| 1 | Ten cities cross-sectional questionnaire survey of children asthma and other allergies in China显示文摘Asthma,rhinitis and eczema(allergic or non-allergic)have increased throughout the world during the last decades,especially among children.Changes in the indoor environment are suspected to be important causes.China has experienced a dramatic change in indoor environmental exposures during the past two decades.However,such changes and their associations with children’s asthma and other health aspects have not been thoroughly studied.China,Children,Homes,Health(CCHH),Phase I,was a cross-sectional questionnaire survey of 48219 children 1–8 years old in 10 Chinese cities during 2010–2012.The questionnaire includes the International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood(ISAAC)core health questions and additional questions regarding housing,life habits and outdoor environment.In health analyses,children aged 3–6 years old were included.The prevalences of doctor diagnosed asthma varied from 1.7%to 9.8%(mean 6.8%),a large increase from 0.91%in 1999 and 1.50%in2000.The prevalence of wheeze,rhinitis and atopic eczema(last 12 months)varied from 13.9%to 23.7%,24.0%to 50.8%and4.8%to 15.8%,respectively.Taiyuan had the lowest prevalences of all illnesses and Shanghai the highest,except for wheezewhere the highest value was for Urumqi.We found(1)no obvious association between disease prevalences and ambient PM10concentrations and(2)higher prevalences of disease in humid climates with hot summers and cold winters,but with no centrally heated buildings.Associations between the diseases and economic status as indexed by Gross Domestic Product(GDP)requires further study. | ZHANG YinPing LI BaiZhan HUANG Chen YANG Xu QIAN Hua DENG QiHong ZHAO ZhuoHui LI AnGui ZHAO JiaNing ZHANG Xin QU Fang HU Yu YANG Qin WANG Juan ZHANG Ming WANG Fang ZHENG XiaoHong LU Chan LIU ZhiJian SUN YueXia MO JinHan ZHAO YiLi LIU Wei WANG TingTing NORBCK Dan BORNEHAG Carl-Gustaf SUNDELL Jan | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,34: | 22 |

| 3 | First six months quality assessment of HY-2A SCAT wind products using in situ measurements显示文摘The first Chinese microwave ocean environment satellite HY-2A,carrying a Ku-band scatteromenter(SCAT),was successfully launched in August 2011.The first quality assessment of HY-2A SCAT wind products is presented through the comparison of the first 6 months operationally released SCAT products with in situ data.The in situ winds from the National Data Buoy Center(NDBC)buoys,R/V Polarstern,Aurora Australis,Roger Revelle and PY30-1 oil platform,were converted to the 10 m equivalent neutral winds.The temporal and spatial differences between the HY-2A SCAT and the in situ observations were limited to less than 5min and 12.5 km.For HY-2A SCAT wind speed products,the comparison and analysis using the NDBC buoys yield a bias of–0.49 m/s,a root mean square error(RMSE)of 1.3 m/s and an increase negative bias with increasing wind speed observation above 3 m/s.Although less accurate of HY-2A SCAT wind direction at low winds,the RMSE of 19.19 with a bias of 0.92 is found for wind speeds higher than 3 m/s.These results are found consistent with those from R/Vs and oil platform comparisons.Moreover,the NDBC buoy comparison results also suggest that the accuracy of HY-2A SCAT winds is consistent over the first half year of 2012.The encouraging assessment results over the first 6 months show that wind products from HY-2A SCAT will be useful for scientific community. | WANG He ZHU Jianhua LIN Mingsen HUANG Xiaoqi ZHAO Yili CHEN Chuntao ZHANG Youguang PENG Hailong | 2013 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,11: | 10 |
| 4 | Determination of interface width value in phase-field simulation of dendritic growth into undercooled melt显示文摘The influence of the interface width value on the simulation results and its dependence upon thermo-physical parameters in the phase-field simulation of dendritic growth into undercooled melt are investigated. After choosing the reasonable interface width value, the tip velocities of dendritic growth in Ni melt under different undercoolings are calculated and compared with the experimental data in order to benchmark our results. It is shown that the reasonable interface width value, which is determined by the undercooling, anisotropy, interface kinetic, and thermal diffusivity, has to be taken low enough, and the agreement of our results with experimental data verifies that the credible results can be achieved as long as the interface width value is adequately low. | 6 | Absolute calibration of HY-2A and Jason-2 altimeters for sea surface height using GPS buoy in Qinglan, China显示文摘GPS buoy methodology is one of the main calibration methodologies for altimeter sea surface height calibration. This study introduces the results of the Qinglan calibration campaign for the HY-2A and Jason-2 altimeters. It took place in two time slices;one was from August to September 2014, and the other was in July 2015. One GPS buoy and two GPS reference stations were used in this campaign. The GPS data were processed