1Experimental investigation on transverse jet penetration into a supersonic turbulent crossflow显示文摘The paper evaluates the evolvement of coherent structures and penetration height of gaseous transverse jet penetration into a supersonic turbulent flow.The high spatiotemporal resolution coherent structures of the jet plume are obtained by utilizing the nanoparticle-based planar laser scattering technique(NPLS).The evolving pattern of the coherent structures generated on the upwind surface of the transverse jet is analyzed based on the NPLS images.The shedding eddies from the jet near-field have lower convection velocity along freestream direction,while vortex growth rate is apparently higher than the far-field.Farther downstream,the large-scale eddies have less deformation and translate at velocities near the freestream velocity.Thus the near-field determines the scale of eddies in the far-field and affects the whole mixing process.The effect of injection stagnation pressure on the coherent structures is discussed and a modified penetration correlation is proposed based on an edge approximation definition and least square method with various injection pressures.SUN MingBo ZHANG ShunPing ZHAO YanHui ZHAO YuXin LIANG JianHan 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,8:7
2Assessment of organic compost and biochar in promoting phytoremediation of crude-oil contaminated soil using Calendula officinalis in the Loess Plateau, China显示文摘The Loess Plateau,located in Gansu Province,is an important energy base in China because most of the oil and gas resources are distributed in Gansu Province.In the last 40 a,ecological environment in this region has been extremely destroyed due to the over-exploitation of crude-oil resources.Remediation of crude-oil contaminated soil in this area remains to be a challenging task.In this study,in order to elucidate the effects of organic compost and biochar on phytoremediation of crude-oil contaminated soil(20 g/kg)by Calendula officinalis,we designed five treatments,i.e.,natural attenuation(CK),planted C.officinalis only(P),planted C.officinalis with biochar amendment(PB),planted C.officinalis with organic compost amendment(PC),and planted C.officinalis with co-amendment of biochar and organic compost(PBC).After 152 d of cultivation,total petroleum hydrocarbons(TPH)removal rates of CK,P,PB,PC and PBC were 6.36%,50.08%,39.58%,73.10%and 59.87%,respectively.Shoot and root dry weights of C.officinalis significantly increased by 172.31%and 80.96%under PC and 311.61%and 145.43%under PBC,respectively as compared with P(P<0.05).Total chlorophyll contents in leaves of C.officinalis under P,PC and PBC significantly increased by 77.36%,125.50%and 79.80%,respectively(P<0.05)as compared with PB.Physical-chemical characteristics and enzymatic activity of soil in different treatments were also assessed.The highest total N,total P,available N,available P and SOM(soil organic matter)occurred in PC,followed by PBC(P<0.05).C.officinalis rhizospheric soil dehydrogenase(DHA)and polyphenol oxidase(PPO)activities in PB were lower than those of other treatments(P<0.05).The values of ACE(abundance-based coverage estimators)and Chao 1 indices for rhizospheric bacteria were the highest under PC followed by PBC,P,PB and CK(P<0.05).However,the Shannon index for bacteria was the highest under PC and PBC,followed by P,PB and CK(P<0.05).In terms of soil microbial community composition,Proteiniphilum,Immundisolibacteraceae and Solimonadaceae were relatively more abundant under PC and PBC.Relative abundances of Pseudallescheria,Ochroconis,Fusarium,Sarocladium,Podospora,Apodus,Pyrenochaetopsis and Schizothecium under PC and PBC were higher,while relative abundances of Gliomastix,Aspergillus and Alternaria were lower under PC and PBC.As per the nonmetric multidimensional scaling(NMDS)analysis,application of organic compost significantly promoted soil N and P contents,shoot length,root vitality,chlorophyll ratio,total chlorophyll,abundance and diversity of rhizospheric soil microbial community in C.officinalis.A high p H value and lower soil N and P contents induced by biochar,altered C.officinalis rhizospheric soil microbial community composition,which might have restrained its phytoremediation efficiency.The results suggest that organic compost-assisted C.officinalis phytoremediation for crude-oil contaminated soil was highly effective in the Loess Plateau,China.WANG Jincheng JING Mingbo ZHANG Wei ZHANG Gaosen ZHANG Binglin LIU Guangxiu CHEN Tuo ZHAO Zhiguang 2021Journal of Arid Land2021,13,6:4

