1Mapping wetland changes in China between 1978 and 2008显示文摘Four wetland maps for all China have been produced,based on Landsat and CBERS-02B remote sensing data between 1978 and 2008 (1978,1990,2000 and 2008).These maps were mainly developed by manual interpretation and validated by substantial field investigation in 2009.Based on these maps,we analyzed the 2008 wetland distribution in China and discussed wetland changes and their drivers over the past 30 years.(i) There were about 324097 km 2 of wetlands in 2008,for which inland marshes or swamps were the most common wetland type (35%),with lakes (26%) second.Most of the wetlands were in Heilongjiang,Inner Mongolia,Qinghai and Tibet,occupying about 55% of the national wetland area.(ii) From 1978 to 2008,China's wetland area continually and significantly decreased,by about 33% based on changes in the wetland map.This was in sharp contrast to the increase in artificial wetlands,which increased by about 122%.Inland marshes accounted for the main loss of total wetlands from 1978 to 2000.From 2000 through 2008,riverine and lacustrine wetlands constituted the main wetland loss.Fortunately however,the rate of wetland loss decreased from 5523 to 831 km 2 /a.(iii) The change ratio of lost natural wetlands (including inland and coastal wetlands) to non-wetlands has decreased slightly over the past 30 years.From 1978 to 1990,nearly all natural wetlands (98%) lost were transformed into non-wetlands.However,the ratio declined to 86% from 1990 to 2000,and to 77% from 2000 to 2008.(iv) All Chinese provinces were divided into three groups according to patterns of wetland changes,which could relate to the driving forces of such changes.Tibet was completely different from other provinces,as it was one representative example in which there was a net wetland increase,because of global warming and decreased human activity since 1990.Increased economic development caused considerable wetland loss in most eastern provinces,and artificial wetlands increased.NIU ZhenGuo ZHANG HaiYing WANG XianWei YAO WenBo ZHOU DeMin ZHAO KuiYi ZHAO Hui LI NaNa HUANG HuaBing LI CongCong YANG Jun LIU CaiXia LIU Shuang WANG Lin LI Zhan YANG ZhenZhong QIAO Fei ZHENG YaoMin CHEN YanLei SHENG YongWei GAO XiaoHong ZHU WeiHong WANG WenQing WANG Hong WENG YongLing ZHUANG DaFang LIU JiYuan LUO ZhiCai CHENG Xiao GUO ZiQi GONG Peng 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,22:51

4Ubi1 intron-mediated enhancement of the expression of Bt cry1Ah gene in transgenic maize (Zea mays L.)显示文摘The cry1Ah gene was one of novel insecticidal genes cloned from Bacillus thuringiensis isolate BT8. Two plant expression vectors containing cry1Ah gene were constructed. The first intron of maize ubiqutin1 gene was inserted between the maize Ubiquitin promoter and cry1Ah gene in one of the plant expressing vectors (pUUOAH). The two vectors were introduced into maize immature embryonic calli by microprojectile bombardment, and the reproductively plants were acquired. PCR and Southern blot analysis showed that foreign genes had been integrated into maize genome and inherited to the next generation stably. The ELISA assay to T1 and T2 generation plants showed that the expression of Cry1Ah protein in the construct containing the ubi1 intron (pUUOAH) was 20% higher than that of the intronless construct (pUOAH). Bioassay results showed that the transgenic maize harboring cry1Ah gene had high resistance to the Asian corn borers and the insecticidal activity of the transgenic maize containing the ubi1 intron was higher than that of the intronless construct. 5Optimization of parameters on photocatalytic degradation of chloramphenicol using TiO_2 as photocatalyist by response surface methodology显示文摘The experimental design methodology was applied for modeling and optimizing the operation parameters on photocatalytic degradation of chloramphenicol (CAP) using TiO 2 as photocatalyst in a photoreactor. Three experimental parameters (including pH, TiO 2 concentration and CAP initial concentration) were adopted to obtain the preliminary information. The multivariate experimental design was employed to establish a quadratic model as a functional relationship between the degradation rate of CAP and three experimental parameters. The interaction effects and optimal parameters were obtained by using Design Expert software. The optimal values of the operation parameters under the related constraint conditions were found at pH 6.4, TiO 2 concentration of 0.94 g/L and CAP initial concentration of 19.97 mg/L, respectively. The degradation rate of CAP approached 85.97% under optimal conditions. The regression analysis with R 2 value of 0.9519 had a good agreement between the experimental results and the predictive values. 