1BMP-IHH-mediated interplay between mesenchymal stem cells and osteoclasts supports calvarial bone homeostasis and repair显示文摘Calvarial bones are connected by fibrous sutures. These sutures provide a niche environment that includes mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs), osteoblasts, and osteoclasts, which help maintain calvarial bone homeostasis and repair. Abnormal function of osteogenic cells or diminished MSCs within the cranial suture can lead to skull defects, such as craniosynostosis. Despite the important function of each of these cell types within the cranial suture, we have limited knowledge about the role that crosstalk between them may play in regulating calvarial bone homeostasis and injury repair. Here we show that suture MSCs give rise to osteoprogenitors that show active bone morphogenetic protein(BMP) signalling and depend on BMP-mediated Indian hedgehog(IHH) signalling to balance osteogenesis and osteoclastogenesis activity. IHH signalling and receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-Β ligand(RANKL) may function synergistically to promote the differentiation and resorption activity of osteoclasts. Loss of Bmpr1a in MSCs leads to downregulation of hedgehog(Hh) signalling and diminished cranial sutures. Significantly, activation of Hh signalling partially restores suture morphology in Bmpr1a mutant mice, suggesting the functional importance of BMP-mediated Hh signalling in regulating suture tissue homeostasis. Furthermore, there is an increased number of CD200+ cells in Bmpr1a mutant mice, which may also contribute to the inhibited osteoclast activity in the sutures of mutant mice. Finally, suture MSCs require BMPmediated Hh signalling during the repair of calvarial bone defects after injury. 4SMER:a secure method of exchanging resources in heterogeneous internet of things显示文摘The number of IoT(internet of things)connected devices increases rapidly.These devices have different operation systems and therefore cannot communicate with each other.As a result,the data they collected is limited within their own platform.Besides,IoT devices have very constrained resources like weak MCU(micro control unit)and limited storage.Therefore,they need direct communication method to cooperate with each other,or with the help of nearby devices with rich resources.In this paper,we propose a secure method to exchange resources(SMER)between heterogeneous IoT devices.In order to exchange resources among devices,SMER adopts a compensable mechanism for resource exchange and a series of security mechanisms to ensure the security of resource exchanges.Besides,SMER uses a smart contract based scheme to supervise resource exchange,which guarantees the safety and benefits of IoT devices.We also introduce a prototype system and make a comprehensive discussion.Yu ZHANG Yuxing HAN Jiangtao WEN 2019Frontiers of Computer Science2019,13,6:2

13Flexible Large-Area Graphene Films of 50-600 nm Thickness with High Carrier Mobility显示文摘Bulk graphene nanofilms feature fast electronic and phonon transport in combination with strong light-matter interaction and thus have great potential for versatile applications,spanning from photonic,electronic,and optoelectronic devices to charge-stripping and electromagnetic shielding,etc.However,large-area flexible close-stacked graphene nanofilms with a wide thickness range have yet to be reported.Here,we report a polyacrylonitrile-assisted’substrate replacement’strategy to fabricate large-area free-standing graphene oxide/polyacrylonitrile nanofilms(lateral size~20 cm).Linear polyacrylonitrile chains-derived nanochannels promote the escape of gases and enable macro-assembled graphene nanofilms(nMAGs)of 50-600 nm thickness following heat treatment at 3,000℃.The uniform nMAGs exhibit 802-1,540 cm^(2)V-1s-1carrier mobility,4.3-4.7 ps carrier lifetime,and>1,581 W m^(-1)K^(-1)thermal conductivity(n MAG-assembled 10μm-thick films,mMAGs).nMAGs are highly flexible and show no structure damage even after 1.0×10^(5)cycles of folding-unfolding.Furthermore,n MAGs broaden the detection region of graphene/silicon heterojunction from near-infrared to mid-infrared and demonstrate higher absolute electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding effectiveness than state-of-the-art EMI materials of the same thickness.These results are expected to lead to the broad applications of such bulk nanofilms,especially as micro/nanoelectronic and optoelectronic platforms.Shiyu Luo Li Peng Yangsu Xie Xiaoxue Cao Xiao Wang Xiaoting Liu Tingting Chen Zhanpo Han Peidong Fan Haiyan Sun Ying Shen Fan Guo Yuxing Xia Kaiwen Li Xin Ming Chao Gao 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,5:1

