2An economic and low-carbon day-ahead Pareto-optimal scheduling for wind farm integrated power systems with demand response显示文摘Demand response(DR)and wind power are beneficial to low-carbon electricity to deal with energy and environmental problems.However,the uncertain wind power generation(WG)which has anti-peaking characteristic would be hard to exert its ability in carbon reduction.This paper introduces DR into traditional unit commitment(UC)strategy and proposes a multi-objective day-ahead optimal scheduling model for wind farm integrated power systems,since incentive-based DR can accommodate excess wind power and can be used as a source of system spinning reserve to alleviate generation side reserve pressure during both peak and valley load periods.Firstly,net load curve is obtained by forecasting load and wind power output.Then,considering the behavior of DR,a day-ahead optimal dispatching scheme is proposed with objectives of minimum generating cost and carbon emission.Non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II(NSGA-II)and satisfaction-maximizing method are adopted to solve the multi-objective model with Pareto fronts and eclectic decision obtained.Finally,a case study is carried out to demonstrate that the approach can achieve economic and environmental aims and DR can help to accommodate the wind power.Rui MA Kai LI Xuan LI Zeyu QIN 2015Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2015,3,3:20
3Genes in the serotonin pathway are associated with bipolar affective disorder in a Han Chinese population显示文摘Serotonin plays an important role in mood regulation, but the involvement of serotonin pathway genes in the development of bipolar I disorder (BP-I), a mood disorder, is not clear. We selected 21 singlenucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) within the HTR2A gene, 8 within the SLC6A4 gene and 23 within the TPH2 gene for genotyping using the GoldenGate genotyping assay. A total of 375 patients with BP-I and 475 normal controls were recruited. Two out of 21 SNPs (rs1475196 and rs9567747) in the HTR2A gene and 1/23 SNPs (rs17110566) in the TPH2 gene were significantly associated with BP-I, both genotype-wise and allele-wise. Furthermore, a specific haplotype in the HTR2A gene showed a significant association with BP-I. 44D printing of PLA/PCL shape memory composites with controllable sequential deformation显示文摘Shape memory polymers(SMPs)are a promising class of materials for biomedical applications due to their favorable mechanical properties,fast response,and good biocompatibility.However,it is difficult to achieve controllable sequential shape change for most SMPs due to their high deformation temperature and the simplex deformation process.Herein,shape memory composites based on polylactic acid(PLA)matrix and semi-crystalline linear polymer polycaprolactone(PCL)are fabricated using 4D printing technology.Compared with pure PLA,with the rise of PCL content,the 4D-printed PLA/PCL composites show decreased glass transition temperature(Tg)from 67.2 to 55.2°C.Through the precise control of the deformation condition,controllable sequential deformation with an outstanding shape memory effect can be achieved for the PLA/PCL shape memory composites.The response time of shape recovery is less than 1.2 s,and the shape fixation/recov-ery rates are above 92%.In order to simulate sequential petal opening and sequential drug releasing effects,a double-layer bionic flower and a drug release device,respectively,are presented by assembling PLA/PCL samples with different PLA/PCL ratios.The results indicate the potential applications of 4D-printed PLA/PCL composites in the field of bio-inspired robotics and biomedical devices.Suqian Ma Zeyu Jiang Meng Wang Lan Zhang Yunhong Liang Zhihui Zhang Lei Ren Luquan Ren 2021Bio-Design and Manufacturing2021,4,4:2
5RNA modifications:importance in immune cell biology and related diseases显示文摘RNA modifications have become hot topics recently.By influencing RNA processes,including generation,transportation,function,and metabolization,they act as critical regulators of cell biology.The immune cell abnormality in human diseases is also a research focus and progressing rapidly these years.Studies have demonstrated that RNA modifications participate in the multiple biological processes of immune cells,including development,differentiation,activation,migration,and polarization,thereby modulating the immune responses and are involved in some immune related diseases.In this review,we present existing knowledge of the biological functions and underlying mechanisms of RNA modifications,including N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A),5-methylcytosine(m^(5)C),N1-methyladenosine(m1 A),N7-methylguanosine(m^(7)G),N4-acetylcytosine(ac^(4)C),pseudouridine(Ψ),uridylation,and adenosine-to-inosine(A-to-I)RNA editing,and summarize their critical roles in immune cell biology.Via regulating the biological processes of immune cells,RNA modifications can participate in the pathogenesis of immune related diseases,such as cancers,infection,inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.We further highlight the challenges and future directions based on the existing knowledge.All in all,this review will provide helpful knowledge as well as novel ideas for the researchers in this area.Lian Cui Rui Ma Jiangluyi Cai Chunyuan Guo Zeyu Chen Lingling Yao Yuanyuan Wang Rui Fan Xin Wang Yuling Shi 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,10:2