4Efficient CO_(2) electroreduction over N-doped hieratically porous carbon derived from petroleum pitch显示文摘Developing of economic and efficient catalysts is critical for the application of electroreduction of carbon dioxide to highly valuable chemicals.Herein,we present a facile method to synthesize N-doped hieratically porous carbon through pyrolysis of petroleum pitch followed by ammonia etching.We found mesopores are favored formation by removing of asphaltene from petroleum pitch during the carbonation process.Simultaneously,ammonia etching can not only increase the pyridinic-N content,but also upgrade the ratio of meso-to micro-pores of carbon materials.Using the N-doped hieratically porous carbon as catalyst for carbon dioxide electroreduction,the Faradaic efficiency of carbon monoxide reaches 83%at-0.9 V vs.the reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)in 0.1 M KHCO_(3).This superior performance is attributed to the synergistic effects of highly pyridinic-N content in conjunction with the hieratically porous architecture,rendering abundant exposed and accessible active sites for electroreduction of CO_(2).Our work provides a new strategy for the large-scale preparation of high-performance,low-cost catalysts for CO_(2) electroreduction.Hui Ning Dianliang Guo Xiaoshan Wang Zhonghao Tan Wenhang Wang Zhongxue Yang Linqing Li Qingshan Zhao Jian Hao Mingbo Wu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,5:3

6Range anomaly suppression based on neighborhood pixels detection in ladar range images显示文摘Research on the range anomaly suppression algorithm in laser radar(ladar) range images is significant in the application and development of ladar.But most of existing algorithms cannot protect the edge and linear target well while suppressing the range anomaly.Aiming at this problem,the differences among the edge, linear target,and range anomaly are analyzed and a novel algorithm based on neighborhood pixels detection is proposed.Firstly, the range differences between current pixel and its neighborhood pixels are calculated.Then,the number of neighborhood pixels is detected by the range difference threshold.Finally,whether the current pixel is a range anomaly is distinguished by the neighborhood pixel number threshold.Experimental results show that the new algorithm not only has a better range anomaly suppression performance and higher efficiency,but also protects the edge and linear target preferably compared with other algorithms.Mingbo Zhao Jun He Zaiqi Lu Qiang Fu 2013Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2013,24,1:2

14Mode splitting revealed by Fano interference显示文摘An optical whispering gallery mode(WGM) resonator supports degenerate counter-propagating modes and the degeneracy is lifted as mode splitting due to Rayleigh scattering. However, quantitative analysis becomes difficult if the resonance experiences weak scattering. Here we develop a spectroscopical method to identify an arbitrary small scatterer using the Fano interference-induced spectral response modification. Scattering information can be revealed by fitting the responses as a function of the field’s phase and intensity. In addition, we show that this modified response helps achieve an ultra-low detection limit for the mode-splitting-based nanoparticle detection method. 19Mixing and combustion characteristics in a scramjet combustor with different distances between cavity and backward-facing step显示文摘The mixing and combustion characteristics in a cavity flameholding combustor under inlet Mach number 2.92 are numerically investigated with ethylene injection.Dimensionless distance is defined as the ratio of the actual distance to the height of the combustor entrance.The cavity shear-layer mode,the lifted cavity shear-layer mode,and jet wake mode with upstream separation are observed respectively with dimensionless distance equals to 1.5,4.5,and 7.5.In both non-reacting and reacting flow fields,the numerical results are essentially in agreement with the schlieren photography,flame chemiluminescence images,and wall pressure,which verify the reliability of the numerical method.The results of non-reacting flow fields show that the BackwardFacing Step(BFS)can promote the flow separation downstream at a fixed distance.The more forward the separation position is,the larger the separation zone is in the non-reacting flow field.Furthermore,the larger the separation zone is,the higher the intensity of combustion in the reacting flow field is.A reasonable distance can reduce the total pressure loss generated by the shock waves in the combustor.The flame presents remarkable three-dimensional characteristics in the reacting flow fields.When dimensionless distance equals to 4.5,there are flames near the side wall above the cavity and it is difficult for the flame stabilization in the center of the combustor,while the combustion intensity in the center of the combustor is higher than that near the side wall when dimensionless distance equals to 7.5.In the cavity flameholding combustors with a backward-facing step,the higher combustion intensity may bring much total pressure loss to the combustor.Thus,it is a good choice to achieve better thrust performance when dimensionless distance equals to 4.5 compared to the other two combustors.Mingjiang LIU Mingbo SUN Daoning YANG Guoyan ZHAO Tao TANG Bin AN Hongbo WANG 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,7:0
