Ultraviolet-to-microwave room-temperature photodetectors based on three-dimensional graphene foams显示文摘Highly sensitive broadband photodetection is of critical importance for many applications. However,it is a great challenge to realize broadband photodetection by using a single device. Here we report photodetectors(PDs)based on three-dimensional(3 D)graphene foam(GF)photodiodes with asymmetric electrodes, which show an ultra-broadband photoresponse from ultraviolet to microwave for wavelengths ranging from 10~2 to 10~6 nm.Moreover, the devices exhibit a high photoresponsivity of 10~3 A·W^-1,short response time of 43 ms,and3 d B bandwidth of 80 Hz.The high performance of the devices can be attributed to the photothermoelectric(PTE,also known as the Seebeck)effect in 3 D GF photodiodes. The excellent optical, thermal, and electrical properties of 3 D GFs offer a superior basis for the fabrication of PTE-based PDs.This work paves the way to realize ultra-broadband and high-sensitivity PDs operated at room temperature. | YIFAN LI YATING ZHANG YU YU ZHILIANG CHEN QINGYAN LI TENGTENG LI JIE LI HONGLIANG ZHAO QUAN SHENG FENG YAN ZHEN GE YUXIN REN YONGSHENG CHEN JIANQUAN YAO | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,3: | 4
Transcriptome dynamics of hippocampal neurogenesis in macaques across the lifespan and aged humans显示文摘Whether adult hippocampal neurogenesis(AHN)persists in adult and aged humans continues to be extensively debated.A major question is whether the markers identified in rodents are reliable enough to reveal new neurons and the neurogenic trajectory in primates. Here,to provide a better understanding of AHN in primates and to reveal more novel markers for distinct cell types,droplet-based single-nucleus RNA sequencing(snRNA-seq)is used to investigate the cellular heterogeneity and molecular characteristics of the hippocampi in macaques across the lifespan and in aged humans. All of the major cell types in the hippocampus and their expression profiles were identified. The dynamics of the neurogenic lineage was revealed and the diversity of astrocytes and microglia was delineated. In the neurogenic lineage, the regulatory continuum from adult neural stem cells(NSCs)to immature and mature granule cells was investigated.A group of primate-specific markers were identified. We validated ETNPPL as a primate-specific NSC marker and verified STMN1 and STMN2 as immature neuron markers in primates.Furthermore,we illustrate a cluster of active astrocytes and microglia exhibiting proinflammatory responses in aged samples. The interaction analysis and the comparative investigation on published datasets and ours imply that astrocytes provide signals inducing the proliferation, quiescence and inflammation of adult NSCs at different stages and that the proinflammatory status of astrocytes probably contributes to the decrease and variability of AHN in adults and elderly individuals. | Wei Wang Mengdi Wang Meng Yang Bo Zeng Wenying Qiu Qiang Ma Xiaoxi Jing Qianqian Zhang Bosong Wang Chonghai Yin Jiyao Zhang Yuxin Ge Yufeng Lu Weizhi Ji Qian Wu Chao Ma Xiaoqun Wang | 2022 | Cell Research2022,32,8: | 2
Realizing the highly reversible Zn^(2+)and Na^(+) dual ions storage in high-crystallinity nickel hexacyanoferrate microcubes for aqueous zinc-ion batteries显示文摘Prussian blue analogues(PBAs)with the 3D open framework are regarded as promising cathode candidates for aqueous Zinc ion batteries(ZIBs).Among various PBAs,nickel hexacyanoferrate(NiHCF)has attracted considerable attention because of its high operating voltage and economic merit. However, the cyclability of NiHCF is unsatisfactory due to poor structural stability during Zn^(2+) ions insertion/deinsertion.Moreover,the ion storage mechanism of NiHCF in aqueous electrolytes has not been fully revealed yet.Herein,high-crystallinity NiHCF(HC-NiHCF)microcubes with improved structural stability and larger crystal plane spacing are synthesized. For the first time, highly reversible Zn2+ions and Na+ions co-insertion/extraction are achieved for the HC-NiHCF microcubes in mixed aqueous electrolyte,as evidenced by various observations including two separated discharge plateaus and sequential changes of Na 1s and Zn 2p signals in ex-situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).As a result,a high specific capacity of 73.9 mAh g^(−1) is obtained for the HC-NiHCF microcubes at 0.1 A g−1,combined with enhanced cycle stability(75%vs.16.4%)over 1000 cycles at 2 A g^(−1).The reversible Zn^(2+) ions and Na+ions co-insertion in HC-NiHCF microcubes reveals a new ion storage mechanism of Ni-based PBAs in aqueous electrolytes. | Kexuan Wang Zhu Xu Heng Li Huibo Wang Mingzheng Ge Jilei Liu Shengwen Li Zekun Hu Mengyu Zhu Yanyan Zhang Yuxin Tang Shi Chen | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,33: | 1

Novel insight into RNA modifications in tumor immunity:Promising targets to prevent tumor immune escape显示文摘An immunosuppressive state is a typical feature of the tumor microenvironment.Despite the dramatic success of immune checkpoint inhibitor(ICI)therapy in preventing tumor cell escape from immune surveillance, primary and acquired resistance have limited its clinical use.Notably, recent clinical trials have shown that epigenetic drugs can significantly improve the outcome of ICI therapy in various cancers, indicating the importance of epigenetic modifications in immune regulation of tumors. | Yuxin Kong Jie Yu Shengfang Ge Xianqun Fan | 2023 | The Innovation2023,4,4: | 0