6The Corylus mandshurica genome provides insights into the evolution of Betulaceae genomes and hazelnut breeding显示文摘Hazelnut is popular for its flavor,and it has also been suggested that hazelnut is beneficial to cardiovascular health because it is rich in oleic acid.Here,we report the first high-quality chromosome-scale genome for the hazelnut species Corylus mandshurica(2n=22),which has a high concentration of oleic acid in its nuts.The assembled genome is 367.67Mb in length,and the contig N50 is 14.85 Mb.All contigs were assembled into 11 chromosomes,and 28,409 protein-coding genes were annotated.We reconstructed the evolutionary trajectories of the genomes of Betulaceae species and revealed that the 11 chromosomes of the hazelnut genus were derived from the most ancestral karyotype in Betula pendula,which has 14 protochromosomes,by inferring homology among five Betulaceae genomes.We identified 96 candidate genes involved in oleic acid biosynthesis,and 10 showed rapid evolution or positive selection.These findings will help us to understand the mechanisms of lipid synthesis and storage in hazelnuts.Several gene families related to salicylic acid metabolism and stress responses experienced rapid expansion in this hazelnut species,which may have increased its stress tolerance.The reference genome presented here constitutes a valuable resource for molecular breeding and genetic improvement of the important agronomic properties of hazelnut.Ying Li Pengchuan Sun Zhiqiang Lu Jinyuan Chen Zhenyue Wang Xin Du Zeyu Zheng Ying Wu Hongyin Hu Jiao Yang Jianxiang Ma Jianquan Liu Yongzhi Yang 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:1

8Squeezing bandwidth controllable twin beam light and phase sensitive nonlinear interferometer based on atomic ensembles显示文摘We review our recent experimental progress in quantum technology employing amplification effect of four-wave mixing in a rubidium vapor. We have produced an intensity difference squeezed light source at frequencies as low as 1.5 kHz which is so far the lowest frequency at which squeezing has been observed in an atomic system. Moreover, we find that the bandwidth of our squeezed light source can be controlled with light intensity pumping. Using our non-classical light source, we have further developed a nonlinear Mach-Zehnder (MZ) interferometer, for which the maximum fringe intensity depends quadratically on the intensity of the phase-sensing field at the high-gain regime, leading to much better sensitivity than a linear MZ interferometer in which the beam splitters have the same phase-sensing intensity. 9Evaluation of the chemical profile from four germplasms sources of Pruni Semen using UHPLC-LTQ-Orbitrap-MS and multivariate analyses显示文摘Pruni Semen,the seed of several unique Prunus plants,is a traditional purgative herbal material.To determine the authentic sources of Pruni Semen,46 samples from four species were collected and analyzed.Ten compounds including multiflorin A(Mul A),a notable purative compound,were isolated and identified by chemical separation and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.Seventy-six communal components were identified by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography with linear ion trap-quadrupole Orbitrap mass spectrometry,and acetyl flavonoid glycosides were recognized as characteristic constituents.The flavonoids were distributed in the seed coat and cyanogenic glycosides in the kernel.Based on this,methods for identifying Pruni Semen from different sources were established using chemical fingerprinting,quantitative analysis of the eight principal compounds,hierarchical cluster analysis,principal component analysis,and orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis.The results showed that the samples were divided into two categories:one is the small seeds from Prunus humilis(Ph)and Prunus japonica(Pj),and the other is the big seeds from Prunus pedunculata(Pp)and Prunus triloba(Pt).The average content of Mul A was 3.02,6.93,0.40,and 0.29 mg/g,while the average content of amygdalin was 18.5,17.7,31.5,and 30.9 mg/g in Ph,Pj,Pp,and Pt,respectively.All the above information suggests that small seeds might be superior sources of Pruni Semen.This is the first comprehensive report on the identification of chemical components in Pruni Semen from different species.Zihan Zhao Yue Liu Yushi Zhang Zeyu Geng Rina Su Lipeng Zhou Chao Han Zhanjun Wang Shuangcheng Ma Weidong Li 2022Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2022,12,5:1