6Photodegradation of Norfloxacin in aqueous solution containing algae显示文摘Photodegradation of Norfloxacin in aqueous solution containing algae under a medium pressure mercury lamp(15 W,λ max = 365 nm) was investigated.Results indicated that the photodegradation of Norfloxacin could be induced by the algae in the heterogeneous algaewater systems.The photodegradation rate of Norfloxacin increased with increasing algae concentration,and was greatly influenced by the temperature and pH of solution.Meanwhile,the cooperation action of algae and Fe(III),and the ultrasound were beneficial to photodegradation of Norfloxacin.The degradation kinetics of Norfloxacin was found to follow the pseudo zero-order reaction in the suspension of algae.In addition,we discussed the photodegradation mechanism of Norfloxacin in the suspension of algae.This work will be helpful for understanding the photochemical degradation of antibiotics in aqueous environment in the presence of algae,for providing a new method to deal with antibiotics pollution.Junwei Zhang Dafang Fu Jilong Wu 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,4:10
7An intracellular toxic protein (Xin) isolated from Xenorhabdus nematophilus strain BJ显示文摘An intracellular toxic protein, designated Xin and with remarkable inhibitory effect on growth of Helicoverpa armigera, was isolated from X. Nematophilus strain BJ by ion exchange chromatography and hydrophobic interaction chromatography. After placing neonates on the artificial diet containing Xin at concentration of 0 or 3.48μg/g for 7 days, the average weight of insects was 23.50mg and 0.55mg, respectively. The activity of Xin was lost by heating, freeze-drying, digestion with proteases or urea. The Xin molecular weight, over kD, was determined by gel filtration on Superose 12, and there were six component proteins analyzed by SDS-PAGE. 8Reducing nitrogen runoff from paddy fields with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi under different fertilizer regimes显示文摘Nitrogen(N) runoff from paddy fields serves as one of the main sources of water pollution. Our aim was to reduce N runoff from paddy fields by fertilizer management and inoculation with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF). In northeast China, Shuangcheng city in Heilongjiang province, a field experiment was conducted, using rice provided with 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%,and 100% of the local norm of fertilization(including N, phosphorus and potassium), with or without inoculation with Glomus mosseae. The volume, concentrations of total N(TN),dissolved N(DN) and particulate N(PN) of runoff water were measured. We found that the local norm of fertilization led to 18.9 kg/ha of N runoff during rice growing season, with DN accounting for 60%–70%. We also found that reduction in fertilization by 20% cut down TN runoff by 8.2% while AMF inoculation decreased N runoff at each fertilizer level and this effect was inhibited by high fertilization. The combination of inoculation with AMF and 80% of the local norm of fertilization was observed to reduce N runoff by 27.2%. 10A Fast and Memory-Efficient Approach to NDN Name Lookup显示文摘For name-based routing/switching in NDN, the key challenges are to manage large-scale forwarding Tables, to lookup long names of variable lengths, and to deal with frequent updates. Hashing associated with proper length-detecting is a straightforward yet efficient solution. Binary search strategy can reduce the number of required hash detecting in the worst case. However, to assure the searching path correct in such a schema, either backtrack searching or redundantly storing some prefixes is required, leading to performance or memory issues as a result. In this paper, we make a deep study on the binary search, and propose a novel mechanism to ensure correct searching path without neither additional backtrack costs nor redundant memory consumptions. Along any binary search path, a bloom filter is employed at each branching point to verify whether a said prefix is present, instead of storing that prefix here. By this means, we can gain significantly optimization on memory efficiency, at the cost of bloom checking before each detecting. 