels promotes vascular remodelling through the CTRP7-mediated PI3K/Akt signaling pathway显示文摘The large-conductance calcium-activated potassium(BK)channel is a critical regulator and potential therapeutic target of vascular tone and architecture,and abnormal expression or dysfunction of this channel is linked to many vascular diseases.Vascular remodelling is the early pathological basis of severe vascular diseases.Delaying the progression of vascular remodelling can reduce cardiovascular events,but the pathogenesis remains unclear.To clarify the role of BK channels in vascular remodelling,we use rats with BK channelαsubunit knockout(BKα‒/‒).The results show that BKα‒/‒rats have smaller inner and outer diameters,thickened aortic walls,increased fibrosis,and disordered elastic fibers of the aortas compared with WT rats.When the expression and function of BKαare inhibited in human umbilical arterial smooth muscle cells(HUASMCs),the expressions of matrix metalloproteinase 2(MMP2),MMP9,and interleukin-6 are enhanced,while the expressions of smooth muscle cell contractile phenotype proteins are reduced.RNA sequencing,bioinformatics analysis and qPCR verification show that C1q/tumor necrosis factor-related protein 7(CTRP7)is the downstream target gene.Furthermore,except for that of MMPs,a similar pattern of IL-6,smooth muscle cell contractile phenotype proteins expression trend is observed after CTRP7 knockdown.Moreover,knockdown of both BKαand CTRP7 in HUASMCs activates PI3K/Akt signaling.Additionally,CTRP7 is expressed in vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs),and BKαdeficiency activates the PI3K/Akt pathway by reducing CTRP7 level.Therefore,we first show that BK channel deficiency leads to vascular remodelling.The BK channel and CTRP7 may serve as potential targets for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.Jing Bi Yanru Duan Meili Wang Chunyu He Xiaoyue Li Xi Zhang Yan Tao Yunhui Du Huirong Liu 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,12:0
19Characterization of a Novel Esterase Belonging to Family V from Marinobacter flavimaris显示文摘Lipolytic enzymes have attracted enormous attentions because of their ability in ester hydrolysis,ester synthesis,transesterification and other biochemical reactions.Bacteria are important sources of lipolytic enzymes applied in industry.Here,a novel lipolytic enzyme encoded by esterase gene est1347 was identified in Marinobacter flavimaris WLL162,and was purified and characterized.The lipolytic enzyme Est1347 consisted of 312 amino acid residues and a 21-amino-acids N-terminal signal peptide with a predicted molecular weight of 34.2 kDa.It belongs to family V of bacterial lipolytic enzymes based on the amino acid sequence homology analysis.Est1347 is a mesophilic and alkali-resistant enzyme with the highest activity at 45℃and pH 8.5;it is stable at temperatures below 50℃and pH 7.5–11.0.Est1347 showed a preference for middle-length chain substrate p-NPC10 and a wide range of other substrates.The Km,Vmax,Kcat and Kcat/Km values of Est1347 for p-NPC10 in pH 8.5 at 45℃were 0.9411 mmol L^(−1),1285μmol min^(−1)mg^(−1),698.91 s^(−1)and 743.65 s^(−1)(mmol L^(−1))^(−1),respectively.It is also tolerant to the metal ions,organic solvents and detergents.In conclusion,the esterase Est1347 laid a foundation for further study of bacterial lipolytic enzyme family V.HE Jingjing ZHANG Yunhui WU Leilei WANG Yaru ZHANG He LIU Zhengang SHI Xiaochong 2024Journal of Ocean University of China2024,23,1:0
20Construction and application of L929 cell model expressing human bcl-2 protein显示文摘Recombinant eucaryotic expression vector pLXSN/s-bcl-2 has been constructed by cloning human bcl-2 cDNA containing the full-length open reading frame into the vector pLXSN in sense orientation, and a mammalian cell model expressing human bcl-2 protein has been established by electroporating the recombinant vector into mouse L929 cells. bcl-2 expression in L929 cells has no effect on the cell growth and survival under normal culture conditions, but it can enhance the survival of the cell in the challenge of some apoptosis-inducing stimuli, including tumor necrosis factor α(TNF α) and staurosporine (STS).Fengtian He Xihua Zhu Yunhui Huang 1999Chinese Science Bulletin1999,44,12:0
