| 1 | Factors Associated with Thrombolysis Outcome in Ischemic Stroke Patients with Atrial Fibrillation显示文摘The outcome of early intravenous thrombolysis for ischemic stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation(AF)is worse than that without thrombosis. How to increase the efficacy of intravenous thrombolysis for AF-related ischemic stroke remains largely unknown. In this study, we investigated factors that influence the effect of intravenous thrombolysis in these patients. Our results showed that thrombolysis was independently associated with a favorable outcome(P \ 0.001) and did not influence the mortality of AF-related ischemic stroke, although it increased the risk of hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. Risk factors for a poor outcome at admission were:heart failure(P = 0.045); high systolic pressure(P = 0.039); high blood glucose(P = 0.030); and a high National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) score(P \ 0.001). Moreover, high systolic pressure at admission(P = 0.007), high blood glucose(P = 0.027), and a high NIHSS score(P \ 0.001) were independent risk factors for mortality at 3 months. Besides thrombolysis, a high NIHSS score(P = 0.006) and warfarin taken within 48 h before stroke onset(P = 0.032) were also independent risk factors for symptomatic hemorrhage within 24 h after treatment. | 2 | Arbitrary focusing lens by holographic metasurface显示文摘In this paper, an ultrathin metalens has been proposed based on a holographic metasurface that consists of elongated apertures in 40 nm gold film, which exhibit intriguing properties such as on-and off-axis focusing and also can concentrate light into multiple, discrete spots for circularly polarized incident lights. First, the spatial transmission phase distributions of the designed metalens with arbitrary focusing can be obtained by computergenerated holography. Then, the discrete phase distributions can be continuously encoded by subwavelength nanoapertures with spatially varying orientations in gold film. The simulation results show that our designed metalens can work efficiently for different types of focusing. | 4 | Kinetics, thermodynamics, and equilibrium of As(Ⅲ),Cd(Ⅱ), Cu(Ⅱ) and Pb(Ⅱ) adsorption using porous chitosan bead-supported MnFe_(2)O_(4) nanoparticles显示文摘A novel porous nanocomposite,cross-linked chitosan and polyethylene glycol(PEG) bead-supported MnFe_(2) O_(4) nanoparticles(CPM),was developed as an efficient adsorbent to remove metalloid(As(Ⅲ))and heavy metals(Cd(Ⅱ),Cu(Ⅱ),and Pb(Ⅱ)).The characteristics of CPM showed a porous structure,well dispersed MnFe_(2) O_(4),and several of hydroxyl and amino groups(-OH,-NH_(2)).Batch experiments demonstrated that the best adsorption property of As(Ⅲ),Cd(Ⅱ),Cu(Ⅱ),and Pb(Ⅱ) was achieved within 8 h with maximum adsorption capacities of 9.90,9.73,43.94,and 11.98 mg/g,respectively.Competitive and synergistic effects(particularly precipitation) were included in the co-adsorption mechanism of As(Ⅲ) and heavy metals.Thereinto,As(Ⅲ) was partly oxidized by MnFe_(2) O_(4) to As(V),and both were coordinated on MnFe_(2) O_(4) nanoparticles.Pb(Ⅱ) could also bind to MnFe_(2) O_(4) by ion exchange and electrostatic attraction.Furthermore,Cd(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ) tended to be coordinated on chitosan.Therefore,CPM can serve as a remediation material for water and soil co-contaminated with As(Ⅲ) and heavy metals. | Hongxia Li Hongbing Ji Xinglan Cui Xiaokui Che Qidong Zhang Juan Zhong Rongzhen Jin Lei Wang Yi Luo | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,6: | 2 |

| 10 | Influence of substituting B_(2)O_(3) with Li_(2)O on the viscosity,structure and crystalline phase of low-reactivity mold flux显示文摘The low-reactivity mold flux with low SiO_(2)content is considered suitable for the continuous casting of high-aluminum steel since it can significantly reduce the reaction between Al in steel and SiO_(2)in mold flux.However,the traditional low-reactivity mold flux still presents some problems such as high viscosity and strong crystallization tendency.In this study,the co-addition of Li_(2)O and B_(2)O_(3)in CaO–Al_(2)O_(3)–10wt%Si O_(2)based low-reactivity mold flux was proposed to improve properties of mold flux for high-aluminum steel,and the effect of Li_(2)O replacing B_(2)O_(3)on properties of mold flux was investigated.The viscosity of the mold flux with 2wt%Li_(2)O and 6wt%B_(2)O_(3)reached a minimum value of 0.07 Pa·s.The break temperature and melting point showed a similar trend with the viscosity.Besides,the melt structure and precipitation of the crystalline phase were studied using Raman and X-ray diffraction spectra to better understand the evolution of viscosity.It demonstrated that with increasing Li_(2)O content in the mold flux from 0 to 6 wt%,the degree of polymerization of aluminate and the aluminosilicate network structure increased because of increasing Li+released by Li_(2)O,indicating the added Li_(2)O was preferentially associated with Al^(3+)as a charge compensator.The precipitation of LiAlO_(2)crystalline phase gradually increased with the replacement of B_(2)O_(3)by Li_(2)O.Therefore,Li_(2)O content should be controlled below 2wt%to avoid LiAlO_(2)precipitation,which was harmful to the continuous casting of highaluminum steels. | Rongzhen Mo Xubin Zhang Ying Ren Junjie Hu Lifeng Zhang | 2023 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,7: | 0 |

| 14 | Low expression of centrosomal protein 78(CEP78)is associated with poor prognosis of colorectal cancer patients显示文摘Background: Centrosomal protein 78(CEP78) has been characterized as a component of the centrosome required for the regulation of centrosome-related events during the cell cycle, but its role in human cancers remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the role and the clinical value of CEP78 in colorectal cancer(CRC).Methods: Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(q RT-PCR) and immunohistochemistry were performed to examine CEP78 expression in CRC tissues and adjacent noncancerous tissues. The association between CEP78 expression and clinical outcomes of CRC patients was determined. The effect of CEP78 on cell growth was examined in vitro by 3-(4,5-dimethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2,5-diphenyl-2-H-tetrazolium bromide(MTT) assay, colony formation, and flow cytometry assays and in vivo using a nude mouse model.Results: The expression level of CEP78 was significantly lower in tumor tissues than in the adjacent normal tissues(P < 0.01). Low CEP78 expression was significantly associated with poor differentiation(P etastasis(P = 0.003), large tumor size(P = 0.017), lymphatic mtient= 0.034), distant metastasis(P s with low CEP78 expression h= 0.029), and advanced stage(P Meier analysis indicated that paad shorter survival than those wit= 0.011). Kaplan–h high CEP78 expression(P < 0.01). Overexpression of CEP78 in CRC cells significantly reduced cell viability and colony formation in vitro and halted tumor growth in vivo.