12Effect and mechanism of CyPA in radiosensitization of lung adenocarcinoma using CRISPR/Cas9 technology显示文摘Objective:To explore the role of cyclophilin A(CyPA)in sensitization of lung adenocarcinoma to radiotherapy using CRISPR/Cas9 technology.Methods:A CyPA knockout human lung adenocarcinoma cell line H1975 was established by CRISPR/Cas9 technology.Groups included a control group(wildtype),CyPA knockout group,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)extract with Fuzhengzengxiao decoction group,and TCM extract with Fuzhengzengxiao decoction t CyPA knockout group.Each group was exposed to radiation at doses of 0,2,4,6,and 8 Gy.After 24 h,MTT assays were used to determine the survival rate of lung cancer cells and calculate radiosensitivity.The qPCR was used to measure mRNA expression of DDIT3,CDKN1A,and CDC25A associated with DNA damage repair.Results:Without irradiation,Fuzhengzengxiao decoction reduced the survival rate of lung adenocarcinoma cells(P<.0001).After irradiation,TCM extract with Fuzhengzengxiao decoction,CyPA knockout,and TCM extract with Fuzhengzengxiao decoction t CyPA knockout groups had reduced survival rates(P<.0001)and radiosensitivity was increased significantly.Expression of DDIT3,CDKN1A,and CDC25A was upregulated after knockout of CyPA(P<.0001).Expression of DDIT3 and CDC25A was increased after irradiation in wildtype cells treated with TCM extract with Fuzhengzengxiao decoction(DDIT3,P<.0001;CDC25A,P紏.0059).The TCM extract with Fuzhengzengxiao decoction t CyPA knockout group also had increased expression of DDIT3 and CDC25A after irradiation(P<.0001).Conclusion:Fuzhengzengxiao decoction significantly decreases the survival rate of lung cancer cells,and its mechanism may be related to radiosensitization by decreasing expression of CyPA and inducing G1/S cell cycle arrest.Jinkun Ma Lin Xu Jinchang Huang Qiaoli Zhang Yuqin Qiu Xuewei Qi Lina Wang Yuchan Cao Zeyu Liu Shiyun Liu 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2020,7,1:1

14Near-surface structure from ambient-noise tomography and horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio beneath the Nankou-Sunhe fault显示文摘Active faults pose a great threat to urban security.As the largest NW-trend active fault in Beijing area,the Nankou-Sunhe fault plays an important role in earthquake disaster and city construction.In this study,we collect continuous ambient noise data recorded by 43 temporary short-period seismograph between September 21th to October 12th 2019 to investigate the near-surface structure beneath the Nankou-Sunhe fault by using ambient noise tomography(ANT)and horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio(HVSR)method.From ambient noise processing,fundamental-mode Rayleigh wave signals are clearly observed in the frequency band of 0.4-2.5 Hz.Then direct surface-wave inversion algorithm is applied to calculate the 3D shear-wave velocity model.Our results show that there is a sharp velocity contrast across the Nankou-Sunhe fault,with low velocities down to about 2 km on the hanging wall and high velocity on the footwall of the fault.According to the geological investigation,the low velocities are related to thicker sediments and Jurassic volcanic rock below which are the cap rock of the hydrothermal system.From the HVSR analysis,the HVSR curves of the sites near the fault shows double-peak,one less than 1 Hz and the other centered 7 Hz.After converting frequency to depth by the empirical equation,the results show that the thickness of sediments is thinned from southwest to northeast,which generally agrees well to field survey.Our results provide high-resolution near-surface structure for future study on disaster risk reduction and urban planning.Yuting Zhang Hongyi Li Yanzhen Li Zhijie Wei Zeyu Ma Huiying Ge Tongli Wang Yafen Huang Min Liu 2020Earthquake Science2020,33,5:0
15Improving hole transfer of boron nitride quantum dots modified PDI for efficient photodegradation显示文摘In recent years,organic photocatalyst under visible-light absorption has shown significant potential for solving environmental problems.However,it is still a great challenge for constructing a highly active organic photocatalyst due to the low separation efficiency of photogenerated carriers.Herein,an effective and robust photocatalyst perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylic diamide/boron nitride quantum dots(PDI/BNQDs),consisting of selfassemble PDI withπ–πstacking structure and BNQDs,has been constructed and researched under visible light irradiation.The PDI/BNQDs composite gradually increases organic pollutant photodegradation with the loading amount of BNQDs.With 10 mL of BNQDs solution added(PDI/BNQDs-10),the organic pollutant photodegradation performance reaches a maximum,about 6.16 times higher with methylene blue and 1.68 times higher with ciprofloxacin than that of pure PDI supramolecular.The enhancement is attributed to improved separation of photogenerated carriers from self-assembled PDI by BNQDs due to their preeminent ability to extract holes.This work is significant for the supplement of PDI supramolecular composite materials.We believe that this photocatalytic design is capable of expanding organic semiconductors’potential for their applications in photocatalysis.Shiqing Ma Chundong Peng Zeyu Jia Yanmei Feng Kai Chen Hao Ding Daimei Chen Zhong-Yong Yuan 2023Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2023,17,11:0