TBC1D15 deficiency protects against doxorubicin cardiotoxicity via inhibiting DNAPKcs cytosolic retention and DNA damage显示文摘Clinical application of doxorubicin(DOX)is heavily hindered by DOX cardiotoxicity.Several theories were postulated for DOX cardiotoxicity including DNA damage and DNA damage response(DDR),although the mechanism(s)involved remains to be elucidated. This study evaluated the potential role of TBC domain family member 15(TBC1D15)in DOX cardiotoxicity.Tamoxifen-induced cardiac-specific Tbcldi5 knockout(Tbcldi5^(CKO))or Tbcldi5 knockin(Tbcldi5^(CKI))male mice were challenged with a single dose of DOx prior to cardiac assessment 1 week or 4 weeks following DOX challenge.Adenoviruses encoding TBC1D15 or containing shRNA targeting Tbcld15 were used for Tbcld15 overexpression or knockdown in isolated primary mouse cardiomyocytes. Our results re-vealed that DOX evoked upregulation of TBC1D15 with compromised myocardial function and overt mortality, the effects of which were ameliorated and accentuated by Tbcldi5 deletion and Tbcld15 overexpression, respectively.DOX overtly evoked apoptotic cell death, the effect of which was alleviated and exacerbated by Tbcld15 knockout and overexpression, respectively.Meanwhile,DOX provoked mitochondrial membrane potential collapse, oxidative stress and DNA damage, the effects of which were mitigated and exacerbated by Tbcld15 knockdown and overexpression, respectively.Further scrutiny revealed that TBC1D15 fostered cytosolic accumulation of the cardinal DDR element DNA-dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit(DNA-PKcs).Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry and coimmunoprecipitation denoted an interaction between TBCID15 and DNA-PKcs at the segment 594-624 of TBC1D15.Moreover,overexpression of TBC1D15 mutant(A594-624,deletion of segment 594-624)failed to elicit accentuation of DOX-induced cytosolic retention of DNA-PKcs,DNA damage and cardiomyocyte apoptosis by TBC1D15 wild type.However,Tbcld15 deletion ameliorated DOXinduced cardiomyocyte contractile anomalies, apoptosis, mitochondrial anomalies,DNA damage and cytosolic DNA-PKcs accumulation, which were canceled off by DNA-PKcs inhibition or ATM activation.Taken together, our findings denoted a pivotal role for TBCID15 in DOX-induced DNA damage, mitochondrial injury, and apoptosis possibly through binding with DNA-PKcs and thus gate-keeping its cytosolic retention,a route to accentuation of cardiac contractile dysfunction in DOX-induced cardiotoxicity. | Wenjun Yu Haixia Xu Zhe Sun Yuxin Du Shiqun Sun Miyesaier Abudureyimu Mengjiao Zhang Jun Tao Junbo Ge Jun Ren Yingmei Zhang | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,12: | 0
Prognostic prediction and expression validation of NSD3 in pan-cancer analyses显示文摘Background:Nuclear receptor binding SET domain protein-3(NSD3)is a histone lysine methyltransferase and a crucial regulator of carcinogenesis in several cancers. We aimed to investigate the prognostic value and potential function of NSD3 in 33 types of human cancer. Methods:The data were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas.Kaplan-Meier analysis,CIBERSORT,gene set enrichment analysis, and gene set variation analysis were performed. The expression of NSD3 was measured using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and western blot. Results:The expression of NSD3 was altered in pan-cancer samples.Patients with higher levels of NDS3 generally had shorter overall survival and disease-specific survival.Levels of NSD3 were positively correlated with DNA copy number variation(CNV)in pan-cancer.NSD3 expression was also associated with tumor mutation burden and microsatellite instability. The levels of immune-cell infiltration differed significantly between high and low NSD3 expression.NSD3 negatively correlated with levels of CD8+T cells.Functional enrichment analysis showed that while NSD3 expression was positively associated with several immune cell-related and histone methylation-related pathways,it was negatively correlated with cell metabolism-related,drug transport-related,and drug metabolismrelated pathways.NSD3 levels in the cell lines tested were significantly different. In U251 and NCI-H23 cells, silencing NSD3 inhibited cell proliferation and promoted apoptosis.Conclusions:NSD3 expression was changed in pan-cancer samples that was also verified in cell lines.NSD3 was associated with CNV and immune-cell infiltration.A poor prognosis was predicted in patients with high expression of NSD3.NSD3 might hence be a potential marker for predicting tumor prognosis. | SHA LI YAQIONG LIU CHAOLING YAO ANJI XU XIAOLING ZENG YUXIN GE XIAOWU SHENG HAILIN ZHANG XIAO ZHOU YING LONG | 2023 | BIOCELL2023,47,5: | 0