using the real-time kinematic (RTK) technique. The fi nal error budget estimate when measuring the sea surface height (SSH) with a GPS buoy was better than 3.5 cm. Using the GPS buoy, the altimeter bias estimate was about -2.3 cm for the Jason-2 Geophysical Data Record (GDR) Version ‘D' and from -53.5 cm to -75.6 cm for the HY-2A Interim Geophysical Data Record (IGDR). The bias estimates for Jason-2 GDR-D are similar to the estimates from dedicated calibration sites such as the Harvest Platform, the Crete Site and the Bass Strait site. The bias estimates for HY-2A IGDR agree well with the results from the Crete calibration site. | 8 | A preliminary assessment of the sea surface wind speed production of HY-2 scanning microwave radiometer显示文摘A scanning microwave radiometer(RM)was launched on August 16,2011,on board HY-2 satellite.The six-month long global sea surface wind speeds observed by the HY-2 scanning microwave radiometer are preliminarily validated using in-situ measurements and WindSat observations,respectively,from January to June 2012.The wind speed root-mean-square(RMS)difference of the comparisons with in-situ data is1.89 m/s for the measurements of NDBC and 1.72 m/s for the recent four-month data measured by PY30-1oil platform,respectively.On a global scale,the wind speeds of HY-2 RM are compared with the sea surface wind speeds derived from WindSat,the RMS difference of 1.85 m/s for HY-2 RM collocated observations data set is calculated in the same period as above.With analyzing the global map of a mean difference between HY-2 RM and WindSat,it appears that the bias of the sea surface wind speed is obviously higher in the inshore regions.In the open sea,there is a relatively higher positive bias in the mid-latitude regions due to the overestimation of wind speed observations,while the wind speeds are underestimated in the Southern Ocean by HY-2 RM relative to WindSat observations. | HUANG Xiaoqi ZHU Jianhua LIN Mingsen ZHAO Yili WANG He CHEN Chuntao PENG Hailong ZHANG Youguang | 2014 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2014,33,1: | 4 |
| 9 | Home risk factors for childhood pneumonia in Nanjing, China显示文摘Pneumonia is a major cause of childhood morbidity in China.Many studies of rural areas have found an association between pneumonia and air pollution from burning of bio-mass.The present study is of children living in urban,modern homes without burning of bio-mass.In order to investigate potential home risk factors associated with children’s pneumonia,China Child Home Health(CCHH)questionnaires were randomly distributed to parents of 6461 children in 23 kindergartens in all 11 districts of Nanjing,covering urban,suburban,and industrial areas.The 4014 valid questionnaires(response rate 65.7%)were returned and have been analyzed.The lifetime incidence of pneumonia in Nanjing children 1–8 years old is 26.7%.The incidence of croup,asthma and frequent common colds was strongly associated with pneumonia,as was a history of allergies in the family,and persons other than parents(for example grandparents or nanny)taking care of the child.Several home environmental factors,namely,dampness,lack of ventilation,using coal or natural gas(electricity as reference)for cooking,new furniture,and'modern'floor and wall covering materials were also significantly associated with pneumonia.The indoor environment typical of modern apartments in China was a risk factor for pneumonia among children. | ZHENG XiaoHong QIAN Hua ZHAO YiLi SHEN HongPing ZHAO ZhuoHui SUN YueXia SUNDELL Jan | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,34: | 3 |
| 10 | Verification and recalibration of HY-2A microwave radiometer brightness temperature显示文摘HY-2A is the first one of the Chinese HY-2 ocean satellite series carrying a microwave radiometer(RM)to measure sea surface temperature,sea surface wind speed,atmospheric water vapor,cloud liquid water content,and rain rate.We verified the RM level 1B brightness temperature(T B)to retrieve environmental parameters.In the verification,TB that simulated using the ocean-atmosphere radiative transfer model(RTM)was used as a reference.The total bias and total standard deviation(SD)of the RM level 1B TB,with reference to the RTM simulation,ranged-20.6-4.38 K and 0.7-2.93 K,respectively.We found that both the total bias and the total SD depend on the frequency and polarization,although the values for ascending and descending passes are different.In addition,substantial seasonal variation of the bias was found at all channels.The verification results indicate the RM has some problems regarding calibration,e.g.,correction of antenna spillover and antenna physical emission,especially for the 18.7-GHz channel.Based on error analyses,a statistical recalibration algorithm was designed and recalibration was performed for the RM level 1B TB.Validation of the recalibrated TB indicated that the quality of the recalibrated RM level 1B TB was improved significantly.The bias of the recalibrated T B at all channels was reduced to<0.4 K,seasonal variation was almost eradicated,and SD was diminished(i.e.,the SD of the 18.7-GHz channel was reduced by more than 0.5K). | ZHAO Yili LI Huimin CHEN Chuntao ZHU Jianhua | 2019 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,3: | 2 |