16Tribological performance and scuffing behaviors of several automobile piston rings mating with chrome-plated cylinder liner显示文摘The friction and wear properties,as well as the scuffing resistance,of different piston-ring coatings mating with a chrome-plated cylinder liner were investigated.Interrupted wear tests under the lubricant starvation condition were conducted to examine the wear behavior of Cr-diamond coating(GDC)and diamond-like coating(DLC).The results indicated that the DLC coating had outstanding tribological properties(small coefficient of friction and wear loss)at 150°C,while the GDC coating exhibited better performance at an elevated temperature(240°C).The DLC coating had a better scuffing resistance;no material adhesion occurred for 70 min under the unlubricated condition.The interrupted wear behaviors revealed that the scuffing process of the GDC coating involved the consumption of lubricant oil with relatively stable wear,a reduction in the friction force,and the occurrence of scuffing,in sequence.In contrast,although the friction force also increased after a short period of weak friction,no scuffing was observed.This is attributed to the formation of a mixed oxide and graphitic C tribolayer.Zeyu MA Ruoxuan HUANG Xiaoshuai YUAN Yan SHEN Jiujun XU 2022Friction2022,10,8:0

19Alternating current stimulation promotes neurite outgrowth and plasticity in neurons through activation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway显示文摘As a commonly used physical intervention,electrical stimulation(ES)has been demonstrated to be effective in the treatment of central nervous system disorders.Currently,researchers are studying the effects of electrical stimu-lation on individual neurons and neural networks,which are dependent on factors such as stimulation intensity,duration,location,and neuronal properties.However,the exact mechanism of action of electrical stimulation remains unclear.In some cases,repeated or prolonged electrical stimulation can lead to changes in the morphology or function of the neuron.In this study,immunofluorescence staining and Sholl analysis are used to assess changes in the neurite number and axon length to determine the optimal pattern and stimulation parameters of ES for neurons.Neuronal death and plasticity are detected by TUNEL staining and microelectrode array assays,respec-tively.mRNA sequencing and bioinformatics analysis are applied to predict the key targets of the action of ES on neurons,and the identified targets are validated by western blot analysis and qRT-PCR.The effects of alternating current stimulation(ACS)on neurons are more significant than those of direct current stimulation(DCS),and the optimal parameters are 3μA and 20 min.ACS stimulation significantly increases the number of neurites,the length of axons and the spontaneous electrical activity of neurons,significantly elevates the expression of growth-asso-ciated protein-43(GAP-43)without significant changes in the expression of neurotrophic factors.Furthermore,application of PI3K/AKT-specific inhibitors significantly abolishes the beneficial effects of ACS on neurons,con-firming that the PI3K/AKT pathway is an important potential signaling pathway in the action of ACS.Hao Zhong Cong Xing Mi Zhou Zeyu Jia Song Liu Shibo Zhu Bo Li Hongjiang Yang Hongpeng Ma Liyue Wang Rusen Zhu Zhigang Qu Guangzhi Ning 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,11:0
20Multi-scale analysis of schizophrenia risk genes, brain structure, and clinical symptoms reveals integrative dues for subtyping schizophrenia patients显示文摘Analysis Unking directly genomics, neuroimaging phenotypes and clinical measurements is crucial for understanding psychiatric disorders, but remains rare.Here, we describe a multi-scale analysis using genome-wide SNPs, gene expression, grey matter volume (GMV), and the positive and negative syndrome scale scores (PANSS) to explore the etiology of schizophrenia. With 72 drug-naive schizophrenic first episode patients (FEPs) and 73 matched heathy controls, we identified 108 genes, from schizophrenia risk genes, that correlated significantly with GMV, which are highly co-expressed in the brain during development. Among these 108 candidates, 19 distinct genes were found associated with 16 brain regions referred to as hot clusters (HCs), primarily in the frontal cortex, sensory-motor regions and temporal and parietal regions.The patients were subtyped into three groups with distinguishable PANSS scores by the GMV of the identified HCs.