11Postoperative Complications and Survival Analysis of Surgical Resection for Hilar Cholangiocarcinoma:A Retrospective Study of Fifty-Nine Consecutive Patients显示文摘Objective Hilar cholangiocarcinoma(HC)is invariably fatal without surgical resection.The primary aim of the current study was to determine the safety of variable surgical resections for patient with HC and their survival after surgical resection.In addition,prognostic factor for the overall survival was also evaluated.Methods The study included 59 consecutive patients who were newly diagnosed with HC and underwent surgical resections with curative intend between February 2009 and February 2017.Patients were followed up at 3-6 months intervals after hospital discharge.Postoperative complications and overall survival were determined.Associations of clinicopathologic and surgeon-related factors with overall survival were evaluated through univariate analysis and Cox regression analysis.Results Of patients with Bismuth and Corlette(B&C)type HI(n=19)and IV(n=25)HC lesions,33(55.9%)were treated with hilar resection combined with major liver resection(MLR),while the other 11 patients with type HI and IV,and those with type I(n=8)and II(n=7)HC lesions were treated with hilar resection.The overall surgical mortality was 5.1%and surgical morbidity was 35.6%.There was no statistical difference in the mortality between MLR group and hilar resection group(6.1%vs.3.8%;X2=0.703,P=0.145).The median follow-up period was 18 months(range,1-94 months).The 1-,3-,5-year survival rate was 59.3%,36.5%,and 17.7%,respectively.The overall survival after resections was 18 months.In HC patients with B&C type III and IV lesions,the median survival was 23 months for hilar resection with MLR and 8 months for hilar resection alone;the 1-,3-,5-year cumulative survival rate was 63.9%,23.3%,and 15.5%,respectively for hilar resection with MLR,and 11.1%,0,and 0,respectively for hilar resection alone,with significant diflerene observed(HR,9.902;95%CI,2.636-19.571,P=0.001).Four factors were independently associated with overall survival:preoperative serum Cal9-9(HR,7.039;95%CI,2.803-17.678,P<0.001),histopathologic grade(HR,4.964;95%CI,1.046-23.552,?=0.044),surgical margins(P=0.031),andAJCC staging(P=0.015).Conclusions R0 resection is efficacious in surgical treatment of HC.MLR in combination with caudate lobe resection may increase the chance of R0 resection and improve survival of HC patients with B&C type IK and IV lesions.Preoperatively prepared for biliary drainage may ensure the safety of MLR in most HC patients.Novel adjuvant therapies are needed to improve the survival of HC patients with poor prognostic factors.Weihua Zhu Wenyong Xie Zhedong Zhang Shu Li Dafang Zhang Yijun Liu Jiye Zhu Xisheng Leng 2020Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2020,35,2:4
12A Geography-Intimacy-Based Algorithm for Data Forwarding in Mobile Social Networks显示文摘Due to uncertain network connectivity, efficiently data forwarding in Mobile social networks(MSNs)becomes challenging. To conquer the problem, an Efficient data forwarding scheme based on geography intimacy(GIDF) for MSNs to achieve higher delivery ratio is proposed. In GIDF, we firstly propose an Intimacy based dynamic community detection algorithm(IDCD), which divide the MSNs into several communities. We propose a novel metric geography intimacy which can quantify the node's geographical information and the friendships between nodes. Based on geography intimacy, we further propose a routing algorithm to forward data. Compared with the geography intimacy between nodes, the next hop is found, further find the route of data forwarding by doing the similar operations. 14Distributed Low-Complexity Channel Assignment for Opportunistic Routing显示文摘Opportunistic Routing (OR) involves multiple forwarding candidates to relay packets by taking advantage of the broadcast nature and multi-user diversity of a wireless medium. Compared with Traditional Routing (TR), OR is more suitable in the case of an unreliable wireless link and can evidently improve the end-to-end throughput of Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs). In this paper, we focus on OR in Multi-Radio Multi-Channel WMNs (MRMC-WMNs). This problem has not been well examined and is considerably more challenging than the OR in single-radio wireless networks considered in the existing literature. First, we validate the advantage of OR in MRMC-WMNs. Second, we propose Low-complexity Channel Assignment for Opportunistic Routing (LcCAOR), which assigns channels to flows according to the interference state of every node. Third, we implement the LcCOAR in a fully distributed manner. 15Multi-stride Indexing: Improve NFA for Fast and Scalable DPI显示文摘Regular expression matching is one of the key techniques for Deep packet inspection(DPI). Generally, the Deterministic finite automata(DFA) can process regular expression matching at a very high rate but memory inefficient. By contrast, the Non-deterministic finite automata(NFA) improves the memory efficiency significantly, at the cost of low speed. To meet the increasing demands on both throughput and memory scalability, we propose a novel schema to achieve fast regular expression with reasonable and controllable memory consumption. According to observations on matching real traffic, we design a Multi-Stride Indexing(MSI) table and divide each matching into two steps, toward the MSI table and the NFA respectively. the MSI table consumes a small fixed amount of on-chip memories(it is about 20 KB for 2 stride level MSI table).