| 11 | In vivo urinary compatibility of Mg-Sr-Ag alloy in swine model显示文摘A biodegradable metallic ureteral stent with suitable mechanical properties and antibacterial activity remains a challenge.Here we reveal the scientific significance of a biodegradable Mg-Sr-Ag alloy with a favorable combination of balanced mechanical properties,adjustable indwelling time in urinary tract and evident antibacterial activity via in vivo experiments in a swine model.Attributed to the rheo-solidification process,equiaxial microstructure and significantly refined grains(average grain size:27.1μm)were achieved.Mg17Sr2 and Mg4Ag were found as the primary precipitates in the matrix,due to which the alloy obtained ca.111%increase in ultimate tensile strength in comparison to pure magnesium.Both the in vitro and in vivo results demonstrated the satisfactory biocompatibility of the alloy.Histological evaluation and bioindicators analysis suggested that there was no tissue damage,inflammation and lesions in the urinary system caused by the degradation process.The stent also improved the post-operative bladder functions viewed from the urodynamic results.Our findings highlight the potential of this alloy as antibacterial biodegradable urinary implant material. | Di Tie Norbert Hort Minfang Chen Renguo Guan Sviatlana Ulasevich Ekaterina V.Skorb Dapeng Zhao Yili Liu Patricia Holt-Torres Huinan Liu | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,1: | 2 |

| 13 | Effect of electroacupuncture on gene expression in calcium signaling pathway in hippocampal cells in mice with cerebral ischemia reperfusion显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the regulation of electroacupuncture on gene expression at calcium signaling pathways in mice with cerebral ischemia reperfusion.METHODS:Sixty male, inbred Kunming mice were randomly assigned to three groups:repeated cerebral ischemia reperfusion group(RG, n = 24),sham-operated group(SG, n = 12), and electroacupuncture group(EG, n = 24).Mice in RG and EGgroups were modeled by repeated cerebral ischemia reperfusion surgery, and EG mice were treated with electroacupuncture for 30 min after recovery from anesthesia.Changes in gene expression profile of mice hippocampi were analyzed by global expression profile microarray.Genes that were up-regulated or down-regulated greater than 1.5folds were considered to be biologically meaningful.Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(q-PCR) method was used to verify the expression of selected genes based on the algorithm [2^(ΔΔCt)].RESULTS:Compared with SG mice, 242 genes showed different in expressions in RG mice:107down-regulated and 135 up-regulated.Compared with RG mice, 609 genes showed a difference of expression in EG mice:315 down-regulated and 375up-regulated.Gene ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analyses indicated two pathways:calcium signaling and long-term potentiation in which 11 differentially expressed genes selected.Six of the 11 genes in the calcium signaling pathway were verified after real-time q-PCR testing.CONCLUSION:Electroacupuncture treatment of cerebral ischemia reperfusion appears to regulate Atp2a2, Cacna1 e, Camk2 a, Gnas, Grm1, Rapgef3 genes in the calcium signaling pathway. | Wang Yili Tian Yuanxiang Zhao Jianxin Xu Lei | 2017 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,2: | 2 |

| 19 | CSCS:a chromatin state interface for Chinese Spring bread wheat显示文摘A chromosome-level genome assembly of the bread wheat variety Chinese Spring(CS)has recently been published.Genome-wide identification of regulatory elements(REs)responsible for regulating gene activity is key to further mechanistic studies.Because epigenetic activity can reflect RE activity,defining chromatin states based on epigenomic features is an effective way to detect REs.Here,we present the web-based platform Chinese Spring chromatin state(CSCS),which provides CS chromatin signature information.CSCS indudes 15 recently published epigenomic data sets including open chromatin and major chromatin marks,which are further partitioned into 15 distinct chromatin states.CSCS curates detailed information about these chromatin states,with trained self-organization mapping(SOM)for segments in all chromatin states and JBrowse visualization for genomic regions or genes.Motif analysis for genomic regions or genes,GO analysis for genes and SOM analysis for new epige-nomic data sets are also integrated into CSCS.In summary,the CSCS database contains the combina-torial patterns of chromatin signatures in wheat and facilitates the detection of functi onal elements and further clarification of regulatory activities.We illustrate how CSCS enables biological insights using one example,demonstrating that CSCS is a highly useful resource for intensive data mining.CSCS is available at http://bioinfo.cemps.ac.cn/CSCS/. | Xiaojuan Ran Tengfei Tang Meiyue Wang Luhuan Ye Yili Zhuang Fei Zhao Yijing Zhang | 2021 | aBIOTECH2021,2,4: | 1 |