Nature-inspired materials and designs for flexible lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Flexible lithium-ion batteries(FLBs)are of critical importance to the seamless power supply of flexible and wearable electronic devices. However, the simultaneous acquirements of mechanical deformability and high energy density remain a major challenge for FLBs.Through billions of years of evolutions, many plants and animals have developed unique compositional and structural characteristics, which enable them to have both high mechanical deformability and robustness to cope with the complex and stressful environment.Inspired by nature, many new materials and designs emerge recently to achieve mechanically flexible and high storage capacity of lithiumion batteries at the same time. Here,we summarize these novel FLBs inspired by natural and biological materials and designs. We first give a brief introduction to the fundamentals and challenges of FLBs.Then,we highlight the latest achievements based on nature inspiration, including fiber-shaped FLBs,origami and kirigami-derived FLBs,and the nature-inspired structural designs in FLBs.Finally,we discuss the current status, remaining challenges, and future opportunities for the development of FLBs.This concise yet focused review highlights current inspirations in FLBs and wishes to broaden our view of FLB materials and designs, which can be directly“borrowed”from nature. | Heng Li Huibo Wang Dan Chan Zhu Xu Kexuan Wang Mingzheng Ge Yanyan Zhang Shi Chen Yuxin Tang | 2022 | Carbon Energy2022,4,5: | 0

Allotetraploidization event of Coptis chinensis shared by all Ranunculales显示文摘Coptis chinensis Franch.,also named Chinese goldthread is a member of Ranunculaceae in the order Ranunculales and represents an important lineage of early eudicots with traditional medicinal value. In our study,by using syntenic analysis combined with phylogenomic analysis of C.chinensis and four other representative genomes from basal and core eudicots,we confirmed that the WGD event in C.chinensis was shared by Aquilegia coerulea and Papaver somniferum L.and quickly occurred after Ranunculales diverged from other eudicots, likely a Ranunculales common tetraploidization(RCT).The synonymous nucleotide substitutions at synonymous sites distribution of syntenic blocks across these genomes showed that the evolutionary rate of the P.somniferum genome is faster than that of the C.chinensis genome by approximately 13.7%,possibly due to Papaveraceaes having an additional special tetraploidization event(PST).After Ks correction, the RCT dated to 115—130 million years ago(MYA),which was close to the divergence of Ranunculaceaes and Papaveraceaes approximately115.45—130.51 MYA.Moreover,we identified homologous genes related to polyploidization and speciation and constructed multiple sequence alignments with different reference genomes.Notably, the event-related subgenomes in the basal genomes all showed genomic fractionation bias, suggesting a likely allopolyploid nature of the RCT,PST and T-Alpha and T-Beta events in Tetracentron sinense. In addition,we detected that the sixteen P450 subfamilies were markedly expanded in the genomes of Ranunculales, and most of them were related to the RCT and PST events. We constructed a new platform for Early Eudicot Comparative Genomic Research(http://www.cgrpoee.top/index.html)to store more information. In summary, our findings support the WGD of C.chinensis shared by Ranunculales, which is likely an allotetraploidization event. This present effort offered new insights into the evolution of key polyploidization events and the genes related to secondary metabolites during the diversification of early eudicots. | Yan Zhang Weina Ge Jia Teng Yanmei Yang Jianyu Wang Zijian Yu Jiaqi Wang Qimeng Xiao Junxin Zhao Shaoqi Shen Yishan Feng Shoutong Bao Yu Li Yuxian Li Tianyu Lei Yuxin Pan Lan Zhang Jinpeng Wang | 2024 | Horticultural Plant Journal2024,10,1: | 0
Technoeconomically competitive four-terminal perovskite/graphenesilicon tandem solar cells with over 20% efficiency显示文摘Perovskite/Silicon(PS) tandem solar cells have attracted much interest over recent years. However, the most popular crystalline silicon solar cells utilized in tandems require complicated fabrication processes mainly including texturization, diffusion, passivation and metallization, which takes up much cost in photovoltaic market. Here, we report a facile graphene/silicon(Gr/Si) solar cell featuring of lowtemperature( 200 °C) processing and an efficiency of 13.56%. For reducing the heat dissipation loss of high energy photon, the perovskite solar cell(PSC) with a wide band gap of 1.76 e V was adopted as the top cell for the tandem. To reduce the loss of parasitic absorption in hole transport layers(HTLs),thickness of Spiro-OMe TAD is re-optimized by compromising the efficiency and the optical transmittance of the devices. As a result, the semitransparent top perovskite solar cell yields a highest efficiency of13.35%. Furthermore, we firstly achieved a low-temperature-processed four-terminal(4-T) perovskite/graphene-silicon(PGS) heterojunction tandem solar cell with the efficiency of 20.37%. The levelized cost of electricity(LCOE) of PGS 4-T modules were estimated to a competitive price, exhibiting much greater potential for practical application compared to that of PS 4-T modules. | Pengjie Hang Jingkun Cong Ge Li Lijian Zuo Chenxia Kan Biao Li Jiangsheng Xie Yuxin Yao Ying Wang Hongzheng Chen Deren Yang Xuegong Yu | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,12: | 0