18Experimental Study on Thermal Performance of FLNG Spiral Wound Heat Exchanger under Sloshing Conditions显示文摘The FLNG spiral wound heat exchanger(SWHE) is affected by the sea conditions, which leads to more complex flow process and decrease the heat transfer performance of the heat exchanger. In order to study the thermal performance of FLNG SWHE under heaving and swaying conditions, the experimental devices of FLNG SWHE and six-DOF(degree of freedom) sloshing platform were built. The effects of heaving and swaying motions on the pressure drop and heat transfer characteristics were analyzed at different sloshing amplitudes. The results showed that the heaving and swaying motions can cause the temperature rise and pressure fluctuation of SWHE, especially for swaying. The effect of sloshing on the heat transfer performance at the top of SWHE was greater than bottom. 19Numerical Study of Heat Transfer Characteristic for Subcooled Falling Film outside the Shaped Tubes under Rolling Motion显示文摘The heat transfer performance of spiral wound heat exchanger used in the floating liquefied natural gas(FLNG)may be significantly affected by the sloshing conditions.In this paper,a three-dimensional numerical model combined with the dynamic mesh technology is conducted to study subcooled falling film heat transfer under static and sloshing conditions.The three-dimensional velocity distribution of the liquid film on the shell side is observed.The effects of cross-section shape of heat exchange tubes,Reynolds numbers and sloshing parameters on heat transfer characteristics are analyzed.The results indicate that the heat transfer performance of the egg-shaped tube is superior to that of the elliptical and circular tube under both static and sloshing conditions due to significant heat transfer improvement in the lower half of the tube.The heat transfer coefficients of three different kinds of tubes decrease under sloshing conditions.When the rolling amplitude is 6°,the average heat transfer coefficients of the circular tube,elliptical tube and egg-shaped tube are reduced by 2.1%,3.7%and 4.9%respectively.Under the current sloshing parameters,increasing the rolling amplitude,the heat transfer coefficients of three different tubes are slightly increased,while the sloshing period has little effect on heat transfer.The egg-shaped tube and elliptical tube are greatly affected by sloshing motion at the low Reynolds number,while the effect is relatively small at the high Reynolds number.HAN Hui WANG Junqi WANG Shaowei LI Yuxing 2023Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,3:0
20The molecular epidemiological study of colistin-only-sensitive strains in multi-drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii显示文摘This paper reported the epidemiology of the colistin-only-sensitive Acinetobacter baumannii(COS-AB)in a tertiary teaching hospital in China.We analyzed the clinical data of 136 COS-AB isolates from June 2004 to May 2005 and collected 66 A.baumannii isolates in which 33 strains were COS-AB,and the rest were non-COS-AB.Random amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD)analysis(primer ERIC2 and 272)showed that all COS-AB were identical,while pulsed-field gel electrophotesis(PFGE)analysis showed two separate genotypes of these COS-AB which were distinctly different from that of non-COS-AB.The COS-AB from burn wards showed the identical PFGE pattern which was distinguished from the genotype of COS-AB in other departments,mainly surgical systems.The cross-infection was severe and strict methods of disinfection and sterilization should be implemented.Meanwhile,the epidemiology of COS-AB in environment and patients should be closely monitored.The PFGE analysis is a reliable method of A.baumannii typing.YANG Li HAN Lizhong SUN Jingyong YU Yunsong NI Yuxing 2007Frontiers of Medicine2007,1,4:0
